Sonnet: Lord, Let Me be of Better Use to Thee
O, thread me through Thy needle’s eye, my Lord,
And darn the tattered Cloth of Creation!
That men and devils, bruised and sowed discord,
Amongst all earthlings and every nation.
And make me tongs, to grip each iron-piece
Of man, on the anvil of creation;
And hammer them into their forms with ease!
Give me O Lord, this useful vocation!
Use me as water for thine clay, O Lord!
To give it desired softness and make
Intended pots of every kind from sod,
Before the earthly furnace can them bake.
Put me to better use, Almighty God,
Although, Thou made me also from mere Clod!

Sonnet: A Prayer to God
Amidst all chaos Lord, bring order God;
Amidst the darkness Lord, show me Thine light;
Amidst the atheism, give me Thine word;
Amidst my weakness show, Thine divine might.
Amidst life’s sultriness Lord, give me breeze;
Amidst the mire Lord, could Thou me pull?
Amidst life’s stresses Lord, give me mind’s peace;
Amidst the storms of life, give me a lull.
Amidst my despair Lord, give me new hope;
Amidst my temptations, God, let me win;
Amidst life’s hilly tracts, show me a slope;
Amidst my struggles Lord, let me not sin.
Amidst my foes and woes, show me haven;
Amidst my worldliness, give me Heaven.

The Vessel That I am!
I am a weak vessel.
Strengthen me, O Lord!
Help me fill up to the brim
With virtues of all sorts.
I am a small vessel.
Make me hold more, O Lord!
Take away my porosity;
Let things remain intact.
I am a clay vessel.
Polish my sides, O Lord!
Let me stand most splendidly,
Glorifying my God.
I am a mere vessel,
Distorted somewhat, O Lord!
Place me on a rocky base,
To show the world my class!
The vessel whatever that I am
Will serve Thee only, Lord.
Fill me up with thy grace, O God
To prove that I’m fine clod!

Sonnet: My Allegiance to God
Thou saved my life so many times till now;
Each time, it was a miracle indeed;
It proved to me Thy magnificent love;
Could I return Thy love with more good deed?
Thou me forgave my sins I committed;
Thou made me feel ashamed of my bad deeds;
Due punishments on me, Thou remitted,
And in my heart with grace, Thou sowed love’s seed!
But earthly-life will pass off peacefully,
For things happen only by Thine mouth’s word;
With Thee beside, who then can me bully?
Thou art my Savior kind, my Good Shepherd.
Thou art my Master true, my Lord and God;
Happy am I, though born a man from clod.

Sonnet- Give Me More Woes, Lord
'Give me O Lord, more woes, ' I don't say, 'No, '
'Give me thy grace to withstand them for Thee';
And if Thou Will'd that I should undergo,
Let me do so, for my Eternity.
'Give me 0 Lord more woes, for others' sake, '
'So that more souls can be saved from sure hell.'
And in the meantime, never me forsake;
I want to toll Heaven's Angelus bell.
'Give me 0 Lord, more woes, if I can take, '
'For joys or sorrows of this world are false, '
The devils' overtures are all but fake;
Help me to listen only to Thy calls.
'Give me 0 Lord, more woes, for I love Thee, '
'Let me too lift thy cross to Calvary, '

John Henry
When john henry was a little baby
Sittin on his mamas knee
Well he picked up a feather and a piece of steel
And said thats gonna be the death of me
Lord, lord, lord thats gonna be the death of me
Well john henry had a little woman
Name of polly ann
Well john got sick had to lay down on the bed
Polly drove steel like a man
Lord, lord, lord, polly drove steel like a man
Well john henry went up on the mountain
Well the mountain was sinkin in
He said come on captain I know what Im doin
It aint nothin but my hammer suckin wind
Lord, lord, lord, it aint nothin but my hammer suckin wind
Well john henry went up on the mountain
Lord the mountain was so high
He said were gonna shake this steel drivin down
Give me a cool drink of water before I die
Give me a cool drink of water before I die
Some say he came from england
Some say he came from spain
But john henry was nothin but a louisiana man
And he died with his hammer in his hand
Lord, lord, lord, he died with his hammer in his hand
Steel drivin man, he died with his hammer in his hand
Lord aint nothin but my hammer suckin wind etc. etc.

