Said - Unsaid
I was tense
She was not picking
The phone
Since last two days
I decided
May what happen?
I shall keep on calling
I did the same
In all nervousness
Anxiously kept dialing
Ultimately
She responded to
My call
How are you?
I hope all is well
Why you did not
Pick the phone?
Without taking a break
I shot volley of
Questions at her
“I am O.K “
In a sad tone
Was her reply
My anxiety increased
I kept on asking
Again and again
Tell me the truth
Till she started
Sobbing
“Nobody cares”
She ultimately said
“I care”
Was my reply
No, ”I mean”
Those
Who are supposed to?
She said
I will do anything for you
To keep you smiling
I replied
In a desperate voice
She started saying
Those who care
&
Should be nearer
Are far away
Those who are closer
Do not bother
Why god does like this?
She busted out crying
With
Phone near my ears
My eyes wet
I kept on listening

CP- To Mader
So one night it was dark and I couldn’t see,
I picked up my phone no one to disagree.
I was in possession of a beautiful phone,
Even though the phone was of a girlie tone.
I started checking my message to find out,
That maybe this isn’t my phone – hmm doubt.
But could this be the phone of my eye candy,
Maybe she could be unmarried and change her name to Sandy.
Hmm the possibilities of the owner of the stolen phone,
Oh goodness maybe I should watch my tone.
I return the untouchable phone back to her,
“I thought it was my phone” I said in transfer.
Oh the purple phone that was like mine,
Oh purple phone oh purple phone I let out a sigh….

No reply
Is a sign
That no one's there
And no one cares
Enough to
Reply
With a sigh
Or a word
Or two
A lack of reply
Is a sign
That you
And you
Are alone
In the world
In your room
In the street where you walk
Unheard
No
no one is listening to you
Why?
You still ask
'Is there no reply? '
But nobody answers
The phone line appears to be engaged
For the hundreth time
'Wrong number? , '
You say to yourself
So you text and flex your fingers on your keys
Sending a thousand Sos's to a world that has blocked it's ears
No one hears,
Or cares
And so unheard
You leave in silence
Your letters will soon arrive in the post
'Returned to sender! '

Scared
I was fine, happy and enjoying
Till from ur number my phone started ringing
My heart then beat fast, cold felling came
Found myself in darkness, hands and leg shake
I was in dilemma, scared, dark, pale I became
I had always loved you wanted to pick da phone
As it had really been long since we talked or you called last
I was scared to pick phone, cause I remembered pain u gave me in past..

The 'Poem A Day' Project - Day 16
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’m feeling all alone
I can’t connect with my friends out there
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I miss its ringing tone
I’ve searched for it everywhere
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I cannot roam
I must stay near in case it rings
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I do not wish to moan
It has numbers, dates and all kinds of things
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I guess I’m prone
To wander like a lost zombie
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve no mind of my own
Without it there to organise me
I’ve lost my mobile phone

Pain Of Existence Without.....
It was pain of existence without your phone calls.....
This pain was not related to time, as time moved on.....
but the pain remained, pain and more pain....
without a phone call from you........
Time started moving, but there was no phone call, , , , , ,
I was lost with the acute awareness of this great pain.....
pain and more pain......
I wish I could tell you how much your phone calls mean to me, , , , ,
what if we have not met, what if we have not seen each other
but dear your phone call is what makes me pull through my day....
your voice is a magic to me, it is music to my ears....
but dear you never called.... and the pain remains...
The pain reminds me of the wonderful times we had....
the long phone calls.... your voice, your silence, , your moans
all this was so wonderful, which meant so much to me....
but dear you never called........
come back and call me dear...... and tell me how much I mean to you
call me once my love........
I wait for your magic voice, for all wonderful things you tell me....
for all the beautiful moments over phone we had.......
I wait with great pain, pain and pain.....
Just to hear you..... or get a message from you
Your messages are my breakfast, my dinner, , , ,
I sleep thinking of you hearing you, reading you...
I wake up to read your message..........
But dear you never called you never messaged....
come back just once my love come back
I just want to tell how much I miss your voice.............
Had To Phone Ya
Had to phone ya
Had to phone ya just to talk to you
Had to phone ya just to tell ya I was missing you
It lifts my spirits every single time
Sometimes youre busy for awhile
But when you get through
It makes me smile
A-when I phone ya
Californias not so far away
Youre not alone ya know Im only just a dial away
I visualize that youre looking fine
Feels so good when you come on the line
You (you) you (you) you (you) you (you)
You (you) you (you) you (you) you (you)
You (you) you (you) you (you) you (you)
You (you) you (you) you (you)
Come on
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(I hope your home)
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(I hope your home)
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(I hope your home)
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(I hope your home)
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(I hope your home)
Come on and answer the phone
Come on come on
(hello, hey brian!)
(I hope your home)

