This Is Your Day

More precious souls are lost each day;
Souls happen to get saved some way;
Nevertheless, we can’t delay;
Let’s show the world that Christ’s the Way!

Good souls are going too, astray;
Let’s hold the demons all at bay;
Let Gospel word reach ears who say:
‘This Lent, let me amend my way! ’

‘Reconcile with God’ – This is the day!
The world cannot become all gay;
’Tis worth the struggle, come what may;
God’s love, all Christians should repay.

‘This is the day: let each one pray;
Let’s preach the Word: clergy and lay.’

Corpus Christi

This world needs Christ more than before,
As sins and crimes abound galore;
World’s darkness threatens truth and light,
As sun (Son) looks tarnished, lesser bright!

More clouds of torment fill the sky,
As human babies in wombs die;
More sheep stay scattered, shepherdless,
With scarce meadows and water less.

The Word of God will reach all souls,
As God sends shepherds with new roles;
All Christians ought to sacrifice,
And pray to God to make them wise.

The Omnipotent God will win,
And save mankind from every sin;
So, Christ had died upon the Cross,
And paid the price for sinners’ loss.

The world looks like an empty dream,
As Godless people much more scream;
All basic tenets, morals, codes,
Have reached the treacherous cross-roads!

Just God alone can save the earth,
Destroyed by human faults from birth;
All righteous souls must keep their heads,
As man with another man weds!

Satanic men desecrate Christ’s
Body and blood is spilled unkissed;
Blasphemies rant the air with pride,
As world will not in God abide.

Oh, what a world of Godlessness,
As man loves sin and more darkness!
Though Nature hits him cruelly,
The love of God remains truly.

The answer to all worldly woes
Is Corpus Christi – wisdom shows;
Let Christians live by Word of God,
And take away the curse and rod.

O God on High, shower your grace
Improving man’s deceitful face;
Let faith afill all hearts and minds,
As man in Godliness, peace finds!

Catholic Priesthood and ‘Year of the Priests’

‘The sheep are calling;
The flocks are swelling;
Good shepherds are a dearth,
Upon the mighty earth! ’

All sheep need good shepherds;
Sans shepherds good, they are mere herds,
That cannot find the pastures green,
With grass that’s fit on global scene.

Good shepherds know each sheep by name;
They do not work for pay or fame;
They know the wolf’s, many a game;
Their staff protects the sheep that’s lame!

Priests are the good shepherds of God;
They woo the souls away from rod;
They serve by being celibate,
And show humanity, God’s Gate.

They say the Holy Mass each day;
They preach and fast, fervently pray;
They drive the devils out, away,
Suffer for Jesus, come what may!

They change bread to body of Christ;
They change the wine to blood of Christ;
They forgive sins like Jesus Lord;
They tell the world the Divine Word.

Priesthood is one of sacraments;
Priests know the Old, New Testaments;
Their work is worth more than all gold;
They bring more souls unto God’s fold!

This is the ‘Year of Catholic priest’.
Lord Jesus waits with His great Feast;
Happy are souls, even the least;
God saves all sinners from the Beast.

Priests take vows for a divine role –
To lead souls to God’s Abode – goal.
Those worldly ones are merely fools!
God chooses priests to be pure souls.

‘Priesthood is passion great for Christ –
The profession that’s one highest;
The goal of men who are wisest –
Who live for Jesus’ sake, diest.’

Dedicated to all Catholic Priests world-over,
On behalf of ‘Holy Family Church Parish, Perundurai, TN, India.

Mariya The Preacher!

Mariya is a wondrous name!
Her face is sweet and kind...
Her heart, of course, is just the same!
Her mind is quite refined...
She preaches here, she preaches there,
Lost souls still need the Lord...
And when the Lord hears her in prayer,
He grants a new reward...

She proclaims a new beginning,
She sets her sights again
And her faith helps in the winning
Of lost souls now and then...
Compassion is the means by which
Evangelists reach out,
As if to help lost souls to switch,
The day they lose their doubt...

How wonderful it is to see
Mariya day-by-day,
For when she speaks of Calvary,
What more is there to say?
And yet our Lord has conquered death,
He lives in Christians now...
He is Jesus of Nazareth,
To whom all Christians bow...

Mariya has the Lord to praise
For blessings great and small
And yet for His amazing grace,
We ought to give our all...
So preach the Word and reach the lost!
Mariya hopes you will...
Because Lord Jesus paid the cost,
Mariya preaches still...