Soul-care Prayer!
Release my soul from devils’ grip, O Lord!
And give me peace and health of mind and heart;
Remove diseases of my body fast,
O Holy Spirit, come and dwell in me!
Restore my piety and love of Thee,
And free me from all temptations henceforth;
Remind me of thy love and forgiveness,
And let me live for Thee in servitude.
Rebuke me Lord when I dare go astray;
But take my earthly burdens and my woes;
Renew my soul with constant grace, O God,
I want to walk with Thee eternally!
God, guide my purified soul to Heaven-
Abode of holiness from whence it came;
Give me no chance to tarnish soul again,
Shepherd me Lord, though I be your lost sheep!

Sonnet- A Most Wonderful Christmas
This Christmas brings with it especial joy,
Not all can get even in their lifetime;
Like Jesus Christ, is born a baby-boy;
To make your family-life, still more sublime.
0 thank the Lord, the child was born alright;
0 thank the Lord, the child was born with ease;
0 thank the Lord, the child has senses right;
O thank the Lord, the child has no disease.
If boy or girl, it does not matter much;
God's gift of yet another child is great;
On mother's birthday born- what magic touch?
Miraculous, an event until date.
Maybe, God plans to give you one more try!
So make merry but never must you cry.

Woman A Mother
in the ambiance of the night, you are born,
beyond each lovers dream where you stay,
waiting your gift to give, a simple little life
that never would be
a dream of creation that one have to awake
for a little child i will give, to you i make,
a descendant as many as the sand in the sea.
i choose you for you to know that i
the Lord is worthy to be free
oh! a perfect woman. a mother that
only you can do, that world renewed
for a mother like you is always waiting
to see the things that the Lord had made
the world fulfilled
take the yoke i give, to carry the passion zeal i take
for in you a mother of men, i will make a covenant that
only you can make. rejoice! allelulia! in the most high for,
a woman like me worhty to be love to the Lord i love
woman a mother a wonderful name above other name
in the creation I made. only you can make,
the gift of life i give.... woman a mother

A Thanksgiving Prayer to God
Almighty God, to Thee I pray,
And thank Thee for all things this day,
I had received in ample way;
Let glory be to Thee, Aye! Aye!
I am a human being mere;
I sin often and always err;
Forgive me Lord, my God, I plead,
A better life, may I still lead.
This day is almost over, Lord!
I’m sorry if I broke accord;
Without Thine mercy, love O God,
My life gets thrown into discord.
My every want, Thou providest;
My praises, thanks, I offer best;
Ignore my iniquities Lord;
Afill my heart, mind with Thine word.
O let my lips utter good words,
And let my tongue not turn like swords,
And let me labor for Thine sake,
And dispel ignorance and ache.
The good I did all came from Thee
The bad surfaced from within me;
O help me do my duty well,
And always toll the success bell!
O fill this vessel, Lord, I pray,
With gifts that I can share today,
With downtrodden brethren around,
And men and women, poor, unsound.
O bless my solitude always;
Let devils not invade my days;
So bless my deeds and mundane ways,
Miraculously most, in case.
O take away my pride, O Lord;
I long to live in Thine accord;
Rescue me from each temptation
That takes me nearer Damnation.
Provide me Lord, with Thine insight;
Thou art my only way, truth, light;
Let love for Thee burn always bright,
From dawn till dusk, and through the night.
My fallacies are not just mine;
O keep me off women and wine;
This bread will do; my health is fine;
My soul with grace must always shine.
O Lord, now bless this bread I eat;
And keep my body, heart, soul, neat,
And walking in heavenly grace,
With wisdom, piety-filled face.

A Prayer to Lord, Jesus Christ
O Lord, I want to walk with Thee,
In Thine footsteps to Calvary;
And share the burden of Thine cross,
Thou carried for our sins, Alas!
O Jesus, I must talk with Thee,
All life-time in my life earthly;
Receiving wisdom heavenly,
To tread the path of Thine glory.
O Christ, I want to follow Thee,
To Thine abode- Eternity,
Avoiding sins that hinder me,
From seeing Thee Lord, finally.

Sonnet: God Will Provide!
Your husband is the nicest man I know;
You are lucky to be his half-better!
He’s stuck to his good principles well; oh!
Never mind if he couldn’t be wealth-getter.
So thank the Lord and praise Heaven for this;
God will provide all things by miracles;
He has in store for you more earthly bliss;
He’ll guide you both through life’s few debacles!
Just pray that God should give you both, good health;
Just thank the Almighty for all He’s done;
Just stay more patient: God will give more wealth;
To live a Christian life is not some fun!
God gives us strife and with it solutions;
He uses us for His revelations.

