Sonnet: Dear Doctor Brother
Forget the past, however bitter, Man!
Begin now Life, anew, afresh again;
With Will-power, perform great things, one can;
There is a time for Sun; a time for Rain.
The chances life gives us are not many;
A married-man has an extra duty,
To tend to dependent souls; Be canny;
Experience the Almighty’s great beauty.
God knows your heart; your strength and weaknesses;
But Man must listen to His call always;
Never mind your sins, mistakes, past excesses;
Become a leaf anew; amend your ways.
There’s Light still at the end of the tunnel!
You must come out now from your self-made Hell.

Your Time is Running Out!
Your time is running out!
Christ died for you and me;
He paid the price for sins
Of all humanity.
This day is yours!
Do not procrastinate;
Regret, amend, repent;
Receive the grace of God.
Restart a life anew;
Live life meaningfully;
Live in the fear of God;
Decide eternity.
The devils are a losing lot;
The Maker knows their every plot;
He knows our weaknesses, bad thoughts;
To save our souls, we ought
Our earthly life is transient;
He knows our strife- Omniscient;
The Son of God has opened gates
Of Heaven and lovingly waits
For every soul, He made with love,
To enter His abode above!

Sonnet: Advice
A man anew will soon enter your life!
You got to change your mind and become his
Beloved, better-half and obedient wife;
This is the secret of our earthly bliss.
The many things that we may do when young,
Are best forgotten at the earliest!
A woman must learn to control her tongue;
’Tis better than being the prettiest.
Forget the past and start anew, my dear!
The future has so much to give to you;
Nevertheless, you go ahead sans fear,
And that is how you get your success too.
The past should not hinder the present state,
But help you lead a happy life with mate!

Sonnet: Give Me A Heart Anew, O God
Give me a heart anew, O God, I pray;
The one I have is sinful and impure;
Forgive my sins once more, Lord show my way;
Just say one word, Thy grace will heal me sure.
Give me a heart anew, let me begin,
To walk the road, the way you want me to;
Let me never commit a mortal sin;
Give in to temptations, the devils woo.
Give a heart anew, O God, once more;
I promise to keep it sin free lifetime;
Opened, you have for me another door;
Let me not fail to make my life sublime.
Give me a heart anew, O God, again;
And give thy grace to keep it off sin's stain.

One Last Time I Love You Always And Forever Yours
I put myself right back into the thick of things
With a message I pushed send
Dear you know
This a day we'll begin anew
Fix what has been so broken
So distant we have been
Can I say I love you?
With falling on knees
Covering my face
So ashamed of what I've done
I pushed the away the one I loved.
To protect you from those who hurt me so much.
I but now I bare my soul
I tell you exactly how feel
Every waking moment even still your on my mind
Is it too late?
To make things right.
If only I had only wish right now it would to be with you
I beat myself up all the time
With words that forever rhyme
No I will never just let go
Listen to me, Listen to my heart.
Can you tell it no?
Will you go only to leave me alone?
Know no matter what the answer is
I will always love you more then life itself
More then I write
More then anything and everything this world
I have been so destroyed
Light my fire
Give me my desire
Let the passion burn as one
Do you believe in second chances?
Well I do, even after everything I've been through
With this let me tell you one last time I love you always and forever yours

Fool yesterday
I afforded to be fool yesterday
But tried to be wise and clever today
With the fear that some one should not call me fool
As I was very lazy and all the time remained cool
It is nature’s habit not to respond in hostile manner
The things need smooth handling and not fastened with spanner
If it is tightened with full strength and left with no scope
There is every chance hat it may fail or flop
We learn gradually from the past mistakes
It is grasped with little of intakes
Not everything is learnt over night
It takes time to prove wrong or right
We all know time is changing very fast
The chances are that it may threaten to last
We may have nothing on hand to defend
There will be little less to improve or amend
Old proverbs are of great importance
They are not written like that at once
It has stood the test of past successfully
They stand every word correct and truthfully
When there prevails uncertainty with calm
You should remains steadfast and firm
This will take you to the desired destination
Your ability to tackle it will never be put to question

