Jesus Christ, Our Hope, Strength and Refuge!

For sins of human beings all,
Lord Jesus laid His life on cross;
Although a sin-free soul Himself,
He suffered, died to redeem man.

He shed His every dropp of blood,
Emancipating human race
From punishment by hell for sins –
Such heinous crimes upon the earth!

The cross is part of Christian’s life,
And persecutions will happen,
As Christ predicted all these things,
For those who walked in His foot-steps!

His Holy Spirit guides Christians,
Who live a righteous life for Christ,
The only Son of Almighty –
A heart of immense love for man!

But Christ resurrected from death!
He won clear victory o’er satan;
All Christians good will do the same;
This faith is something strangely true.

Let humiliations come in life!
Let trials, tribulations come!
Let strife threaten our faith and hope!
Christ stays with us till end of time!

A Christian takes his cross and walks
Behind the Savior, Jesus Christ –
The Light and Truth and only Way
To reach Heaven, abode of God!

Good Friday...

Behold the wood that went to make the cross
That bore the Saviour Lord, King Jesus Christ:
The holy cross at Calvary on which
Was hung, the Redeemer of mankind race!

That man was only Son of God in flesh,
Who suffered, shed His precious blood as price
For every sin of everyone on earth,
Of Adam and of Eve in lineage!

It wasn’t about the cross that Jesus bore;
It was about the One who hung on it!
He came to earth as Mary’s baby boy,
And gave to men the Good News, peace and joy!

The cross of wood assumed significance
When Jesus died upon it for our sins;
The sacrifice supreme was love of God
For creature man of clay whom He had made!

When Christ resurrected upon third day,
And won o’er death and satan for all times,
The holy cross became the weapon sole
That scares away the devils back to hell!

The cross became the symbol of Christians,
Reminding man of Salvation for all,
As Christ had paid the price on our behalf,
And turned to be the Truth, Light, Way to God!

The holy cross beckons each one of us
To take up each one’s cross and follow Christ;
It is the only hope for all mankind
As life on earth becomes so meaningful!

God’s Love was born on Christmas day as Christ!
Man’s sins nailed Him to death upon the cross!
Christ’s obeisance to Father freed mankind
If repentant, from Fiery Pit of hell!

Reflect on passions Christ had undergone,
Before He died upon the holy cross;
Follow His teachings and precepts for man;
Heaven is nigh for sinners penitent!

Easter 2007

Christ was born;
Christ had died;
Christ had risen;
Christ will come again!

Joy came down to earth
By baby Jesus’ birth;
Hope lost when He died
Was regained forever
When He arose alive
On the third day.

Jesus is our Savior;
Jesus is Redeemer;
Jesus is our Heavenly Lord;
Son of the living God.

Jesus is the love of God
Transformed into man
And dwelt amongst us;
Suffered and died
For all mankind’s sins
On the holy cross,
And resurrected;
So that, all who repent,
Can gain forgiveness of sins
And reach heaven!

What is Christianity (Catholicism) ?

To live a Catholic life
In an alien land!
To be witness for Christ,
And join the martyrs’ band.

To suffer for Christ’s sake,
And offer them to God;
To bear our cross and walk
In footsteps of the Lord.

To live upto our faith,
No matter how comes strife;
To live with hope in Christ
Is prime in Christian’s life.

To be persecuted
For sake of Christ is true;
And being ill-treated,
The Almighty, we woo.

To read the Word of God
As Bible’s verses tell;
To mitigate our rod,
And never land in hell.

To spread the Word of God
To every person born;
To die a holy death,
And God’s abode adorn.

The road to God is clear
Narrow and only one;
With God, why should we fear?
His love gave us His Son.

To turn a martyr then
For faith and sake of Christ;
If need be, we will die
As Christ shed His blood first!

Easter

On Christmas day
Was born a babe,
Who brought forth joy
And peace on earth.

On Easter day,
Lord Christ, who died,
Came back to life
All on his own.

Prophets had died;
Saints too had died;
Great men had died;
But none returned.

Just Jesus Christ
Rose on third day;
He won over death,
And Satan lost.

The death of Christ,
Resurrection,
Victory o’er death
Brought redemption-

For all mankind,
For endless time;
Heaven was now
Open to all.

