The Original Sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden
The devil knew that Eve was weak;
So chose to tempt the lady first;
A Liar by nature, Satan,
It asked Eve tell what God had bid.
Poor Eve knew not the wily snake,
And the Tempter's evil design;
She blurted out the truth God said;
‘They could eat fruits of every tree.
But not the one, God had forbade,
For, death befell the one who ate.'
But Satan told innocent Eve,
It wasn't the truth what God had said.
By eating fruit of ‘knowledge' tree,
One came to know the good from bad!
Your eyes open, you'll be like Gods,
And never die as God had said.
Poor Eve believed the charming words
Uttered by mouth of wily snake!
The tree looked good, so would its fruit;
She thought the snake had told the truth!
The apple looked so enticing
That Eve decided to taste it.
She longed for the wisdom it brought,
And so decided to eat it.
She ate some fruits and took one to
The sleeping Adam; made him eat!
Adam also ate the fruit brought;
They realized they were naked!
Eve was the first to fall in sin
And succumbed to the temptation;
She did not stop with her folly
But made her husband do the same!
The moment, they had eaten then,
Their nakedness, they realized;
They made loin-cloths out of fig leaves
to hide their nudity from God.
They hid amidst the garden trees,
But God called them in a loud voice;
Adam threw the blame upon Eve,
And ate the fruit because she gave!
When God asked Eve, she threw the blame
Upon the snake who tempted her;
Thus was the original sin
Committed by our first parents!
The Tempter knew how to deceive
The lady first, through her the man;
To make the man first eat the fruit
Was perhaps not an easier thing!
And so, the crafty devil lied;
The woman Eve in him believed;
They committed the first big sin,
For now, the Liar seemed to win!
‘The snake became accursed of all
Bellying its way all through its life;
And eat dust as long as it lived.' -
The punishment pronounced by God!
When God had asked both Adam, Eve,
If they disobeyed His command,
They tried to blame the next for it,
Persisting in their lie to God.
Eve would bear children with great pain;
And yearn for her husband all life;
Adam would have to till the soil,
And get food-crops by sweat and toil!
As Adam put the blame on Eve;
As though he knew not God's command;
They weren't aware of God's wisdom,
And hence were banished from Eden!
Had they accepted their fault then,
Perhaps God could have forgiven;
And mankind could have still been saved,
From exile from Eden Garden!

Blaming The Snake
Adam said it was the fault of Eve.
Eve blamed that serpent snake.
The snake tried blaming everyone else
No leg to stand on, he was a fake.
“Put some clothes on now my son.”
Nudist Adam said “Huh, no fun! ”
Eve came along wearing a grass skirt,
Made of fig leaves, clay and dirt.
Plucked from the garden to now pull weeds,
Forever kept away to work sweaty hard deeds.
Pain and suffering to be the way of life,
But worst of all was the curse to die!
Had that woman not tempted her man,
Adam might have stayed in Eden then.
Surely God would have created a new wife,
And Adam could have lived a very peaceful life.
But that thought is too simple and I lend my voice,
Remembering both partners were given a choice.
Do not blame the snake in the tempter’s lair,
You must do what’s right, no matter who is there!

Holy Matrimony
God made Adam – the first ‘he’,
From clay of earth,
And blew His breath.
God found him lonely;
He needed a mate;
It was not late.
So, He made Eve – the first ‘she’!
From Adam’s rib;
She looked lovely!
They ate the fruits
In Garden of Eden,
And lived quite happily!
But came satan
In serpent form,
And lied to Eve.
Eve ate the fruit
That God forbade
Committing sin.
She gave to Adam,
Who also ate:
Changed mankind’s fate!
God drove them both
Out of Eden
As rod forev’r.
God’s curse on Eve
–to suffer pain
of childbirth!
God’s curse on Adam
–to labor hard,
Until sweat falls!
‘Which man, woman
That God unites,
Let none undo.’
The first marriage
Happened on earth.
Thus childbirth came.
The two were one
In flesh and bone,
And not alone.
God’s blessings rife:
‘A Happy Wedded Life
in joy and strife.’

Garden Of Eden (Bible Poems For Children)
The garden of eden, was made
by God,
Adam, the first man, to ever
trod.
Beautiful trees, and plants
grew there,
Adam was happy, without a
care.
Tree of Life, and Knowledge
too,
Planted, in the garden grew.
The tree of Knowledge, God
forbid,
Do not touch, or he would rid.
A lost paradise would occur,
A magic kingdom, all a blur.
One day when Adam fell asleep,
God took a rib, made Eve so
sweet.
Satan came in form of a snake,
Tempted Eve, for goodness sake.
She ate the apple ripe and red,
gave it to Adam, Adam was fed.
A paradise was lost that day,
A working life began this way.

