Sonnet: Better Times Will Come Again
But last, the rain has come torrentially!
No more, the summer’s sun can scorch our heads;
The campus-life has turned too, cordially;
For one more year, we’ll be like newly-weds!
For some more time, the snakes won’t harm us men;
The jackals will not show their wild nature;
The place will be a lion-free a den;
The bees can stock more honey for future.
And righteous men can hold their heads all high!
The evil ones will take a low profile!
And corrupt folk will become rather shy;
All men can drink river-water, not bile!
My God has heard my prayers after all;
He’ll hold me tight, not allow me to fall.

Breathless
All these posers keep you awake
I guess Im just too tired to sleep
And God only knows Im too lost to cry
Kissing last has kept me true
Ill fall (hold me tight)
But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
Ill fall (hold me tight)
But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
He hates so much its love he says
Inside his dark I need to smile
He shouts so loud I never hear
Thats why the truths always abused
As I slip into unconsciousness
I never felt so much to blame
Ill fall (hold me tight)
But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
Ill fall (hold me tight)
But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
As I slip into unconsciousness
I never felt so much to blame
Ill fall (hold me tight)
But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
Ill fall (hold me tight)

But Ill leave (hold me tight)
So hold me tight
Cause Im so lonely
Ill fall (hold me tight)

Summer Rain
World without a breeze
Heartbeat of the heat above the harbour
Lazy day lies dazed upon the shelf
Atomic lizards lick at the blaze of a light that is forever
No move in the solid skies
No gleaming metal out of the breathtaking blue
My golden circus girls all sailed away
The lion tamers are no longer due to play
Whoever breaks the seven seals
And lets the angry angels free
I do not know
Just waiting here
For summer rain
For summer rain
Or anything else
Prophet hold your head up
Into a cluster of bees and listen
Love of my life
Here is all our honey
Yes, we can change the world, together
And if were still invited to walk in this party
Id go for a saucerful of secrets or more
But the last thing I heard of was that God had left the lines
For a brand new universe
He was supposed to say
My golden circus girls all sailed away
The lion tamers are no longer due to play
Whoever breaks the seven seals and lets the angry angels free
I do not know
Just waiting over there
For summer rain
For summer rain
What a glorious feeling
Im happy again
Just cool rain

April, (? )
When you get that smile in your eye.
Something inside
Goes wild wild wild.
Sunshine
Chase away my rainy days.
Our summer leave
Is here. please stay.
Chorus:
Ill hold (hold) you in my arms next to me.
You (you) are the one that set me free.
You (you) put the fire in my heart.

Honey, Honey
Honey honey, how you thrill me, ah-hah, honey honey
Honey honey, nearly kill me, ah-hah, honey honey
Id heard about you before
I wanted to know some more
And now I know what they mean, youre a love machine
Oh, you make me dizzy
Honey honey, let me feel it, ah-hah, honey honey
Honey honey, dont conceal it, ah-hah, honey honey
The way that you kiss goodnight
(the way that you kiss me goodnight)
The way that you hold me tight
(the way that youre holding me tight)
I feel like I wanna sing when you do your thing
I dont wanna hurt you, baby, I dont wanna see you cry
So stay on the ground, girl, you better not get too high
But Im gonna stick to you, boy, youll never get rid of me
Theres no other place in this world where I rather would be
Honey honey, touch me, baby, ah-hah, honey honey
Honey honey, hold me, baby, ah-hah, honey honey
You look like a movie star
(you look like a movie star)
But I know just who you are
(I know just who you are)
And, honey, to say the least, youre a dog-gone beast
So stay on the ground, girl, you better not get too high
Theres no other place in this world where I rather would be
Honey honey, how you thrill me, ah-hah, honey honey
Honey honey, nearly kill me, ah-hah, honey honey
I heard about you before
I wanted to know some more
And now I know what they mean, youre a love machine

Mzuzu academy prep hall
it's a wide and vast
although it is not full of dust
its 7 o'clock on the watch
no one is allowed to wash
everyone is so quite that never before
since they came two minutes before
the only sound is books
even with girls who have looks
the inspector looks at troublemakers
since there is no one to punish noisemakers
while students hold firmly their future
since it doesn't came nature
a bulb in the ceiling smile brightly
as they light the hall nicely
students scratch their heads
as if they will have a chance to decide tails or heads
one and a half hour is the time
as students prep has no rhyme
as their future is in their hands
as they hold it in their expands
they got no time to waste
not even time to rest
as the time to exams is near
they prep and pass clear

Dangerous Type
Can I touch you, are you out of touch
I guess I never noticed that much
Geranium lover, Im live on your wire
Oo come and take me whoever you are
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Oo inside angel, always upset
Keeps on forgettin that we ever met
Can I bring you out in the light
My curiositys got me tonight
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Oo shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Museum directors with high shaking heads
They kick white shadows until they play dead
They want to crack your crossword smile
Oo can I take you out for awhile, yeah
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Tonight
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Tonight
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type, alright
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
(tonight) tonight
Shes a lot like you
The dangerous type
Tonight
Shes a lot like you
Come on and hold me tight
Tonight
Shes a lot like you