Sinners who say
‘I’m sorry, God,
And repent well,
Can avoid hell’

Christ paid the price
Of mankind’s sins
By death on cross,
And his suffering.

When we do sins,
They wound the Lord,
And hurt him more
And make him sore,

Let’s rise with Christ;
Renounce Satan,
His pomps and works;
Live for Christ’s sake.

Heaven is ours.
Christ is the way;
He is the Truth;
He is the Light.

Let’s follow Christ
To Calvary;
And heaven-wards:
ETERNITY!

The Cross

Two fallen twigs when kept across
Can form a cross;
Two blades of grass just put cris-cross
Becomes a cross.

Two fingers placed atop the next
Looks like a cross;
A wire-mesh has umpteen crosses,
Like stars the sky across.

The cross is symbol of Christians;
The cross is pride of all baptized;
The cross instills love of Jesus;
The cross is feared by all devils!

The cross is sign of faith in God;
The cross means sacrifice like Christ;
The cross reminds of victory over death;
Carry your cross and follow Christ.

The cross can save the worst sinner;
The cross is sign of after-life;
The cross means Christ is Son of God!
The cross leads always to heaven.

Praise The Cross Of Jesus

Today I praise the cross of Jesus, where He died and bled for me.
For on that very cross of Jesus, His bloody death has set me free.
Christ came to die for all of us, upon that bloody cross of Calvary.
And upon Him I place my trust, from this day through all Eternity.

It was upon the cross of Christ, that He came to die so I could live.
Christ came to offer to us His life, the gift His Father chose to give.
Jesus came to be our sacrifice, so that all our sins God will forgive.
It is through the blood of Jesus Christ, that I can now eternally live.

Nothing was done on my part, but to accept Christ and to believe.
Christ even moved upon my heart, with The Spirit that I received.
New Life in me He would start, the life The Spirit would conceive.
And for me, a message to impart, for New Life you must believe.

You must believe in Jesus Christ, who came to save you and me.
He sent The Spirit into this strife, to give us eyes so we could see,
That Jesus came to give men life, so that they could live eternally.
This life is found in Jesus Christ, and is from the blood of Calvary.

Friend, there is only but one name, that men can lift up and raise,
For no common man can claim, any credit and seek men’s praise.
No man’s glory and or fame, can compare to The Ancient of Days.
And Jesus Christ is the only name, that by all men will be praised.

One Drop of Christ's Blood Shed…

One dropp of blood
of Jesus Christ, shed
Frees millions of sinners
Of their life-time sins!

One dropp of blood
Of Savior Christ, priceless
Absolves the punishments
Of the worst repentant sinners!

One dropp of blood
Of Messiah Christ
Opens the gates of heaven
For souls which yearn for God.

One dropp of blood
Of the slain Lamb of God
Annuls eternal damnation
Of all who repent and plead!

One dropp of blood
Of the Redeemer Christ
Can save mankind
From the fire of Hell!

Such is the immense power
Of the blood of the Son of God,
Who suffered and died upon the cross
for mankind's sake!

The sacred blood of Christ
Can sanctify all souls,
Who are truly sorry from heart,
From time immemorial!

His Righteousness Alone

I have no righteousness of my own but stand on faith in Christ alone,
Abraham's an example to all of us for he believed unto righteousness.
On my own, from God, I stand apart as I was born with a sinful heart,
But Jesus took upon the sin of us to cover us with His Righteousness.

God knew before man's fall that Christ would die for the sins of all,
Satan would strike Christ's heel but God followed with this appeal,
Christ would in turn crush his head and Satan will be eternally dead,
Sin's price of death is on my head but Jesus Christ died in my stead.

Though Jesus died He rose again for death could not hold Him friend,
Death may come to all my friend and apart from Christ it is your end.
If you accept His Righteousness in-lieu of death you'll be blessed,
Reject The Lord and your last breath will take you to eternal death.

Christ suffered death for a while so to God we could be reconciled,
From the grave Christ did rise and now He lives even though He died.
Christ bore our sins on the cross and for our sins He paid the cost.
In the grave He buried our sin so we could rise to new life with Him.