Adam and Eve Apple Fantasy
I am bored Adam
I am bored Eve
Let's walk together in the garden
It is afternoon Adam
It is afternoon Eve
Our tummies are empty
Let's have something to eat
It is beautiful garden of Eden
How wonderful the fruit trees!
Adam look honey
This beautiful Apple tree
No Eve this is the knowledge tree
Look Eve there is sign in the sky
Can't you see?
Lord command 'Don't eat from the apple tree'
Ha Ha Ha
Who is that?
I am serpent of the garden
Listen Adam
Listen Eve
Go pick the big apple
from the tree
Adam my honey
Do you hear me?
My stomach is aching
go get me this delicious apple
Eve I would not disobey the Lord
Oh Adam
Oh Honey
You seduce me Eve
Ooh Adam
Ooh Eve
Something happened after
we ate the apple
Go Adam get some Fig leaves
Adam Let's rest
under the shaded tree
Adam let's have babies
Eve let's have off-springs

Forbidden Fruit
Oscar brown jr
Eve and adam had a garden everything was great
Till one day a boy says pardon miss my name is snake
See that apple over yonder if youll take a bite
You and adam both are bound to have some fun tonight
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and taste it you dont wanna waste it
The lord had said in the beginning everything is free
Except that apple that leads to sinning so let that apple be
But eve got tempted so she tried it and as all chicks do
Teaser her man till he decided hed just try some too
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and bite it I bet youd be delighted
I hate to tell you all what followed the lord was most upset
Saw them making love and hollered what have you to add
And when they made a full confession the lord said hm I see
I guess Ill have to teach you a lesson about not minding me
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Youre all indebted now you gonna get it
The lord made eve adams madam have his kids and all
Placed some labour laws on adam and he made the snake to fall
Ever since the days of eden folks been sinful my
Nowadays theyre even eating apples in their pie
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and taste it you dont wanna waste it
Oh go ahead and bite it I bet youd be delighted
You always did it now youll gonna get it
Forbidden fruit

Born In Original Sin Sentence
didn't want to miss a chance schemes
old never let any chance go by themes
but some policy chances prove risky
was Adam angry first with Eve
who then put blame on sneaky snake
Eve was deceived so blame Adam
it was man Adam who deliberately sinned
Adam knew what he was choice dice doing
not like poor Eve who was conned deceived
neither took responsibility for their actions
if they had face copped up perhaps we would
have escaped born in original sin sentence?

The Making of a Man
When God made Adam long ago, He fashioned him supreme,
A billion thoughts that he might know his life was not a dream...
Thus no excuses could release that Man that God had made,
If by his sins he lost God's peace and through guilt was dismayed...
When God made Adam long ago, the angels gave God praise,
They did not treat Man as a foe, so new to Godly ways...
Yet Lucifer was mortified when Eve was introduced,
As God created from Man's side this female not refused...
When God made Adam long ago and Eve, his helpmate wife,
In whom new children were to grow when they made love and life,
Then Satan knew they would not die if children must exist...
And so he tricked them with a lie that they did not resist...
When God made Adam long ago, He knew him through and through,
He also let grace overflow, despite each sinful view...
Thus from God's Eden Man was sent and Adam's sons knew shame,
As through each day of sin they went, with each to bear the blame...
When God made Adam long ago, in time to see him fall,
He chose to send His Son below, a sacrifice for all...
God filled the Scriptures with this news, as prophets voiced His plans
Worldwide to Gentiles and to Jews dispersed across the lands...
When God made Adam long ago, He paused to count the cost!
For sin would wander to and fro and Hell would claim the lost!
Lord Jesus died, passed by Death's Door, with courage unsurpassed!
The making of a man, for sure... Our Saviour, first to last...

