Sonnet: Watch Your Habits
God is with you, wherever you may go;
He is the Light that lights the darkest night;
He protects us against devils and foe;
He gives us strength of will, divine fore-sight.
A sleeping man knows not how much he snores;
A greedy man desires for all things;
A burglar breaks open all kinds of doors;
A ear can’t hold the weight of much ear-rings.
The sinful man by habit commits sins;
The man of God is on a preaching spree;
All sinful souls in God’s grace must we rinse;
The dwelling-place of God must be sin-free!
Prayer’s a dialogue with God in life;
A great weapon that protects man in strife.

Sonnet: Men Collude in Sin
Some mortal sins are of convenience,
Like adultery, murder and false-witness
Between two individuals or more; hence
People commit them without harness.
The devils link the minds amongst sinners,
To sign a pact of mutual sinful ‘joy’;
And soon turn out to be real winners,
While sinful souls imagine they enjoy!
The bond grows stronger with the passing time;
The sinful habit turns now addiction;
The partners sin in almost any clime;
Until the devils bring on them affliction.
But lo! Tis late for remorse, repentance;
’Tis time for God to pronounce His sentence.

Sonnet-All Things Happen Through God
Yeah, Man can't solve all problems in his life,
And only when he can't, he thinks of God;
No man on earth needs God if not for strife;
Man thinks he can do things all, tho’ he's clod.
The devils lie that sin gives joy all life;
And men become a victim of false hope;
Man ventures forth in sinful ways so rife,
And God gives woes to check him- he can't cope!
And when his sins affect his body, mind;
The fear of death, disease, suff'rings loom high;
Man thinks of God again; So, Peace he'll find;
His soul is cleansed and no more like pig-sty.
God gives more grace to souls in contrition;
Man does more good as acts of attrition.

If God loves you, you’re saved
If sinful, joyous paths, you undertake;
You cannot go far as God watches you;
If God forbids, such journeys, you can't make;
He gives men freedom; punishments also.
God knows man errs so often by nature;
His pangs of sinful passions, desires;
And does these things if mature, immature;
While devils tempt; man slips into mires.
But not for long as God pulls him afree;
His guilt and conscience make him to repent;
Atonement makes his soul pure, again free;
To make up for misdeeds, now man gets bent.
The love of God for man's soul is so great;
That devils cannot sow discord or hate.

Pray to Mary!
Pray to Mary, ask her help!
The Queen of Heaven is the one,
Who wears the stars and sun for crown;
The Mother of Jesus, God’s Son:
All miracles, she can get done.
Pray to Mary, plead to her,
To free the world from sin and crimes;
To free the minds from sinful thoughts;
To free the atheists, heretics;
To free the devil-stricken souls!
Pray to Mary, beg mercy:
Of souls who won’t believe in God;
To spread the Word of God to all;
To free earth from Nature’s onslaughts;
To safe-guard man from disasters.
The rosary is the weapon
To free the world from all evils;
The rosary is the device
To drive away devils and vice;
The rosary is Mary’s choice
Of prayer by all men, soul-wise!

Lenten Season,2009
It’s Lent-time once again;
Make it a boon, not bane;
Empty your soul’s sin-bins;
Let grace of God, souls rinse!
It’s time to pray a lot;
Fasting avoids soul’s rot;
Keep off all deadly sins;
The Holy Spirit wins!
‘We know the foe in depth;
On sinful mud, we slept;
We do all sins again;
Our grace is on the wane! ’
Lent is the time to think;
Our follies, we must shrink;
Let good thoughts fill the mind;
From evil, let’s rescind.
Take care each moment then;
Let’s move nearer heaven;
Keep off satan’s rampage;
Christians have advantage.
Preserve the body pure;
Sufferings, let’s more endure;
The God, most High knows this;
He’ll give us our due bliss!
Pray every now and then;
Read Bible much often;
Read about saints on earth,
Who suffered ev’n from birth!
With God, let’s reconcile;
Sin, bitter is like bile;
Confess as many times;
Say prayers, hymns and rhymes.
Let’s win our divine war;
Heal will our soul’s sin-scar;
Lent is the time aright;
Let’s make our dark lives bright!
Forget the sinful past;
Good things alone will last;
Satan’s a mere actor;
God is the clear victor.

Sonnet: The Love of God
The love of God knew us ’fore conception;
That love gave us a human form at birth;
God’s love remains free from all deception;
The same protects and guides our lives on earth.
The love of God is unilateral;
Man can’t reciprocate the love of God;
The love of God for man is eternal;
The same grants mercy and a divine rod!
Could God then watch man lead a shattered life?
Does God want souls to land in hell’s abyss?
Would God forsake man in moments of strife?
The Maker wants all souls attain His bliss.
Why does then man forget Almighty God?
We ought to live as per His every word.

