Sonnet-Our Earthly Stay Is For Heaven
In life on earth, all problems have to end;
And when they do in God's time/way, 'tis best;
From newer problems, then we must defend;
And thus our life goes on without much rest.
Yet, half the things we worry, turn out well;
Let us then think of days ahead only;
Let not our bitter past make future hell;
Our life's struggles find solutions surely.
Yet, life on earth is one constant struggle;
We dare not lose our sanity of thought;
And learn, we must from worms to out wriggle;
From situations in which we're badly caught.
We shouldn't forget the love of God for us;
Nor Heaven's way, Abode of God- True Bliss.

Sonnet: God Doesn’t Forsake Us
Some allergens just cut us down to size;
Some life’s problems can pin us down to earth;
Some follies made can make us rather wise;
Some sins we do are curses right from birth!
Life gives us strife in addition from God;
The devils too can make our burden more;
Nevertheless, we shouldn’t take them as rod;
God opens us always a newer door!
Life’s tests, trials, tribulations long last;
We ought to have a heart undaunted, so;
We shouldn’t be undermined by sins of past;
On earth, the evil One’s our only foe!
All things in earthly life are transient;
Just have in you, the God, omniscient.

Sonnet: No Man is perfect
Most men on earth do things as per their wish;
Only a few think well before they act;
Most minds are egoistic and selfish;
Advice if free has takers few- a fact.
By trial/ error, each one spends his life;
Things may go wrong and you never know why;
Both haves and have-nots get problems and strife;
No man is sure when he would surely die.
Man wonders if when life’s each stage is past,
Could he have lived in better ways and did,
Some things in prudent manner or too fast?
Some problems of his life, could he have rid?
No man can perfectly perform all things,
Nor can he solve all queries that life brings.

The Snakes I Have Angered
Life is full of problems that we all must face
As we wander through life trying to find our place.
With time and practice we learn the ways that work
And how to find solutions that don't make us look like a jerk.
Problems are like snakes who sometimes want to share our home.
They sneak in without warning and won't leave us alone.
They can hide so quickly and move around so fast
The present often gets tangled up with the memories of the past.
A face to face meeting can be full of fright and pain
But I must take some action or find someone to blame.
To cut off a snake's tail only makes him see red.
To solve the problems I must cut off the head.
Family and friends make easy targets to hit on
When I can't face my problems or want to call it quits
But now it has become plain for me to see
The meanest snake I have angered sometimes lives in me.

Sonnet: Wherefrom Life’s Evils Come
Man, take away the women off your life!
Half your problems vanish into thin air;
And live a life centered around your wife;
Just do the things aright that you can bear.
Woman, forget the men who surround you!
How of your problems arise from near here;
Just love your husband wholeheartedly too,
Forgiving if he should any time err.
O human beings, money is evil;
You can’t be slave to money, yet serve God;
Wealth can’t solve all problems nor the devil;
Wealth can’t spare you from the Almighty’s rod.
So, live your earthly life with wisdom, man;
And live your life true to just one woman.

Our Ephemeral Life on Earth
Like how the heavens open bringing rain,
God’s blessings will too shower, once again,
In His own time and in His divine ways,
And make our life on earth happier in pace!
A little strife can make our face sullen;
A little suffering can life, dullen;
A little wait is all God wants of us;
A little patience brings us endless bliss!
Why should we fret and fume and cry in haste?
Why should we call our life a total waste?
All things on earth are transient in type;
Our joys in life bestow on us some hype.
This earth and heaven shall all pass away,
And come will Jesus Christ on Judgment Day;
A new heaven and earth, He will usher,
Rewarding righteous souls in great measure.
Why don’t we praise the Lord in times of strife?
Why shouldn’t we thank Him for our unique life?
Why do we grumble, mumble, murmur then?
Our life on earth is meant to gain heaven!

