On Our 15th Marriage Anniversary
Let’s brook no misunderstandings;
Let’s carry no ill-will;
Let’s never feel guilty too much;
Let’s walk in harmony.
Let’s not have suspicions ‘twixt us;
Let’s make no more mistakes;
Let’s not feel proud or envious;
Let’s live a life of love.
Let’s forgive, forget trespasses;
Let’s put up with others;
Let’s forge ahead with more courage;
Let’s run our race on earth.
Let’s follow Christ to Calvary;
Let’s keep His Ten Commands;
Let’s be an example to all;
Let’s make the world better.
Let’s live our lives in piety;
Let’s give joy to others;
Let’s spread the word of Jesus Lord;
Let’s prepare for heaven.

Sonnet: ‘Both Gone to be with God! ’
A man, woman became one in Lord Christ:
Both joined by God and none could them unwed;
They fixed their hearts to rearing children first;
With duty done well, they are both now dead!
They slogged all day to make ends meet in life;
Most lovingly, they raised their children ten;
God helped them timely overcome all strife;
They are with God most likely, in heaven.
Some children now are parents proud, steadfast;
The baton passes from one hand to next;
With many things to do, time cannot last;
Guidance to live comes from the Bible’s text.
Oh, what an example, their parents set!
Their glorious work remains unmatched as yet!
Most lovingly dedicated by all children,
to our dear parents, on their Marriage Day Anniversary:

Christian Marriage
God made you two as man and wife,
And live as one in earthly life;
The two bodies are now one flesh;
In Jesus Christ, you dwell, refresh.
No one on earth can separate,
Two souls ‘en way’ to Heaven’s Gate;
The marriage vows you took ’fore Lord,
Come sanctified by Divine Word.
For, Matrimony- sacrament,
Was made by Christ, a monument;
Forever love must then prevail,
Whatever comes as strife, travail.
When Christ suffered for sins of ours,
And shed His blood by death on cross,
Our suffering on earth is naught;
In joy of after-life, we’re caught!
God helps us brave all storms in life,
And timely aids us in all strife;
In Him, our faith should grow always
Until we pass our earthly days!
Ne’er fear: for God ne’er will forsake
The souls who live for His own sake;
Nor will He ever abandon
His righteous ones, the least even.
Believe the Lord and all He says;
Success on earth too comes in days;
Prepare your soul with grace always;
A Christian true has won the race!

A Catholic House-warming Prayer
By sweat of human forehead built,
And money earned in honest ways;
Reside good Christians within it;
God bless this family always!
O Holy Spirit, Dove of peace,
Preserve love, faith and unity;
Help us to live our life with ease
Through fortitude and piety.
O Mother Mary, pray for us!
Ask Jesus Christ to ever bless,
And keep our souls in grace of God,
Until we part to His abode!
Saint Joseph, show us God is first,
And how to be a father best;
And teach our children about Christ,
And emulate the Holy Nest.
O saints and angels, dwell here-in;
Pray that we stay away from sin;
And keep our soul’s gaze towards God,
Living our lives, like Jesus Lord.
O Jesus Lord, bless us, we pray;
Protect this home both night and day;
Help us to carry our life’s cross,
And serve God nobly without pause!
Lord Jesus, be our guiding Light;
Help us to speak the Truth always;
Goad us to do all things aright;
Proclaiming God to human race!

All for Jesus (Song)
All for Jesus' sake, I offer,
All my joys, sorrows and grief;
He has carried on His shoulder
Cross with sins of all people!
Refrain:
‘Let me follow Christ; Let me follow Him;
He is Lord of all creation,
Let me follow Christ.'
Let me walk in shadow of cross
That Christ carried for our sins;
He shed all His blood for our sake,
So that we may gain heaven!
Refrain:
Let me live in piety and
Ask Christ to forgive my sins;
Let me endure my sufferings;
He will take me to heaven!

Help Take Christ to Every Soul
A dollar for the Gospel;
A pound for Jesus Christ;
Euros for the word of God;
-an act divine and best!
Money’s in the coffers;
Money’s in the drain;
Money’s gotten and ill-spent;
Not enough, for God’s lane?
Let’s contribute our mite;
Let ‘blind’ get back their sight;
Let deaf hear the Word of God
Sinners be spared His rod!
’Tis time for the harvest;
God’s vineyard needs more hands;
The wheat will fill the granaries,
As weeds will burn on lands.
God’s time has come;
Prepare your soul;
Christ comes a second time;
‘To judge the living/ dead’- His role;
Hurry and heed, be sane.

