Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XX)

Zophar, the Naamathite then spoke:

My spirit has a reply now;
My thoughts provide an answer, Oh!
I feel ashamed to hear your words,
That clearly speaks ill of the Lord’s.

From olden times, since man was made,
The triumph of the wicked fade;
The impious cannot enjoy,
The things on earth since when a boy.

Although his pride goes heaven-high,
And head in cloud-nine trys to fly,
He perishes like his fire
That lights his funeral pyre.

His flight is dream-like when it came,
And fades vision-like sans a name;
He never is found anywhere,
And vanishes into thin air!

The vigor of his youthful frame,
Is made to lie in dust with shame;
The evil of his mouth is sweet,
Under his tongue, hidden so neat.

He cannot let the habit die;
His food like venom too does lie;
The riches gulped, he vomits all,
Disowned by his own belly-wall.

He drinks the poison of the asps;
The viper’s fangs kill him like wasps;
He never sees milk, honey, oil,
Nor enjoys fruits of his own toil.

With greed he lives on earth life-long,
Dissatisfied by wealth got wrong;
God never bestows him right clime;
He never prospers any time!

In dire straits, he’s thrown at last;
God sends His fury very fast;
Missiles of war are rained on him,
His life is turned so quickly grim.

Should he escape the first weapon,
Terrors galore shall he fall on;
In store for him lies pitch darkness
And raging fire sans harness.

The earth revolts against him soon;
Heavens reveal his guilt by noon;
His house is washed away by floods;
God’s anger denies him all goods.

This is the heritage of men-
Wicked in eyes of God, Heaven!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XI)

Zophar, the Naamathite then spoke:

Should not your queries be answered?
Should garrulous be always right?
Should one’s babblings silence others?
Should none rebuke your ridicule?
You mean your statements are correct!
Do you then say, ‘I am so clean! ’

If only God does speak to you
And says, ‘wisdom is far effective! ’
And makes you answer for your guilt.
Can you unravel God’s designs?
You dare vie with the perfect God!

Wisdom is higher than heavens,
And deeper than the nether world;
’Tis broader than the ocean’s span,
And longer than earth’s dimensions.

If God calls you to judgment, then
Can anyone tell Him not to?
He knows the worthlessness of men
And ignores not iniquities.

Can empty man gather wisdom?
Can wild jackass be turned docile?
So, set your heart aright with God,
And stretch your hands to His insight!

Make your conduct free off errors;
Let injustice not dwell in you;
Then, show your face of innocence,
And stand sans fear in steadfastness.

You shall forget your misery;
They would have ebbed out like low-tide;
Your life shall seem brighter than noon;
Its gloom shall appear like the dawn!

And you secure shall live in hope,
And lie in safety paramount,
And rest with none to disturb you;

The wicked shall gape with envy;
Their escape routes shall be cut off;
They shall await their expiry!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter X)

I speak with bitterness of soul,
‘I hate my life; don’t prove me wrong.
O God, why do you oppose me?
Does oppression give pleasure, Lord? ’

‘Why spurn the good work of your hands?
Can’t you perceive like how man sees?
Is your lifetime akin mortals?
You know I’m not a wicked man,
And yet you seek my sins and guilt! ’

‘You fashioned me with your own hands
And then, why destroy me, O God?
From clay, you made me very well
Do you want to turn me to dust? ’

‘Like milk, you poured me, made me cheese!
You clothed my bones with flesh and skin;
You gave me grace and spirit too;
You hide your purpose in your heart! ’

‘You watch me sin but suffer guilt;
If I’m wicked, alas for me!
If righteous, what’s the advantage
To live in shame and afflicted? ’

‘A lion-like, you hunt me down
And show your mighty power, Lord;
Repeatedly, you attack me
And harass me, so often, God.’

‘Why out of womb, you brought me live?
I should have died without notice;
Had I ne’er lived, how much better?
From womb, you could have shown my tomb! ’

‘Are not my days on earth just few?
Leave me ’lone to recoup a bit,
Before I go to ne’er return,
From land of darkness and of gloom-
The land where darkness is but light! ’

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXXX)

The Lord then said to Job:
Can critics argue with the Lord?
Who corrects, lets him reply God.

