They say every cloud
has a silver lining

In some moments

we do not often see
what is there before our eyes.

My muffins are in the toaster
I got my raspberry jam
My grandfather was a sailor

Cloud Nine lived a life of fantasy,
Barely conceding the existence of Cloud Eight,
Who felt jealousy for Cloud Seven's
Silver lining,
Although it was saturnine.
Cloud Six lived a life in a daze,
Dozing in the sun's rays;
