Sonnet: O, Look at Your Heart
Look at your heart; O look within your heart;
Take just a glance; it looks so unsightly;
Think of your sins; O think about your part;
And start living henceforth quite uprightly.
Look at your heart; Look in its recesses;
0 look into its every corner /nooks;
Think of your past, much sinful excesses;
Drive out the evil spirits and the spooks.
Look at your heart; Why God does not reside?
Confess your sins; repent, fill it with grace;
God is our Master, who must soul preside;
Pray to Him fervently; strengthen His base.
Look at your heart, the dwelling-place of God;
Let it be pure to enter His Abode.

Sonnet-Easter's Coming Fast
The Lent has started once again this year;
The time to fast, abstain from spirits, meat;
The time to curb amorous sounds by ear;
The time to be holy; pray more, less eat.
Let’s clean our minds of cob-webs of past sins;
Let’s mop our heart's floor of its sinful stains;
Let’s grace-paint walls and empty soul's sin-bins;
Let’s sacrifice, for God's sake, suffer pains.
The sufferings of Christ is fresh in mind;
His sacred blood shed on the Cross is true;
God's Love redeeming man from hell, we find;
Let’s have remorse for sins and change life's hue.
Let’s do the 'Way of the Cross' fervently;
Amend our lives for God more silently.

Man Sins Without an End!
The heart of man is evil to the core;
The mind of man sinfully does some more;
The mouth of man utters words unkind, sore;
The soul of man is full of sins of yore!
For long, we’ve sinned against our Lord, our God;
For long, His patience spared us from His rod;
We’ve failed to heed or do as per His Word;
How odd that man can’t stay pure in his thought!
Our sinful habits bring us curses great;
Our suffering and strife cannot abate;
This is but our making and not just fate;
The road to heaven’s narrow; So’s the Gate!
We must agree we disobey our Lord;
We’ve failed to keep the ten Commands He gave;
When misfortune then strikes, we rant and rave;
Man alienates from His one living God!
Why do those things that will displease the Lord?
Why sin endlessly, not fearing His rod?
We heeded not to prophets sent by God;
Man’s sinfulness and habits look so odd!
Repent and reconcile for time is short!
Our sinful habits, we must now abort;
Let grace of God cleanse every human heart;
With soul all pure, we must from earth depart.
The disasters we meet, may be from God,
Perhaps reminding man of all his sins;
We must then heed to every word of His’,
So that, we may partake eternal bliss!

Recipe to Heaven
Acknowledge God’s supreme power;
Have faith in the omniscient God;
Follow what conscience tells in life;
Ask God’s forgiveness for past sins.
Confess sins, reconcile with God;
Empty soul off all sinful trash;
Repent for trespasses past;
Erase blunders and faults done.
Promise to lead a life that’s pure;
Get God’s help to fight Satan;
Dress the soul with garb of grace;
Carry your cross, following Jesus.
Do your duty in all ways;
Surrender your soul to God;
Walk in the footsteps of Christ;
Set your eyes’ gaze towards heaven.
Enter heaven through the narrow gate!

At the Cross-roads!
People are at the cross-roads!
They know not the right from the wrong;
They know not God from the creature;
They know not what sin is!
All nations are at the cross-roads!
Their leaders forget who makes them;
They rule without a heart or fear of God;
They’re sinful, selfish to the core!
The world is at the cross-roads!
God anger shows through Nature’s furies;
Perverted are the people’s minds;
Devils ready more souls for hell!
Confess your sins to God today;
Repent, resolve to sin no more;
Pray fervently to God for grace;
Just Jesus saves the human race.

With all my heart, let me abide in Him;
With all my heart, let me be righteous;
With all my heart, let me not go astray;
With all my heart, let me keep your Words.
God knows all secrets of the human heart;
He forms all hearts and considers all that they do;
The Lord moves hearts of Kings to make decrees;
Only fools say in hearts, ‘There is no God! '

How to Pray?
Pray incessantly;
Pray most fervently;
Pray with all your heart;
God will do His part!
Pray most sensibly;
Pray most effectively;
Pray deep from your heart;
Pray as if an art!
Pray for prolonged time;
Pray in any clime;
Pray by singing rhymes;
God’s answers chime!
Pray in holy place;
Pray with heav’nly gaze;
Pray for human race;
Pray in many ways.
Let prayers rise up high;
Let prayers pierce the sky;
Let prayers touch God’s heart,
As blessings divine start!

God’s Favor
I did nothing to gain God’s Favor, while living out a life of sin,
But, to me He sent The Savior, changing my heart deep within.
God changed my life’s behavior, and now my life I give to Him,
And though my heart may waver, His Holy Spirit remains within.
For my sins, as dark as night, God had sent for me a sacrifice,
God made my sins snowy white, by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Moving me from wrong to right, when for me He paid the price,
Which lead me into His Light, from my darkness, into New Life.
It wasn’t me who sought the face, of The God in Heaven above,
Instead, it was all of Grace, when He poured on me all His Love.
It was me, who God embraced; as God I wasn’t even thinking of,
Yet my sins God would erase, through Jesus and Calvary’s love.
It was God, who loved me first, for God moved upon my heart,
God had saved me at my worst, allowing me a brand new start.
While living in a world accursed, He helps me from sin to depart,
My course in life God reversed, with His Spirit, now in my heart.
I’ll never know, just how and why, I was favored by God on High,
But with His Favor I want to be, God’s witness so that all can see,
The Love God showed in His Son, who died for me and everyone,
So they can come to the place, where they too, accept His Grace.