Job answered God and said:

Behold, I’m insignificant!
What can I tell God, brilliant?
Over my mouth, I’ve put my hand;
Although, I’ve spoken once, twice and
I’m silent: You can reprimand!

The Lord told Job, out of the storm:
Gird up your loins and speak up, man!
Answer my queries, if you can.

Do you not acknowledge my right?
Do you unjustly condemn, fight?
Have you an arm like that of God?
Can voice of yours thunder like Lord?

Can you adorn in majesty?
Can you be swathed in own glory?
Can you like Him be in grandeur?
Can you radiate your splendor?

Can you unleash your wrath’s fury?
Can you tear down wicked jury?
Or bring the haughty down by a glance?
Or bury them in dust sans lance?
Or jail them hidden for their dance?
If ‘yes’, your hand can save you too.

I made Behemoth like an ox,
To feed on grass unlike a fox;
With strength in loins so much bigger,
And belly-sinews with vigor!

He carries tail cedar alike;
His thigh-bone sinews cable-like;
Like tubes of bronze, resemble bones;
His frame is like iron and stones.

He came on early in God’s ways,
Was made taskmaster in his days;
The produce of the mountains came;
All other wild beasts were his game.

He lay under the lotus trees,
In swamp with reeds and shade and breeze;
The poplars stood around on banks;
He slept, undisturbed like in tanks!

Despite the river’s violent pranks,
He lay in utmost tranquil ranks.
Who could capture him by his eyes?
Who dare pierce his nose with a vice?

Can Leviathan be led hooked?
His nose with rope could not be looked;
None could pierce his cheek with a gaff;
Some tons of food, he used to quaff.

Will such a creature plead with you?
Will he ever turn slave to you?
Will he talk tenderly to you?
Can you with him, play like birds do?

Can you leash him for your maidens?
Can you keep him within a fence?
Could traders bargain to buy him?
Could they divide him by their whim?

Can you stick barbs onto his hide?
His head with spears, can you him ride?
When once you lay your hand on him,
Your life had turned forever grim!

God’s With You; Are You With God?

God made man from dust of earth;
To dust, we’ll surely return;
God made man with soul and so,
Man seeks God and divine mirth!

No servant becomes Master;
No creature, Creator;
Yet, man was made in God’s image;
God’s love, no one can gauge.

Man is just a speck of dust
And lives in sin, pride and lust;
Yet, God loves man so deeply,
And forgives him so neatly.

Man lives on earth by grace of God;
His days are pre-destined by Lord;
All things just happen by God’s nod;
But our sins could get His rod!

Man strives to seek the unseen God;
But God is always within him;
Estranged from God is man in sin,
And life on earth turns rather grim!

Why waste your precious time in sin?
Why gather wealth meant for the bin;
Why spoil your health with drugs and gin?
Is your soul befitting Heaven?

Confess your sins to God, man.
Repent; increase your life-span;
Do more good and tilt the pan
In your favor, when you can.

Our Ephemeral Life on Earth

Like how the heavens open bringing rain,
God’s blessings will too shower, once again,
In His own time and in His divine ways,
And make our life on earth happier in pace!

A little strife can make our face sullen;
A little suffering can life, dullen;
A little wait is all God wants of us;
A little patience brings us endless bliss!

Why should we fret and fume and cry in haste?
Why should we call our life a total waste?
All things on earth are transient in type;
Our joys in life bestow on us some hype.

This earth and heaven shall all pass away,
And come will Jesus Christ on Judgment Day;
A new heaven and earth, He will usher,
Rewarding righteous souls in great measure.

Why don’t we praise the Lord in times of strife?
Why shouldn’t we thank Him for our unique life?
Why do we grumble, mumble, murmur then?
Our life on earth is meant to gain heaven!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXVII)

Job Speaks On:

The ways of God, I will reveal;
His dealings, I will not conceal;
Embittered has the Lord, my soul;
Yet, I won’t speak anything foul.

