Dirty Dancing

Videotaping,
Sexual escapades,
Fornication,
Dirty dancing,
Emerging from dark bedrooms!
And like the wine of her fornication,
But i saw the woman sitting on scarlet coloured beast full of names of blasphemy.

She has seven heads and ten horns,
With sodomites in the land and of male prostitutes as well;
But the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colours!
Also decked with gold, pearls and precious stones;
And having a cup in her hand full of abomination! !
But the filthiness of her fornication was enjoyed by many who were dancing around her.

Decked With Gold

The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colours,
Decked with gold, pearls and precious stones!
But she was worried about the things to come.
Like she who sits on the seven mountains in Rome,
She is desolate and naked after war!
And her desire is with many to make a difference.

Of the wine of her fornications,
Of the beer of her adulteries,
It was very pleasant to the eyes and desirable as food;
But like the work and the care of her lover,
She is always decked with gold.
Of the peace that eludes her,
At the same time of war with mankind;
But when she is dead and gone,
Others will still hope and dream of her.

Bible in Poetry: Revelation 17

The Woman and the Beast:

1One angel who had the bowl, then
Came to me and said, 'Come on please,
I will show you the punishment
Of the great prostitute, who sits
On many waters of the earth.
2With her the kings of the earth had
Committed adultery and
The inhabitants of the earth
Became intoxicated with
The wine of her adulteries.'
3The angel carried me away
In the Spirit to a desert.
I saw a woman sitting on
A scarlet beast that was covered
With blasphemous names all over,
And had heads seven, and ten horns.
4The woman dressed in purple, scarlet,
Glittered with jewels that she wore,
Of gold and precious stones and pearls.
She held a golden cup in hand,
Filled with things abominable
And filth of her adulteries.

5 Her forehead had this title writ:

‘MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF ALL PROSTITUTES,
AND OF EARTH’S ABOMINATIONS.’
6 The woman was drunk with the blood
Of saints, the blood of those who bore
Testimony to Jesus Christ.
When I saw, I was astonished
7The angel asked me: 'Why are you?
I’ll explain the woman’s mystery
And of the beast she rides upon,
Which has seven heads and ten horns.
8The beast, you saw, once was, now isn’t,
Will come up out of the Abyss,
And go to his destruction then.
The earth’s inhabitants whose names
Have not been writ in Book of Life,
From time of creation of world
Will astonished be, seeing beast,
Because he once was and will come.
9'This calls for mind for great wisdom.
The seven heads are seven hills,
On which is seated the woman.
10They also are earth’s seven kings.
Five have fallen, one is, and last,
Hasn’t yet come, but when he does come,
He must remain for just awhile.
11The beast who once was, and now isn’t,
Is eighth, belonging to seven
Kings, going to destruction.
12 'The ten horns you saw are ten kings
Who haven’t received a kingdom yet,
But will for one hour receive pow’r,
As kings along with the great beast.
13They have one purpose and so will
Give their authority to beast.
14They’ll war against the Lamb of God,
But the Lamb of God will o’ercome
Them, because he is the Lord of lords
And King of kings of universe—
With Him will be his called, chosen
And faithful followers of Christ.'
15The angel told me, 'The waters
You saw, where the prostitute sits,
Are peoples, nations, languages.
16The beast with ten horns that you saw
Will hate the prostitute strongly.
They will bring her to ruin and leave
Her naked; and consume her flesh
And burn her with fire later.
17For God has put it into their hearts
To accomplish his purpose by
Giving the beast their pow’r to rule,
Till God’s words fully are fulfilled.
18 The woman is the great city
That rules over the kings of earth.'

Taken In My Act

Born of fornication,
Born of adultery,
Taken in the very act of love to teach mankind.

Of men looking like trees and,
The leaven of King Herod;
Come from the tomb and live among the living.

Of women looking like fruits and,
Above the reach of man in a high mountain;
But do come out from the dead and live among human.

To understand this parable needs a thought,
To understand this poem needs a muse,
For the seed you plant is the very harvest you do expect;
Like things seen and heard in times of war.

What type of man are you?
What kind of woman are you?
For a seed is shaken by the wind;
And many are born in fornication and adultery already.

