Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XVIII)

Bildad, the Shuhite, replied thus:

When will you end your word-duel?
Reflect and we can discuss well;
Why do you equate us to beasts?
You tear yourself in anger fast.

The light of wicked ones doesn’t stay;
No flame can burn his hearth all day;
His tent remains in dense darkness;
His lamp cannot burn with brightness.

He falls headlong into the net,
And plunges down into the Pit;
His heel is seized by trap, he lays;
A noose lies hid for him always.

At every step, terror affrights;
Ready is disaster all nights;
Destruction brings his tent down soon;
On his abode, God rains brimstone.

His roots are dry: branches wither;
The land forgets his name with ease;
His fame, the earth will soon erase;
From light, he runs into darkness.

Out of the world, he is banished;
His progeny have all vanished;
No survivor stays where he dwelt;
His fate appalls those who come aft;
The ones before are horror-struck.

The impious shall dwell like this;
The atheists never know bliss!

Fire Keepers

Keep the fire burning
That's been kindled in you soul
For the fire burns the dross away
And brings forth precious gold

Shine the light the fire brings
To the darkness in the land
For the Light is the Light of the world
And the darkness flees at His command

Keep the fire of praise ablaze
To combat life's malaise
For the Lord's fire is in Zion
An Inhabiter of our praise

Take your lamp where the fire burns
Bring oil most precious and true
For the oil causes the lamp to burn
All the dark night through

Seek the Giver of unchanging fire
From Whom all blessings flow
For you know not what the day may hold
And tomorrow is not your own.

Well Done O Cruel Well Done - Original By Rabindranath Tagore

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

If I don't burn my incense
It doesn't emit fragrance
If I don't lit up my lamp
It gives no light in my camp

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

When I don't miss you so much
And life is so hard
Then your harmful touch becomes
Your sweetest reward

In fascination and shame
I can't see you so hard game
Please set afire my darkness
By thunderbolts of sadness

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

Sonnet: Life’s Candle Flame

Our life is like a candle-wick aflame,
Whose glowing brightness drives darkness away,
And keeps on burning though a fierce Wind came,
To sputter, spew forth smoke, all night ‘til day.

A blowing Gale can make us burn too fast;
The wind can put the flame off premature;
Both wick and wax must synchronously last;
Our teacher best is dear Mother Nature.

How long each candle lasts? No one can tell;
How bright the flame can be? Depends on us;
Yet, some waste wick and wax to burn like hell!
God expects us to burn steady sans fuss.

A candle ought to light the world that’s dark;
Yet, burn with steadiness without a spark!

Darkness Of...

Darkness is not the darkness of night
it is the darkness of mind and soul.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of discrimination between poor and rich.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of dishonesty.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of aggravate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is darkness of corruption.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of indiscipline.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of animosity.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of inveterate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of perjury.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness that we all brought up inside us,

Ballade Of The Royal Game Of Golf

There are laddies will drive ye a ba'
To the burn frae the farthermost tee,
But ye mauna think driving is a',
Ye may heel her, and send her ajee,
Ye may land in the sand or the sea;
And ye're dune, sir, ye're no worth a preen,
Tak' the word that an auld man'll gie,
Tak' aye tent to be up on the green!

The auld folk are crouse, and they craw
That their putting is pawky and slee;
In a bunker they're nae gude ava',
But to girn, and to gar the sand flee.
And a lassie can putt--ony she, -
Be she Maggy, or Bessie, or Jean,
But a cleek-shot's the billy for me,
Tak' aye tent to be up on the green!

I hae play'd in the frost and the thaw,
I hae play'd since the year thirty-three,
I hae play'd in the rain and the snaw,
And I trust I may play till I dee;
And I tell ye the truth and nae lee,
For I speak o' the thing I hae seen -
Tom Morris, I ken, will agree -
Tak' aye tent to be up on the green!

ENVOY.

Prince, faith you're improving a wee,
And, Lord, man, they tell me you're keen;
Tak' the best o' advice that can be,
Tak' aye tent to be up on the green!

