What man can’t, God can!
Many a time, it seems as though,
A hurdle big has crept in life;
No matter what, we try to do,
We fail to get over the strife.
Sometimes in life, despair engulfs
Our heart and mind with bitterness;
Attempts to overcome may fail,
And ends our joy and happiness!
At times, an accident may bring
A happy home to a grinding halt;
All harmony and peace are lost;
We know it isn’t our dear own fault!
Life brings with it troubles and bliss;
Some happy moments, we may miss;
We yearn for love/ a loving kiss;
What man cannot, God only can!
Life takes us closer to our God;
Our sins appear before our eyes;
We see the love of Jesus Lord;
Our prayers make us rather wise!
Man’s feeble strength may fail sometimes;
Hard-work, efforts may not suffice;
Then God comes back into our lives;
Christ’s death on cross is paid blood-price!

A Willing Sacrifice
They say they love God like me, and they want to live eternally,
Without the love I have for Him, as they continue their life of sin.
But the power of Calvary’s Cross, changes the hearts of the lost,
As men come to Jesus Christ, His Spirit changes wayward lives.
They say in God they believe, but life in Christ they don’t receive,
But men must believe in their heart, for life in Christ to truly start.
Most men will acknowledge God, and agree He exists with a nod,
But never truly embrace His Son, Who came to die for everyone.
Some want to believe religiously, without a change men can see,
Afraid more about what men say, than our Lord on Judgment Day.
But we can’t believe Saving Truth, without our life showing proof,
Within our hearts and in our lives, that we belong to Jesus Christ.
For He did more than die for men, on a cross He purchased them,
When He became God’s sacrifice, His Blood for all paid the price.
A price we could not pay for sin, that on a cross was paid by Him,
When God sent Christ to the cross, to save a world of sinners lost.
The debt that we could not afford, was paid in Grace by The Lord,
And so we die to a life of sin, and use our life to acknowledge Him.
Being truly loved by God’s Son, we profess His Name to everyone,
Willing to be God’s living sacrifice, and God’s Light for Jesus Christ.

The Holy Cross That Jesus Bore …
The Holy Cross set mankind free
From mortal sins of every kind,
When Jesus died upon this tree,
And paid price with His precious blood!
The flaying and abuses hurled
Left gashes deep upon His back,
With burning pain, no man can bear,
And yet, our living God does care!
And every time that Jesus fell
Reminds the weight of mankind’s sins
Became more than, He could carry,
Trudging His way to Calvary!
The nails we drove into His Hands
Were sins that God for man forbade;
Excruciating pain, they caused
As bones were broken with blood-spurt!
The crown of thorns were sins of mine
Like jealousy, ego and pride,
And vanity of kings futile,
That pierced His scalp and drew out blood!
Those desperate moments of Christ
As ebbing life and untold pain
Upon Him seized, were caused by sins
That we repeatedly commit.
Each dropp of bloody sweat that fell
From brow of head of Jesus Christ,
As shock and pain engulfed His mind
That witnessed ruthlessness of men!
The words of wisdom, Jesus spoke
Despite His sorrow-afilled heart
Are exemplary and so strange
Revealing love of God boundless.
The Holy Cross has set us free
From punishments for sins truly;
Repent, we must for each folly,
And enter Heaven’s life jolly!
Forgive us Lord for sins galore;
That we commit so stupidly,
Although we know that You detest
And fail so many times Your test.
O God of love and rod so stern!
We thank You for sending Your Son,
Who saved us all from fire of hell
‘Spare us, O Lord; Spare thy people! ’

Jesus Christ, Our Hope, Strength and Refuge!
For sins of human beings all,
Lord Jesus laid His life on cross;
Although a sin-free soul Himself,
He suffered, died to redeem man.
He shed His every dropp of blood,
Emancipating human race
From punishment by hell for sins –
Such heinous crimes upon the earth!
The cross is part of Christian’s life,
And persecutions will happen,
As Christ predicted all these things,
For those who walked in His foot-steps!
His Holy Spirit guides Christians,
Who live a righteous life for Christ,
The only Son of Almighty –
A heart of immense love for man!
But Christ resurrected from death!
He won clear victory o’er satan;
All Christians good will do the same;
This faith is something strangely true.
Let humiliations come in life!
Let trials, tribulations come!
Let strife threaten our faith and hope!
Christ stays with us till end of time!
A Christian takes his cross and walks
Behind the Savior, Jesus Christ –
The Light and Truth and only Way
To reach Heaven, abode of God!