I am taken in my act and you are taken in your acts too,
But there are many stories of man on this earth;
And one day, we all need to be put in order!

The merchandise of pearls in the land of pearls,
The merchandise of silk in the land of wool,

The merchandise of scented wood in the land of timber,

Kiss Of Life

See me a big woman, big woman look how you dance
See me a big woman, big woman caught in a trance
Dancing on the tabletop, covered up with the easter feast
Youre dancing for the fishermen, from the very large right
To the least
Dancing for the slow release, first the boy and then the beast
Then the beast
Burning, buring with the kiss of life
Burning, buring with the kiss of life
See me, a big woman, big woman so full of life
See me, a big woman, big woman going to be my wife
Watching for the different eyes - they change your face -
They come inside
Watch the spirits laugh and cry, watch them find a place
To hide
Watch the spirits talk in tongues, watch them take you for
A ride
Down at the ocean lies a body in the sand
Big woman sits beside, head in hand
With heat from her skin, and fire from her breath
She blows hard, she slows deep in the mouth of death
Burning, burning with the kiss of life
Burning, burning with the kiss of life
Burning, burning with the kiss of life

A Logical Song, A Reply - Parody

Why, Jack, though attractive your rhyme,
there’s no conflict – temptation and fear
disappear when one has a good time –
with oneself, - subject/object my Dear!

Although beauty with age fades away,
one may still seize the joystick to buoy
and re-use it by night and by day,
so, pray, what’s the use of a boy?

I may add, Jack, with jacking to toy
is a sport each may teach in her way,
fornication’s no fun to enjoy
if before play one can’t reach “olé! ”

The debate’s not half mast, you can climb
up to Venus, from f[r]ont or from rear,
fornication’s too often false mime –
so, Jack! – have I made myself clear?

© Jonathan Robin – Parody written 7 April 2002 Original Author Unknown – A Logical Song

A Logical Song

Why, Chloe, thus squander your prime,
In debate between fear and temptation?
If adulterous love be a crime,
Why quarrel with plain fornication?

But your beauties with age you may lose:
Then seize the short moment of joy!
If not – then with confidence use,
What by using you cannot destroy.

Festivate Fornication

For festive fornication give me wine,
apart from which all I require now
is holding both your melon breasts in mine,
and time, at least as much as you'll allow.
Strait is the gait for sinners but for lovers
it's wide, but if you want me to be frisky,
lie patiently for me between your covers
until I've fortified myself with whisky,
plus some Cialis to make sure I don’t
end up this evening with a beg-your-pardon,
in case precautions such as these ones won’t,
despite your wine and breasts, cause me to harden.
Lie patiently, I said, but tell the truth,
I want to hear the magic words, I love you,
Then pull on me as dentists do a tooth
to fill your cavity when I’m above you.

Inspired by Marc Porter-Zasada's response to my poem “Oh Mistress Mine”:

Ah, more of Gershon's 'The Couplet's Guide to Sex.' I say:

If only other poets weren't so coy with words,
And sang, on the whole, less tediously sweet of bees and birds.
If only they would broadcast clearer inspiration
To shy lovers, husbands, and wives.
I mean surely, they could improve our lives
With tips for better rhymed and more festive fornication.

Souls Of Men And Women

Gold, silver, and precious stones!
Pearls, fine linen and purple;
Silk, scarlet and scented woods!
Ivory, brass and iron;
Precious wood, marble and cinnamon!
Incense, fragrant ointment and frankincense;
Wheat, cattle and sheep! !
Horses, chariots and slaves;
The souls of men and women are here to stay,
But, who the cap fits, must always wear it.

Much ado

The one who indulges in fornication
Indoor
Is still a chaste woman outdoor.
The one who indulges in courtship
outdoor
is branded unchaste to one and all.

Much ado about nothing;
Little ado about hidden things.

My Bluesy Chair

This is the chair I use when my heads not there,
and when I feel low, and touching despair.
When I think about my schooldays and departed friends,
and when I was good looking, and enjoyed weekends.

Hey man, I could pull in those days, of long hot nights,
dancing and romancing, beneath coloured lights.
I worked hard during the day before going out on the town,
and took my chances on life’s merry-go-round.