Reality
Here on earth we see destruction
It has gone to far
We must change for new directions
Use your mind or fall
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
Reality !
Time is short years are counted
Generations lost
See the truth ! We are hunted
We must pay the cost
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
Nature bleeds for our disposal
We must point our view
You cant use your nuclear weapons
You must hear the calls
See through the past what we have done
Disaster soon will come
Hell after life or hell on this earth
Will we be rebirthed
We must gather now for a future instead of hell
We must gather now for a future instead of hell

Hell Or Heaven
Mama used to say to me
You can make your destiny
Keep your feet planted on the ground
You can always get it back
Make a castle from a one room shack
It's what you make of what you've found
Son you're gonna find out when you're older
There's always been the hand of God
Resting right there on your shoulder
Will it be hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
Saw a man the other day
Had it made in every way
Till his greed brought him down
He was blinded by the city lights
Now he shivers in the cold at night
Who will save the lifeguard
When he's about to drown
Will it be hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
You know you're gonna walk on through the fire
You know you're gonna feel the pain
You know you're gonna lose if you wanna win the game
And every time your heart is breakin'
And every time your faith is shaken
Just remember what mama said
Oh yeah
Hope when my time has come
I'm left enough to build upon
Ain't no one gonna say I didn't try
And here's why
Hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
You'll find heaven right here (x3)

Purpose In Life
Some people as they pass me by, live each day and know not why,
Why they deal with the daily strife, or the true meaning of their life.
Their purpose in life is not clear, or why on earth they’re even here.
Many of them accepted the lie, that you go nowhere when you die.
To then everyday is the same, only each day has a different name.
And the weeks, they don’t change, a different week is still the same.
As their weeks turn into months, they question life’s true relevance.
And as the months turn into years, the end of this life slowly nears.
There is nothing in their past, or nothing ahead they think will last.
If any of this seems to describe, any feelings that you have inside,
You can instead fill your life, with a purpose that is found in Christ.
He will enter your life my friend, and give you direction and an end.
This end is only found in Christ, for this end in Him is Eternal Life.
The direction that your life will take, fills the void, make no mistake.
Friend, even if your life is amiss, Christ will give it Eternal Purpose.
Make Christ your Lord and Savior, and He’ll give you a new nature.
You’ll have no more empty days, as Christ fills the void with praise.
Friend you’ll have no Misgivings, as life in Christ is life worth living.
For when you are Heaven bound, a new joy on this earth is found.
And far from that eternal abyss, in the end you enter Eternal Bliss.
Awards For Greatness
Not all can get awards though deserving;
Some luck and pluck too decides awardees;
The heart knows if he/she truly deserves;
The rest remain unsung all life on earth!
Awards on earth are not the ultimate;
The greatest feats are forgotten by men;
The greatest men, women are things of past;
Achievers who get lime-light aren't greatest!
All things on earth return to dust with time;
Most famous monuments become rubble;
Even rivers do change their course often;
Nothing is permanent in earthly life!
The luckiest deserving get awards;
The less lucky can't make up to life's peak;
The unlucky forget what awards mean;
A toiling few cannot think of such things!
Yet, human toil must get recognition;
Awards, rewards encourage achievements;
A few are born with silver-spoon in mouth;
The rest great slip into oblivion!
Yet, hopelessness need not fill any mind;
A few are heros/heroines on earth;
A few are great on earth and in heaven;
A few turn greatest only in heaven!

The Wonder Of It All
In the time it takes for us to blink our eyes
somebody is born and someone else dies.
The way of the world is through life and death
all that exists is nourished by food and breath.
In just a fleeting moment so much goes on
it’s a wonder for our mind to reflect upon.
Yet all that ever happens has a beginning and end
in the vastness of time and space it has to contend.
What is life about and our purpose on this world here?
Is it not to grow and expand, to realise something dear?
We all have basic desires to achieve one thing or another
a sort of instinct or legacy through our father and mother.
In self knowledge and expression we all reveal the way forward
one step at a time or in leaps and bounds we come closer toward
where this impulse of life leads us or directs each one to go
while the emphasis is always to learn, live, love and to grow.
In life we all have to face situations by which we gain or lose
yet it depends so much on our ability and freedom to choose.
If we see beyond our present circumstances it’s a positive sign
and experience may prove that there was only an imaginary line.
In relationships there are certain things that we all come to know
whatever doesn’t appear on the surface, otherwise hard to show.
To cultivate or develop the best in ourselves and others is a worthy ideal
though many people have a tendency for the false instead of what is real.
There are so many aspects of life we take for granted or even miss their point
in our daily struggle for survival whoever we are or find ourselves at this joint.
It takes much discriminative knowledge based on experience to come out ahead
at the end of each day be able to relax or rest and even sleep soundly in our bed.
We’re all prone to the malady of living wherever we may happen to be
as long as we don’t make it harder for ourselves or others in being free.
And in seeking the right solutions to those problems or dilemmas that we face
we should realise them to be relative not just to one particular time and place.

