In the eighteenth year with your love,
But a flash of lightning came along and you were forever gone! !

Nothing Lasts Forever
Scene: flash is on the run and he goes to belle for help.
He sings this song with belle.
Flash: when we were young and green
We shared our dreams together,
And you were my friend.
Belle: we had our good times pal,
We thought theyd last forever.
But nothing lasts forever,
Nothing lasts forever.
Time goes by and people change
Its best we go our separate ways
And it was wrong to think our love would never end
My friend
Nothing lasts forever,
Nothing lasts forever.
Time goes by it takes us all,
Nations crumble and empires fall
And who are we
To think that we would always be,
You see nothing lasts forever,
Nothing lasts forever.
Flash: I know that youll survive
And youll get by whatever.
Though you say goodbye.
My love will never die,
It will last forever.
Your love will die but mine will last forever,
Your love will fade but mine will last forever.
Your feeling might go but mine will last forever.
And though youre gone youre in my mind forever.

Top Down Summer
(eric carmen/dean pitchford)
Wakin up
And the sun is in my eyes
Temperature is rising
Its so hot
Shake it up
I go racing through the streets
Howling in the heat
And you know why
Girls in cars are driving through the city
Breaking hearts, but looking awful pretty
Baby, not so fast
Make the summer last
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here
The top down time of the year
Take your mustang off the blocks
Aint nobody walks when its sooo hot
Me and you
We can ride to town in style
Flash em all a smile
And you know what
Im so high whenever were together
I wish we could feel this way forever
Love is weatherproof
Cmon raise the roof
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here
The top down time of the year
Are we close enough to touch
(baby, let me show you how)
Its too hot to wear too much
(its too late to turn back now)
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here
The top down time of the year
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here
The top down time of the year
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here
The top down time of the year
Top down summer
Are you ready for love?
Top down summer
We can drive to forever tonight
Hey baby, the right times finally here

The Lightning
I am lightning
A light here then gone
I am lightning
A flash quick and strong
I am lightning
My life to short to tell
I am lightning
The ground scorched where I fell
I am lightning
I never strike in twos
I am lightning
I shatter your light's fuse
I am lightning
Destroying what I touch
I am lightning
And I live as such
A storm has come upon me
The lightning I am strong
The rain falls around me
Makes my arc trails long
I fall from the heavens
Crashing to the earth
Though your call it beckons
I cannot stay by hearth
Though the fire warms me
I'm gone to fast to tell
Though the air, it fights me
I ring true the bell
This ground I've hit before
If not here then there
But it is the same ground
If not the same exchange
The moment I can stand
I'm tossed back to the sky
On the ground I'll never be
Not till the day I die

Love You Forever
I love you this year
Ill love you next year
And than forever
Ill always need you
Ill never leave you
Ill love you forever
And if you ever change your mind
Think again and give me time
For youre my first love
You are my last love
Youre my forever
I love this feeling
My heart is beating
A mile a minute
No other woman
Has ever been
So deep inside in it
And when the sun shines on our love
Thats when I thank the lord above
Youre my first love
You are my last love
Youre my beginning
And when the sun shines on our love
Thats when I thank the lord above
Youre my first love
You are my last love
You are my everlasting love
Youre my first love
You are my last love
Youre my forever

Flash's Dream
Scene: mr. black's army is closing in on flash & the spivs.
After a long day's campaigning flash, having overindulged
The alcohol, has fallen asleep in his den.
Voice: cooee. cooee. flash. flash
Flash: who is this?
Voice: wake up flash. can you hear me flash?
Flash: who is this? who dares to wake me from my slumber?
Voice: need i announce myself? am i such a stranger to you?
Flash: say your name. speak!
Voice: i am your soul.
Flash: my soul?
Voice: i have come to show you who you are.
Flash: show me who i am? i know who i am you upstart! how
Dare you intrude.
Voice: you lied and schemed and took over a simple village and
Turned it into a vulgar playground for your own money-
Making ends. before you came people lived simple lives.
This was a happy place. then you ploughed up the fields,
Sold off the land and lined your own pockets with the profits.
Flash: lies! lies! i did it to help the nation
Voice: you did it for your own preservation!
Flash: no! no!
Voice: prepare yourself flash, there are many who suffered at your
Hands. they are craving for vengeance. time is running out.
Flash: can this be the end? can this be the swan song? the final
Elbow? i will not go. the people need me.
Voice: men like you will always come and go, but the people will go
On forever. take one final look at the past flash. enjoy it,
Because you have no future.
Flash: no! no! no! i can't stand this.
Trumpets herald the final confrontation between flash and himself.

