No Values / No More Lonely Nights
I hear them telling me that you're selling off the furniture
And even keep my personalized autographs
You might as well go all the way and sell your granny to the zoo
And while you're at it, may I go to my psychiatrist ?
He's making money out of making me laugh
But I don't mind , I wish that I could say the same about you

The Feeding of Their Greed Has Ceased
Who are they that sit,
With pouting lips...
And balled fists?
'Those who refused to see life as it is.
Those who viewed the truth,
As something that is negative! '
But why are they angered by the revelation of it?
'They see themselves as positive,
And resist to believe...
Their realities have been deceived.
And those who spoke of these times that are here...
They have chosen to resist them too,
In the hopes that showing force...
Will show what is known and true,
Takes another course.
And turn their gray skies blue.'
And all this time they wasted,
Celebrating decadence?
They had no trouble accepting that!

Resist... resist with all my strength
Sometimes i find it hard to resist

Negative To Positive
In everyone’s life, we go through times
when it seems full with turbulence
and the negative feelings take hold.
Sometimes they don’t last long,
while other times they stay for quite a while.
Then we will do something quite out of the ordinary
and those feeling
turn from negative to positive almost overnight.
The mountains we thought we could never climb
become climbable now
and those distant dreams we had
now become reality.
We feel there isn’t anything
that we cannot do,
until the next time the negative thoughts break through,
and once again,
we try to make the positives ones come back.

I put together the influences of my life in as clear a way as I possibly can, in the same way that Beethoven or Schoenberg or Bach put their influences together.
I'm Gonna Write You A New Poem
It seems like every time I sit down to write of you
That it's forced, it's negative, it's a battle, it's depressing too
But that's now how I want you to think that I think of you, because
I actually love you, just pause
And think, and remember that I tried to push you away
In everything... that yo might say
That you'd never love me.
Then I KNOW you'd be happy because I'm just not good enough
Then I try to be tough
And accept the pain, you know, love you enough to let you go.
But I want to make sure that you also KNOW
That I ardently love you, you see
Not every poem about you is negative or about the struggle inside of me
I actually could go on for hours about how much I care
Could go on for hours about your wonderful traits and hair
But the real reason I love you so
Is because you're beautiful on the inside
That is why it makes me wonder why you seem to hide
Behind makeup and pride
Don't you know
That you're enough without all those things
I pray you do, but I know I can't be the one to tell you
I pray you have someone to love for who you are too
I wish it could be me, but I guess that's up to you
So I just needed to write a poem that could say how much I love you