Easter
On Christmas day
Was born a babe,
Who brought forth joy
And peace on earth.
On Easter day,
Lord Christ, who died,
Came back to life
All on his own.
Prophets had died;
Saints too had died;
Great men had died;
But none returned.
Just Jesus Christ
Rose on third day;
He won over death,
And Satan lost.
The death of Christ,
Resurrection,
Victory o’er death
Brought redemption-
For all mankind,
For endless time;
Heaven was now
Open to all.
Sinners who say
‘I’m sorry, God,
And repent well,
Can avoid hell’
Christ paid the price
Of mankind’s sins
By death on cross,
And his suffering.
When we do sins,
They wound the Lord,
And hurt him more
And make him sore,
Let’s rise with Christ;
Renounce Satan,
His pomps and works;
Live for Christ’s sake.
Heaven is ours.
Christ is the way;
He is the Truth;
He is the Light.
Let’s follow Christ
To Calvary;
And heaven-wards:
ETERNITY!

Is God In The Picture?
Is The Lord God in your picture, or is God just a religious fixture?
Friend is Jesus Christ real to you, involved in all you say and do?
Or does The Lord God have no part, in your life or in your heart?
Has Jesus Christ become your boss, or just an Icon on a cross?
God dear friend is real indeed; who’s there for all in time of need.
You may still have Him on a cross, where He died for all the lost,
But He’s no longer upon that tree; He rose again for you and me.
God dear friend is Jesus Christ, who died to bring us Eternal Life.
Jesus Christ became a Sacrifice, to pay for men an eternal price,
The price was God’s Only Son, who paid sin’s debt for everyone.
For on that day our debt was paid, when all sin on Christ was laid.
God did this so men could know, God in Heaven who loves us so.
Christ does not need you or me, to rule and reign for all Eternity,
God is truly real dear friend; Christ is the Beginning and the End.
And even if you don’t believe, Christ loved you friend on Calvary,
However, you must believe in Him, for God to forgive all your sin.
Why turn your back on the love, of God who’s reigning up above?
Why not trust Christ who died, now reigning at The Father’s side?
Won’t you today embrace The One, God who gave His Only Son?
Why don’t you friend believe today, in God’s only everlasting way?

Poem: Song to the Holy Cross
The cross of love:
The cross I love:
The cross I'd loved all life;
The wooden cross:
The holy cross:
The cross that bore man's strife.
The oaken cross:
The heavy cross:
The cross Jesus carried;
The cross on which
Christ Lord was nailed:
And bore man's sins indeed.
The cross of death:
The blood-stained cross:
The Savior, man, redeemed;
The cross of life's
Victory o'er death:
That souls on earth must heed.

Foundational Truth
The foundation for Grace was laid, when by Christ the price was paid,
Paid with His Blood on a cross, where Christ had died for sinners lost.
With the precious blood of Jesus Christ, He bought for all Eternal Life,
As life is in the blood my friend, and in Jesus Christ that life won’t end.
He is the Church’s one foundation, the Lord and God of our Salvation,
And He is the Chief Cornerstone, as salvation is found in Christ alone.
Christ, who died for all men on earth, offers to every man a New Birth,
The moment you believe is when, in Jesus Christ, you are born-again.
This is the foundation of New Life, life that’s found only in Jesus Christ,
Christ can give you a new start, transforming both your mind and heart.
Jesus will turn you from your sin, when you begin a daily walk with Him,
The Lord will make your life brand new, as He walks and talks with you.
Foundational Truth God does impart, with The Spirit to an open heart,
Where in your heart He will reside, helping believers to in Christ abide.
The Spirit guides us from all sin, as we begin to yield and grow within,
As God’s Spirit helps us to discern, the Truths that we read and learn.
The Word of God is foundational, to change your life and do God’s will.
Sharper than a two-edged sword, is the Living Word of Christ our Lord,
This for the renewing of our mind, as God purifies us leaving sin behind,
So we can live in newness of life, honoring The One who paid the price.