There's still hope you can be sure for Jesus is knocking at the door,
He's waiting for you to come in for the cross is your victory over sin.
For our sin Christ did atone and Salvation is in Him and Him alone,
The One knocking at the door can be your Righteousness forevermore.

Good Friday!

For the love of Jesus Christ,
I must never sin again;
For His sufferings, death on cross,
I must lead a holy life.

For Christ’s precious blood shed then,
I must abhor every sin;
For the kindness shown by God,
Let me now renounce Satan.

For the God who loves me more
Than what truly I deserve,
Let me carry my own cross,
On the road to Calvary.

For the God who chose me to
Have a Christian birth on earth,
Let me sacrifice my life
Until my very last breath.

For the God who died for me,
And redeemed the worst sinner,
Lord, I offer myself as,
Christ makes me a clear winner.

Christian Marriage

God made you two as man and wife,
And live as one in earthly life;
The two bodies are now one flesh;
In Jesus Christ, you dwell, refresh.

No one on earth can separate,
Two souls ‘en way’ to Heaven’s Gate;
The marriage vows you took ’fore Lord,
Come sanctified by Divine Word.

For, Matrimony- sacrament,
Was made by Christ, a monument;
Forever love must then prevail,
Whatever comes as strife, travail.

When Christ suffered for sins of ours,
And shed His blood by death on cross,
Our suffering on earth is naught;
In joy of after-life, we’re caught!

God helps us brave all storms in life,
And timely aids us in all strife;
In Him, our faith should grow always
Until we pass our earthly days!

Ne’er fear: for God ne’er will forsake
The souls who live for His own sake;
Nor will He ever abandon
His righteous ones, the least even.

Believe the Lord and all He says;
Success on earth too comes in days;
Prepare your soul with grace always;
A Christian true has won the race!

Born From Above

There are many men upon this earth, who never heard of a spiritual birth,
Like Nicodemus, a curious one, a Pharisee, who questioned God’s Son.
Christ replied to Nicodemus in love, that man must be born from above,
Born of God, through Jesus Christ, who came to grant all men New Life.

Not born a second time, physically, but, in Christ, Born Again spiritually,
Born of God’s Spirit, so we can see, with our heart, The Truth of eternity.
With a focus that is now upon God, as you continue on this earthly sod,
With a Hope we didn’t have before, through Jesus Christ our Risen Lord.

Nicodemus, although a religious man, was not fit for God’s Eternal Plan.
For apart from the Savior’s Love, he would not see The Kingdom above.
Alone, man’s religious affiliation, has no bearing on the Lord’s Salvation,
But, simply your belief in God’s Son, who died on a cross for everyone.

To be born again of God’s Spirit, just accept God’s Truth as you hear it,
Just accept Christ, who died for sins, and New Life for you then begins.
All your flesh will remain the same, although you’ve become Born Again,
It’s your heart which God changes, as your inner thoughts He rearranges.

Just like a child is born into life, through faith we’re born in Jesus Christ,
When born anew into God’s family, to become His child through eternity.
Born from above, to live for Him, Jesus Christ, who died for all our sins,
Saving us at the cross of Calvary, Christ provides us a new life eternally.

Happy Easter 2012

The tomb of stone's empty!
Christ Jesus has risen,
On day three after death,
Just as He had foretold!

His death on cross was sad;
Even the sun didn't shine;
And earth shuddered awhile,
As corpses came alive!

Jesus was Truth and Light;
The dark tomb couldn't contain
Christ who's Light of the world;
Death could never prevail.

The Good Shepherd, He bore
Our every cross and sin;
The spotless lamb got slain
To save man from ruin!

What obeisance, Christ showed!
His Father was so pleased;
His heart was always moved
By love, His son had proved.

Good that Jesus rose then;
Our faith has stood the test;
Like Christ, we all can rise;
If sinless, reach heaven!

Jesus had crushed satan;
The body dies but then
Resurrection is true,
As soul and body meet.

By Christmas, Christ was born;
Through Easter, Christ died, rose;
In glory, He will come
As God and King and judge!

Easter gives man new hope;
The righteous can see God;
Jesus has paid the price
For every sin of man!

Like Jesus …

Like Jesus, Christians ought to bear a cross,
And carry it in His foot-steps and fall;
And drink from cup for sake of God though gall,
And walk to Calvary for Christ’s one cause!