My lips shall speak only the truth;
My tongue shall not tell things uncouth;
I stand by what I say till death;
Injustice, I will not bequeath.

My heart reproaches not my days;
O let my foes have unjust ways;
Wickedness, I’m ready to face;
I’ll maintain my innocent gaze.

What can the impious expect,
When lying on the verge of death?
Will God hear his cry with respect,
When peril strikes before last breath?

Will impious for help ask God?
Will he implore upon the Lord?
Have you not seen the wicked talk?
Without their God, all life, they walk!

Although, he has children many,
The sword becomes their destiny;
His offspring shall not receive bread,
No one will bury them, when dead!

His silver-dust though be a mound,
And garments can the world confound,
The innocent, his wealth begets,
Enjoying clothes and all his debts.

His house like cobwebs disappears,
He lives forever with his fears;
All that he has is lost o’er-night;
He opens eyes but can’t see light!
The Tempest puts him off his base;
The storm sweeps him out of his place!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXI)

Then Job in reply said:

Just listen to my words, will you?
Some consolation, that can do;
Please bear with me for what I say;
And after that, mock me, you may.

Did I complain to any man?
What’s wrong with my impatience, then?
Be astonished on seeing me;
By horror afflicted truly.

Why wicked should survive on earth?
How powerful they stay since birth!
And grow up to a ripe old age
That can the righteous well enrage.

Their progeny secure always;
Come timely their kinsfolk’s birthdays;
Their homes are safe by night and day;
The scourge of God comes not their way.

Their cattle do not fail to thrive,
Stay children merrily alive;
They dance to tunes of timbrel, flute;
Songs accompanied by harp cute.

On earth, they prosper and flourish;
Although, they live lives so selfish;
They go down to the nether world,
Without the need for God though old.

They dare to tell God to depart;
They never learn His ways or art;
Why should they serve the Almighty?
Why should they pray so fervently?

Their happiness lies in their hands;
If God really hates their bands,
How often are their lamps put out?
They live in lucre and by clout.

Should they not be like straw in wind?
Should not all pity God rescind?
Shouldn’t they see their calamity,
And drink the wrath of Almighty?

And yet, they die with content hearts,
And rule over their counter-parts;
Their bones are richly marrow-ful;
They look like well-nourished a bull.

Can anyone teach God knowledge?
He is on high, the fairest Judge;
The righteous die with bitter souls,
Running all life between the poles.

And when they turn to dust at last,
In nether world, they’re too worm-cast;
Where is the house of the magnate?
And where’s the dwelling of wicked?

And monuments stand for wicked!
The poor has lived a life wretched;
The evil ones are spared all strife,
Until the end of earthly life.

Who will charge them for misconduct?
Will they repay for bad product?
The valley clods are sweet to them;
A funeral mound keeps watch o’er them.

A line of mankind follows him;
Their lives cannot be ever grim;
How can you offer vain comfort?
Your answers don’t console my heart!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXXV)

You mean to say you are more just
Than Almighty God who is first?
There is no advantage, you say
In being sinless, any day!

I can reply you and your friends;
Behold the skies that seem sans ends;
Look at the heavens higher up;
Don’t sins give God a bitter cup?

How do your sins injure the Lord?
Although many, can they hurt God?
By righteousness, how do we serve?
Does it add to our earthly verve?

Our wickedness affects just men,
And justice, only fellowmen;
In oppression, men cry to God;
When they want help, they seek the Lord.

Men ask, ‘Where’s God, most divine,
Who made man wiser than beasts’ fine? ’
Though thus, they cry to God with pride,
The Maker takes not wicked’s side.

To say that God does not then hear,
Or notices the man so dear,
Is vanity of extreme kind:
Which God does not bother or mind!

Though man isn’t able to see God,
His case will come before the Lord;
Should man not wait for fear of rod?
To do things otherwise, looks odd!