New Year 2012, a Christian Message
Though born in dark hours, New Year shall be bright,
As Jesus Christ is Truth and Way and Light;
Don’t worry for today’s worries are much;
Just pray to God to give the soothing touch!
The Almighty has plans to bless New Year;
Just live your life soul-wise and loving dear;
If thoughts be cleaner, sins be lesser, Man,
Then change your life for better, God’s grace can!
God gave some strife in Old Year for our good;
His Word’s enough for earthly livelihood;
The God of love will bless you immensely,
If you fix heart’s gaze to eternity!
God is the Master of the universe;
He is sole Lord; not wealth or money-purse;
To God, all things are possible with ease;
His only Son brought joy to man and peace!
Take up your cross in life and follow Christ;
You will be sin-free, not satan-enticed;
Aim for treasures in heaven that’s priceless;
Your earthly bliss shall grow to be boundless!
So, live a life in New Year as God wants;
Say thanks and praise the Lord by hymns and chants;
God cares for all giving both sun and rain;
Spend time in prayer more – a boon, not bane!
Let good men lead lives better than they must;
God undoes rods and frees those hearts accursed;
Have trust in Him who loved you when He made;
Your earthly good deeds will bear fruits, not fade!

Listen to Jesus’ Call
The man I know as Jesus,
Is Son of God, Most High;
-Conceived by Holy Spirit
In Virgin Mary’s womb!
He came to save all sinners
By death upon the cross;
He resurrected third day,
And showed his Godly powers!
What love has Father shown us!
Though earthlings don’t deserve;
He sacrificed His Son’s life,
To pay souls’ freedom price!
Now all can go to heaven,
If we can follow Christ;
Take up your cross and walk then
In footsteps of the Lord.
Renounce the work of devils;
Put trust in Jesus Christ;
He comes to judge all mankind,
When He comes second time!
Repent for sins of past years;
Reconcile with the Lord;
Remember Heaven’s nigh
For righteous and upright.
Jesus can forgive sins all;
Just ask and be made pure;
He waits in Heaven’s glory
For every soul, He made!
Oh, what a wonder God is!
He’s awesome, most loving;
His mercy is infinite
Listen to Jesus’ call!

Good Friday...
Behold the wood that went to make the cross
That bore the Saviour Lord, King Jesus Christ:
The holy cross at Calvary on which
Was hung, the Redeemer of mankind race!
That man was only Son of God in flesh,
Who suffered, shed His precious blood as price
For every sin of everyone on earth,
Of Adam and of Eve in lineage!
It wasn’t about the cross that Jesus bore;
It was about the One who hung on it!
He came to earth as Mary’s baby boy,
And gave to men the Good News, peace and joy!
The cross of wood assumed significance
When Jesus died upon it for our sins;
The sacrifice supreme was love of God
For creature man of clay whom He had made!
When Christ resurrected upon third day,
And won o’er death and satan for all times,
The holy cross became the weapon sole
That scares away the devils back to hell!
The cross became the symbol of Christians,
Reminding man of Salvation for all,
As Christ had paid the price on our behalf,
And turned to be the Truth, Light, Way to God!
The holy cross beckons each one of us
To take up each one’s cross and follow Christ;
It is the only hope for all mankind
As life on earth becomes so meaningful!
God’s Love was born on Christmas day as Christ!
Man’s sins nailed Him to death upon the cross!
Christ’s obeisance to Father freed mankind
If repentant, from Fiery Pit of hell!
Reflect on passions Christ had undergone,
Before He died upon the holy cross;
Follow His teachings and precepts for man;
Heaven is nigh for sinners penitent!