A Choice To Make
Believers have a choice to make, when we believe, what to forsake,
Leaving behind things of the past, for those that shall eternally last.
Things that we once held up high, after the Cross, we need to deny,
Making choices for the sake of Him, Who saved us from all our sin.
If Jesus Christ is truly your choice, in God above you would rejoice,
As you leave worldly ways behind, moved by a new heart and mind,
And the Lord will never forsake you, as Christ makes your life anew,
Through the power from Calvary, with your mind now set on Eternity.
From some things we must turn away, no matter what others will say,
Believers are to live their life anew, as God directs all we say and do,
Such decisions aren’t made in haste, as life of old would be a waste,
For with renewed minds and hearts, from older ways, our life departs.
With new choices comes reward, when we make choices for our Lord,
Who made the choice of the cross, a choice made for all sinners lost,
His choice to become sin for man, was the door for us to God’s Plan,
God’s plan of Grace giving New Life, to all who come to Jesus Christ.
Reward for Believers begins here, as we live upon this earthly sphere,
Receiving a peace and joy inside, when worldly ways are truly denied,
And real reward lasting forevermore, when you enter Christ, The Door,
With the ultimate reward you receive, of Eternal Life when you believe.

(Humility Poem) A Nobody
I am nobody.
I keep telling you this.
Why won't you just listen?
I have no importance.
I have made no great discoveries.
Just trust me.
Let someone else make a stand and lead.
Captain please get me my steed.
A horse of a mighty fine breed indeed.
Fast as she can go we're off to to save the world to be.
I am nobody.
I keep telling you this.
Why won't you just listen?
I have no importance.
I have made no great discoveries.
Sir great knight, you have made so many of such wise decisions.
In the past and present.
Why won't you let us follow you to all of our deaths?
I don't desire to be your mistake.
A choice of whose blood to spill.
It will be only my own, I must do this all alone.
I am nobody.
I keep telling you this.
Why won't you just listen?
I have no importance.
I have made no great discoveries.
Let me teach from afar.
Let me never be your fallen star.
A disgraceful man who's got so little to show for all his hard work.
Please don't ask me If you can plaster me all over your tea shirts.
Idol not a single a human being.
Because no one as a individual is that great.
I am nobody.
I keep telling you this.
Why won't you just listen?
I have no importance.
I have made no great discoveries.
Mistakes will be made by both the cowardly and brave.
How far will you go to get entangled in the web we make.
To say I was part of this mans life.
Even if it was lies in which you created.
A once upon a time he was celebrated.
Now he has become just so jaded.
I am nobody.
I keep telling you this.
Why won't you just listen?
I have no importance.
I have made no great discoveries.

Soul's Soliloquy
It’s said that universal single mind,
as in a flash it flowers in our individual mind,
hastens first in two directions: polar opposites,
and then and thus, duality..
then, within these mighty parameters,
all that we call our mind –
all our imagination, and its limits self-imposed,
all the great adventure of our human thought –
watchmaker’s intricacy, tumble-dryer, roller-coaster,
battleground of warring factions –
all that we call our mind..
and thus from time to time, one concept which I throw
into this zoo, my mind, at feeding-time –
suppose the Hindu view correct – or at least,
worth any animal’s good chew –
that our most inward part, call it
the soul or what you will, is on
an almost ageless learning curve of many lives:
each life as homework set by shrewd examiners
of the last life’s papers; homework set to test
this candid candidate: we know your strengths,
let’s now work upon your weaknesses…
and let’s see, which family
would best suit you, get you going
one way or another…turn you out
a better-rounded personality…
If this is so – and personally, I like
the divine symmetry of this tiger
in the night of destiny – I wonder why
I should have no inkling of those past and future
friends, so intimate – my past and future soul:
to say to one, you, my elder brother,
are you proud of me? Have I upheld
our family’s just pride?
and you, my younger brother –
or should I call you, son? I bequeath to you
the best I’ve got to leave you with…
some things you’ll need, I may have quite forgot;
for that, I’m sorry; but here, take my loving wishes,
have yourself a great, great time…
you’ll never know, I’ll never know, perhaps
how much we three love one another..
or, perhaps, we shall..

Sonnet- Life Has Both Joys And Sorrows
Men praise the Rose for exquisite beauty,
And praise the flower too for its great smell;
None care for thorns(changed leaves) doing duty,
Protecting flowers from wild beasts so well.
Men praise the River for quenching their thirst;
Who cares about the clouds that bring the Rain?
Much water comes from melting snows too first;
Most water comes from sea again, again.
Men praise their leaders for the great things done;
Who cares about the Almighty’s great role?
And men call God, the Moon, the Sky, the Sun!
Forgetting God who made earth, pole to pole.
All things God made have purpose good and bad;
Life’s woes alone should not make our hearts sad.

