in life’s lanes man walks
runs or trudges not on own
but powered by God’s Will

Clean Slate

Envy of, a sense of true identity, a sign of confidence to see.
Because when she said "I love that music, too,"
she meant, "Only as long as you want me too."
So sad, we don't see, until we become what they want us to be.
It's too late.
I don't know why,
but what they want me to do,
I do it.
Powered by wealth,
changing myself,
and if they only knew that I knew it.
And it seems that the real life will have to wait,
because the world's so busy,
so busy, cleaning a clean slate.
Oh.
Ahh, hoping to find what's mine,
so I can lead a full life,
use a knife,
and dig in like a cannibal.
Out for,
for myself, but all the things I want are serving someone else.
I don't know why,
but what they want me to do,
I do it.
Powered by wealth,
changing myself,
and if they only knew that I knew it.
And it seems that the real life will have to wait.
As the world keeps cleaning, it's cleaning.
The spin cycle runs round.
A clear decision can be found.
Can't think when my mind,
my mind runs 'round.

I've been told that I have a lot of energy. The secret is that I use renewable resources. Some days I'm solar powered. Some days I'm wind powered. And some people in this room might think I'm hybrid gas-powered. You'll just have to guess which it is today.

An Old Poet/Trudges His Way

AN OLD POET/ TRUDGES HIS WAY

An old poet
Trudges his way
Through the world
Increasingly grey.

Time which ripens
And Time which destroys
Takes no special pains to say
The Poet soon
Will Whiten away.

High Powered Love

(tony joe white)
Ive been running low on inspiration
Tired of the physical intrigue
Theres nothing left to imagination
Living in a world that treats love so carelessly
Dont want no smooth talkin lover
I cant play the role
It just leaves me cold
I need a high powered love
I wanna feel that lightning streak
High powered love
Got to be down in the heart with me
Sometimes its hard to keep believing
Too many pretty faces all skin deep
Now is there anyone left with teeth just a little uneven
And wont spend more time a mirror than he does with me
If youre looking for a good time
A notch on your gun
I aint the one
I want a high powered love
Got to have intensity
High powered love
Dont start the fire if you cant take the heat
I cant turn back Im on a mission
I know theres someone out there for me
I need a high powered love
One thatll defy gravity
High powered love
Got to be strong and keep on lifting me
Yeah I need a high powered love
I wanna feel the lightning streak
High powered love
Got to be down in the heart with me
Got to be down in the heart with me

Last Of The Steam-powered Trains

Like the last of the good ol puffer trains,
Im the last of the blood and sweat brigade,
And I dont know where Im going, or why I came.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Im the last of the good old renegades.
All my friends are all middle class and grey,
But I live in a museum, so Im okay.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Like the last of the good ol choo-choo trains,
Huff and puff till I blow this world away,
And Im gonna keep on rollin till my dying day.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Like the last of the good ol puffer trains,
Im the last of the soot and scum[? ] brigade,
And all this peaceful living is drivin me insane.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.
Im the last of the good old fashioned steam-powered trains.

On Your 48th.

And so to you my sweet, it comes
The point at which, three quarters gone
Life trickles through our fingers
Like the sand,
In some sad, damaged hour-glass,
That runs ahead of man.

Months pass in days, and weeks in hours,
And how we age – like flowers that wilt in time;
Though beauty lies, not in unblemished skin,
But deep inside;
And character and grace shine at our eyes.

We rarely speak of love, as once we did
With hot breath steaming at the window panes,
And where we, breathless, rode along
The rim of our content,
We now seek quiet comfort in green lanes.

I love you still, and more than you would know,
Love walks beside me on the golden sand,
It makes my heart beat faster
When you smile,
And leaps like lightning, when you touch my hand.

Pain runs through my body

Pain runs through my body, and I don't need anymore.
Pain runs through my body, so leave me alone you whore.
Pain runs through my blood, as I start to bleed.
Pain runs through my body, and love is what I need.
Pain runs through my body, everyday of my life.
Pain runs through my body, as I pick up the knife.
Pain runs through my body, as I put it through my chest.
Pain runs through my body and I think you know the rest.

A Man Walks Slowly To His Own Grave

A man walks slowly to his own grave
And whether he stops or runs,
A man walks slowly to his own grave

A man walks surely to his own grave.

Train Of Love In Motion

(all aboard)
Train of love in motion
Heading for the ocean
Its powered by emotion
Train of love in motion
Put on your best dress
Were travelling light before the dawn
And where were going
Im not really sure
But there is one thing that I know
It is time for us to go
So all aboard
Let your feelings show
Here we go now
Train of love in motion
Heading for the ocean
Its powered by emotion
Train of love in motion
It doesnt matter
Whereever we should choose to meet
This locomotion
Will sweep us up on out feet
There is one thing that I know
This trains about to go
So all aboard
Let your feelings show
Here we go now
Train of love in motion
Heading for the ocean
Its powered by emotion
Train of love in motion
Heading for the ocean
Its powered by emotion
Train of love in motion
Heading for the ocean
Its powered by emotion
Train of love in motion

Sonnet: All is Well for the Upright

The righteous man need not fear anything;
His path is leveled: freed from stones and thorns;
He walks with ease: undaunted like a king;
He sleeps by nights and travels by all morns.

With Hope in heart, he journeys until dark;
God leads him through untrodden ground safely;
And every day, he reaches a new mark;
He walks and runs if need be, so bravely!

And wilderness can’t frighten him a bit;
God’s protective mantle enshrouds his life;
His body, mind and heart are always fit;
He gets success, despite problems and strife.

With soul all pure, he’s ready to Death woo;
His life on earth is exemplary too.