Easter- The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the death of Death!
Lord Jesus Christ has risen from his grave!
The tomb on third day was an empty cave;
The Savior of mankind has done the feat;
The Evil One Satan has got defeat.
The empty tomb of Jesus Christ is proof:
The tomb-stone rolled aside, away from roof;
Yes, Jesus resurrected as forecast;
The sting of death is now a thing of past.
The second Adam has won over death;
The fear of death needn’t haunt someone on earth;
Death is not end but henceforth beginning
Of Life eternal- mankind’s new meaning.
Jesus, the Light has dispelled all darkness,
That hinders men from Heaven’s happiness;
Jesus, the Way leads all souls to Heaven;
Our Road to Heaven has been made even.
The heart of love infinite won o’er death;
No more can death frighten a soul on earth;
The King of Love has conquered death ‘per se’;
This is the key message of Easter Day.
Our sinless Messiah is alive still,
After his death on cross upon the hill;
God’s only Son is Savior of mankind;
Confess your sins of body and of mind.
Jesus, the Truth has triumphed o’er Satan;
And Hope is born afresh that beckons man;
Children of Adam and of Eve are saved;
The road to Heaven’s glory, Jesus paved.
Denied is Satan of power of death-
Sigh of relief for all souls upon earth;
The gate of Heaven’s wide open to all;
We all can go to God, despite our fall.
Death entered earth through Adam and Eve’s sin;
Christ’s Resurrection is also our win;
The warrior of love has conquered death;
Jesus has brought about the death of Death!
The awesome death is now man’s friendly-foe!
Death puts an end to every strife and woe;
The cruel thief is welcome guest of man;
Man need not fear death in his whole life-span.
Death is the way to Eternity now;
Death is not dreadful as it was once, wow!
Man’s body got back sanctity once lost-
Rejuvenating truth to mankind, vast.
No tomb can hold a man’s body for long;
Death’s silence will be broken by life’s song;
The risen Christ has opened up all tombs-
Even for dead, unborn babies in wombs!
The future of all mankind lies in Christ;
‘Our faith in God’- the flag, we ought to hoist;
Follow the Cross and Heaven’s Gate is nigh,
When we are made too kings by One, most High.
Like Christ, all Christians too can resurrect;
Let’s keep our soul without sinful defect;
The rod for sins has also been absolved;
Redemption of mankind has been resolved.
The holy cross of Christ has paid the price
Of freedom of man’s every sin and vice;
Awaits the Lord with banquet feast for us;
Let us prepare our soul now for this Bliss.

Bereavement
When someone dear is dead and gone,
Through sudden death or accident,
A lot of misery gets born,
That seems to have no precedent!
When one commits a suicide,
The tragedy, none can accept;
When one has died by homicide,
Nothing can console, nor precept!
Bereavement brings on utter grief,
And takes some people by surprise;
For lucky few, the woe is brief;
Some can’t get over the demise!
Our earthly life brings separations
Unexpected, like bolts from blue;
Some may not bear the frustrations,
And fail to start a life anew!
God allows things to occur still;
Let’s blame Him not for our own faults;
God heals the heart and mind that’s ill;
Breath needn’t return by ‘smelling-salts’!
God knows the aches of every soul,
And cares with love, all beings more;
Sometimes, life’s soup turns sour in bowl;
A better one, God will then pour!
Man must take things as they come on;
Life has its times of joys and woes;
The stricken heart, new hope must don,
And that is how life on earth goes!
So, buck up man, woman and child;
Like changing seasons, things will change;
A balanced mind must not run wild;
Let devils not, your lives derange!
Things will turn better, soon or late;
Nothing is permanent or long;
Patience is needed till that date;
Sing a dirge or divine a song!