On ASH WEDNESDAY
Ash your body;
Wear sack-cloth;
Fast and abstain;
Reconcile with God.
Ask forgiveness
For sins past;
Pray fervently
For soul’s grace.
Meditate well;
Open your heart;
Offer your life
To Jesus Christ.
Humble yourself;
Ask God’s help
To lead a life pure
Obeying His code.

Sonnet: Give Me A Heart Anew, O God
Give me a heart anew, O God, I pray;
The one I have is sinful and impure;
Forgive my sins once more, Lord show my way;
Just say one word, Thy grace will heal me sure.
Give me a heart anew, let me begin,
To walk the road, the way you want me to;
Let me never commit a mortal sin;
Give in to temptations, the devils woo.
Give a heart anew, O God, once more;
I promise to keep it sin free lifetime;
Opened, you have for me another door;
Let me not fail to make my life sublime.
Give me a heart anew, O God, again;
And give thy grace to keep it off sin's stain.

Lenten Season,2009
It’s Lent-time once again;
Make it a boon, not bane;
Empty your soul’s sin-bins;
Let grace of God, souls rinse!
It’s time to pray a lot;
Fasting avoids soul’s rot;
Keep off all deadly sins;
The Holy Spirit wins!
‘We know the foe in depth;
On sinful mud, we slept;
We do all sins again;
Our grace is on the wane! ’
Lent is the time to think;
Our follies, we must shrink;
Let good thoughts fill the mind;
From evil, let’s rescind.
Take care each moment then;
Let’s move nearer heaven;
Keep off satan’s rampage;
Christians have advantage.
Preserve the body pure;
Sufferings, let’s more endure;
The God, most High knows this;
He’ll give us our due bliss!
Pray every now and then;
Read Bible much often;
Read about saints on earth,
Who suffered ev’n from birth!
With God, let’s reconcile;
Sin, bitter is like bile;
Confess as many times;
Say prayers, hymns and rhymes.
Let’s win our divine war;
Heal will our soul’s sin-scar;
Lent is the time aright;
Let’s make our dark lives bright!
Forget the sinful past;
Good things alone will last;
Satan’s a mere actor;
God is the clear victor.

Two Old Friends
Preacher went up to the Golden Gate,
And met God there,
With the glow of love in his flowing hair.
I'm dreamin' of a time when love and music,
Is everywhere.
Can you see that time comin'?
No my son that time has gone,
There's things to do.
The world has changed since I first met you.
Back when The Band played Rock of Ages,
In their prime,
And the old juke joint was rockin'...
Oh Lord there's so much hate,
In a world where we're from another place.
Show me how to be like you.
See no evil, hear no evil,
Feel no evil in my heart.
In my heart, in my aching heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my old black heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my beating heart.
Sky had turned a lotta shades of gray,
As they walked on,
And a gentle rain fell down on them.
They found faith in the way things are and,
The way things change,
And they said goodbye like two old friends.
Take me up to the mountains high,
Or a building top where the spirits fly.
Show me how to be like you.
See no evil, feel no evil,
Fear no evil in my heart.
In my heart, in my aching heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my old black heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my beating heart.
Oh Lord there's so much hate,
In a world where we're from another place.
Show me how to live like you.
See no evil, hear no evil,
Feel no evil in my heart.
In my heart, in my aching heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my old black heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
In my beating heart.

The Way To God's Heart
God's heart is the seed of gloom
There he's springs and his love loom
Sorrow is the path one weary boy trods
To heaven's heart, the heart of God's
The weary boy wallows in sorrows past
Till God's heart he reaches at very last
In sorrow the weary boy does vent
To God's heart where his sins repent.
With sorrow God sews him to his breast
In his heart's palm his sorrows lay rest
To know sorrow is to understand
And live in truth of God's heartland

Oh, Heart
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you beat?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you weap?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you hide?
Oh heart, oh heart, what lies inside?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you cry?
Oh heart, oh heart, why do you despise?
Oh heart, oh heart, why are you weak?
Oh heart, oh heart, why can't you speak?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you burn?
Oh heart, oh heart, why can't you learn?
Oh heart, oh heart, what went wrong?
Oh, heart, oh heart, can't you be strong?
Oh heart, oh heart, why are you blue?
Oh heart, oh heart, where are you?