I was a real bad boy as far as the ladies are concerned,
I was the envy of the guys who never seemed to learn.
A man and a woman are just like a guitarist and guitar,
and no strings means a relationship can only go so far.

Now I’m alone, washed out, and sitting in my bluesy chair,
regretting that time ran out of finding a love that wasn’t there.
I guess I still miss that red-hot woman that I nearly married,
but unfortunately she died when she miscarried.

Scarlet Ribbons

I peeked in to say good-night,
When I heard my child in prayer.
And for me some scarlet ribbons,
Scarlet ribbons for my hair.
All the stores were closed and shuttered,
All the streets were dark and bare.
In our town no scarlet ribbons,
Not one ribbon for her hair.
Thru the night my heart was aching,
Just before the dawn was breaking.
I peeked in and on her bed,
In gay profusion lying there,
Lovely ribbons, scarlet ribbons,
Scarlet ribbons for her hair.
If I live to be a hundred,
I will never know from where.
Came those lovely scarlet ribbons,
Scarlet ribbons for her hair.
Scarlet ribbons- theres magic in the air,
Scarlet, scarlet ribbons for her hair.

A Full Figured Woman.....

A full figured woman
who is full of love
a woman who tries to fit in
and tries to show emotion
but can never do none of the above.

A full figured woman
who is full of peace
but no man wants to touch her
as if she's some type of disease.

A full figured woman
who puts her self down
who smiles in the crowd
who hurts her sense of worth
when no one's around.

A full figured woman
yes, thats me
i am all the woman i need to be
from the curl of my lips
to the curves in my hips.

Yes, i am a full figured woman
who is tired of being judged
but i will never be ashamed
for having more than one pudge!

The Women

This world is, because of the woman
this universe is, because of the woman
nothing exists without the woman
our existence is, because of the woman.

Why being a woman then
should be humiliation?
Why a woman then
should face indignation?
always the woman becomes the prey...?
always the woman has no say.....?

The woman is a mother, also a mother–in-law
the woman is a sister, also a sister-in-law
the woman has many roles to play
a daughter-in-law perfects that night & day.

Why then a woman does
torture another woman?
Why does a ma-in-law
torches a daughter in-law?
Why does a woman destroy another’s world?
Why does jealousy overcomes a sister-in-law?

In the woman, power is manifest,
yet she is unaware and that is a jest.
she becomes Durga when in rage
telling everyone, she is no sage
the woman is where, awakening is there
her absence creates crematoriums everywhere.

Why do then a woman abhor the birth of a female?
Wants a child, whose gender is male?
the male is indebted to her for the courage and life
yet no rewards for the woman, her entire life.

This is the story of the woman, full of anguish
Plight of a woman is because of another’s wish
Exploitation of the woman could not have taken place
Had a woman given the other a little more space.

~ The dancing woman ~

~

You are like the shadows that hover over me,
will you ever be mine to a dancing spree,
when you walk pass my way,
I start to tremble and marvel so I pray,
will your eyes ever capture me,
so i can admire and yet to see,

You dance like no other,
so some men dont even bother,
I often wonder, when will it be my turn,
so my heart sometimes i feel it burn,
You are the woman in my dreams,
I think some men might often deem,

You are a virturous woman in your own unique dance,
when will I ever trust to enhance,
I am so feeble and weak from your look,
look it how long it took,
you dance like the uniqueness of a magical stick,
how i wish I would of been so confindent as rick,

When you dance a hive of men incline to you,
that i know your dance is so true,
You are my dancing woman of the night,
wont you look my way and consider me tonight,
You are the dancing woman.

Don't Bring Me Down

Pay the rent, make the dent
Break the routine, smell the stench
Take the pill, just for thrills
Sitting on your silk screen beds
Taste the dirt of a world
Full of violence and regrets
Take a bite out of life
Don't bring me down (Down, down, down, down...)
Don't bring me down
Don't bring me down
Don't bring me down
Turn your back, get in sack
Twisted faces, heart attacks
Suicide, selfish pride
Fornication, broken lives
Ecstasy, casualty
Peace of mind, wipe it clean
Take a bite out of life
Don't bring me down (Down, down, down, down...)
Don't bring me down
Don't bring me down
Don't bring me down
Down, down
Down, down
Down, down
Down, down...
mmm, mmm
mmm, mmm...