Sonnet: God, Seal My Purified Soul!
God take away the urge to sin from me;
My body’s weary from devils’ assaults;
The devils come to tempt me frequently;
My weakened spirit leads me to more faults!
God, tell me how I can be pure of heart?
I succumb to temptations so often;
I fail to learn the devils’ wily part;
Forgive me Lord: May your anger soften!
World’s sinfulness has grown in leaps and bounds;
Just say the word and my soul shall be healed;
Protect us Lord from Satan’s frantic hounds;
Make pure my heart and let entrance be sealed!
The devils roam the world in search of souls;
The Holy Spirit thwarts their evil roles!

Changing Not
Many men may acknowledge the Lord, but, in their life He is ignored,
The many state they believe in Him, however, continue in a life of sin,
Many, even accept God's Salvation, while they ignore His Revelation,
About all the changes in a life, when a person comes to Jesus Christ.
Their walk reflects no obvious Change, as their life remains the same,
While they profess to have believed, they live as if they are deceived,
As God's eternal enemy, says change isn't required, for others to see,
So, he walks not with his brothers, or shines his light for all the others.
Living in a world that's so depraved, when by The Lord, we are saved,
Through God's Power of Salvation, believers become a New Creation,
Given by God the Spirit of Christ, to live for our Lord a brand new life,
As a living testimony to Him, The Lord Jesus, Who saved us from sin.
If Apostle Paul felt the obligation, our life also, should be a revelation,
Of what The Lord God has done for us, through His Son, Christ Jesus,
Even if a change should be belated, every believer is surely obligated,
To be for God, a light and a witness, of Jesus Christ's Righteousness.
For The Savior, Who left His Majesty, to become sin, for you and me,
We should have more than obligation, for life should be a celebration,
A nonstop celebration in Jesus Christ, this as we surrender all our life,
As we make changes, to Godly ways, for God's honor and His praise.
Sonnet: Christ, My Lord, my all
Christ is the One who loves me without fail;
The cure to illnesses that still prevail;
The Living God, our Lord of the Highest;
The answer to my problems all- is Christ.
Christ is our Saviour, Healer, Friend and Guide;
The God who suffered on the Cross and died;
The succor to my heart and mind and soul;
The Light which leads the way in newer role.
Christ is the one in whom I always trust;
The God of Love who made me from mere dust;
He is the Truth who stands for Righteous men;
Christ forgives sins and takes us to Heaven.
Christ is the Lord who drives away devils,
His grace helps me to ward off all evils.

Sonnet-Give Me More Patience, Lord
Give me my patience Lord, give me some more;
The world denies the fairness that I seek;
And on the contrary, they hurt me sore,
Of mind and heart that is lamb-like and meek.
Give me my patience Lord, against my foe;
He irks me more, the humbler I become;
And every day, he gives me greater woe;
I've got to make my body and skin, numb!
Give me more patience Lord, I need some more;
My enemies unite to threaten me;
My heart has never revenge in its core;
They will not let me be, what I must be.
Give me more patience Lord, I ask for more;
I pray you open me another door.