Christmas Love
[verse 1:]
Early in the morning
I smell the breakfast
Mamas gone and dressed up the table
I love this time of the year
At a time when I know I should be nothing but thankful
Somethings got me sitting here troubled
And Ive been thinking bout it
And I dont understand
[hook:]
Shouldnt just be at this time of the year
The love that you be showin your
Family and friends should be
Always and forever love
Not just christmas love
Shouldnt just be at this time of year
He gave his life for you
Just to show you his love for you
Always and forever love
Not just christmas love
[verse 2:]
All of the children are outside playin
And all the parents in the house singing
Theres so much joy in the air
But what about yesterday?
And what about tomorrow when the snow melts away?
And what about the other day after?
Will we realize that his love is forever and always?
[repeat hook]
[break:]
What about yesterday?
The day after and the day after that?
Shouldnt just be at this time of year
[hook out]

Flash (Flash's theme)
Flash - Ah - Saviour of the universe
Flash - Ah - He'll save ev'ry one of us
Seemingly there is no reason for these
Extraordinary intergalactical upsets (ha ha ha)
What's happening Flash?
Only Dr Hans Zarkov formerly at N A S A
Has provided any explanation
Flash - Ah - He's a miracle
This mornings unprecedented solar eclipse
Is no cause for alarm
Flash - Ah - King of the impossible
He's for ev'ry one of us
Stand for ev'ry one of us
He'll save with a mighty hand
Ev'ry man ev'ry woman ev'ry child
With a mighty Flash
General Kaka Flash Gordon approaching
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching?
Open fire all weapons
Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body
Flash - Ah
Gordon's alive
Flash - Ah - He'll save ev'ry one of us
Just a man with a man's courage
He knows nothing but a man
But he can never fail
No one but the pure in heart
May find the golden grail oh oh oh oh
Flash Flash I love you
But we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth

January 2010 Haiti
How sad for Port-au-Prince
~~ The Capital of Haiti ~~
A repeat of the destruction
Which took place back in
The eighteenth century
When two similar quakes
Took their toll on Haiti.
We've seen frightening scenes
On today's television screens
And the whole world will say
An impassioned prayer to help
Haiti overcome the despair.

The 2010 Port Fairy Music Festival
We are another year older and time is ticking on
And another Music Festival at Port Fairy has come and has gone
Great entertainment for young and for old and for those in their life's prime
And everyone there seemed to have a good time.
In the 2010 Port Fairy Festival some heavy showers of rain
And after an hour the sun shone out again
But this did not dampen the good fun and cheer
Of the Festival with such a great atmosphere.
In port Fairy close to the great City of Warrnambool
The weather it is mostly warm to cool
It is held on the Labor Day Weekend of the Fall
Where a good time is generally had by all.
It brings to people from far and near such great happiness
The 2010 Port Fairy Music Festival another great success
There's music in the festival arenas and music on the street
Where once a year lovers of music do meet.

Why this date each year
The dawn of this date
The eighteenth March
Drowns me in sadness
As on this day in the year nineteen sixty
My mother, in her early thirties
Left us for heavenly abode
Making me and my sister
Suffer all these years
The lack of mother's love
I did not know that day
How much I missed her
But, as I became a parent
And as I started observing
The demonstration of love
By my wife to our children
I realised that
This day marks the heaviest loss
I could suffer
How I wish that every one
Here on earth
Is fortunate and lucky
To enjoy mother's love
As long as possible
And how I wish that every mother
On this earth
Stays alive and keeps showering
Her love on to her children
As long as possible
You understand as to why I question
Why this date each year