God punishes such souls on earth;
He cares not what happens since birth;
The words of Job are purposeless;
He rambles speech that’s so aimless.

Bible Stories: Jonah (Part VI)

Further Interpretation:

The Lord expects obedience,
From all His ones beloved;
God has remarkable patience,
We ought to do as said.

’Tis upto Him to spare a soul;
Or punish one early;
To watch earth’s events is His role
He forgives all freely!

Man wants all wicked ones punished;
But God has other ways;
Man wants all righteous rewarded,
God puts it off by days!

Man’s anger comes in moments fast,
God cannot be like that;
Man forgets not the things of past,
The Maker does, so what?

Though Jonah’s reason for anger
Was right, from human point;
God saves all creatures from danger,
‘Sinners, He can anoint! ’

The God who made all souls alike,
Just loves to have all back;
He speaks to hearts ‘without a mike’;
The grace to hear, we lack!

Man’s repentance softens God’s wrath,
His anger cools off soon;
He wants us walk in righteous path,
And gain Heaven as boon!

The way God sees, we cannot sense,
We have human limits;
For downtrodden, God is defense,
Give up sinful habits!

Man’s narrowness of thinking is
Well seen in Jonah’s case;
When God prepares to forgive foes,
His verdict, none efface.

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXVIII)

There is a place for everything:
A mine for gold, and for silver;
Extracted is iron from earth;
And melted is from stone, copper.

Out of the earth, our food comes first;
It also gives us golden dust;
Out of its stones, comes sapphire;
Its bowels inside is afire.

But wherefrom wisdom can be gained?
Wherefrom understanding is rained?
Nothing equal to it, man knows;
Our living earth is not its source.

It cannot be purchased by gold;
To silver too, it can’t be sold;
No precious metals can buy it;
To hold, no gold vessel is fit.

Wisdom is more than priceless stone;
Wherefrom it comes, remains unknown;
From every beast, it hidden stays;
No bird or eyes have seen its ways.

No beast has ever trodden it;
The seas, abyss are far unfit;
Abaddon never came across;
To death, it was always a cross.

God only knows the way to it;
He knows the place by mere habit;
For, He beholds the ends of earth:
All under heavens that have birth!

Even the darkness has confines;
To farthest realms, His glory shines;
He knows the nature of each rock,
And pow’r to mountains even knock.

All precious things, He knows by heart,
And probes the springs and streams by art;
All hidden things, He brings to light,
And knows the wind by weight and might.

Even the rain follows His rule;
Nothing on earth can dare Him fool;
He fixed the scope of waters too;
And knew wisdom all through and through.

To man, God said, the fear of God-
Fortitude is wisdom, Behold!
Avoiding evil, more than gold-
Understanding, comes from the Lord!

Self-motivation

Oh, tell me what to do;
I am in dire straits;
I trust no man on earth;
I don’t know what to do!

My problems are galore;
Time does not favor me;
I have to face what comes;
I am afraid, I’ll fail!

I can’t escape this time?
The odds are against me;
I’m strong but weak again;
Can I set things aright?

Yet, I’ve been quite lucky;
God helped me many times;
I’ve seen worse off problems;
I hope I’ll overcome.

So, let me try again;
I cannot lose my heart;
Courage is my answer;
I’ll face whatever comes.

Failure is part of life;
Success can’t always come;
Hopelessness shouldn’t fill mind;
I’ll pull my strings again!

Whatever comes, I’ll take;
I can’t brood, fume or fret;
Let things happen somehow;
Defeat shall not be mine!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter IX)

Then Job said, ‘I know truth is so.
But can man justify with God?
By arguments, he can’t win God;
God’s wise in heart and almighty.’

Who dares the Lord and be unscathed?
God moves mountains before we know;
God overturns them in anger!
He shakes the earth out of her place.

Pillars beneath tremble thereof;
He orders sun and it doesn’t rise;
He seals up stars, stretching heavens;
He treads upon crests of sea-waves;

He made the Bear, Orion, Pleiades,
And constellations of the south;
He does great things ‘’yond reckoning’
He goes by me, I see Him not.

