We stood at the sea on a winter day
We stood at the sea on a winter day,
the waves were grey
as if made from steel
and rain was sifting from the sky
with bleak clouds covering the sun
as if it would not shine for months to come
and I felt almost lifeless
when your eyes avoided mine
roving away to the distant bay
and somehow I had lost the thing
that brought the magic to us
and the spark in the touch,
your voice and eye was gone
and my legs felt like lead.
We stood at the sea on a winter day
and the sun was cursed away,
our love was dead
and I learnt how easy love could deceive
and the pain shaped me
into someone else.

Started As A Seed
My love for you started only as a seed when I first look upon your beauty.
Now my love has grown as strong and tall as a mighty redwood tree. I loose my breath each time I look upon your beauty, And how your beauty touches my heart and soul. Your beauty warms my heart like the sun on a cold winters day. I know God truly loves beautiful things. For out of his heart and with his might hands he made you. My Greatest Love
I first fell in love when I was young in grade school
With nature whose magic and beauty was all around
Like a butterfly to the flowers I was drawn
Oh, the joy I felt, the joy I felt, the purest I’ve ever found.
In high school, in my mid-teen, I fell in love
With a girl whose beauty could captivate all men
Thoughts of her filled my mind everyday, every night
Oh, the joy I felt, the joy I felt was heaven.
This love was intense, and music made it more so even
Love songs and music I search the radio through the nights
‘Till I discovered the classics, the symphonies of Beethoven
Oh, the joy I felt, the joy I felt was the ultimate pleasure.
In my late teen, after much reading, thinking; the human mind
The most mysterious, complex thing; I was awed and fell in love
I couldn’t imagine the infiniteness of its wonder and beauty
Oh, the joy I felt, the joy I felt must have come from above.
Soon all this led to my greatest love before I was twenty
Since then for decades, my mind, my thoughts it’s occupied
But where is the joy I must have reaped for loving this Humanity?
Why have I instead been getting pain, sorrow and bitterness?

My Search For Beauty
I went in search of beauty
and with feeling looked around,
I noticed much in my path
where beauty could be found.
It went above human appearance
and feelings that run deep,
it wasn't just in my dreams
when I got my beauty sleep.
The beauty was felt inside
in a divine and blessed way,
it was in the growing flowers
and the nice things that we say.
I found beauty in the sunshine
and in the clouds up high,
the rain that fell upon the earth
and the lightning in the sky.
It twinkled in the stars at night
and the moon at every phase,
righteousness and gratitude
showed beauty in other ways.
It appeared in the shadows
and the kindness that we share,
I found that beauty was hiding
and some didn't see it there.
Beauty is in good memories
and times spent with a friend,
there are signs of beauty
in the messages we send.
Beauty is seen differently
for some it's in disguise,
but we cannot see true beauty
through another person's eyes.

beauty is the beast
upon our souls and hearts it feasts
it makes us blind to itself
behind innocent smiles it hides in stealth
yet in every place where beauty lies
the angels breath out their gentle sighs
its iron strength conquers our hearts by storm

Iris
You are so beautiful.
Look how detailed you are…
Iris galaxy surrounding the core.