Parables of Jesus: ‘The Lost Sheep’

A shepherd with his hundred sheep,
Was grazing them in a meadow green;
When to his horror he noticed
That one was missing from the flock:
‘It wandered off and had got lost! ’
‘It wandered off and had got lost! ’

He left the ninety-nine behind
In the open, open country-side;
He went in search of the missing one,
And finding, lifted it with love,
Placed it on his shoulders, neck,
And came back to his flock with joy;
And came back to his flock with joy.

“Rejoice! I’ve found my sheep,
Just one out of a hundred fold,
One that was lost sometime ago,
I love it dearly anyhow!
Rejoice, my friends and neighbors all,
The sheep that was lost is found;
The sheep that was lost is found! ”

Sheep that was lost is like a soul,
Afilled with sins, and far from God;
And when a sinner repents then,
There’s much rejoicing in heaven;
There’s much rejoicing in heaven!

Lost sheep is like a sinner who
Commits sins and has strayed from God;
But God of love for all creatures,
Seeks him out without delay when
He has atoned for his sins,
And soul comes back to Maker’s fold;
And soul comes back to Maker’s fold.

The Good Shepherd – Lord Jesus Christ
Was sent to earth to be born man
in utter poverty and strife,
And suffer for the sins of all;
And suffer for the sins of all.

He came to earth to preach God’s Word
Of forgiveness of mankind’s sins;
He sought just sinners and not saints,
And made their hearts truly repent,
And saved them from the fiery hell,
Whither unrepentant souls go;
Whither unrepentant souls go.

The Good Shepherd is Jesus Christ,
Who came to preach the Word of God;
He sought the sinners’ souls all lost,
Explained to them about God’s love,
And the need to feel sorry,
As God’s ready to forgive sins,
No matter how many / grievous;
No matter how many / grievous!

Joy fills heaven, Abode of God,
And angels rejoice much more when
A penitent sinner repents,
And soul embraces God again;
And soul embraces God again;

Globe in Chaos (A Kyrielle)

The righteous stay in immense gloom;
More evil minds are seen to bloom!
The modern world has gone more gay;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

More heinous crimes reach ears and eyes;
The innocent, victims of vice;
More souls from God have gone astray;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

The kinds of sins have grown galore;
The shame is less though hearts are sore;
More devils roam the world each day;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

A world of lucre has surfaced;
The young and old keep all amazed;
Yet, God is not their Light and way;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

More gadgets rule most fields these days;
More people walk with masked a face;
For sins, all men must surely pay;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

Ethics and morals seem all dead;
More children stay abused, misled;
God’s codes are broken every day;
Usher a new earth, God, I pray.

Hymn II: Come, Sinners, to the Gospel Feast

Come, sinners, to the gospel feast,
Let every soul be Jesu's guest;
Ye need not one be left behind,
For God hath bidden all mankind.

Sent by my Lord, on you I call,
The invitation is to ALL:
Come, all the world; come, sinner, thou!
All things in Christ are ready now.

Come, all ye souls by sin opprest,
Ye restless wanderers after rest,
Ye poor, and maimed, and halt, and blind,
In Christ a hearty welcome find.

Come, and partake the gospel feast;
Be saved from sin; in Jesus rest;
O taste the goodness of your God,
And eat his flesh, and drink his blood!

Ye vagrant souls, on you I call;
(O that my voice could reach you all!)
Ye all may now be justified,
Ye all may live, for Christ hath died.

My message as from God receive,
Ye all may come to Christ, and live;
O let his love your hearts constrain,
Nor suffer him to die in vain!

His love is mighty to compel;
His conquering love consent to feel,
Yield to his love's resistless power,
And fight against your God no more.

See him set forth before your eyes,
That precious, bleeding sacrifice!
His offered benefits embrace,
And freely now be saved by grace.

This is the time; no more delay!
This is the acceptable day,
Come in, this moment, at his call,
And live for him who died for all.

God Amply Blesses Righteous Souls

At last, some things do happen much sought for,
in strange a manner, and in God’s own time;
The world is taken aback by such feats –
those happen by mere trust in Almighty!

God blesses righteous souls in mighty ways!
Our prayers can bring forth miracles quite fast;
God does not forsake nor abandon souls;
His love for righteousness is too steadfast.