He passes by, I perceive not;
Should He seize me, who can ask why?
Who dare ask him, what do You do?
If God relents not, who can ask?

The proud helpers stoop under Him;
How shall I answer him much less?
Or enter into argument?
Though I be right, I couldn’t answer.

But make my supplication plea;
Had I called Him and He answered;
I couldn’t believe He’d heard my voice;
For, tempest-like, He o’er-whelms me.

He multiples my wounds sans cause;
He won’t wish me to take my breath,
But fills me with bitterness, griefs;
In strength, He’s strong and Almighty.

If I am right, I still can’t prove;
In Judgment, who can dare question?
If right, my mouth shall condemn me;
If innocent, He proves me wrong;

If perfect ev’n, yet, I wouldn’t know;
And then I would despise my life;
He destroys righteous and those wrong;
If scourge suddenly slays, He laughs;

He gives the earth to wicked hands;
He covers faces of judges;
My days are swifter than a post;
They flee away sans happiness.

Like eagle that hastens to prey;
If I can forget my complaint,
I’ll be less sad and in more cheer;
I am afraid of all my pains.

If I be washed with snow-water
And cleanse my hands so clean with lye,
Yet, you would plunge me in the ditch
And my own clothes shall abhor me;

For, He is not a man like me,
That I should answer him better,
And should we come in judgment both,
There’s no arbiter to deal alike!

I know I’m held not innocent;
If I’m wicked, why strive in vain?
O let Him take His rod from me,
And let His fear not frighten me;
So that, I may speak without fear,
But this is not the case with me.

The lies

Crawling into my bed, with innocent eyes,
hunting my fantasies, Why? 'I ask myself'
Why? the lies. The barbarous lies, coming
out of your mouth; I pity myself, but even
more the depths of your soul.That holds a
deep sharp tongue; the lies have spoken
your hazarding thoughts. Shame will hunt
you down, when the Angel's of heaven
manifest their anguish. The lies I believed
in; will speak back to you. And torment you
like a prison sentence, the angels of heaven
will never entwine, with hell and fire. I am the
heaven you are the fire that burns the pure
and holds the wicked.The lies that come from
the heart of evil. The lies will never conquer the
depths of my thoughts, nor the truth of my soul,
the lies will eat you alive, and keep you from
the bliss and joys, becoming like knives through
your tongue. The lies that grow in your twisted
mind.

Man, Blame Thyself…

Isn’t man, the cause of problems that he sees?
Isn’t man himself the cause of his own sins?
Isn’t man alone the cause of many woes?
Isn’t man who made the planet earth hell-like?

When man deforests earth – home to wild-life,
Wild beasts in search of food enter his fields;
Man raises hue and cry: ‘wild beasts attack! ’
He is the cause of rampaging wild-life!

When man pollutes the river-waters pure
Through effluents and sewage from cities,
Will not more diseases afflict more men,
And sicknesses multiply upon earth?

When man develops habits of sins galore,
He turns a slave to devils and serves them;
Estranged from God, the blessings from heaven
Can’t come in time and ways, he wants them to!

Blame thyself man, for making good earth bad!
Your soul devoid of grace is sure hell-bound!
God allows strife, reminding you your ways
Are not in accordance with His tenets!

So, mend your evil ways and plead to God;
You have to make amends, repent a lot;
Ask forgiveness for sins and walk aright;
For, narrow is the road to heaven, man!

Hell Awaits Evil Doers

The modern world seems crazy to the core;
We strike a balance in most things we do;
Money appears to solve problems many;
Muscle does some things that money cannot.

The Media makes celebrities o’er-night;
Influence guides bureaucrat’s decisions;
Merit is given a back-seat most times;
Merchants make money paying taxes least.

Most honest citizens are taxed the most;
Success smiles on men without conscience;
The righteous eke a livelihood of toil;
The lazy ones make money rather fast.

God allows ghastly crimes to happen too;
Nevertheless, both good and bad things end;
The evil-doers have a mighty crash;
God gives a longer rope to most such men.