I Hate My Phone
Have you ever had a phone?
That you couldn’t stand?
If you have, you are not alone.
My phone doesn’t like to follow my command!
My phone hates me!
I hate it!
I would love to throw it in the sea,
But, my life would be gone I have to admit!
I hate my phone!
What can I do?
If only another one I could own.
Another phone I need, but it should be new.
If I get a new phone it will need,
A camera that pictures and video it takes,
Unlimited texting is what we agreed.
I have no time for mistakes!
Also, I would need free long distance,
In case there is someone I want to call that is not where I am,
No, I don’t need any assistance.
For my new phone, all I have to say is DANG!
My new phone will be the envy of everyone,
Everyone will want mine,
To bad that they don’t get it, I’m the only one,
There is no need to whine!
Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean!
That’s what they’ll be saying!
I and my phone will be all the rage and commotion!
Everyone will be around me and no, nobody will be playing!
I hate my phone,
I need a new one,
I know I’m not alone,
To have the greatest and newest phone would be fun!
Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean! ! ! !
I still hate my phone!
Ha, this poem is long because of a motion!
Ha, I got many problems, luckily I’m not alone!
I Hate My Phone! ! !

U Don't Know Me (Like U Used To)
How could you lie to me
After all we've been through
It's just so sad to see me in love with you
I gave you all of me
But still it wasn't enough for you
Is this how love's supposed to be
Now I'm tryin' to get over you
You ain't missin' me at all
You won't pick up the phone and call
You don't love me
Like you used to
Tell me what is going on
You get me standin' here alone
You don't know me
Like you used to
Remember what you said
When you stepped up on the scene
You get into my head
Had me stressin' like a feen
No I just can't forget
How you put that thing on me
I wish we'd never me
This way I won't be lonely
You ain't missin' me at all
You won't pick up the phone and call
You don't love me
Like you used to
Tell me what is going on
You get me standin' here alone
You don't know me
Like you used to
You don't know me
Know me like you used to
You don't know me
You ain't missin' me at all
You won't pick up the phone and call
You don't love me
Like you used to
Tell me what is going on
You get me standin' here alone
You don't know me
Like you used to

No More Lies
Everything
Everything reminds me
Easily
You walking out so easily
No goodbyes
Not even a tear for me
Now you cry
Youd like to have my company
But Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone
No more lies
I dont need this anymore
Ive heard it all
Now Im gonna close the door
Seems to me
Nothing comes that easily
Time to leave
Youll take it all and run from me
But Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone
Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone
But Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone
Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone
But Im not gonna call you again
Im not gonna pick up the phone
No Im not going through it again
Youre not gonna leave me alone