Sonnet: The Beauty of God's Creation
The inflorescence of the grass seems great -
A spectacle of beauty to the eye:
A Maker's witness, we can't underrate:
A simply gorgeous thing under the sky!
Even the least of things is made so well;
A prying look reveals this truth and fact;
The worst of things on earth can't seem like hell;
Promise to man, God keeps always by pact!
Remember man, to never forget God;
Futile are things man-made and do not last;
But industriousness, God will applaud;
Let not engulf your heart, guilt of sins, past!
Mere human toil cannot sustain us much;
All things happen on earth by divine touch!

There’s Light at Life’s Tunnel’s Other End!
There’s Light at Life’s Tunnel’s Other End!
When I entered Life’s tunnel sometime back,
It was a totally new experience!
Sometimes, we’re shoved into this by others;
At times, we enter it all by ourselves;
Sometimes, the adverse environs force us;
At times, God allows such a trial-test;
The devils too happily see us thus!
This journey, we must make it with success.
It was filled with darkness, coldness, solitude,
Without a ray of hope-light from outside;
I groped my way for weeks and years on end;
I found the tunnel almost ne’er –ending!
Despair had filled my mind and heart often;
At times, I thought I must live like the rest-
A sinful life, without the fear of God!
At times, I thought I must back off / return;
The odds were pitted heavily ‘gainst me!
My conscience advised me to carry on;
Life’s trials, tribulations come to all;
In life, none can escape adversity;
Life’s challenges we earthlings face somehow;
Cowards only avoid realities!
I continued to be always upright;
I had to keep my good principles too;
I cried to God and pleaded many times;
Hopelessness filled my heart on many days;
But I did not veer from my righteous path;
Problems and strife do come to all earthlings;
Perhaps, they chose a few pre-destined ones!
The God who made me with love like others,
Would not forsake me anytime in life;
He made me specially for role unique;
He won’t neglect or ignore any soul;
I put my trust in God and walked ahead.
The tunnel was much longer than I thought;
I trudged my way without help from others;
I scarcely walked and never could I run;
God was my only Friend in times of need;
He made me feel that everything will end.
Our transient life has joys and woes chain-like:
There was light surely at the tunnel’s end!
It took a longer time for me, of course!
And when I saw the light at last stream in,
The joy I felt was indescribable;
The light was brighter than I expected,
Remaining so for the rest of my life!
God made it possible in turbulent days
To live without succumbing to devils;
And soon my days of woes were almost gone;
God showed a land of ‘milk and honey’ fast,
And here I live with dignity and pride;
I thank my God for all His help/ Mercy.
He was the one who stood by me in strife;
He was the one who lifted me in falls;
He was the one who consoled me when ill;
He was the one who gave me company;
He was the one who changed my dismal world;
He was the one who put my foes to shame;
He was the one who gave me victory.
He was the one who gave me strength of mind;
He was the one who walked ahead of me;
He was the one who helped carry my cross;
He was the one who forgave all my sins;
He was the one who instilled hopes anew;
He was the one who guided / counseled me;
He was the one who had loved me truly!
He was the one who energized my frame;
He was the one who opened my eyes wide;
He was the one who helped me smell dangers;
He was the one who loved me more than men;
He was the one who cared for me so well.
Sometimes in life, we do enter tunnels,
Of variable lengths and sizes, shapes, pitch-dark;
How long we have to walk in it none know;
No one can tell if we can reach the end.
But, there is light certainly at the end;
We must make it with patience, will-power;
And once we reach it, there ends our troubles;
The world will change most miraculously;
No more can devils tempt us with success;
We cannot commit mortal sins again.
The Lord has been with us through all our strife,
And showed the path of cross to Calvary;
For that’s the way we ought to live on earth;
And that’s the way we must enter Heaven.
God has ear-marked a time/ season for things;
We must await it without losing hope;
Our faith will give us surely victory;
And Heaven too to all His righteous souls!
God’s most beloved of creatures is man!
God has a plan even before our birth;
He knows our heart even before we’re made;
He watches us sleepless both night and day;
He feels so sad when we too face troubles;
But He will never close His eyes or turn,
Even for a fraction of a moment.
He knows too well the devils’ wily ways,
And cannot permit one more soul to hell!
The price of sins of all mankind was paid,
By death on cross of Jesus Christ, God’s son,
Who was begotten and on earth born man:
God’s love transformed into a human frame!
What greater love can Maker have for man?
God gave His only son’s life to save us.