The world looks down upon all righteous souls;
Yet, truth triumphs always ultimately;
Our foes and friends cannot believe their eyes;
God showers blessings on His beloved souls.

The righteous win against such heavy odds;
When God does things, He does them perfectly;
Our earthly tries end up in vanity,
But God gives upright souls some thumping wins.

Let worry not engulf one’s heart and mind;
Keep purity of soul foremost in life;
Sin shouldn’t decrease the bond of man with God;
God does great things if one truly deserves!

Souls In Need of Biblical Truth

There are souls that are totally lost, totally adrift in religious sauce,
A religious soup, created by men, in which The Lord will condemn;
There’re those totally deceived, as The Truth they haven’t received,
Never embracing Truths of Christ, they have no hope of eternal life.

Others want nothing to do, with the One embraced by me and you,
Many truly have no want or desire, for our God, Who reigns higher;
There are men who’ve never heard, the many Truths in God’s Word,
The Eternal Truths in God’s Revelation, that brings one to salvation.

With God’s Purpose and Vision, we must reach men lost in religion,
Through the Truth from His Throne, they must come to Christ alone;
To those deceived by the enemy, The Truth we must help them see,
For in Scripture we are reminded, by Satan they have been blinded.

To all who dismiss God in every way, to God above, we must pray,
That His Holy Spirit, He imparts, to soften up the many hard hearts;
For all who never heard the Gospel, our Commission we must fulfill,
By reaching out into every nation, with the Good News of Salvation.

For all the souls presently lost, we must show the way to The Cross,
To all those deceived in this world, God’s Salvation we must herald,
For souls who want no part of Christ, we need to live a changed life,
Also for those who know not Truth, to be for Christ, His living proof.

Vigilant

To pluck more men from the fire, on this day, is my heart’s desire,
To lead men to the light of Truth, so they won’t see God’s reproof,
Not a small rebuke my friend, as eternal darkness will be their end,
In those eternal flames of wrath, should they stay the present path.

I know this day my Redeemer lives, while new life to men He gives,
To all who call on Jesus Christ, God shall give to them Eternal Life.
All who’ve been deceived by men, who by God, stand condemned,
Must be reached with salvation, that comes from God’s Revelation.

Holding forth the Word of God, to spare men from God’s iron Rod,
The judging rod of God’s own Son, to judge the heart of everyone,
According to His Word we herald, not to some, but to all the world,
For when Christ returns again, His Judgment shall fall upon all men.

We need to reach men’s hearts, before the soul from earth departs,
Reach all men for Christ our Lord, helping the stray, to be restored,
Back, to The Rock of all Ages, through the Holy Scripture’s pages,
Where we find the only True Light, to lead lost souls from the night.

By The Savior I have been sent, with the Gospel, and to be vigilant,
To reach souls, as time is short, and soon all souls, Christ will sort,
And all men in the Book of Life, will enter eternity with Jesus Christ,
But, souls of those missing names, will be cast into eternal flames.

Victory For Britain

As long as God hears holy prayers
From people on their knees,
By faith we know He truly cares
As each with love agrees...
If he who wins lost souls is wise,
Let wisdom lead us well,
Away from folly and from lies
That only lead to Hell...

What use are riches Christ can't use?
Lost tithes no kingdoms bless...
For who are we to pick and choose
And then seek happiness?
Some fast and pray, some pray and give...
Some preach the Word of God...
Some prophesy that others live,
Saved by Christ's precious blood...

The victory for Britain waits
For Christians of this land,
To seek God's will, for He creates
The blessings He has planned...
Church without walls, Lord Jesus says,
Bless England, Scotland, Wales
And Ireland, too, because God cares
And His love never fails...

Affiliation Or Salvation

Many Organizations have raved, through them, men must be saved,
Through their ways and their belief, only can one find spiritual relief,
To be saved from sin’s awful curse, but, their beliefs lead to worse,
Pulling men away from God’s Truth, leading them to eternal reproof.

There’re many religious organizations, with a multitude of salvations,
All of them proclaiming to have the way, to reach Heaven in our day,
Through the salvations they arrange, many Truths these men change,
Ignoring much of God’s Revelation, as they produce a new salvation.