Like Jesus, Christians must suffer a lot,
And live a humble life in ways of God,
To reach eternal bliss of Lord’s abode:
By death on cross, we sinners are all bought!

Like Jesus, Christians obey Our Father,
And reach Him through their incessant prayer,
And intercession by Mary Mother;
Our earthly problems, we will not bother!

Like Jesus, Christians will suffer great loss;
Be humiliated for no crimes of ours;
Be ridiculed and flayed, without a cause;
God is our leader, rear-guard and our Boss!

Poem: Song to the Holy Cross

The cross of love:
The cross I love:
The cross I'd loved all life;
The wooden cross:
The holy cross:
The cross that bore man's strife.

The oaken cross:
The heavy cross:
The cross Jesus carried;
The cross on which
Christ Lord was nailed:
And bore man's sins indeed.

The cross of death:
The blood-stained cross:
The Savior, man, redeemed;
The cross of life's
Victory o'er death:
That souls on earth must heed.

The Holy Cross

O Holy Cross of Jesus Christ!
How must I come to Calvary?
– By giving up world’s pleasures first,
Carrying my own and follow Thee!

O Holy Cross that Christ had borne!
Take me to Heaven’s narrow gate;
Much strife my body does adorn,
My sufferings never abate!

O Holy Cross on which Christ died!
At times, in life I grow weary,
Although in God, I do abide;
With charm all lost, life seems dreary.

O Holy Cross that satan fears;
Then guide me in the way of light;
My stay on earth almost well nears;
Let Truth be always in my sight!

O Holy Cross: eternal sign;
In Jesus Christ, I trust my soul;
In Maker’s Feast, I wish to dine:
My only aim and earthly goal!
O Holy Cross that saves mankind;
Show me the dress of grace to don;
For only pure a heart and mind
Can see the face of God’s one Son!

Easter- The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the death of Death!

Lord Jesus Christ has risen from his grave!
The tomb on third day was an empty cave;
The Savior of mankind has done the feat;
The Evil One Satan has got defeat.

The empty tomb of Jesus Christ is proof:
The tomb-stone rolled aside, away from roof;
Yes, Jesus resurrected as forecast;
The sting of death is now a thing of past.

The second Adam has won over death;
The fear of death needn’t haunt someone on earth;
Death is not end but henceforth beginning
Of Life eternal- mankind’s new meaning.

Jesus, the Light has dispelled all darkness,
That hinders men from Heaven’s happiness;
Jesus, the Way leads all souls to Heaven;
Our Road to Heaven has been made even.

The heart of love infinite won o’er death;
No more can death frighten a soul on earth;
The King of Love has conquered death ‘per se’;
This is the key message of Easter Day.

Our sinless Messiah is alive still,
After his death on cross upon the hill;
God’s only Son is Savior of mankind;
Confess your sins of body and of mind.

Jesus, the Truth has triumphed o’er Satan;
And Hope is born afresh that beckons man;
Children of Adam and of Eve are saved;
The road to Heaven’s glory, Jesus paved.

Denied is Satan of power of death-
Sigh of relief for all souls upon earth;
The gate of Heaven’s wide open to all;
We all can go to God, despite our fall.

Death entered earth through Adam and Eve’s sin;
Christ’s Resurrection is also our win;
The warrior of love has conquered death;
Jesus has brought about the death of Death!

The awesome death is now man’s friendly-foe!
Death puts an end to every strife and woe;
The cruel thief is welcome guest of man;
Man need not fear death in his whole life-span.

Death is the way to Eternity now;
Death is not dreadful as it was once, wow!
Man’s body got back sanctity once lost-
Rejuvenating truth to mankind, vast.

No tomb can hold a man’s body for long;
Death’s silence will be broken by life’s song;
The risen Christ has opened up all tombs-
Even for dead, unborn babies in wombs!

The future of all mankind lies in Christ;
‘Our faith in God’- the flag, we ought to hoist;
Follow the Cross and Heaven’s Gate is nigh,
When we are made too kings by One, most High.

Like Christ, all Christians too can resurrect;
Let’s keep our soul without sinful defect;
The rod for sins has also been absolved;
Redemption of mankind has been resolved.

