Show Me!
I would rather see a Mason, than hear one any day,
I would rather one would walk with me than merely show the way.
The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear,
Fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear.
And the best of all the Masons are the men who live their creeds,
For to see the good in action is what everybody needs.
I can soon learn how to do it if you'll let me see it done,
I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lectures you deliver may be wise and true,
But I'd rather get my lesson by observing what you do.
For I may misunderstand you and the high advice you give,
But there's no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.

Good Advice
Open the window I need some air
So many people and theres such disorder here
Familiar faces found out lies
Turn to the street now I watch the passers by
I wonder what they recognize
And what theyd recommend to fill my days
Possessions start to wear me down
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Instead they harbor secret thoughts
They break through windows that have twice been locked
I have to walk to wear me out
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
I throw my arms and pray to leave
I gotta head for love like is inside me
My lips press tight so not to drown
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Im nervous
Give me some good advice to wear me down

Reaction To Action
(spoken: check 1, 1, 1)
Alright
Its hard getting through to me
Im truly elusive
I got my own point of view
I am the one of a kind
And I tell you lil girl
Im fascinated by you
Theres something about you
That makes all the difference
Like the night is to day
Well I can get along without you
But I know that within you
Youve got what Im missing
And Ill find a way
To get reaction to action
Hey, say the word that would thrill me
Yeah, I need reaction to action
Just one look that would kill me
You got a way of drawing attention to you
You know you stand out in a crowd
But the way that you play
With any mans affections
Should never be allowed
See I consider myself
The one who will show you
Id go as far as to say
Girl, I aint leaving here without you
But you better understand
Theres only one rule in this game were gonna play
And thats reaction to action
Maybe like a word that would thrill me
I need reaction to action
One look that would kill me
Give me reaction to action
Its getting late Id better make a definite move
Reaction to action
And after that baby, its up to you
I need reaction to action
Just a word that would thrill me
I need reaction to action
You know what Im talking about
Give me some reaction to action
You got a look, you got a way thatll kill me
Reaction to action, reaction to action, action
Baby, dont think about it, just react
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action

Simpleton
Its built,
up inside.
Youre on,
the verge of exploding.
Self less,
enough to say.
I meant what I said,
and Im not even sorry.
What is to get?
Its simple now.
Cut to the quick.
No misunderstanding.
You sit there,
on your side.
Dont blame yourself,
blame it on your family.
Self less,
enough to tell.
If you walk away,
then Im not running after.
What is to get?
Its simple now.
Cut to the quick.
Dont misunderstand.
I know you hate him,
cause you said you did.
How can you fake it?
Its some misunderstanding.
Inside, your delivered from the stress.
You say that your fine,
but I think youre wishing.
What is to get?
Its simple now.
Cut to the quick.
Dont misunderstand.
Dont misunderstand.
Dont misunderstand

Verb: That's What's Happening
I get my thing in action
To be, to see, to feel, to live
And i put my heart in action
To run, to go, to get, to give
'cause that's where i find satisfaction
To search, to find, to have, to hold
When i use my imagination
I think, i plot, i plan, i dream
Turning in towards creation
Well i make, i write, i dance, i sing
'cause i get my thing in action
Yeah i get my thing in action
Go!
When i'm feeling really active
Well i run, i ride, i swim, i fly!
Other times when life is easy
Oh i rest, i sleep, i sit, i lie
I can take a noun and bend it
Make it a verb and really send it!
'cause i get my thing in action
And i don't know my own power
I can question; like what is it?
I can order; like go get it!
When i need i really need it
When i see i got to have it
'cause i put my thing in action
Yeah i put my thing in action
Yeah i get my thing in action
And i don't even know my power
No!

I Came To Learn
I came to learn about Love and I learned
that we are Love in action.
I came to learn about Courage and I
discovered that we are Courage in action.
I came to learn about Truth and I now
realize that we are Truth in action.
I came to learn about Compassion and I
now understand that we are Compassion in
action.
I came to learn about Life and I now know
that we are Life in action.
I came to learn about God and I am
convinced that we are God in action.