Holy Holy
Listen lady, let me lie low, lie low with you
To be lie-high-high-high-high-high, my! oh my!
Slowly, we get too good and too holy
Helping one another, just a righteous brother
Night time, get me back in the night time
I dont want to be angel, just a little bit evil
I feel the devil in me
Holy, holy
Hold on to anyone, hold on to anyone
But just let me be
Holy, holy
Hold on to anyone, hold on to anyone
Let go of me
Listen lady, let me lie low, lie low with you
To be a lie-high-high-high-high-high, my! oh my!
Holy, holy
Hold on to anyone, hold on to anyone
But just let me be
Holy, holy
Hold on to anyone, hold on to anyone
Let go of me

Ready For The Rain
Early in the morning, before the daylight
I hear the sound of thunder, comin through in the night
I lie awake and I wonder , where my life is goin
Am I on a road leadin nowhere, theres no way of knowin
cause Ive seen the lightning
And Im ready for the rain to fall
Now Im standin on a mountain, lookin into the sky
I see the clouds come rollin in, water fills my eyes
I dont know whats in the future, no one can say
Dont wanna think about the past, Ive gotta live for today
cause Ive seen the lightnin now
I need to find my own way, while Ive still got time
And Im ready for the rain to fall
cause Ive heard the thunder
And Im ready for the rain to fall
Im ready, ready for the rain
Ive got to rise above it all
And get ready for the rain to fall
Did you ever know someone, who had lost their way
Built their own little kingdom, and just blew it all away
Im not ashamed to admit it, that someone was me
Im gonna look to the future now, cause Ive set myself free
And Ive seen the lightnin
Im gonna set myself free, while Ive still got time
Get ready for the rain to fall
cause Ive heard the thunder
And Im ready for the rain to fall
Im ready, ready for the rain
Ive got to rise above it all
And get ready for the rain to fall, while Ive still got time....

Bees
From the hollow trees in their native home
them old fellows cut the honeycomb.
On honey and little white grubs they fed,
'cause them young bees was blackfeller's bread.
That's why they was so mighty and strong
in their native home in Currarong.
An' them old fellers' drink was honey-bul;
honey and water, a coolamon full.
Naked through the bush they went,
an' never knew what sickness meant,
them native bees could do you no harm,
they'd crawl all over your honey-smeared arm.
But them Eyetalian bees, they'd bung
your eyes right up. When we was young
we used to rob their honey-trees,
Savage! they'd fetch your blood, Them bees
would zoom an' zing an' chase a feller
from Bombaderry to Bodalla
Well Old Uncle Ninah, and Billy Bulloo
Old Jacky Mumbulla, King Merriman too,
them fierce old fellers, they're all gone now.
An' the wild honey's still in the gumtree bough.

River Of Life
We hold in our hands
the time that is passing
where no one will fall
but everyone stands
for everything that is right
So we'll just hold on tight
we are the children of the light
and we'll make it through
even the darkest night
will see the sky shining bright
and the river of life will flow
where the pain will no longer go
Love will come before us all
like our hearts that are beating
the voices will be heard again
changing everything they do
and the sun will be shining
through every dropp of rain
like the blood that's running

Love In The Future
I cannot bathe you in a river gone black
I cannot hold you in a poison rain
If I cant see you through the air that we breathe
What will love in the future be?
I wanna watch my children laugh as they run
I wanna hold their children on my knee
And tell them stories of a vanishing sun
Of how it used to be
In my lovers life I want to share
I want to see the world now through her eyes
And about everything she sees, I care
The time has come to rise
I cannot bathe you in a river gone black
I cannot hold you in a poison rain
If I cant see you through the air that we breathe
What will love in the future be?
Will we make it a different story?
Is there love in the future for you and me?
Were looking for answers in outer space
When will we discover the earth is a sacred place?

Where Are We Runnin'?
Fast lane
High speed
On the grind
24/7
No time
Always runnin' here and there
Chasin' the money
So much jibber jabbers
Cloggin' up our soul
Where are we runnin'
We need some time to clear our heads
Where are we runnin'
Keep on working 'til we're dead
Where are we runnin'
Oo wee oo wee oo
Where are we runnin' now
In style
Profile
Got to buy
The new Cavalli
Keep the skin tight
And the booty in the air
Don't stop the party
The road is paved but narrow
I hope we all get home
Where are we runnin'?
We need some time to clear our heads
Where are we runnin'?
Keep on working 'til we're dead
Where are we runnin'?
Oo wee oo wee oo
Where are we runnin' now
Where you runnin' girl
I see you up there
Oh you up on that stage
You up there
I saw you
Where are we running
We need some time to clear our heads
Where are we runnin'
Keep on working 'til we're dead
Where are we runnin'
Oo wee oo wee oo
Where are we runnin' now