Forgive and Forget
So often do we fall into big sin;
Sometimes, we sin by habit endlessly!
And when we ask God’s forgiveness for sins,
Does not the merciful God forgive us?
Many are our trespasses to others;
When God forgives us, shouldn’t we our brothers?
If God punishes man without mercy,
Not a single soul can reach heaven!
Forgive your brethren just as God forgives our faults;
Forget others’ trespasses for God’s sake;
Forgive ev’n your foes if you can at times;
God surely will reward us our kind acts.
‘Love your neighbor as thyself, ’ said Jesus;
And Jesus died for mankind’s sins, not His!
How lovely is the love of God for man!
Then love our neighbor likewise, we all can!

A Child's Prayer to Jesus Lord
Jesus, come and make me well;
I am praying day and night;
You are truth and way and light;
Grant me heaven and not hell!
Jesus, heal my ailments all;
You can work miracles fast;
Ignore all my sins of past;
Help me listen to your call!
Jesus, take my grief and woes;
Life on earth is sorrowful;
Faith can make it beautiful;
Put my life back on due course!
Jesus, Lord and King of kings;
Savior of the human race;
God with thousand suns as face;
You provide my needed things!
Jesus, help me love you, God;
You can forgive me my sins;
Make my failures become wins;
Spare me from your fair, just rod!
Jesus, God one incarnate;
Born of Mary, virgin queen;
Make my soul-desert turn green;
Holy God, immaculate!
Jesus, Christ, Creator God;
Fill my empty life with joys;
Help me carry my life's cross;
God of love, you are my Lord!
Jesus, fill my soul with grace;
Free me from all temptations;
Help me pray for souls, nations;
Fix on heaven, my soul's gaze!

Follow The Lamb
The Lamb of God can be for you, the biggest blessing you ever knew.
He was sent from Heaven up above, to the earth by The Father’s love.
Christ was sent to die upon a tree, He was sent to die for you and me.
He takes away the sin of the world, the very message John did herald.
Into the world came The Light, to guide us out of the darkness of night.
He came to take us out of the night, for us to carry a message of light.
As you believe the message of light, you are delivered out of the night.
And then you are granted New Life, and this is based solely on Christ.
From Christ you receive a New Birth, from Heaven not from this earth.
Friend, you become spiritually healed, and by His Spirit you are sealed.
Sealed until the Day of Redemption, and in Christ there is no exemption.
If you truly believe in Jesus Christ, you friend, will experience New Life.
He will fill your heart with peace, and also a joy that will never cease.
Christ will put you on a journey friend, that in and of itself will not end.
Although it starts upon this earth, it continues well into eternal mirth.
And the only door is Jesus Christ, the Door that leads to Eternal Life.
Once you walk through The Door, you’re secure in Christ forevermore.
Choose to follow The Lamb today; He will lead you in the narrow way.
As you follow The Lamb of God, He guides you with His staff and rod.
A Blessed journey will be yours, when you follow Christ as your Lord.

Little Flower of Jesus Christ - ‘St. Therese of Lisieux
O little Flower of Jesus Christ!
How young and yet so wise, you turned!
And showed the world that heaven's first;
For love of Christ, your heart well burned!
You had your way, when pampered young;
The clarion call of God, you heard;
Though suff'ring from TB of lung,
You changed a cloistered divine bird!
How sad you lost four sisters, mom!
Their demise hurt your heart profound;
But then, you did Jesus welcome,
And turned earth heavenly a ground!
In just short span of life on earth,
You proved ‘like children' all must live
In love of God, and right from birth;
In to will of heaven, we must give!
For sake of Christ, you lived your life;
And preached that love was one thing prime,
That helps us through, our joys and strife,
And live Christ-centred for life-time!
O saint and Doctor of the church!
Pray that all sinners well repent;
No soul for want of light must lurch,
But walk in heaven's road, God-lent!
Fondly dedicated to the poetess-nun, St.Therese of Lisieux! '

Marriage is God-made
Marriage is a holy state –
Of minds and bodies and souls two!
A one-time event in our life;
None dare untie the knots thus made!
Marriage is not all mere fun;
Be faithful to your spouse always;
The gift of God is children dear –
The priceless wealth from God above!
Once married, live for the other;
Let no one else in life bother;
The days ahead have joys and woes;
But this is how life on earth goes!
The bond of love is especial,
Though misunderstandings could arise;
The sex in marriage is sacred;
God cares for you and will provide.
So, live your married life with care;
Do just things that are right and fair;
Heaven will bless the married pair;
Remember, we are earthen-ware!