She Mannequin
Pefect girl - visit me in your dreams
Run away with me tonight
This lasts forever all it seems
That your not real to me
I don't care
Chrystal clear - I see your face
And I know you see me too
You look at me
My heart is race
Not even real yet
I fall for you
Do you seem so real to me
Just my dream - my fantasy
Mean nothing it all
A vision in my mind
I don't care
I don't know
I don't care
The lights are off when we're alone
(Yes, we were talking on the phone)
I'm still asleep kickin' in my sheets, yeah.
The lights are off when we're alone
(Yes, we were talking on the phone)
I'm still asleep kickin' in my sheets
For you
Waited for you
You never came
Lying away alone in bed
Yet you have changed
I'm still the same
Your promises were in my head
Do you seem so real to me
I couldn't see
Nothing it all
A vision in my mind
I don't care
I don't know
I don't care
The lights are off when we're alone
(Yes, we were talking on the phone)
I'm still asleep kickin' in my sheets, yeah
The lights are off when we're alone
(Yes, we were talking on the phone)
I'm still asleep kickin' in my sheets
For you
And only you
The lights are off when we're alone
(Wish we were talking on the phone)
The lights are off when we're alone
(Wish we were talking on the phone)
The lights are off
The lights are off
The lights are off when we're alone
(Wish we were talking on the phone)
Please turn the lights on
The lights are off when we're alone
(Wish were talking on the phone)
I'm still asleep kickin' in my sheets, yeah
The lights are off when we're alone
(Yes, we were talking on the phone)
The lights are off
The lights are off
The lights are off when we're alone
(Wish we were talking on the phone)
Please turn the lights on

A Thing About You
I pick up the phone, Im dialing your number
While I pray youre at home, at home and alone
cause I cant function on my own
And Ill never stop believing
The reapwork is done. you are the one
The radio is on but sound is all gone
And I wanna walk out in the sun
But lately thats been very hard to do
Ive got a thing about you
And I dont really know what you do
cause Ive got a thing about you, hey you
I pick up the phone, Im dailing that number
And my heart like a stone waits for the tone.
Oh, I cant make it on my own,
And Ill never stop believing.
I know what is right and this is so wrong
Alone in my bed, better off on my own
The tv is on, but the colours are gone
And lately youve been painting my world blue
Ive got a thing about you
(Ive got a thing about you)
And I dont really care what you do
Ive got a thing about you
(Ive got a thing about you)
Hey you
Ive got a thing about you
Ive got a thing about you-ou-ou-ou
Lately youve been painting my world blue
Ive got a thing about you...
Ive got a thing about you...
And I dont really know what to do

Renda Writer - The Other Line
I saw a man
Fishing
Off the side of the pier
Fishing for a fish
And then...
His cell phone rang
He picked it up
And began talking
Cell phone in one hand
Fishing pole in the other
And then...
The tip of his pole
Started bending
He got a bite
And then...
He said
To the person on the phone
'Let me call you back,
I've got someone on the other line'

Madam and the Phone Bill
You say I O.K.ed
LONG DISTANCE?
O.K.ed it when?
My goodness, Central
That was then!
I'm mad and disgusted
With that Negro now.
I don't pay no REVERSED
CHARGES nohow.
You say, I will pay it--
Else you'll take out my phone?
You better let
My phone alone.
I didn't ask him
To telephone me.
Roscoe knows darn well
LONG DISTANCE
Ain't free.
If I ever catch him,
Lawd, have pity!
Calling me up
From Kansas City.
Just to say he loves me!
I knowed that was so.
Why didn't he tell me some'n
I don't know?
For instance, what can
Them other girls do
That Alberta K. Johnson
Can't do--and more, too?
What's that, Central?
You say you don't care
Nothing about my
Private affair?
Well, even less about your
PHONE BILL, does I care!
Un-humm-m! . . . Yes!
You say I gave my O.K.?
Well, that O.K. you may keep--
But I sure ain't gonna pay!

Call On Me
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
On the phone you sure talk a good game
Say Ill be callin out your name
Well I shouldnt be the one to blame
When I proceed to knock it straight up out the frame
We got the tanquery the oj the lingerie
Dirty movies, I brung the treats
Youre so sexy I know your horney
And your wanting me so just...
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
At your house Im so aroused
I want it now
Now Im buzzin
We start touchin
Weve been toastin and jokin
Ive chosen to get you open
Bedroom, bedroom, backyard,
(anywhere you wanna be) on the car,
Your garage, against the wall, in the hall
Whod a thought wed so it all (I know you will call because)
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
Call on me
Whenever you feel freaky
Im all you need
So come on, come see me
No surprises by the time
The sun rises Ill be gone
Let the memories be a lullaby anytime
Youre all alone
Just pick up the phone and call on me
Call on me
If your all alone all you gotta do is
Call on me
When the kids are gone and you need someone you can
Call on me
Theres no need to be alone baby you can pick up the phone
Call on me
When your sittin there and you need something and you know what it is (yeah baby)
Call on me
I care, Im right here waiting on you, Ill be right there with you
Call on me
Anything you need Ill be your mr. serve you up...