Not Just a Better Half
(A tribute to my god given life partner)
She's my love, she's my life
So dear to me, she's my wife
Life we have to live this world
Is full of joy and bliss all bold.
Mirror she is, I see myself
Solace in her I find when down
Mentor to me, I learn all time
Happy am I, she's born to me.
Chores she does, chorus we sing
Duo's we do all work with fun
I pass my arms then through her hair
Care she feels from me all while.
Home we built, a fortress it is
Base that’s firm on love so true
Family that prays together all way
Life its full that’s heaven on earth.
Me myself, in her heart I found
Not just my half but all my full
Life would never have been so full
Had never she spent this life with me.

Struggles Within
Nothing good in this flesh of mine, creating havoc from time to time,
For with this heart, deceitful at best, I am wearied and seldom at rest.
Who knows the depth of my heart, from which, I would like to depart,
With wickedness deep down within, it causes me to stray towards sin.
And with my sinful darkened mind, while living this life, it’s so unkind,
Reaching way back into yesteryear, my old sinful past is always near.
Dragging up my old sinful ways; causing me pain in my present days,
Giving the enemy old things to cast; at my present life, from the past.
In this head, these wandering eyes, looking at those things I despise,
The things of lust upon this earth; things which have no eternal worth.
Straying towards those things of lust, that in time simply turn to dust,
This causes my new faith to wane, while creating in my heart old pain.
These struggles I have with my flesh, is not from God a spiritual test,
But my struggles are from within, from this body that was born in sin.
Struggles that I have day to day, when I do not let God have His way,
Allowing God to change all my life, through The Savior, Jesus Christ.
For God sends to me when I believe, The Holy Spirit, whom I receive,
Christ embraces me as His own, and changes my old heart of stone,
From all that sin I’ve been freed, with no more struggles soon indeed,
As Christ this day is preparing me, to live without struggle for eternity.

What Is Heaven?
Is Heaven just a place to go, when through with this life we know?
Is Heaven that place for everyone, when life on this earth is done?
Is Heaven, not a placed called Hell, where after life, all shall dwell?
A final place to rest in peace, in blissful comfort that won’t cease?
Or, is Heaven to you much more, than rest beyond a golden door?
Do you desire to be in Heaven, beyond earth’s twenty-four seven?
Heaven is that true home above, for all who embraced God’s Love.
That love He showed on Calvary, where Christ died for you and me.
Do you know Christ, yourself, Who provides us with eternal wealth?
Providing believers an eternal home, granted from Heaven’s Throne;
But not all will accept God’s Son, although Christ died for everyone,
And they will not secure a place, in a home that’s supplied by Grace.
For Christ spoke of Heaven and Hell, when to His hearers He did tell,
About two very opposing destinies, while both shall still be eternities,
One for those who would believe, who, The Father above will receive,
And one for rejecters of The Lord, who, by our Father will be ignored.
Both being choices, which we make, when God we accept or forsake,
Heaven for all who accept Christ, through who God offers eternal life,
Hell for after one’s final breath, rejecting Christ, to enter eternal death.
Eternal places ahead for everyone, for their choice, about God’s Son.
Resolved Like Moves In Chess
a stress issue
can be resolved
like moves in chess
same with some problems
same with life problems
discuss as issues merits
offer a few options
we know within ourselves
not only the best solutions
but cop out solutions
half baked solutions
who chooses real solutions?
we could use the phrase
man up and bit the bullet
or chill let problems flow over us?
sometimes
doing nothing
is as bad or worse
than making a mistake
but with a little reflection
you can resolve your stress issues
identify sources
your real desired outcomes
suffer consequences or reap rewards?