Mama
Mama
Please be good, please be good to me
Mama
Please be good, please be good to me
Mama
Hovering over me at night
Mama
Comfort me, make me feel all right
I walk alone and see what boys should never
See in their lifetime
I live in the world of spirits
And I talk to the walls
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
Mama
Come and take, come and take my hand
Mama
Try and see, try to understand
Mama
Looking through, looking through my eyes
Mama
Everywhere, always in disguise
I walk alone and see what boys should never
See in their lifetime
I live in the world of spirits
And I talk to the walls
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
Mama
Please be good, please be good to me
Mama
Please be good, please be good to me
I walk alone and see what boys should never see
I hear what boys should never hear
In their lifetime
I live in the world of spirits
And I talk to the walls
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
This little hell
Deliver me from
Mama
Please be good . . .

You Must Get Even Closer
Open your eyes.
Rise above your fears.
That faith 'claimed' you have...
It is time to put it into action.
Sever from your distractions.
God has been close...
Observing you and is near.
There is no deed done,
That God does not know.
The Almighty wishes to show this to you.
But from your own limitations...
You must let go!
You must not self inflict restrictions,
Placed upon your mind.
Now is the perfect time to bare your soul.
Ask God to release you,
From burdens you have welcomed into your life.
And gossiped by others...
This too they did find!
Choose not to walk down this path with others.
Open your eyes.
Rise above your fears.
That faith 'claimed' you have...
It is time to put it into action.
Sever from your distractions.
God has been close...
Observing you and is near.
But you must get even closer!
To know and hear His voice.

Action This Day
Action
This street honey is a mean street
Living in thsi street honey needsa a mean
Streak
Weve got criminals living in this street
But theres a heartbeet pulse that keeps on
Pumping
Like a jukebox playing the same dead record
Or a radio in the corner keeps blaring
I gotta feeling, this world is using me
This town honey is a dead town
Living in this town honey is a showdown
But theres a heartbeat pulse that keep in
Pumping
Some sunshine ray through a crack in a
Shutter
Or a sight of a light at
The end of a tunnel
Still theres a feeling, this world is using me
Action this day
Action this night
Weve gotta learn to learn to live to love
You cant say it aint right
Action this day
Action this night
Youve got the power, youve got the power
Youve got the power to love and to live
You cant say it aint right
Your mind honey is a bleak place
Living in your minds living in a bleak place
Your mind is coming from a rat racce
But theres a heartbeet pulse that keeps on
Pumping
Like a jukebox playing the same dead record
Or a radio in the corner keeps blaring
I gotta feeling that just wont quit, this
World is using me
Action this day
Action this night
Weve gotta learn to learn to live to love
We cant say it aint right
Action this day
Action this night
Youve got the power, youve got the power
Youve got the power to love, to live
You cant say it aint right
Action
Action this day

Good action
Good action boost
Not dampened
Good action has
No retrograde approach.
It is you only
Who can say
Which action is good
And which action is bad
After the result received.

Piece Of Your Action
(1)
I want you, i need you
I want you to be mine tonight
You need me, you tease me
Use you up, throw you away
You're fire, taking me higher
Don't burn me, don't let me down
You need me now, i'll teach you how
Come on and go all the way
(chorus)
Get a piece of your action
Ah uh
Get a piece of your action
Ah uh
(2)
Tight action, rear traction
So hot, you really blow me away
Fast moving, wet and ready
The time is right, so hold on tight
Live wire, night prowler
Lay back and take me inside
You need me now, i'll teach you how
Come on let's go all the way
(chorus)(1)(chorus)

Masons Children
Mason died on monday, we bricked him in the wall
All his children grew and grew, they aint never grown so tall before
They may never grow so tall again
We dug him up on tuesday, he hardly aged a day
Taught us all we ever knew, we aint never known so much before
We may never know so much again
The wall collapsed on wednesday, we chalked it up to fate
Masons children ran and flew, they aint never run so fast before
Swore theyd never show their face again
Mason was a mighty man, a mighty man was he
Always said when Im dead Im gone, dont you weep for me
Thursday came then friday, with buyers tall and bright
Masons children cooked the stew and cleaned up when the feast was through
Take me to the repo-man to pay back what is owed
If hes in some other land write it off as stole

Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.