Confusion The Waitress
She said you can do anything you want.
She said you can be with anyone.
She said you can go anywhere you want
She said.
She said you can say anything you need.
She said you can be anywhere you feel.
She said just pick up the phone.
(confusion the waitress.)
She said dont go dark on me again.
She said.
She said the silence in the silence
I see you my confidence
She said.
She said loophole how are you.
She said oh no once again the superstar.
She said he loves you but can you name me his children.
She said oh the God you lost again.
She said the colour of your boyfriend.
She said get out of bed. answer the phone.
She said in the belly of st pauls again.
She said goodyear rubber man.
She said Im smiling with the sun.
She said two years is a small price.
She said loophole. how are you.
She said once again the superstar.
She said look at the size of it.
She said.
She said you can do anything you want.
She said you can be with anyone.

The Battle Between Lie And Truth
I lied
Throughout my life
My truth hid behind
Thoughts started
Bothering my mind
How long one can hide?
Truth ultimately shines
The moment
I opened my mouth
To reveal the truth
My past resisted
With all the might
Asking me to desist
From
Exposing all my truth
People shall hate
When they see
My true face
I replied
The fear of truth
Increased my lies
Weight increased
On my heart and mind
Peace and solace
Went far away
Everybody knows
Each one
Is double faced
May be one
Changes the mind
Decides to think
The way I thought
To reveal the truth
And end the battle
Between lie and truth
Win peace
For the heart and mind

It's A Lonesome Desert At Night
I stood in a phone booth
In the middle of the desert
And listened to it ring,
It sounded like some sad old song
I think I used to know how to sing -
I heard Spanish horns
Wailing in the distant air,
A longing upon the Western wind
Rolling in from somewhere, far beyond here, or there -
Rain started down
As hypnotically I picked up the phone,
I heard lightning crackle through the line
And thunder seductively groan -
A voice in the wind
Blew hot and low
Throwing desperate dust into the fading sky,
While shadows in the flashes and trembles through the ground
Gave clouds cause to cry and cry -
I wanted so to call Someone...
But, I didn't know how; and
It really wouldn't have mattered anyway,
For I had no quarters...
Nor any good words left to say -
Upon the desert floor the next morn
I awoke, cold and alone
Covered in both dust and dew,
The phone booth and storm were gone...
But the sky remains forever, the deepest shade of pure blue.

No Phone, No Computer—5 days
I going crazy, I might lose my mind.
This morning my mother says,
No phone no computer for five days,
There is a problem at the station.
I laughed until I saw she wasn’t laughing with me,
Then I wanted to cry.
No Phone No Computer for five days,
That is what they said.
I am beginning to pace and check the phone,
For a dial tone every now and again,
I have taken up writing about anything,
I am so board and the scary part is,
This is only day one.
Welcome readers to day two.
I woke up checked the phone,
Ate, took a shower, then checked it again.
Tapping my fingers and playing games on the desktop,
Looking through old photos,
Writing silly poems that I will never keep,
Is what I have come down to.
Checked it again but this time,
I heard a ringing in my ear,
That was ever so beautiful so beautiful in fact that,
It made me smile and brought tears to my eyes.
I am so glad that I don’t have to,
Tell you about my obsession driving me crazy,
For three more days,
And go day without talking to him.

Granpa
i wanted to hang up the phone
while i was talking
i had been doing something
unimportant
i like your little rituals
you ask if im my mothers daughter
if im my fathers daughter too
and then you'll laugh
a precious kind of laughter
and then you'll tell me what the cat did
if the dog ran away
and who won the fight
you or her
i remember when you told me
about the inventor at your work
who wanted to build a phone
one could put in its pocket
and how everyone laughed
dear granpa
i hold this phone in my hands
i listen to your voice
and hope every time
this wont be the last call