Created In God's Image
God's spirit yearned to recreate
Himself in human form...
He fashioned Adam to be great
With living blood so warm!
Five senses ruled his waking hours
Before his dreams were born,
But Lucifer, with jealous powers,
Looked on with mounting scorn!
'Is flesh to be eternal now? '
He pondered questions new...
'There must be more to this somehow!
Yet what am I to do?
This must not be! It can't be right!
I'll fight with my last breath! '
And so his spirit, black as night,
Grew plans for Adam's death!
When Eve awoke at Adam's side
For all eternity,
The Devil's eyes were opened wide
And fixed on trickery!
'She's weak as water, soft as clay,
As fluid as the sea...
With doubts I'll lead her trust astray -
Then she'll belong to ME! '
With words as subtle as a snake,
He slithered in her mind...
'Forbidden fruit! ? It's yours to take!
What secrets will you find?
What wisdom waits? What blessings there?
How can your heart ignore?
Discover truths God hates to share!
They'll shake you to the core! '
When Eve devoured all she could,
She laughed and Adam heard.
He, too, believed the fruit was good
And disobeyed God's word!
And so began mortality...
The Earth knows that full well!
While Satan's set for agony,
Please don't join him in Hell!
Lord Jesus died lost souls to save
And Mankind to restore...
Beyond this life... Beyond the grave...
Salvation evermore...

Adam And Eve
God created the first man, Adam,
out of the dust of the ground
He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,
but for Adam there was no helpmate found
So God put Adam into a deep sleep
and made a woman out of a rib of the man
In The Garden of Eden everything was perfect
until they ate the fruit which God had banned
God told Adam and Eve they could eat
from every tree of the garden except one
Then came along the serpent and tempted Eve
and the first sin to enter the world was done
Ever since that day that sin entered the world
everyone has sinned and needs a savior
That is the reason God sent his son to die for us
and only through faith in Christ is salvation's door
Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 10: 9 I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture.

Genesis BK XV
(ll. 872-881) And straightway God made answer unto him: "Tell me,
My son, why stealest thou away into the darkness with shame?
Thou didst not formerly feel shame before Me, but only joy.
Wherefore art thou humbled and abashed, knowing sorrow, covering
thy body with leaves, sad of heart and wretched in thy woe,
saying thou needest clothing, except thou hast eaten of the fruit
of the tree which I forbade thee?"
(ll. 882-886) And Adam again made answer: "My Lord! this woman,
this lovely maid, gave me the fruit into my hand, and I took it
in trespass against Thee. And now I clearly bear the token upon
me and know the more of sorrow."
(ll. 887-895) Then Almighty God questioned Eve: "Of what avail,
My daughter, were My abundant blessings, the new-created Paradise
and pleasant growing things, that thou shouldest stretch thy
hands with yearning unto the tree, and pluck the apples growing
on its boughs, and eat the deadly fruit in trespass against Me,
and give to Adam, when by My word it was forbidden to you both?"
(ll. 895-902) And the lovely woman, put to shame, made answer:
"The serpent, the deadly snake, with fair words tempted me, and
eagerly enticed me to that deed of sin and evil appetite, until I
basely did the deed and wrought the wrong, despoiled the tree
within the wood, as was not right, and ate the fruit."
(ll. 903-905) Then our Saviour, the Almighty Lord, decreed unto
the serpent, the guilty snake, an endless wandering, and said:
(ll. 906-917) "All thy life upon thy belly shalt thou go to and
fro upon the fields of the broad earth, accursed, so long as life
and spirit dwell within thee. Dust shalt thou eat all the days
of thy life for the grievous evil thou hast wrought. The woman
shall loathe and hate thee under heaven. Her foot shall crush
thy head, and thou shalt bruise her heel anew. There shall be
strife between your seed for ever, while the world standeth under
heaven. Now thou knowest clearly, thou foul tempter, what thy
life shall be."
A Tree's Fruit
Good fruit or bad fruit, a tree can only bear one,
This parable was taught by God's one and only Son.
First mentioned by John as a warning for the Pharisees to heed,
But being blind to The Truth, most of them would not believe.
Your life is the tree and your deeds are the fruit,
This is a simple analogy that it hard to dispute.
But the Pharisees who knew the Word and lived in the land,
Were rebuked by John the Baptist, as they didn't understand.
Christians need to produce fruit for the Lord and nothing less,
And all the fruit that we produce should be fruits of righteousness.
Our old nature will produce fruit that comes from the past,
Not only is this fruit bad, but it's the kind that won't last.
Not only is bearing good fruit The Lord's heart desire,
But trees that continue to bear bad fruit may be cast in the fire.
Within your own heart is where the good or bad fruit is stored,
And by your fruits men will know you, is made clear by The Lord.
The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life, was once said,
However, a tree that bears bad fruit may be eternally dead.
What fruit you produce is strictly your choice my dear friend,
And by this choice you will either be blessed or condemned.
( 03/2002)
A Review
the tree was loaded with apples
in the garden of Eden
and Eve was so Hungry
for apples she always dreamed of apples
even if Adam is just beside her
that jejune
she is the first jejemon,
and on that day when God was not watching
when the Snake was merely behaving like a Snake
she touches an apple
her dream
and he ate one and Adam so likes it
she takes a bite...
nothing new really, just a pass and review
of their story that we believe without any question at all
the moral lesson: reflect on ourselves, we are the consistent
gullible readers
we are never original on this.