I Am Made For You
I came a long way
From out of nowhere
I stand before you
All alone
Like a wolf's cry in the distance
I heard the calling
Of your soul
Oh...I hear you cryin'
CHORUS
With your love
Show me how to live
'Cause you are made of me
And I am made of you
With your life
Show me how to give
You are made of me
And I am made of you
We'll walk together
Though the fire
Though the darkness
To the sun
Like two raging rivers full of passion
At the ocean
We are one
Oh...I hear you cryin'
REPEAT CHORUS
I am made of you
You are made of me
And everything you are
Is what I'm meant to be
I am made of you
You are made of me
And everything I am
Is what you made of me
Oh...I hear you crying
Oh...Through the darkness
To the light
With your love
Show me how to live
'Cause you are made of me
And I am made of you
With your life
Show me how to give
You are made of me
With your heart
Show me what is true
'Cause you are made of me
And I am made of you
With your soul
Walk my spirit through
You are made of me
And I am made of you
Oh...I hear you crying
Through the darkness
To the light...

Last Call
Caught in a strugle
With your back against the wall
You saw it coming and you all must heed the call
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The clock is ticking and it's moving fast
Can we move on or are we victims of the past
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Racism flourished and it's stronger than before
People are fighting in another local war
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The hate must stop and the war must cease
To make this world a place to live we must have peace
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Think before you act...
Before it's too late...

Minor Action
Zero action is the minor rock,
The mines of a land are dangerous;
Then act too fast so that you empty me,
Made by the hands of god, the religion is final.
The acts of a man are like the rigid jokes
Of a robot, and they mutter like the future.
Mattering is for the patience of a generation
Who act in the ways of men and women who fight.
The zero action shall be met with binary disorder,
A hastening is to be expected and lunch is served.
May the forces of the knight of action be upon me.

The link between ideas and action is rarely direct. There is almost always an intermediate step in which the idea is overcome. De Tocqueville points out that it is at times when passions start to govern human affairs that ideas are most obviously translated into political action. The translation of ideas into action is usually in the hands of people least likely to follow rational motives. Hence, it is that action is often the nemesis of ideas, and sometimes of the men who formulate them. One of the marks of the truly vigorous society is the ability to dispense with passion as a midwife of action - the ability to pass directly from thought to action.

Live
Clear out your mind
Look to your past and see what you can find
Stole soul afraid
Of the prophets perfect picture falls away
Is this the life that we choose to live
Or is this the life that has been giving
Now is the time to see what my life should be
What is mine!?
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
It's a timeless rage
For many people praying to be saved
Truth is so strong
It needs lights to guide it so it can carry on
I've seen blood on my hands
Am I dead or is this where it begins
I feel the shame
For my friend who put a bullet in his brain!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!

We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!

I prefer that animation reach into places where live action doesn't go, and it seems like all of animation nowadays is trying to go where live action is.
I Want Action
I want action tonight
Satisfaction all night
I grab my hat and i
Grab my shoes
Tonight Im gonna hit
The streets and cruise
Down the main strip and
Check it out
With those schoolgirls
A hangin around
Now Im a sucker for a pretty face
I dont care if shes in leather or lace
Cause Im just lookin for a little kiss
Chorus:
I want action tonight
Satisfaction all night
Youve got the love I need tonight
Long legs and short skirts
These girls hit me where it hurts
I cant wait to get my hands on them
I wont give up until they give in
Now Im not lookin for a love that lasts
I need a shot and I need it fast
If I cant have her, Ill take her and make her
Chorus, solo
Hey, sweetheart, slide on in here
No, not in the front, jump in the back
Why?
Cause theres something back there I want to show ya
I want action tonight
Satisfaction all night
Ah, come on honey, I wasnt that bad!
Oh, well
Chorus out