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’, Rev. & Dear Father

Praise the day when you were born;
Thank the Lord for this great morn;
Sing good hymns and blow your horn;
Pray for parents for God’ altar, you now adorn!

God chose you from the rest of flock,
To be a Shepherd with a frock;
And guide all safely to the Rock,
That quenches thirst of souls that knock!

A priestly life’s closest to God!
You are one most beloved to the Lord;
Live your life as per His Word;
Fight satan with this divine sword!

The love of God will guide you through
The trials, travail that you woo;
The harvest work is tough to do,
But God will find more, when time’s due!

The shepherd runs, trudges and walks;
The Holy Spirit in him talks;
He gives the wisdom, power of staff;
Oh, let wolves come and hyenas laugh!

You have done well so far but still
More things will happen by God’s Will;
May grace of God, your soul afill,
And show the way in vale, uphill!

You have a flock to tend night/ day;
You have to put them in God’s way;
You have to tell what is God’s Say;
You have to sacrifice and pray!

Blessed is the man of God;
He speaks like Jesus, every word;
Like Christ Lord, he shepherds the herd;
All live with God in accord.

Your work can’t be extolled by word;
Your earthly life can be bit hard;
In heaven will be your reward;
This is to you my Birthday Card!

Fondly dedicated to Rev & Dear Father Xavier Claudius,
Parish Priest, ‘Holy Family Church’, Perundurai, Erode, Tamilnadu, India
On his birthday, by families and parishners

A Nonsense Poem - a Villanelle

A little mouse sings in a bowl
A little fish runs on a wheel
A little worm hops in a hole

A little hat has lost its sole
A little petal has no peel
A little mouse sings in a bowl

A little dog dances a reel
A little frog jumps on a mole
A little fish runs on a wheel

A little boat rings out a peal
A little bell loses its keel
A little mouse sings in a bowl

A little rock slips on a seal
A little perch walks on a pole
A little fish runs on a wheel

A little card shakes on a deal
A little sigh fancies a meal
A little mouse sings in a bowl
A little fish runs on a wheel

Soul Less

And he walks soul less.
the past dark and endless.
skeltons we all have.
his always whispering.
And he walks soul less.

Grass green, but he cant smell it.
sky blue but he cant see it
life wonderess. but he has forgotten.
And he walks soul less.

Towards a destiny he cant avoid
a destiny he fears he created.
a destiny paid for in spades.
And he walks soul less

Scared, broken, unloved, shamed.
the ground all his eyes now ponder.
a man in body only.
And he walks soul less

Night Prowler

Somewhere a clock strikes midnight And there's a full moon in the sky You hear a dog bark in the distance You hear someone's baby cry A rat runs down the alley And a chill runs down your spine Someone walks across your grave And you wish the sun would shine No one's gonna warn you And no one's gonna yell 'Attack' And you don't feel the steel Till it's hanging out your back CHORUS: I'm your Night Prowler

The Peacock

A pleasant stroll,
The peacock takes
On its way back,
Each evening.

The sun has set;
The moon has come;
The air is cool;
’Tis twilight time!

The peacock walks
Effortlessly,
Amongst house-sites,
On lanes of own.

All through the way,
It feeds on leaves
That sprouted new,
A few days’ old!

A feast to eyes
Of young and old,
The peacock runs
On seeing men.

A hardy bird
With colored plumes
That gives its stroll,
A majesty.

Across the fence,
Over the bush,
It gently flies,
If need should rise.

It makes no noise,
On way back home;
It has walked miles
Unknowingly!

No snake dare near
The alert bird
That wards off foes
By flying low.

And when it’s dawn,
The dancing starts
On terraces,
As pea-hens watch!

The national bird
Of India,
Is protected:
‘So, please don’t kill! ’

Life Evanesce

Life is like a car
traveling so far
without noticing
the gas is already decreasing

In the middle of nowhere
nothing to be seen
but green grasses everywhere;
if the future had been foreseen
and that i was aware
maybe before i was already beware,
now that i am already nowhere
nothing runs my mind but regrets
nothing to do because my life is in a threat;
but before the car runs out of gas
If anyone can read this
please repass
and know that life can be a bliss
and life is short
so why don't you enjoy.

Sonnet-A Lot Can Still Be Done

Nothing is impossible to be done;
Nothing is tough that man can never do;
Take heart,0 Man and dazzle like the Sun;
No sorrow's much for hearts that endure too.

No grief is such that hearts can never bear;
No problems can defy a solution;
No man can always have immense despair;
No labor hard evades the stage of fruition.

Life's challenges are much and yet we take;
There is a risk and price also to pay;
Water's water, be it from Ocean, Lake;
Each night is followed by a lovely day.

The man who runs all life can gain much time;
The man who walks with God makes life sublime.

Child in Red

Sometimes she walks through the village in her
little red dress
all absorbed in restraining herself,
and yet, despite herself, she seems to move
according to the rhythm of her life to come.

She runs a bit, hesitates, stops,
half-turns around...
and, all while dreaming, shakes her head
for or against.

Then she dances a few steps
that she invents and forgets,
no doubt finding out that life
moves on too fast.

It's not so much that she steps out
of the small body enclosing her,
but that all she carries in herself
frolics and ferments.

It's this dress that she'll remember
later in a sweet surrender;
when her whole life is full of risks,
the little red dress will always seem right.

The game

He walks in a grey light.

He does possess loads of might.

He is always kind in a fight.

His style is his delight.

He plays with a football thats dark & white.

He runs so fast that his feet take flight.

He is always away at night.

He must fight in the light.

People admire his fair heart in a fight.

He is always on his game.

He does not care about his name.

Just because he is different doesn't mean he can't live life right.

Do not forget that life is a fight between wrong and right.