Overwhelming Trials
Something bigger God is doing, when trials in a life are brewing,
Even as darkness may overwhelm, a life, with Christ at the helm,
It may be an illness or a trial, but, He's at work, there's no denial,
Touching souls, through all of us, those who follow Christ Jesus.
My life belongs to God down here, in Him I have no need to fear,
For my life here, is a walk of faith, led by Christ's love and grace,
And God has a much larger plan, desiring the heart of every man,
So God may use my tribulation, to reach a soul with His Salvation.
Christ said tribulation would come, but He Himself, has overcome,
And not only for this earthly time, but, life to come that is sublime,
That time ahead, is sure to come, for all purchased by God's Son,
Those who met Christ at Calvary, will overcome, with Him eternally.
Trial and tribulation is not my end, as I travel around a darker bend,
On this path God gives me peace, that in dark times doesn't cease,
The end of all down here for me, begins my life with God in eternity,
The moment I step into Eternal Life, to live forever with Jesus Christ.
Soon all my trials will pass away, as I enter eternity with Him to stay,
When I step through that final door, I will be with Christ forevermore,
With all former things well behind, with a pure eternal peace of mind,
Where these times I will not miss, as I'm surrounded by eternal bliss.

All Who Come
The Lord gives rest to the weary, to all of those who come,
To the deceived and the leery, His Truth comes in The Son.
In gloomy times He gives hope, in The Savior Jesus Christ,
With a power for all to cope, through the weary times of life.
God comes to all who seek, guidance from The Lord above,
Reaching down to the meek, with an uncompromising Love.
God meets you where you stand, at anytime and any place,
Guiding you with a loving hand, in His mercy and His Grace.
God will truly walk with you; being always present in this life,
As He helps you safely through, in times of trial and of strife.
Should you bump into despair, at any point within your day,
God will take you in His care, to comfort you along the way.
And when things do go wrong, God fills you with His peace,
Through a day dark and long, with a love that will not cease.
God will guide you in His light, safely through the day’s end,
Then He gives you rest at night, as a Shepherd and a friend.
Indeed a friend to all who come, from wherever they may be,
To the cross of God’s own Son, The Shepherd of all Eternity,
So come to Him all of the lost, to the Shepherd Jesus Christ,
Through His death on the cross, He gives to men eternal life.

Without The Lord
To live one day without The Lord, is one day you cannot afford,
To live this life on your own, without the Power from His Throne,
While your life God shall fill, with the Spirit’s Power, per His will,
As God powers your daily life, when you walk with Jesus Christ.
For you it’s not a great sacrifice, as The Lord has paid the price,
When He died for you and me, on that bloody Cross of Calvary;
Where He died, for sinners like us, and all we have to do is trust,
In His finished work, on the cross, paid by Christ for sinners lost.
Christ had suffered all the pain, to grant to believers Eternal gain,
He grants, when we truly believe, when The Holy Spirit we receive,
His Spirit of Wisdom and Power, providing us each day and hour,
Being our teacher and our guide, as God’s Spirit now lives inside.
The Spirit goes before us every day, as we walk life’s narrow way,
Supplying strength for life’s race, as He guides us place to place,
In times of trial He grants peace, that from Christ, shall not cease,
With His presence and His light, that overcomes the dark of night.
We gain all this and so much more, when we know Christ as Lord,
With the best, still yet to come, as we labor for Christ’s Kingdom,
God’s Kingdom that has no end, with Christ as our Eternal Friend,
So before you let this day depart, allow the Savior into your heart.

Grace Along The Way
I need God’s Grace every day, to deal with people along the way,
Those people who appear to be, unruly at times and unkind to me.
I need to be a prevailing light, when I’m wronged, to do what’s right.
For when I enter my work place, men must see His love and grace.
Work is not the problem friend, but the people with whom I contend.
They’re not happy you can say, until they’ve ruined someone’s day.
They even make short days long, never seeing what they do wrong.
And it’s Grace that helps me cope, when there seems to be no hope.
Grace gives one an Eternal view, to temper all that you say and do.
All the wrong that’s done to me, is small when compared to Eternity.
Friend, I was once of that mind, and would say and do things unkind.
But Christ has truly set me free, from righting the wrong done to me.
Change in my life was wrought, when by Christ Jesus I was bought,
When Christ shed his blood for me, upon a wicked cross at Calvary.
It is the bloods transforming power, working in my heart every hour,
Transforming my ways of life, through the Holy Spirit sent by Christ.
My life must become a sacrifice, to draw other men to Jesus Christ.
And bitterness one can not afford, as a witness for Christ our Lord.
Friend, daily I must make a choice, to become embittered or rejoice,
So I rejoice in my Lord Jesus Christ, who died for me to give me life.