Easter
On Christmas day
Was born a babe,
Who brought forth joy
And peace on earth.
On Easter day,
Lord Christ, who died,
Came back to life
All on his own.
Prophets had died;
Saints too had died;
Great men had died;
But none returned.
Just Jesus Christ
Rose on third day;
He won over death,
And Satan lost.
The death of Christ,
Resurrection,
Victory o’er death
Brought redemption-
For all mankind,
For endless time;
Heaven was now
Open to all.
Sinners who say
‘I’m sorry, God,
And repent well,
Can avoid hell’
Christ paid the price
Of mankind’s sins
By death on cross,
And his suffering.
When we do sins,
They wound the Lord,
And hurt him more
And make him sore,
Let’s rise with Christ;
Renounce Satan,
His pomps and works;
Live for Christ’s sake.
Heaven is ours.
Christ is the way;
He is the Truth;
He is the Light.
Let’s follow Christ
To Calvary;
And heaven-wards:
ETERNITY!

Transported To The Sky
Soon I’ll be transported to the sky, to be with my Lord way up high.
I will be lifted up into the clouds, to join the many victorious crowds.
And together we’ll see the face, of Christ who led us by His Grace.
On that day and that special hour, we’ll be changed by His Power.
Friend, this is what’s ahead for me, and all on their way to Eternity.
This is the Hope I have in Christ, which goes beyond temporal life,
He’s gone to prepare a place for us, and in His words I put my trust.
Christ’s coming back again for me, so that where He is I too can be.
We do not know what lies ahead, but, we know what Christ had said.
So be not anxious my dear friend, for this life on earth is not the end.
Soon will come great devastation; for all waiting He brings Salvation.
Jesus is our Blessed Hope my friend; He’s a brighter path to the end.
In Christ we’re on a different path; we weren’t saved to suffer wrath,
Saved by Christ’s Gracious Love, to live with Him forever up above.
When we hear that trumpet sound, all the Saints shall gather round,
Jesus Christ the Eternal King, and together hear the Heavens sing.
My friend, in the twinkling of an eye, we’ll be with The Lord on high,
Changed to be just like The Lord, with new bodies that will endure,
Eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ, as He leads us into Eternal Life.
So friend it’s right to keep our eyes, fixed upon our Lord in the skies.

God Means All Things to Me
If not for Your love, dear God,
What would I be?
If not for Your care, dear Lord,
How would I be?
If not for Your affection, God,
Where would I be?
If not for Your kindness, dear Lord,
Could I ‘live be?
If not for Your forgiveness, God,
Would not I feel guilty?
If not for Your protection, Lord,
Can I live safely?
God means all things to me in life;
God is my only Friend in strife;
God is my guiding Light and Way;
He won’t forsake me any day!

What Used To Be
I was too, once deceived, but through God’s Word I believed,
Knowledge of God, I had none, but then I embraced His Son.
I was too, a sinner lost, but then I read about Calvary’s cross,
Where The Lord was crucified, and for all my sin He had died.
Though darkness was all around, by Christ Jesus I was found,
Giving me through His Light, a path to life, out from my night.
Christ sent me the Holy Spirit, to teach me Truth when I hear it,
To grow in the knowledge of Him, who saved me from my sin.
I was separated from a Holy God, upon this fallen earthly sod,
But, brought into His family, through Christ’s Cross at Calvary.
In my trespasses, I was dead, no matter what my religion said,
But, from The Son, Jesus Christ, I was given by God New Life.
In my previous life I was all alone, left on earth to simply roam,
Now my Shepherd and my guide, Christ, is always by my side.
Once I had lived with uncertainty, about the time called eternity,
Now I know through His Grace, in heaven for me awaits a place.
A place for me’s been secured, by Jesus Christ my loving Lord,
Where in His presence I shall be, and, throughout all of Eternity.
And friend God wants you to know, you can have a place to go,
To live with Him in heaven above, provided by our Savior’s love.