Unashamed
If I changed my mind,
If I changed my faith,
Every time a stop light signaled
Each time I made mistakes
I dont think that i
Would be where I am today
I live my life without regrets
What you see is
What you see is
What you see is what you get
And im
Chorus:
Unashamed of the life I lead
Unashamed of the strength on my knees
Of choices Ive made,
Of the love that Ive saved
Of the things Ive done,
My belief in the one
Unashamed of the words of my friends,
I know who they are
Make mistakes, make amends
Follow my instincts, my star
On my sleeve I wear my heart
Unashamed
Adding up my life, it totals all my dreams
Im counting all my blessings
And the gifts I have received
Still theres always someone
Something to overcome
Took all my life to understand
That I am what I am, who I am
Unashamed
Chorus
(do you)
Do you wanna know how it goes?
Do you wanna control how I feel?
Do you wanna stay in my life?
Then listen here, and listen good,
You got to get it,
Got to get it,
Got to get it right!
Unashamed
Chorus (say what you want)

Crossfire
Underneath the sky of blue, it's a time of choosing
Everybody's holding on, to what they're losing
But it all works out okay, if you give your life away
To the one who's holding fast, it's a promise that will last
(Chorus)
You're caught in a crossfire
Of a greater love than man has ever known
Caught in a crossfire
And you've got to choose which way you're gonna go
Caught in a crossfire
In a world of darkness turn to the light
Time's disappearing, all that you're fearing
Dreamers awaken, chances are taken away
There isn't any in-between, there's no escaping
If you step across the line, it's illuminating
And the words are clear and true
And they all were meant for you
For you harvest what you sow, so where you gonna go
(Chorus)
There's no pretending no other ending
All is forgiven, if you are living anew
Everybody faces it, now or later
You can't get around it, 'cause it's human nature
And deep within the hardest heart
There is something there that knows
There's a hunger life can never fill
'Til you face the one who rose
(Chorus)
Time's disappearing, all that you're fearing
Dreamers awaken, chances are taken
There's no pretending no other ending
All is forgiven, if you are living anew, living anew

Past, Present, Future
i lived in the past for so long
that the present was always unknown.
now i always look ahead at all the possibilities
and there is so much, that i now see.
a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel
and my thoughts being poured through a funnel.
the past is the past, and that's where it will stay
and in the present, we have to find a better way.
for the present will soon be our past
and if we don't do something, it will not last.
we must always look to the future
for it is only twenty four hours away
then it will be our past
and we have so much to do and say.
when i look at life, i truely have to laugh
today is our future and tomorrow it'll be our past.
now that i have you confused as to what i am
trying to say.
i guess i will try' to put it a better way'.
we all tend to procrastinate
always leaving it for tomorrow.
but! what if you don't see tomorrow.
and today you did'nt accomplish that task
how will you be remembered
if the present you left for last.
when we leave this material world
and our souls soar up in the sky
we will still have our memories
and that we can rely.
for when we get up there(if we do)
your soul will have carried all that you did
in this life
and the memories of friends, family
husband, or wife.
now when you look down on all that you had did
and asking yourself the question.
did i use my time, the way it was
meant to be?
or did i procrastinate, that others now speak of me?
we all have to work in order to survive.
but we must stop on occasion to smell the flowers.
and to enjoy all that we was given
otherwise how can you call this living.
(my thoughts: the words and stories were given to me.
so that i could write them down, for al the world to see.)
this is my philosophy.

Walk To The Light
(walt aldridge)
Ive never been one to believe much in ghosts,
But to tell you the truth now, my mind is not closed.
Ive heard there are souls that are lost in between
Somewhere theyre goin, and the places theyve been.
That sounds a lot like a woman I know,
Her love is long gone, but she will not let go.
Somebody oughtta take her by the hand and tell her,
dont be afraid, just walk to the light.
Let go of the past and get on with your life.
Somebodys waiting out in the night,
Ashes to ashes, walk to the light.
Now I understand that some things can take time,
Especially those of the heart grievin kind.
But there comes a point youve got to move on ahead,
Read the last rites and bury the dead.
Said she cant make the journey to get past the pain.
She moans in the night and she rattles her chains.
Somebody oughtta take her in their arms and tell her,
dont be afraid, just walk to the light.
Let go of the past and get on with your life.
Somebodys waitin out in the night,
Ashes to ashes, walk to the light.
Oh, dont be afraid of the choices that you made,
The choices are behind you.
When you give in, the healin can begin,
Love is gonna find you.
Dont be afraid, just walk to the light.
Let go of the past and get on with your life.
Somebodys waitin out in the night,
Ashes to ashes,
Oh, oh, dont be afraid just walk to the light,
Let go of the past and get on with your life.
Someone is waiting out in the night,
Ashes to ashes, walk to the light.
Walk to the light.
Walk to the light.