Uncle Albert/admiral Halsey
Were so sorry uncle albert
Were so sorry if we caused you any pain
Were so sorry uncle albert
But theres no one left at home
And I believe Im gonna rain
Were so sorry but we havent heard a thing all day
Were so sorry uncle albert
But if anything should happen well be sure to give a ring
Were so sorry uncle albert
But we havent done a bloody thing all day
Were so sorry uncle albert
But the kettles on the boil and were so easily called away
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Admiral halsey notified me
He had to have a berth or he couldnt get to sea
I had another look and I had a cup of tea and butter pie
(the butter wouldnt melt so I put it in the pie)
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Live a little be a gypsy, get around(get around)
Get your feet up off the ground
Live a little, get around
Live a little be a gypsy, get around(get around)
Get your feet up off the ground
Live a little, get around
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hand across the water (water)
Heads across the sky

Ignorance Of The Masses
Men march on and fall in line
led to the slaughter; just like swine
at the end of the day they hold heads high
while I count the bodies of those who die
They put on their war paint
they lock and load
they don't know why they fight
they just do what they're told
if they open their eyes
they'll begin to see
the world for what is
not what it should be
but who's asking me?
Suicide won't solve anything
and that's just what war is
causing needless strife
with a gun and a knife:
sacrifice your life or his
The world needs to know
that war is the undertow
of our ignored problems
it's time to solve them
and if we don't stop fighting now
well what kind of future are we laying down?
the holy bible says that 'Thou shalt not kill'
yet we get so patriotic we do it for a thrill
Oblivion lies before you
so soldiers, I implore you
lay down your arms
they can do no harm
without your guidance
so let's just try this:
understand and respect
all people; don't kill them
if you do, you're no better
than a crook or a villian
diplomatic peace
no more war for me
sea to shining sea
serenity rings
But let's be realistic
since we're animalistic
by nature
We'll just kill
And kill again till the end
So say your prayers
kiss your babies goodbye
ignorance of the masses
ensures we all die.

Hidden Skeletons
For years they’ve been there,
hidden and out of sight.
Most have no memories of them,
which keeps the secret tight.
But there’s always a nagging worry
that someone will tell,
and if that ever happens our lives
will be a living hell.
As another with the knowledge dies
I sigh with some relief.
With each new generation brings distance
to the shame we did reap.
Our ancestors have left this hanging,
but it’s our heads that’ll fall.
There’s no escaping their wrong doing,
which doesn’t seem right to all.
If it ever becomes known, we’re finished,
shame has no place to hide.
We could never hold our heads up again,
the only escape would be suicide.

Head Held High
(reed)
My mama told me, ever since I was seven,
Hold your head up high.
My parents toldmy ever since I was eleven,
Hold your head up high.
They said the answer was to become a dancer,
Hold your head high.
Oh, just like I figured, theyre always disfigured
With their heads up high.
Now Im older, Im getting so much bolder
With my head up high
Oh, as I figured, just like I figured
Since your heads up high, baby.
Oh, just like I figured,
You know, they was disfigured
Hold your head up high.
You know, they says the answer was to become a dancer
Hold your head high, boy.
Ever since I was a baby on my mamas knee,
Oh, just listened to what everybody told me,
Oh yes I did. but still the answer was to become a dancer,
And hold your head high,
But, just like I figured, theyre always disfigured,
They hold their heads up high, watch out!
Do the dog! oh, watch out!
And now Im older, they say Im so much bolder
Got your head up high.
Oh, and the answer was, hey, to become a dancer,
Head up high.
Well, but just like I figured, theyre always disfigured
They got their heads up high.
But the answer was, now, boy, to become a dancer
With your head up high
Head up high,
Head up high...

The hidden Lion
make yourself smell like a perfume of passion, that never dies
and a wonderful moment that never fades, day to reckon
where everybody will remember, when our eternity await,
its final destiny
hidden lion keeps us, roaring in and out looking someone to be
devour living inside our soul, with every tears it fall, even
death it deceived, for the lion is very strong to push us in
the dungeon of the abyss of no return
the gift of life we share is the same life we give, let this be the
life that leads our offspring we entrusted the earth we left
with them, make the best, out what we inherited, the immortal
life, we bring is one that blooms the spring
life is just makes us fool, deceive what makes us fall, a lion in us
push us to feel that, the truth tell us the righteous way to the
kingdom we pray, is the final life we will stay
the freedom gain, of Adam and Eve pain is tainted with blood, that
makes us strong to face what brings us down, for the lion in
our heads hold the fortress, of the secret of the chamber of
our hearts, the Faith........

These Are The Days
These are the days of the endless summer
These are the days, the time is now
There is no past, theres only future
Theres only here, theres only now
Oh your smiling face, your gracious presence
The fires of spring are kindling bright
Oh the radiant heart and the song of glory
Crying freedom in the night
These are the days by the sparkling river
His timely grace and our treasured find
This is the love of the one magician
Turned the water into wine
These are days of the endless dancing and the
Long walks on the summer night
These are the days of the true romancing
When Im holding you oh, so tight
These are the days by the sparkling river
His timely grace and our treasured find
This is the love of the one great magician
Turned water into wine
These are the days now that we must savour
And we must enjoy as we can
These are the days that will last forever
Youve got to hold them in your heart.