God's Protection
Each of us has a course to follow,
God knows every cross I bare,
God knows the battles brewing,
He protect me with His care.
God has set the course I follow,
He knows how much that I can bare,
God will help me fight my battles,
When I go to Him in prayer.
God has given me the power,
He has set the course we share,
God will keep me in the battles,
He protects me with His care.
God protects me with His Spirit,
He delivers me from care,
God defends me in my valleys,
When I go to Him in prayer.
God rejoices in my worship,
He protects me from all harm,
God has helped me win my battles,
Wrapped securely in His arms.

Sonnet: Heaven is for Pure Souls
A Turkey towel, sodden is heavy;
A sinful soul can't rise to Heav'n above;
A drowned man's lungs are air-less, watery;
The sinful soul to hell drops like a dove.
How can a glutton make his body light?
The anchor out of water is heavy;
How can man see well on a Moonless night?
To give up bad-habits is not easy.
The dust-bin’s meant to hold all littered things;
The garbage-dump has house-hold refuse spilled;
The library has books good for earthlings;
The soul of man must always be grace-filled.
Containers must contain just things aright;
Sunlight is day and darkness fills the night.

Poem: In rhyme
I know I am quite sane!
I know, I am a boon, not bane;
Yet, every now and then, I get the cane!
Still, I can't hold God in disdain;
Many who I meet can well feign!
But, what have they tried to gain?
The wheel of Life must turn again;
Sometimes, I end up in a lane!
Love of God is my ambition main;
Sometimes, God gives me intense pain;
Will not the scorching Sun be followed by rain?
My sufferings make me more sane;
My sinful desires are on the wane;
From committing more sins, I try to refrain;
And the devils, I try not to entertain!

Sonnet: Love is Better than Lust
’Tis true that lust offers a great joy
To beginners, but in the longer run
By habit, live most in this vice and toy:
While life becomes always an eclipsed sun!
How long can hearts engage in sinful sport?
No doubt, the Tempter goads us on and on;
When life leads us to things of big import,
Can we this shameful attitude adorn?
Lust’s veil of beauty lasts but not for long!
The stain it makes on souls is tough to cleanse;
When sung, unenchanting becomes its song
And like a bolt from blue, God drives good sense!
Better is love than lust and this God wants
A man to know, ’fore he to God hymns chants.

Me, A Sinner
Should it occasion much surprise
That criminals should deal in blame,
As all of us, and recognise
The full depth of another's shame.
The burglar blames the bigamist
As something partially insane,
And Bluebeards equally insist
That burglars are a sinful bane.
And, getting further up the scale,
To normal men, like you and I,
The rule is never known to fail,
While egotism throned on high,
Sets cunning traps for you and me,
Blind with the illusion of our worth,
To ape the smirking Pharisee,
And see sin stalking o'er the earth.
In a community of saints,
Where all sins save fault-finding die,
One still might look for grave complaints
Concerning haloes worn awry.
But as this sinful earth is trod,
He who, of Jezebel or Cain,
Says, 'There, but for the grace of God,
Go I,' is the most nearly sane.

My Faith Keeps Me Safe
During times of great despair
I know my God is always there
He protects me from the evil eye
His hands reach down from the sky
To give me strength and give me faith
My god will always keep me safe
When I feel like I can't go on
My faith will always keep my strong
When I have no more tears to cry
When I feel like the world is passing me by
I know he will prevail
And lead me to his heavenly well
Its filled with hope, joy, and love
The water is from up above
I know he is there for me
Like he will always and forever be
Open your heart and let him in
He can show you the light within
Let him fill you up with his grace
When things are not going like you planned
Have faith
He gave me two angels to love
They are my life, my hope, my dreams
I know what A Mother's Love means
I like being on this team
I feel so happy and filled with delight
I can barley go to sleep at night
I can't wait to get to his heavenly place
My faith will always keep me safe

Whatever it takes Lord
Whatever it takes Lord, for Your will is best
my spirit is in turmoil and I cannot rest.
The sin permeates deeply affecting my soul
and I am in need Your cleansing to make me whole.
Whatever it takes Lord, don't hold anything back
for I have slipped far away becoming so slack.
It is best that I face up to what I have done
I've grieved Your Holy Spirit and wounded Your Son.
Whatever it takes Lord, I deserve all I get.
my sin is before me and won't let me forget.
So I kneel before You and in penitence bow
in need of Your help to work it all through somehow.
Whatever it takes Lord, do not spare any pain
for this sinful life of mine has hurt You again.
I wish to confess these evil deeds I deplore
and to walk back in fellowship with You once more.
Whatever it takes Lord, I want to let them go
these sins that I have been chasing hinder me so.
I wish to put these sinful desires behind me
so that I can become the man You want me to be.
Whatever it takes Lord, I'll face up to the costs
for it will be worth it to remove all the dross.
To lift the great burden and free me up to show
the fruit of Your Spirit and like Jesus to grow.
*********
Whatever it cost Roy, I was willing to pay.
Wherever it took Roy, I went all the way.
Whatever it needed, I was willing to give.
Whatever it required Roy, I died that you might live.
Whatever it demanded Roy, My life I have given.
You need only to confess it Roy, to be forgiven.
from one small sinful habit
devils lay the snare
for many more grievous ones

Sonnet: Rededication to God
Show me O God, the things I ought to do;
’Tis better that I act as per your wish;
My desires of life could anger you;
For, man by birth remains sinful/ selfish.
You only know what for you’d made me, God;
Let me perform the roles you assign me;
Success or failure needs your divine nod;
With duty done, I see Eternity.
Restrain me Lord from doing sinful deeds;
My time is short and keeping soul pure, tough;
From birth, you cater to my earthly needs;
Just help me Lord when weather turns too rough.
My life, I surrender to you, most High;
Your Will’s my goal on earth until I die!