This does not mean that dishonesty lasts;
The wicked suffer punishments on earth;
They fizzle out like soap-bubbles in sun;
Untruth can’t rule the roost on earth for long.

Reality will bring justice to all;
The day of reckoning will seal all fates;
All evil hearts can’t escape God’s judgment;
Their harm will be disclosed in great detail.

God’s mercy may not save them from Hell’s fire;
The upright souls will get rewards from God;
The God of goodness loves the righteous;
He takes them to His own Abode- Heaven.

The Human Eye

God made the eye-
An extension of brain:
To see the beauty of all things,
He made.

God made the eye-
The mirror of the brain:
To show the mind’s beauty
Within.

God made the eye-
A camera:
To picture Nature’s lively snaps,
For man.

God made the eye-
A receiver:
To gather photic stimuli
For thought.

God made the eye-
Lovely:
To give expression to the face
Of man.

God made the eye-
For sight:
To perceive what the environs
Can give.

God made the eye-
For knowing world of good and bad:
To walk the roads in Heaven’s light,
On earth.

God made the eye-
For seeing light in dark alleys:
To look before one leaps in life
On earth.

God made the eye-
With two fine lids:
To prevent vice
From reaching mind.

God made the eye-
To see and feel:
The Omniscient Lord
Of creation.

God made the eye-
To know His love
And mercy great:
For man and beast.

God made the eye-
To see the light
Of Godliness
On earth’s terrain.

God made the eye-
To choose the road
That leads to Hell
Or to Heaven.

Hell Or Heaven

Mama used to say to me
You can make your destiny
Keep your feet planted on the ground
You can always get it back
Make a castle from a one room shack
It's what you make of what you've found
Son you're gonna find out when you're older
There's always been the hand of God
Resting right there on your shoulder
Will it be hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
Saw a man the other day
Had it made in every way
Till his greed brought him down
He was blinded by the city lights
Now he shivers in the cold at night
Who will save the lifeguard
When he's about to drown
Will it be hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
You know you're gonna walk on through the fire
You know you're gonna feel the pain
You know you're gonna lose if you wanna win the game
And every time your heart is breakin'
And every time your faith is shaken
Just remember what mama said
Oh yeah
Hope when my time has come
I'm left enough to build upon
Ain't no one gonna say I didn't try
And here's why
Hell or heaven on Earth
The choice is up to you
Look to the sky, the answer is clear
Are you gonna live life for all it's worth
Choose hell or heaven on Earth
If you live it right
There's nothing to fear
'Cause you'll find heaven right here
You'll find heaven right here (x3)

Bible in Poetry: Gospel of St. Matthew (Chapter 24)

While Jesus left the temple place,
His disciples approached Him soon,
And told Him point the buildings out.
Then Jesus told them in reply,
‘All structures that you can now see,
Amen, amen, I say to you,
Not a stone upon another
Shall ev’r remain but down be thrown! ’

And as He sat on Mount Olives,
His disciples then asked of Him,
‘O tell us when this will happen?
What sign will herald your coming?
What clue will tell us end of age? ’

Then Jesus answered their questions,
‘Just see that no one deceives you.
Many will come in my name then,
Saying, ‘I’m Messiah from God! ’
‘And thus deceive the multitude;
You’ll hear of wars and wars will come;
Don’t be alarmed for they must come;
And yet, it will not be the end;
Nation will rise against nation;
Kingdom will rise against kingdom;
There will be famines and earthquakes,
Those occur everywhere on earth;
But these are just the beginnings.’

‘They’ll persecute you and kill you;
They’ll hate you as you spread my name;
And many will be led into sin;
They’ll hate and betray each other;
False prophets will arise galore;
The increased evil will cause love
Of many to become so cold;
The ones who persevere until
The end, alone will be then saved.’

‘The Kingdom’s Gospel will be preached,
To nations of the entire world,
And only then, the end will come.’

