Without Resolve

inside a rumor
we delight at the
misfortune
of our neighbors

i feel guilty sometimes
and i want to quit

on the other hand
it is their miseries
much greater than ours
that make us
feel so happy

we start all over again
over another cup of
coffee
watching time go by
like another
unfortunate guy

i feel guilty sometimes
but i cannot really quit

it is always the misery of
other people
that makes mine so
lighter

i guess, this is nothing
but survival.