Everything Were Symbols
in the garden of Eden
the apple, the snake,
Adam and Eve
and God
and why do we ask
if the apple was actually
an apricot, or that the snake
was not a cobra but a boa,
or that
Adam and Eve were actually
humans
or that God exists
or that indeed there was
really this garden of Eden?
they are all symbols
all figuratively speaking
metaphors of this
divinity and mortality
entwined
they are matters of
the heart
and why not let them
just be as they are
in our hearts, in our hearts
alone

The Fall of Paradise
(after John Milton)
I. Lucifer
Thus he rebelled without anyone stopping him,
wanted to put up his throne above, at times
equal to that of the almighty Creator
and approached others for this goal,
felt at times that his jealousy was noble
where he stood at the edge of the precipice
and thunder flashed ominous around him.
He dragged a third of once holy ones along
to all at once squander their lives,
joy, virtue and nobility
and along with them
later missed the glory, peace and love
of the heavens and knew
that he (the flaming son of the morning)
is trivial to the Most High (who is always honourable)
could not even stand in His shade
and through stars, he had torn, through the heavens
to declare war, as in his heart he wanted to win
as if insanity was eating
through every reason and sensibility
and had destroyed his nobility.
When he stood alone in front of Michael and thunderbolts,
suns and comets was thrown at him
at supreme command, he new pain and misery
was banned from heaven, with all of his rebellious team
was crackled down in flames
and in his heart he had to admit that it was just,
that he could not give life to anything
and could not comprehend or have love anymore;
as might, his splendour,
his own power had overwhelm him
and then he could still fall on his knees and beg for mercy
but he was far too proud for it
and he wanted to take revenge on the Almighty One
where he cunningly deceived man
and got some more victims for his own punishment
but for man God himself came to pay the price,
Lucifer was convinced that death on the cross
was the end of God, as God had become man,
in his heart Lucifer thought that he had won
and when God rose staying available for man
Lucifer could still not comprehend or explain love
or what it is to as God have the power to life.
II. After that initial awakening
After that initial awakening
Adam realised that every animal had a mate
and in him there was a longing
for a companion, for someone beautiful to love
and with infinite care God knew about his thoughts,
made him sleep and formed a woman from his flesh,
constructed a delightful charming being,
someone to match the longing of his soul.
Radiating purity and innocence
they stared awe struck
for long moment after long moment
when at first they became aware of each other.
God Himself bonded them in connubial love,
told them to multiply, to engage with each other
in the act of utter joy and there was sheer magic
and tenderness while in each other’s arms they did rest
Such sweet happiness, sprung from love
physical, spiritual and for God divine
and was in the tender care
with which they ruled the world.
They made sheer intimate passionate love,
without realising their nakedness
found beauty, love and tranquillity
in ever movement, in every tender gesture
and it was if there was magic to everything,
as if in each insect, animal, plant and tree
they found something inspiring
while they lived with freedom of choice.
III. Glorious did that snake appear
Glorious did that snake appear,
with its scales glittering in the sun,
in a place of perfection
its charm, its voice did stun.
Its deception mixed truth and lie,
enticed the woman Eve,
to reach for more knowledge,
to reach for godliness.
To her the love
of her husband Adam was secure
and in perfection, in sheer innocence
she looked at that snake with an own radiance.
The longer they talked the more she longed,
not for the fruit of life, for immortality,
but to enter into the unknown
and by disobedience the fall of man did begin.
The taste was sweet but mortality was in it,
it made both Adam and Eve aware
of their sheer nakedness,
brought destruction to a world without strive,
but still the two humans instinctively knew
that in all of this, in the sin that they entered in
God had a plan for the salvation of man,
a plan that was unspoken but existed as a token of love.
IV. How will I now see the face of God or of His angels?
(Adam after the fall of man)
How will I now see the face
of God or any of His angels?
Will it be with sheer joy,
in a blaze of clear light?
Or will I forever be afraid,
be scared of wrath, of judgement of the brightness
that reveals the darkness of my heart,
that reveals the darkness of my passions?
In this glade where I am hiding,
where leaves are covering
my beloved Eve and me,
I long for some tranquillity
but my own iniquity, our sin
is darkening everything
and there’s shame,
so much of it
that I do not know
how to face God the righteous One,
or even one of his angel messengers
and I am longing to be forever hidden.
V. There was some tranquillity in His voice
(Adam after the fall of man)
There was some tranquillity in His voice
while He called us to appear,
to where He was wandering in the garden
but in nakedness we were hiding.
His piercing brightness made the darkness
where we were hiding day,
and He had seen us sin,
had seen us changing the way that things were
to devastation, to pain and suffering
and He told us about the earth being cursed,
to bring forth thorns and thistles,
about the struggle to earn a living,
about death that at a time will be approaching,
will be approaching everything that lives
and He made clothes of skin,
to cover our nakedness
told about the time when He would come,
to crush the head of the snake,
to die for our sins like the lamb
that He had slaughtered for us.
We knew that the punishment for sin was death,
that all things living would change,
with lions, leopards, wolfs
preying on gazelles, on antelope.
It was clear that His words were true,
that He truly loved us
even though we had fallen to sin
and His eyes were full of pain
when He looked at us
and we did not really realize
the destruction, the pain and the hardship
that we had brought about
not until much later, when our son Cain
killed his brother Able
but we cuddled together
when He left us and loved each other.
As I knew that day by day
our bodies was weakening,
saw the strain, the sorrow
on my darling, Eve’s, face
while I held her while she was crying
another plan to reverse things
suddenly came to mind
and I wanted to get fruit from the tree of life
but He knew all things
and before I could even reach that tree
He banished us from the garden of Eden,
driving us out into the wilderness
and I struggled to understand this
while mighty brilliant cherubim ready for battle
was patrolling at the entrance to Eden,
with drawn flaming swords.