Sonnet: O, Look at Your Heart
Look at your heart; O look within your heart;
Take just a glance; it looks so unsightly;
Think of your sins; O think about your part;
And start living henceforth quite uprightly.
Look at your heart; Look in its recesses;
0 look into its every corner /nooks;
Think of your past, much sinful excesses;
Drive out the evil spirits and the spooks.
Look at your heart; Why God does not reside?
Confess your sins; repent, fill it with grace;
God is our Master, who must soul preside;
Pray to Him fervently; strengthen His base.
Look at your heart, the dwelling-place of God;
Let it be pure to enter His Abode.

Sonnet: Give Me A Heart Anew, O God
Give me a heart anew, O God, I pray;
The one I have is sinful and impure;
Forgive my sins once more, Lord show my way;
Just say one word, Thy grace will heal me sure.
Give me a heart anew, let me begin,
To walk the road, the way you want me to;
Let me never commit a mortal sin;
Give in to temptations, the devils woo.
Give a heart anew, O God, once more;
I promise to keep it sin free lifetime;
Opened, you have for me another door;
Let me not fail to make my life sublime.
Give me a heart anew, O God, again;
And give thy grace to keep it off sin's stain.

Sonnet: Repent
If you’re alive today, it is because
Of God’s infinite mercy upon you;
So, spend this grace-period for Maker’s cause;
Your duties better, you must try to do.
If you’re aren’t sick like how some others are,
God loves you still, expecting more from you;
So, look within your heart and mind and war
The devils’ trends and live a life that’s true.
If you are not in added strife, think well;
God wishes that you do a lot more good;
He wants you to avoid the Fire of Hell;
Amend your sinful life and take soul-food.
The wise man lives because of faith in God;
All evil souls await the Maker’s rod.

Justified And Saved
With our heart we do believe, and in Christ we are justified,
When in faith we do receive, The One who for all men died.
With the mouth as we confess, from our sins we are saved,
And with our life we attest, in sin we no longer are enslaved.
No longer enslaved in our sin, as God grants us a better life,
A life that is centered in Him, our loving Savior, Jesus Christ.
He who died a death on a tree, to pay sin’s penalty all of us,
So in Christ we can be free, when in Him we place our trust.
Christ who died now is risen, and seated at God’s right hand,
And all power to Him is given; in The One we take our stand.
He grants power to all those, sinful men, who once were lost,
Who do believe that He rose, and believe in Calvary’s Cross.
We are justified by His Grace, then seated in Heaven above,
But left upon this earthly place, to share with all Christ’s love.
Love that saves sinners like me, from a dark and sinful earth,
To live through all of Eternity, through the power of New Birth.
By Christ’s Spirit I am Born Again, to become a Child of God,
To be Christ’s Light to all men, while upon this earth we trod.
So they too, can be justified, although they may be depraved,
For The Lord will be glorified, on that day they too, are saved.

Intimations Of Immortality (In Answer To William Wordsworth)
I
Love is something that we see
in a eternal light
with a own illumination in the darkest night
and its goodness is more than mere charity
as if immortality comes to it
when it is true and sincere,
when we really hold someone dear
and it fills our souls bit by tiny bit
and where our lives are only fleeting
we long for some perfection,
something more to our affection,
something that goes beyond each meeting
of the human kind
something of the divine,
something rare past fine,
that we try to define in the human mind.
II
We notice the sun that hides during the night
but returns daily with a kind of celestial light
and view it as necessary to maintain life,
we notice the ocean stretching beyond mere sight
and even at times the hills seems eternal,
the seasons that comes and go
the falling rain, the winter snow,
volcanoes that seem infernal
holds to us a special place
are all things that we view as being constant
and for life on some of them we are dependant
but we only live by amazing grace.
Yet everything is fleeting and transitory,
stars explode; their energy at a time is spent
and it is this earth’s story
that all things are evanescent.
III
Only God is eternal and immortal,
and His power with which He sustains things
while to us who are merely mortal
by His grace there are daily awakenings
and with every new birth
His unconditional love is expressed
as involvement from the divine on this earth
and continually we are blessed
while rainbows hold a own secret message,
while there is life in every meadow, grove, and stream
and His power and presence isn’t just a dream
but is expressed from eternity and still acts in this age.