Swayed On The Way
False teachers will come and go, but one thing you need to know,
The Lord God, who created all, opposes those who make men fall.
Men who water down God’s Word, questioning what you’ve heard.
Taking men down a broader path, one that invites our God’s wrath.
Teaching false fleshly deductions, leads men to eternal destruction.
While believers who follow their plan, could see a shorter life span.
The Lord himself said the narrow way, is the path on which to stay,
The only path to Eternal Life, is the one pointed to by Jesus Christ.
Righteousness required by The Lord, by many simply goes ignored,
Ignoring God’s Righteous decrees, they propose all that they please.
Men are saved from their lives before, to live a new life for The Lord.
God redeems every stripe and color, to be with Jesus Christ forever,
Through the cross where Jesus died, men have power to be purified,
To live high above the darkest night, to be examples of Jesus’ Light.
Paul became a slave of the cross, to be Christ’s Light for all the lost,
All of his rights Paul had set aside, to live for his Lord, who had died.
These men minimize this sacrifice; one essential in the believer’s life,
If they are to have a victorious life, as Ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
Friend, are you like Paul crucified, with the One who for all had died?
Totally committed to The Son of God, upon this temporal earthly sod!
Though Pot I am, I am Thine Pot!
Potter, Potter, making clay-pot!
Did you make me misshap’n somewhat?
Was it perhaps done on purpose?
Should I blame myself for my cross?
Perhaps, I was untimely born,
Or made in haste, Thine shop adorn!
May be Thine mood was not that good,
When Thou made me out of mere clod!
Perhaps, the mix was rather wrong,
Or else Thou sang a sadder song!
Perhaps, water salty was used;
And so I crack’d a bit when baked!
May be, I wasn’t well baked at all;
Or baked too much: suff’red a fall!
Perhaps, the hearth was not quite hot;
Perhaps, it was my own dear fault.
How do I serve Thee still? I muse;
Though handicapped, could Thou me use?
Could Thou recast my misshap’n form,
So that I can most well perform?
Could thou alter my bizarre look,
Before people think I’m a spook?
Or will I be trampled by men,
Even before I say, ‘Amen! ’
Whatev’r my fate turns out to be,
Let me serve Thee most happily!
May be, I can’t be thine pot sought;
Though pot I am, I am Thine pot!
Though pot I am, I am Thine pot!

God Is Not Dead
A man once said there is no God, I say, what a simple foolish clod,
Just look around and you will see, Creation envelopes you and me,
This world did not simply evolve, this bring an unbeliever’s resolve,
A belief to do away with God, that men confirm, with a foolish nod.
An empty theory in which men trust, which was then and now a bust,
All happening so very long ago, billions of years, is what they know,
But, what they don’t know is Truth, absent in their lame lack of proof,
However, they still remain resolved, that, their Big Bang has evolved.
These foolish men will one day see, The Lord and Creator of eternity,
Then they’ll truly know The Creator, but, Christ will not be their Savior,
As Christ will be The Judge of all, godless fools, both big and small,
Men evolving on an atheist path, who shall see the Lord God’s Wrath.
For all men will be without excuse, even when Truth these men refuse,
For Creation is plain to everyone, even those, who refuse God’s Son,
While not believing in a Creator, these men, see no need for a Savior,
A choice, these men will sure regret, after their Judge, they have met.
My friend, The Lord God is not dead, as God is alive forever instead,
All men can believe whatever they want, but, God is God, to be blunt,
As every soul on earth shall see, when they meet The Lord of Eternity,
And Christ shall judge all of Creation, this according to His Revelation.
Sonnet: Happy Birth-Anniversary, Dear Mom!
This day, we know, you had your birth on earth
-A lovely, lucky day for all of us;
Your living memories give us intense mirth;
You turned our world of woes into mere bliss!
You strived to make the world a better place;
You made our lives worth living by your toil;
You labored hard, yet kept a pleasant face;
You feared your Lord and burnt the midnight oil!
You brought much cheer in people's lives around;
You changed our dreams into one joyous scene!
Your righteous ways saw all of us dumbfound;
Oh, what a charming person, you had been!
Each stage of life, you had performed so well;
The angels in heaven will surely tell!

O Lord, My God, I give you all my praise
You have cared for me all my days
You have comfort and strengthen me
Lord, I give you all my praise.
Yes, God has been good to me.
God has been so good to me.

Lord, I give you all my praise.
O’ Lord, My God, to you I lift my hand
You will bless me right where I stand
You will guide me along the way
Lord, I give you all my praise.
Yes, God has been good to me.
God has been so good to me.
Yes God has been good to me.
Lord, I give you all my praise.
O Lord My God to you I sing my praise
I surrender and beg for your grace
Please O’ Lord, forgive all my sins.
Lord, I give you all my praise.
Yes, God has been good to me.
God has been so good to me.
Yes God has been good to me.
Lord, I give you all my praise.
O Lord, my God I need your help today
Please send some aid quickly my way
Problems are so bad I can hardly pray
Lord, I give you all my praise.
Yes, God has been good to me.
God has been so good to me.
Yes, God has been good to me.
Lord, I give you all my praise.
O Lord, My God, thanks for all you have done
You have empowered me to overcome
Now, I can claim my battle as won
Lord, I give you all my praise.
Yes God has been good to me.
God has been so good me.
Yes God has been good to me.
Lord, I give you all my praise.