A Child's Prayer to Jesus Lord
Jesus, come and make me well;
I am praying day and night;
You are truth and way and light;
Grant me heaven and not hell!
Jesus, heal my ailments all;
You can work miracles fast;
Ignore all my sins of past;
Help me listen to your call!
Jesus, take my grief and woes;
Life on earth is sorrowful;
Faith can make it beautiful;
Put my life back on due course!
Jesus, Lord and King of kings;
Savior of the human race;
God with thousand suns as face;
You provide my needed things!
Jesus, help me love you, God;
You can forgive me my sins;
Make my failures become wins;
Spare me from your fair, just rod!
Jesus, God one incarnate;
Born of Mary, virgin queen;
Make my soul-desert turn green;
Holy God, immaculate!
Jesus, Christ, Creator God;
Fill my empty life with joys;
Help me carry my life's cross;
God of love, you are my Lord!
Jesus, fill my soul with grace;
Free me from all temptations;
Help me pray for souls, nations;
Fix on heaven, my soul's gaze!

Sonnet: By His Stripes!
Oh, let the Hand of God well strike the chord,
Restoring harmony back in my life;
The peace of mind and heart, bestow me Lord;
Deliver me from every vice and strife!
So many years have rolled by very fast;
My life was filled by struggles of all types;
Let me forget the blunders of the past;
Forgive my every sin made, by Your Stripes!
Now triumph smiles again, giving me joy;
My labor hard has paid off finally;
Oh, help me breathe with ease and life enjoy;
Do add me to Your righteous souls’ tally!
’Tis time I gave more time for my soul’s care;
If not for You, my life would have been bare!

Thank You Lord
Thank you Lord for your sacrifice by sending your Son Jesus Christ,
Christ put aside His Iron Rod to come to earth as The Lamb of God.
Thank you Lord for dying for me on that wicked cross up on Calvary,
The very God of all eternity died on a bloody cross in place of me.
Thank you Lord for seeking my heart and giving me a brand new start,
God found me in a darkened life and gave to me a new life in Christ.
Thank you Lord for forgiving my sin, cleansing my heart deep within,
God sees me but not my old life, being washed in the blood of Christ.
Thank you Lord for saving me and seating me with Christ in Eternity.
Although still upon the earth, I’m positioned in Heaven by new birth.
Thank you Lord for loving me and opening my eyes, so that I may see,
Christ touched me with His Grace and removed the veil from my face.
Thank you Lord for The Spirit inside who for me is an Eternal Guide.
Wisdom to me The Spirit brings guiding and teaching me in all things.
Thank you Lord for using my life to draw other men unto Jesus Christ,
I’ve died to self and live for Christ so that others may have New Life.
Thank you Lord for all my needs as you are faithful to the end indeed,
Addressing every need and care, of all my needs He is fully aware.
Thank you Lord for the times we talk anywhere along my life’s walk,
Whether on the road or in my home, I have access to God’s Throne.
I Thank you that from the start you placed a song deep in my heart,
With a new song in my heart to sing, I thank you Lord for everything.

Song Asking God’s Help
Help me God, O help me please;
Of urgent help, I’m in need;
Help me God, O help I plead;
You’re my only friend indeed.
Help me God without delay;
I can’t make both ends to meet;
Help me God in every feat;
You’re my hope, so don’t retreat.
Who else will come to my aid?
In troubles, my heart is laid;
Help me God to see them fade;
You’re the One who helps me wade.
I have faith in You my God;
Send me Lord, a happy mail;
Let my soul always Thee hail;
You must help me without fail.