These organizations lead souls astray, upon a religious, broader way,
Drawing upon their own deduction, they just lead men to destruction,
In many ways these men have erred, leading men far from The Word,
Far from The Eternal Word of Life, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Many have traded in God’s Salvation, for a fuzzy, religious affiliation,
Falling far from the only true Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to fulfill;
In their gospel they have diminished, those three words “it is finished.”
Spoken by Jesus Christ at Calvary, when God had saved you and me.

Religion isn’t how The Lord saves us, but, we’re saved in Christ Jesus,
As He is The Only Way, Truth and Life, in a world where religion is rife,
So one must be upon that narrow path, to avoid destruction and wrath,
Searching you’ll find there’s only One, Jesus Christ, God’s Eternal Son.

For One To Be Saved

In order for one to be saved, they must first know they are lost,
A fallen soul, totally depraved, in need of the love of the cross,
Having nothing to give to Him, The Lord and God, Jesus Christ,
The Savior, who died for our sin, so we could have Eternal Life.

Depraved is such a harsh word, to describe a friend or a family,
One that is very seldom heard, much like that one word, eternity,
As so many have little concern, beyond their needs, day to day,
With even less of a desire to learn, what God’s Word has to say.

Many men need to just begin, believing they are basically good,
That every soul is born in sin, far from what they’ve understood,
And this is what separates us, from God, Who is Holy and Pure,
So that we need Christ Jesus, Who alone, opens Heaven’s Door.

Friend, It’s man’s moral depravity, bound up in the heart of them,
Which the Lord God of Eternity, being Righteous must condemn,
As the Lord cannot strive with sin, and with all men morally abase,
Our souls must be purged within, bringing us to a need for Grace.

So all souls need to come today, to God’s Word and understand,
That Christ provided God’s only way, that we with God can stand,
Acknowledging your need for Christ, and accept His Saving Truth,
Then you will enter Eternal Life, instead of His Righteous Reproof.

Beware of Satan, the Deceiver of the World

Satan deceives the world for long
As Gospel's truth aren't known to all;
He uses Christian rituals, rites,
Doctrines and laws to delude souls!

The evil spirit Satan thus
Enters the souls afilled with sin,
Pretending as Holy Spirit,
Duping even Christians with faith.

Satan can quote the scriptures well;
He uses name of Lord and God;
The Tempter is a ‘born' Liar;
And steals souls en way to heaven.

Receive the Holy Spirit then,
By knowing Gospel entirely;
And let Him dwell within always,
Enlightening your soul with grace.

False preachers in this world abound,
Who try to interpret the Word,
By creating ‘mass hypnosis',
And making people to convulse.

Loud hymns and intonations work
Illusions, magic, transient ‘cures',
Taking the minds and hearts to heights,
As if God has anointed one.

The Bible is the Word of God;
A heart with sin can't work like Christ;
Only a soul that's cleansed off sin
Can do the things, Jesus akin.

The Holy Spirit cannot dwell
In persons who have little faith,
In sacred words that Bible tells,
And live their lives as per God's Word.

A sustained life of prayer's first,
To follow foot-steps of Lord Christ;
A soul that's kept sin-free always
Can make the Holy Spirit stay.

The Holy Spirit dwells in those
Who have repented for their sins,
Renouncing Satan's pomps and works,
And never follow his vile ways!

No human act or endeavour
Can do miracles on one's own
But grace of God, prayer-obtained,
Alone can heal afflicted men.

For grace of God, strong faith is prime;
Fasting, prayers make life sublime;
Good deeds and charity are next;
All stem from love of Jesus Christ!

God sees the minds and hearts of men;
If body must be God's abode,
It should be freed of every sin,
And stay that way until one's death.

Beware of false teachers, prophets,
Who claim to see Jesus, Angels!
For, God was never seen by man,
From ever since the world began!

Spate in Persecution of Indian Christians?

Conversions come from God, the Almighty!
The ways of God are strange, unfathomable;
Christ Jesus forecast persecutions when
One follows Him on road to Calvary.

The Bible is the Word of God, most High;
The words are true and give light to mankind;
The words can work miracles in minds, hearts;
None can prevent the souls that heed His call!

A few fanatics spread disharmony;
The nation ought to ban these groups of men;
They sow the seeds of discord amidst all;
‘All Indians are brothers and sisters’ – Know.

Christians of India are Indians as well.
Why destroy churches, unleash on them, hell?
Why kill and maim the 3% of souls?
They are ready to lay down lives for God!