I would again want a relationship with you
I would again want a relationship with you
try to wind time back
and with experience try to turn things around,
making something else, something much bigger out of everything
try to watch out for mistakes of the past,
try and dissuade you from painful choices
and wish that you could turn like a storybook through our lives,
Maybe things would have been better, but we are human and imperfect
and maybe time and again we would have made other mistakes
saying the wrong things to each other
and still know that we truly love each other,
however life goes through our humanity
while there are still tomorrows lying ahead
and I wonder when we can start again?

Ghosts Of Our Past
Ghosts Of Our Past
We are haunted all the time
by ghosts of our past
for things we did long ago.
They remind us often
of the mistakes we made
and cannot amend.
These ghosts can come to us
at almost anytime
and we always refer to them
as our memories.

Sonnet: God
God is our Father to fatherless ones;
God is a Sibling, Friend and guiding Light;
God is our Mother to motherless sons;
God is our Lover on a moonless night.
God is a compass that can never fail;
God is our strength of life on earth to all;
God is our hope that will always prevail;
God is our succor who is prompt to call.
Yes, God has blessed you immensely, mind you,
In such short time, you cannot imagine;
Remember this and turn a leaf anew,
And steer life’s ship to a port sans sin.
Our flesh’s wants, we must learn to subdue;
God has blest you, pray He should continue!

Sonnet-Easter's Coming Fast
The Lent has started once again this year;
The time to fast, abstain from spirits, meat;
The time to curb amorous sounds by ear;
The time to be holy; pray more, less eat.
Let’s clean our minds of cob-webs of past sins;
Let’s mop our heart's floor of its sinful stains;
Let’s grace-paint walls and empty soul's sin-bins;
Let’s sacrifice, for God's sake, suffer pains.
The sufferings of Christ is fresh in mind;
His sacred blood shed on the Cross is true;
God's Love redeeming man from hell, we find;
Let’s have remorse for sins and change life's hue.
Let’s do the 'Way of the Cross' fervently;
Amend our lives for God more silently.

To Whomsoever Concerned
I see your ‘waxen’ expressionless face;
I see your ‘marble ‘eyes but you know not;
I see your dirt behind your back though clean;
I see your white-collared criminality.
I see you wear a ‘mask’ upon your face;
I see you smile so artificially;
I see your ambiguous statements made;
I see your smooth-tongued nature with great ease.
I see your white lies, so daringly made;
I see your greed for money increasing;
I see your voice that’s pseudo-endearing;
I see the monotony of your speech.
I feel so sad for kind of person you’re;
I feel so sorry you will not be good;
I feel so desperate for souls like you;
I feel I’ve failed to turn you to new leaf.
How longer still, you want to be like this?
Oh, can’t you ever give up your vices?
Oh, will you never change your heart of sins?
You think your soul is ready for God’s Bliss?
Your ‘pseudo-spirits’ can’t help you for long;
Your ‘principles’ in life invite God’s wrath;
Your approaches are clearly sinful too;
Your advices are misleading youngsters.
O shame on you for heart that’s stone-like cold;
O shame on you for adamant nature;
O shame on you for wasting remnant life;
O shame on you for being still in vice.
Your years are ebbing dangerously fast;
Your ill-gotten wealth can’t erase your sins;
Your guilt will overtake you very soon;
You’re on the verge of receiving God’s rod!
God spared you long for some good things you do;
God’s extra-kind to you- just realize;
God’s patience may not last for long- beware
God knows your pretences and soul most foul!
You cannot cheat the Almighty for long;
You cannot cheat your brothers and sisters;
You can’t deceive world without an end;
You’ll crash onto the ground for flying high.
You’re old today because of God’s great love;
You’re spared till date because of His kindness;
You’re healthy still for God’s slow to anger;
You’re fine as yet because of others’ prayers.
How sad, you fail to change for your own good!
You do not care to do the things you should;
One’s corpse burns almost like a log of wood;
A glutton dies of poisoning by food!
But things cannot go on like this for long;
All things must end; so also life’s story;
Amend; repent God’s Kingdom is so nigh;
You can’t take back a paisa when you die!
Soul’s state of grace is very important;
Your time of departure from earth will come;
Your day of reckoning is almost near;
Are you ready for your accounts to God?