Sonnet: Heaven Is Worth the Struggle
The more the devil tempts, let me do good;
Let me tire the devil all my life;
Give me O Lord, Thy protective Gracehood;
Give me O God, Thy help in any strife.
To live on earth is Heaven’s anvil-test;
The devils hound all men by night and day;
And man by nature fails despite his best,
Attempting yet, to stay in Heaven’s way.
Man struggles hard: his reward is Heaven;
The life of Bliss for Man eternally;
The life of permanence with God for men,
Abode of God to reach most ideally!
With divine help, one’s success on earth’s sure;
With God as Guide, no devils can one lure.

We All Have To Move On
It’s from an obscure background we mostly try to emerge
into that mainstream of life is the direction of our urge.
As we gain a little knowledge and skill in what we do best
we grow in confidence and learn to stand apart from the rest.
All life is such an uphill struggle against many an odd
and even after we make a mark our body claims the sod.
Yet life holds many mysteries in which itself is bound
being the main one all the rest revolve themselves around.
Whenever there’s a problem or one arises we need to surmount
the solution is that answer of which we all have to take account.
If we go about only creating more problems than we can solve
we get bogged down and from where we are it’s hard to evolve.
The struggle of life goes onward though and forward is its march
taking everything with it that we know to build a monumental arch.
And this is usually seen as a signpost if at the past we happen to look
recorded for posterity as a picture of a structure in our history book.
The future becomes the past and so the past can reveal the future
the present is the thread that binds them together as in a suture.
And time and space are the stage set of all three in the drama of existence
wherein everything that happens is for a purpose in spite of any resistance.
To live well and long is not really the true objective of life
neither is it to live in luxury nor to boast of a beautiful wife.
As death and the grave await everyone whether they’re great or small
we should try to go beyond them and the body which heeds their call.
When we experience death in our dreams we don’t really die
but only awaken from the nightmare we’ve had with a sigh.
The same thing happens in real life more or less when our time comes to leave
our soul rises freed from the body and its surroundings so we need not grieve.

In A Better World
The day I leave this earth
There will be nobody always to help me in my life
And nobody else will need to look after me here on earth
Because I will be in heaven
In a better place than earth
But I must say that I can't wait for this day to arrive
And when this day arrive I will be ready for God to take me home
To his abode in heaven
My life will end here on earth
But it will continue in heaven inside of God's abode
And in the garden in heaven I will go for walk any time that I feel like
Without being disturbed by the other people that lives in heaven
Also the dogs in heaven will come and great me while I walk in the garden In heaven
Of course I won't see anymore violence or homeless people here in the sky
At all and that to me will be a relieve
Also my pain and my life strugles will be over

Money Is But A False God
This very word can bring such joy,
It can also cause us such fear,
Lift you up yet it can also destroy,
Make you smile or even shed a tear.
It's something we claim we can't live without,
Yet it causes us all so much stress,
Worshippers of this God are so devout,
Do you love it, they'll always say yes.
Some will have plenty while others do not,
Those without are the most in need,
The ones who have plenty keep all they've got,
They become over obsessed with greed.
This stuff will not make you happy,
Contrary to what they might say,
If you lose it you will feel quite snappy,
It's guaranteed to lead you astray.
It will never bring you love or peace,
That can only come from within,
Without it all world problems would cease,
It's the cause of all major sin.
It's the one true cause of world wars,
Disputes of every kind,
The poor and weak it really abhors,
It can make an honest man blind.
This cannot give you the gift of life,
It won't adhere you to family and friends,
Though it can and will be the cause of strife,
When your life finally ends.
People worship it all over the Earth,
They really need to ask why,
For when it's time for your ship to berth,
It's no use to you when you die.
It can bring down institutions,
Force our world governments to fail,
It causes more problems than solutions,
Yet to some it's the Holy Grail,
It's the root of all evil we know that is true,
Why we worship it is really quite odd,
Health and happiness it will never accrue.
That's why,
‘' Money Is But A False God ‘'
Sonnet: The Lord Decides All Things
My happiest day is approaching me fast!
The day God solves all problems nagging me;
I can then breathe with ease like in the past,
And see a future that will be rosy.
Till then, I should endure whatev’r things be;
Each person’s path of life looks different;
Yet, labor hard will bring success surely;
There is no point in turning impatient.
The lord who’s just, will answer my prayers;
Just put your trust in Him and look ahead;
No 0ne can tell the earth’s different layers;
No one predicts when he’ll surely be dead.
The Lord decides when troubles must abate;
He only knows each one’s predestined fate.