The holy cross of Christ has paid the price
Of freedom of man’s every sin and vice;
Awaits the Lord with banquet feast for us;
Let us prepare our soul now for this Bliss.

Jesus’ Cross

The Holy Cross beckons
To follow Jesus Christ;
The source of strength and joy
To souls, for Lord athirst!

The Holy Cross guides us
To walk upon His steps;
The Son of God had died
To save mankind from sins.

The Holy Cross reminds
To place our trust in God;
Jesus resurrected
To annul man from rod.

The Holy Cross signals
That life has crosses, woes;
Yet, we must tread fearless;
Engages God, our foes!

The Holy Cross goads us
To carry each one’s cross;
Our war with satan’s won,
By Jesus, without loss!

The Holy Cross renews
Our ties with Jesus Lord;
He will come in glory
To judge mankind by Word!

Listen to Jesus’ Call

The man I know as Jesus,
Is Son of God, Most High;
-Conceived by Holy Spirit
In Virgin Mary’s womb!

He came to save all sinners
By death upon the cross;
He resurrected third day,
And showed his Godly powers!

What love has Father shown us!
Though earthlings don’t deserve;
He sacrificed His Son’s life,
To pay souls’ freedom price!

Now all can go to heaven,
If we can follow Christ;
Take up your cross and walk then
In footsteps of the Lord.

Renounce the work of devils;
Put trust in Jesus Christ;
He comes to judge all mankind,
When He comes second time!

Repent for sins of past years;
Reconcile with the Lord;
Remember Heaven’s nigh
For righteous and upright.

Jesus can forgive sins all;
Just ask and be made pure;
He waits in Heaven’s glory
For every soul, He made!

Oh, what a wonder God is!
He’s awesome, most loving;
His mercy is infinite
Listen to Jesus’ call!

Casting All Your Cares

Cast all your cares to Jesus Christ, and peace will flow into your life.
Just cast every single burden to Him, even those ladened with sin.
Lay them at the foot of the cross, where He died for sins of the lost.
Even when your trials don’t cease, He will fill your heart with peace.

God wants to transform your life, through the power of Jesus Christ.
With the same power He displayed, when our Lord Jesus was raised.
That was three days after friend, for all the world He was condemned.
Where God judged the world’s sin; as our iniquity was placed on Him.

Christ died in much agony and pain, and it was all for our eternal gain.
When all the sin of this world, upon His shoulders by God was hurled.
The Sinless Lamb had died for all; and this to free us from Adam’s fall.
Christ, the firstfruits of God’s love, is now enthroned in Heaven above.

With God’s Power came His Grace, for His Only Son died in our place.
Christ had given His life to rise again, and this is the Hope for all men.
Believers are buried with Jesus Christ, and in Him we rise to New Life.
Christ’s bodily resurrection is the proof, of God’s Glorious Eternal Truth.

Remember that Christ died for all, and our burdens for Him are small.
Christ died to give us all new life, so He can deal with our daily strife.
So cast all your cares at His feet, for in Christ Jesus we are complete.
And until we look upon His face, Christ will sustain us with His Grace.

Love Not Judge

The Lord wants not to judge us; God simply desires to love us.
He sent His Son for you and me, to a bloody hill called Calvary.
God had sent Jesus to that cross, for sinful men who were lost,
Where Jesus Christ died for all, taking the judgment for our fall.

He wants not to take your life, but give you one in Jesus Christ,
Who didn’t come to punish you, but to give you a life that’s new.
The reason why Christ was sent, was to receive our punishment.
On the cross Christ’s punishment, was in place of our judgment.

The Lord above is a Loving God, but His justice demands a rod,
One against the darkness of sin, and all enemies opposing Him.
Christ left His Eternal Light, to oppose the darkness of the night.
Christ had died for you and me, for us to live with God eternally.

It was God who loved us first, and in Christ offered us New Birth,
When we were but sinful dust, He had sent His Son to die for us.
And through His Son Jesus Christ, sinners go from death to life,
For at the time that God sent Him, we were still dead in our sin.

God will save you from all your sin, if you will only let Christ in,
If you let Christ into your heart, you will have a brand new start.
Then you will not fear His Rod, when you make Him your God,
You will instead reign with Him, when He judges death and sin.