The Modern Eve
From rib of Adam, made was Eve
By God, as Adam lonely was;
Eve gave the apple to her mate,
And both together in haste, ate,
And banished were from Eden’s gate.
Eve brought on her a curse of God
To deliver offspring of man;
And cry for her children until
The end of world is called by God
And evil-doers, given rod.
With excess fat, less muscle pow’r,
Eve still was better Adam’s half;
And did the house-hold chores for him,
And nursed the children with great love-
A job, all men find difficult.
New problems came when Eve had tried
To share the role of Adam too;
And brought turmoil to home, work-place;
And children got neglected fast-
A blunder Eve does not relent!
Yet, Adam’s man; and Eve, woman!
Although equal in eyes of God,
And two resembled each other,
Were made with purpose different-
A truth forgot in modern world!
So, Eve was wife to Adam first;
And mothered mankind’s progeny;
And wore the garbs of sister too,
And loving daughter, grand-daughter-
Each role important in own ways.
None can imagine present world,
Without Eve’s contribution great-
Yet, plight of today’s woman stands
Terrible, horrible and sad-
Will Adams set this right at once?
The modern Eve in doldrums lies,
And cannot cope with world’s demands
Of increasing roles, but poor pay,
And sacrifice of time, priceless-
Awake to reality, Eve.

Adam, the Apple the Snake less Eve
Adam is the man
obedient son of God
placed as the favored one in Paradise
and of all the fruits
he must all eat
except
the Apple (they say it could
be an apricot
or a pear, some ways to confuse
this myth of an apple
of discord)
the source of the test
for the temptation
to eat or not to eat? that is the
question, and then comes the villain
Snake
the Seducer promising that if Adam
eats the Apple
he will know
Right from Wrong
Pleasure from Pain
Sorrow from Joy
Is this not good after all for Man
to be Enlightened? I ask.
Let us not put Eve in the picture
even then
granting that the myth is true
or is it a way of literature telling
us
Man must not know much
He must only obey
and not Use his own Mind
If i were Adam, i will do the same
Less Eve, I shall grab the apple and
chew it well, swallow it all
lick the last dropp of its pulp.
I like to be responsible for myself Now.
To know Myself
That i have committed Sin
or that i have pleased God sometimes
or that i have too
displeased Him.
The Apple
Even without the Snake I know
I shall love the taste
And happier outside the gates
of Paradise
Lots of places to go, Now,
adventures to make, which of course,
enlarges the volume of the Bible
a thicker book, more pages to read
and increase its sales.