‘When Daniel spoke of this same thing-
Desolate abomination
Then, those in Judea must flee
To the mountains immediately.
Don’t go down to get things from house;
Don’t return from the field for cloak;
Woe to pregnant women those days;
Pray that this doesn’t come in winter;
Let it not happen on Sabbath day.’

‘Such tribulation that occurs.
Has never occurred anytime,
Since the beginning of the world,
Nor will it happen thereafter.
And if those days are not shortened,
None can be saved and hence shortened
It will be, for the elect’s sake! ’

If one says, ‘Here’s the Messiah!
Or there He is, don’t believe it!
False prophets, messiahs shall come,
And perform signs and wonders too
So great, as to deceive common
People and even the elect! ’

Behold, I‘ve told it beforehand;
They may say, He’s in the desert,
Or He’s in the inner rooms;
Do not believe the things all say! ’

‘Like lightning that is seen afar,
So will be, Son of Man‘s coming!
Vultures are found where corpses lie! ’

Following the tribulation:
‘The mighty sun will dark become,
The moon cannot bestow its light;
The stars will shoot down from the sky;
The powers of heavens will be shaken.’

‘The Son of Man’s sign will appear,
In heaven while the earth’s tribes mourn;
The world will see Him come ’midst clouds,
In pow’r and glory unheard of;
His angels will all blow trumpets;
And gather all the elect then,
On earth from four winds that do blow
Across the heavens, end to end.’

‘You learn a lesson from fig-tree:
When branches tender turn, sprouts come,
It means that summer is quite near.’

‘In like manner, when signs you see,
The Son of Man is near at gates;
Amen, I say to you, amen,
‘This generation shall not pass
Away, until these things conclude.’

‘Heaven and earth shall pass away
But words of mine shall never pass.
That day and hour, no one knows yet;
Neither the angels in heaven,
Nor the Son, except the Father! ’

‘In the days before the great Flood,
There was just eating, drinking much,
And marrying, remarrying until
The day, Noah entered the Ark! ’
‘No one guessed the flood would come;
It carried them away so fast;
So shall be when comes Son of Man! ’

‘Of the two men out in the field,
One will be taken, other left;
Of two women, grinding at mill,
One will be taken, other left, ’

‘Therefore you stay awake, alert;
You never know when comes the Lord;
If only house-lord knew the hour,
Then he will stay awake, not let,
The house to be burgled at night;
So, too, you all must be prepared,
For the Son of Man shall arrive
At an unexpected hour then.’

‘The prudent, faithful servant then,
Who distributes food in right time,
And master finding him do so,
Blessed and lucky is that one:
Master puts his wealth in his charge.’

‘The wicked lazy servant who
His master has not expected
But beats his fellow servants, eats,
And drinks with drunkards while he’s gone! ’

‘His master comes by surprise then,
At unknown hour to punish him,
Rather severely in a place,
Where exist wailing and teeth-grinding! ’

Sonnet: Earth’s Only Sun

The central star of Milky Way- the Sun:
God made the sun for mankind’s sake on earth;
Around the sun, the earth is on her run;
Each dawn, the rising sun brings newer mirth!

Without the sun, the earth will turn all dark;
If not for it, the world can’t support life;
Sunlight sustains all life-forms up to mark;
Dense forests, seas, abyss escape its knife!

The ball of fire burns incessantly;
The core is hotter than one can think of;
Atomic fusion supplies energy;
Alas! A cloud can block the sun’s great laugh!

Without the sun, can life go on, on earth?
For sake of man, God gave one sun(Son) , its(His) birth!

Sonnet: And This Is How a Poet Great Is Made!

This is the way a poet great is made,
From fire to the frying pan of men-
By sufferings! His name can never fade!
His glory reaches earth, also Heaven.

Without their knowledge, men help him to write;
Their provocations goad him do better;
All through his life, he struggles for things right;
And in the end, God frees him from fetter.

He blames no man for things that happen fast;
But everything is predestined by God;
He thanks his foes and friends and stars all past;
His gift of poetry is from the Lord!

And when a Bard he’s made, the world is dumb!
None can believe- his siblings, dad nor mom!