The Heart of Man
For all, it’s the heart of man, which drives his entire lifelong plan,
The heart being the central force, that guides one’s entire course.
All our hearts are fueled by one; that father of lies or God’s Son,
As the spirit which resides within, is one of God or a spirit of sin.
Each man is born into this life, paved with trouble and with strife,
As sin is in complete control, with Satan, master over each soul.
A choice must be made by all, this since the time of Adam’s fall,
One to allow God to enter in, or to remain controlled by your sin.
Friend, every single human heart, is controlled by sin at the start,
But, as we become Born Again, God’s Spirit takes control within.
With God in control of our heart, old sinful ways begin to depart,
Born of God’s Spirit from above, He fills our heart with His Love.
His freedom to our heart comes, when in Christ we’re made sons,
Eternal Sons, of The Living God, while we are on this earthly sod.
Christ died so all men could live, the New Life that Christ will give,
To all men who truly believe, a brand new heart, they shall receive.
Please note the sinful heart of man, was not a part of God’s plan,
But God sent His Son to us all, to deliver hearts from Adam’s fall,
And to give each heart a New Life, through His Son, Jesus Christ,
A life rendered holy and set free, to live with God’s Son Eternally.

Blest are the pure in heart
Blest are the pure in heart,
For they shall see our God;
The secret of the Lord is theirs;
Their soul is Christ’s abode.
The Lord, Who left the heavens
Our life and peace to bring,
To dwell in lowliness with men
Their Pattern and their King.
Still to the lowly soul
He doth Himself impart;
And for His dwelling and His throne
Chooseth the pure in heart.
Lord, we Thy presence seek;
May ours this blessing be;
Give us a pure and lowly heart,
A temple meet for Thee.

My Heart Again
It is again, in the widths of darkness,
It is again, seeking for happiness,
It is again, looking for pureness,
My heart again, yes my heart.
My heart hurts, Burning the same way,
My heart hurts, looking for the same day,
My heart hurts, facing the same history
My heart again, Yes my heart.
Why now, you make me blue?
Why now, should you put me in glue?
Why now, living me without a clue?
My heart again, Yes my heart.
Its you who told me to run away,
Its you, who said it was never okay,
Its you, who is a wild cherry,
My heart again, yes my heart.
Please my heart be sure,
Please my heart make me pure,
Please my heart be my cure,
PLEASE MY HEART NOT AGAIN.

Angel Heart...
Lost and alone in the dark my heart it dies,
Strangled by all the pain and hurt and lies.
Drenched in my sins my soul is steeped,
My light of life is growing weak...
My heart is dying and turning dark,
In the darkness it's falling short of the mark.
This endless night has become my prize,
It takes my dreams and robs my eyes...
If the key to life is glaring clear,
Then why am I stood alone here?
I beckon my angel to this place,
Where she can fill my world with grace...
She carries evil from my shoulders,
She gives me strength to be much bolder.
She reaches out to heartache so grand,
She heals it all with the touch of her hand...
So filled with hope I stride forth anew,
My soul reborn because of you.
And I feel again that love can start,
For an angel is playing with my heart...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Perspective
I wanted to sing a song of praise, so I sat down and wrote,
a song that glorified my Christ in every word and note.
I spent so much time in word and rhyme, that I almost got in wrong...
I almost lost my Savior in the song.
I wanted to build a place to pray, where Christian souls could meet,
a church filled with the Spirits touch, a sweet, solemn retreat.
I planned so much and worked so hard in every brick I stacked,
I somehow lost my joy within the act.
I wanted to share the redeemers love and preach salvations plan,
to let a lost and sinful world know that Jesus died for man.
I placed myself above those sins, and to myself I lied,
and lost the message in my foolish pride
I want to give my heart to God, to step out on the limb.
To put my sinful pride aside and define myself through Him.
Why is it so hard to truly let my Savior take control?
To live for Him with Heart...and Mind...and Soul.
God wants my obedience... but first he wants my heart.
God wants me to share his love...but first I have to start,
to reflect upon my motives and the plan He has for me....
To never lose the view from Calvary.

The Human Heart II (From The Holy Bible)
Pray in your heart and rejoice in the LORD
God hardens hearts and melts them just like snow;
Return to God with all your hearts contrite;
The LORD looks at your heart and knows your thoughts!
God searches hearts and touches them for good;
All that is in your heart is known to God!
As Saul left Samuel's place, God changed his heart;
Serve the LORD faithfully with all your heart.
‘I am with you, heart and soul, ' says the Lord;
How wicked is the human heart at times!
Take heart again and let no fear seize it;
God is the one who knows each human heart.
The Lord discerns the human heart too well;
All turn your hearts to Him in obedience,
And live by his decrees and his commands;
Be glad in heart for good things God has done.
God knows your heart's desires before you;
God had put his wisdom in Solomon's heart;
He sees the integrity of your heart;
Let hearts of those who seek the lord, rejoice!
God tests the heart and understands secrets;
God forgives when you repent from your heart;
Set your heart in seeking God all your life;
Let pride not fill your heart and bring God's wrath!
God puts both fear and courage in man's heart;
Lay up his words upon your heart with care;
Conceal no sin nor hide your guilt in heart;
God knows the cravings of the human heart!
Never harbor malice against others;
Afill your heart with joy as it pounds, leaps;
Praise God with all your heart and render thanks;
Love the Lord Almighty God with your heart!