No one has right to kill or destroy homes;
No heinous crimes on earth go unpunished;
All minorities should be protected;
The fanatics should be booked very fast..

The floods and droughts are killing more people;
Abortions, hunger takes so many lives;
The poor are turning poorer every day;
Why destroy places of worship sacred?

The Holy Spirit will show them the way;
God will punish those who destroy churches;
All violent men will reap a violent end;
All Christians pray God ushers peace again.

The noble work of Indian Christians stand
As testimony to the love of God,
Who loves all righteous souls and sinners too;
Why kill and maim all Indian Christians? –Tell.

Are Indian Christians from another world?
They fought for Freedom and shed their blood too;
They serve to mitigate sufferings around;
Why burn them live as if they had done crimes?

The blood of martyrs has founded the Church;
All Christians wait for Christ’s second coming;
All evil-doers will be punished then, with
Hell’s pit fiery, as their eternal home.

All Christians pray that God should calm the place;
A few extremists can’t sow much discord;
Awake, O Leaders, ‘Make the land aright.’
Democracy of India can’t go wrong!

O Living God, One and Lord Jesus Christ!
Pour your compassion on the suffering souls!
Let religion not cause a deep divide
Amidst the Indians who are all one flock!

All Soul’s Day

God, many are the souls that left the earth;
Lord, many were in sin while departing;
The cleansing of souls takes in Purgatory;
Have mercy God and take them to heaven!

Man is not perfect anytime since birth;
Sinfulness fills his heart and mind till death;
Always a prey to Satan’s ploys, he stays;
The purity of soul is something rare.

Show mercy on our brethren God, we pray;
They lived a life of struggles upon earth;
Let Requiem masses celebrated bring
Release of more souls earlier than due dates!

Let Light eternal shine upon those souls
Whose threads of life were severed by rude death;
Let hymns of pleas on behalf of faithful
Open the gate of heaven to them soon!

Let world remember ‘All Souls Day’ and pray
For deliverance of the faithful dead;
Let acts of alms-giving and good deeds too
Kindle the heart of God to set them free!

No more devils can use us as their toys.

Dispelling darkness, lighting life’s alleys,
The Word of God miraculously guides;
Have faith in Jesus Christ and He gives peace;
The righteous soul in Maker’s codes abides.

Christmas 2007 Song – 7

There will be hung bright- lit stars
In many households;
There will be festooned Christmas-trees
For many young-olds;
There will be sumptuous foods too
On many a table!
But born was the Son of God,
In just a cold stable!

But was there not a better place
For the King of kings?
And ‘Gloria in Excelsis
Deo! ’- The world sings!
And why did God choose poverty,
When born was His Son?
All pomp and show and grandeur,
Why did He then shun?

God gave His only Son for us
To die on the cross!
For redemption of all sinners,
Avoiding souls’ loss!
What Love He bore for creature man!
-Describe, no words can;
That’s the greatness of Christmas Day,
And what scriptures say!

Repent; reconcile with God, man;
Short is your life-span!
Jesus has paid a precious price
For your sins and vice!
Wake up then souls; turn to His grace,
With divine a face,
For, come’s another Christmas Day;
Return to God’s way!

Missing A Sense Of Urgency

Weekly we hear the Pastor preach, about hearts and souls to reach,
Truths that we have often heard, expounded from God’s Holy Word,
Eternal Truths all believers must heed, about our world and its need,
That need, which is eternal friend, for every soul, this world will end.

An eternity for all men will begin, dividing this world, now run by sin,
As every soul from earth departs, when for each man eternity starts,
Some to join those who left before, to remain with God forevermore,
And others will be separated from, all men of God and His Kingdom.

To heed these Truths requires of us, for God, more than simple trust,
For as Believers we must sacrifice, our desire for the cause of Christ,
A cause which is of urgent concern, more so, as we continue to learn,
Of Judgment coming on this world, God’s Gospel is a must to herald.

Very soon on the present earth, what many value will be of little worth,
As earth will see a major upheaval, in God’s final battle against all evil,
A battle to destroy all Satan’s power, during this planet’s darkest hour,
When destroyed with fervent heat, to bring down Satan in sure defeat.

With everything we’ve been taught, in the Church what’s been wrought?
To bring that certain urgency into, the hearts of many like me and you?
To reach the lost and dying world, before God’s Judgment is unfurled?
So they can come to the place, to also be saved through God’s Grace.