Happy Birthday Song
You are my love;
You are my life;
You’re all things to me,
Oh my dear wife!
My dear sweetheart,
If not for you,
Life would be empty,
What would I do?
My love for you,
No words can tell;
But it is so true;
May you live well!
My angel on earth,
Born for me, it seems;
You are my mirth,
My hopes and dreams.

Wife, Mercy, on her birthday

Obituary: To My Beloved Parents
My Dear Dad:
From humble beginnings, my dad
Rose up by sheer struggle in life,
And turned a teacher to serve God,
Uncorrupted and straightforward.
He kept God first, within his heart,
And did his earthly duty, part
Unflinchingly, undauntedly,
And showed the world, his love for Christ!
Oh, what a fine man, my dad was!
He loved his brethren like himself;
He did not care for his own life;
He did his part for sake of Christ.
The wealth he made was his children;
His air of pride was his good wife;
He smiled while facing life’s troubles;
He bore his cross and followed Christ.
He stood steadfast in honesty;
He taught the pupil worst in class;
He towered high with confidence;
He would not dither from his God.
My Dear Mum:
And in his task, his wife joined him,
A pious lady from the start;
She did her duty to husband
And children without second thought.
She loved her family members all,
And kept the harmony intact;
She prayed fervently throughout life,
And waded safely through all strife.
A workaholic, all her life,
She helped her children’s assignments,
Encouraging souls all alike,
To walk on ‘heaven’s road on earth’.
She was a lovely mum and wife;
She eased her bread-winner’s worries;
She loved to do much charity;
She lived beyond ninety-three age!
We children are so proud of both;
They earned their heaven here on earth;
They both lived exemplary lives;
We pray we’ll meet in God’s abode!
God, make that day soon possible;
The life on earth worthlessly goes;
Oh, how we wish to see and speak
To dad and mum, in heav’n above!
Dedicated to my dear dad, (late) A.T.Antoniswami,
And dear mum, (late) Stella Thangamarie

Sonnet: Suffering to Heaven
Help me to bear my sorrows of my life;
Help me to live in piety, O God;
Help me to keep my faith amidst my strife;
Help me to fight my odds with courage, Lord.
Whatever be the cause of suffering-
Man-made, environmental or by fate,
Give me the strength of will in accepting
Them all, for glorifying Thee till date.
Let me ignore my woes as something naught;
There are some ones who suffer more than me;
Let me thank Thee and not say ’tis my lot;
O God, my soul becomes more heavenly!
Let me take up my cross and follow Thee,
O Jesus Christ- the light, the way, truly.

Sonnet: Have Mercy on him, Lord
Preserve this soul, Almighty God, I pray:
A person known to me in life on earth;
Forgive his iniquities, sins, this day;
Prepare his soul to gain eternal mirth.
Ignore his blatant lies by habit made;
Have mercy on this gentleman somehow;
Remind the good things done and taxes paid;
Forget his foolish thoughts and acts, right now.
Perhaps, the world had paid him in same coin;
His wealth, ill-gotten will remain on earth;
May be, he wore a chain of gold for loin;
Forget his trespasses, Lord, since his birth.
Give him another chance to cleanse his soul;
Show lenience on his failed divine role.

Listen to Jesus’ Call
The man I know as Jesus,
Is Son of God, Most High;
-Conceived by Holy Spirit
In Virgin Mary’s womb!
He came to save all sinners
By death upon the cross;
He resurrected third day,
And showed his Godly powers!
What love has Father shown us!
Though earthlings don’t deserve;
He sacrificed His Son’s life,
To pay souls’ freedom price!
Now all can go to heaven,
If we can follow Christ;
Take up your cross and walk then
In footsteps of the Lord.
Renounce the work of devils;
Put trust in Jesus Christ;
He comes to judge all mankind,
When He comes second time!
Repent for sins of past years;
Reconcile with the Lord;
Remember Heaven’s nigh
For righteous and upright.
Jesus can forgive sins all;
Just ask and be made pure;
He waits in Heaven’s glory
For every soul, He made!
Oh, what a wonder God is!
He’s awesome, most loving;
His mercy is infinite
Listen to Jesus’ call!