18th Avenue
Well i rode a while, for a mile or so
Down the road to the eighteenth avenue
And the people i saw were the people i know
And they all came down to take a view
Oh the path was dark and borderless
Down the road to the eighteenth avenue
And it stung my tongue to repeat the words
That i used to use only yesterday
Meanings just dropped to the ground
I tried to remember what i thought
And what i used to say
"don't let me go down" no don't let me go
Oh my hands were tied as i struggled inside
The empty waste of another day
Memories were blank to my eyes
The fire and the glory of that night
Seemed safely locked away
Too hungry to rise. too hungry to
Well i rode a while, for a mile or so
Down the road to the eighteenth avenue
And the people i saw were the people i know
And they all came down to take a view
Oh the path was dark and borderless
Down the road to the eighteenth avenue
But my head felt better as i turned the car
And the airport slowly came to view
One mile said the sign
Checked my bags and made it straight to end gate 22
Made it just in time, boy you've made it just in time

My next book is also set in the eighteenth century. It's about the Revolution, with the focus on the year 1776. It's about Washington and the army and the war. It's the nadir, the low point of the United States of America.

Summer And Lightning
I have waited
For your love
For so long
How do I go on?
I have told you
So many times
It's no good
You're treating me so wrong
Out there so far away
Above the sky will say
For you
Here it comes again
It's all around me
It must be magic
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I can see you
In my mind
The lost time
That you're saving
I could reach out
And touch you
What can I do?
The sun ain't shining
Out there so far away
Above the sky will say
For you
Only for you
Here it comes again (summer and lightning)
It's all around me (summer and lightning)
It must be magic (summer and lightning)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Here it comes again
Here it comes again (summer and lightning)
It's all around me (summer and lightning)
It must be magic (summer and lightning)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Here it comes again (summer and lightning)
I can feel it (summer and lightning)
It's all around me (summer and lightning)
Yeah, yeah, yeah

The Power Of God's Love
Love Is Forever Ever-lasting,
Even when we ask God's love,
Love shall forever live for eternity.
Love is Forever Ever-growing,
Even when we growing old,
Love will Grow up within us.
Love is Forever Ever-powerful,
Even when everything else Fails,
Love will push us forward.
Love is Forever Ever-merciful,
Even when we fall into temptation,
Unconditional God's love shall forgive us.
Love is Forever Ever-kindhearted,
Whenever we're down and struggle for life.
God's Love will enlightened us.
Love is forever Helpful and Consoling us,
But Above All Else,
LOVE Always remain within us.
Love of God shall forever
be within You and Me.

The Portal
I hesitantly walked through the portal
As it's light grew, encompassing me,
Not knowing what lay ahead
I was blinded and could not see.
My palms sweaty, my mind racing,
I walked trying to reach the end,
Moving 500 miles a minute
This I did not intend.
Those minutes were precious
The portal started to fade
To where was I heading?
Would I be dismayed?
Scanning for a planet,
A warming star, a cooling night,
I soared through the heavens
searching for the finite.
I was the vortex of time
The portal was sealed,
At the core of the rift
I was the infinite shield.
Where would I be to this day?
If I had not followed through
The lore of the portal
Not knowing whether to pursue.

A Faithful Witness
To the firstborn of Yahseph,
Of all that is created;
To the secondborn of Yahseph,
Do set set your mind on Mount Zion;
For His name is His glory and,
Of the economic well-being.
Of the year of the rat,
Of the year of the dog,
Of the year of the cow,
Of the year of the bull,
Of the year of the sheep,
Of the year of the dragon,
Of the year of the snake,
Of the year of the pig,
Of the year of the goat,
Of the year of the lizard,
Of the year of the crocodile,
Of the year of the elephant,
Of the year of the scorpion,
Of the year of the turtle,
Of the year of the fish,
Of the year of the earth,
Of the year of the wind,
Of the year of the fire,
Of the year of the water,
And of the year of the bush!
Like the firstborns of slaves.
The hips of romance,
The faithful witness will not lie;
The same day,
The same night,
Of the love shared at where no oxen are;
And the crib was very clean.