Blessed By The Almighty

blessed by the almighty

the blind is so lucky
not to witness the terror
not to witness the horror
but to be in his own world
sweet world beautiful world

helpless is the tale of the able
who feels so pale
yet hale and healthy
male or female
who is forced to witness
the terror and the horror

death doesn't approach
life doesn't smile
stays away far a mile
only stays a while

wishing he was also blessed
by the almighty
crawls every single day
only to see another cruel day
by the merciless beasts
who feel they are the best

the blind is so lucky
not to witness the terror
not to witness the horror
but to be in his own world
sweet world beautiful world

Lamp

You feed me oil and I continue to burn bright
You blow me out, and choose to taste the night

You stumble your way across my path
And if the winds lug me to the ground, you will feel my wrath.

When the darkness encloses all around you.
When your feet are tired of treading through rain, sleet and snow,
Out from the shadows, I emerge, a bright amber glow.

I've led many explorers, to many a distant shore
Been the center of your christmas decor
I've even brought you from the depths
Of unforgiving friends and shame
One thing that never wavers is my flame

I light up your evening
And warm you while you're dreaming
Many a romantic brunches and fine dines have I been invited to
And sat next to the finest of red wine.
I am a lamp of fine design
But the world has so much darkness now
If I burn, I won't be able to resign
It would
I am a lamp, that refuses to shine.

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXV)

Bildad, the Shuhite answered then:

Dominion belongs to God,
Who harmony brings in heavens;
Awesomeness too goes to the Lord.

Innumerable are His armies;
The stars and angels are His troops;
His light extends to all of them.

Can man be just in God’s own sight?
Can Eve’s children be innocent?
Behold the moon to God isn’t bright;
Stars luminous aren’t in His sight;

How much lesser ought to be man,
Who is but only maggot-like,
And son of man, who’s just a worm!

Burn On

You light the light in my dark places
The brightest smile in a sea of faces
Oh you watched me
You calmed me down just when I thought
Id drown
You lit a flame inside
I dont know how
But they cannot turn the light out on me now
You put a song in my dark silence
You moved my feet when I could not dance
And you caught me just when I fell
You stilled my hell of storms
You coloured all my greys
I dont know how
And they cannot turn the light out on me now
Chorus burn on, oh lovely light
Burn on, there goes the night
Burn on till all the universe is shining in your light
Burn on, burn on, burn on

Pen Light

it is in the movie house
where the pen light gets more of its relevance
you figure out the seat
with its slit of light
as you ascend
as you find that emptiness
right in front
of you behind the darkness
that you have
chosen

in broad daylight
when everything runs carefree
and obvious
nothing seems to be right
everything goes berserk
awry

sometimes i equate darkness with
being cautious
that with such a tiny light
one cannot stumble

like what the pen light does
too tiny
and yet we can never think
that we can do wrong.

Dark and Light

Darkness and Light
Too different to be friends
Too much chaos to find the ends
Darkness chases off the Light
In return Light brings a fight
Darkness hides all your fears
Where no one can see the tears
Light brings hope and better life
Cutting Darkness with a knife
In the Light, my body you will find
While in Darkness resides my mind

Lies of The Light

Mislead by the lies of the light
For in the darkness so long
That the dimness seemed bright
So I walked down the path
Of deception and lies
the tears of pain
Turned to joy in my eyes
Who woul've known
That the brightness would fade
what I thought was the light
turned into shades of grey
leading me in directions
I couldn't believe
these eyes of mines
these eyes decieve
So i'm trapped in this light
excepting my fate
I can't see the way back
I can not escape
so I'll search for the darkness
where i'll continue to be
never trusting the light
for it lied to me

My Sweet Shadow

I'm selling heaven sketches
A world out of my mind
Ready to explode in purity
To fill the holes inside
An ever moving stream
With glowing rays of light
Emotions tied to past lies
And I know I should let go
I found a flame in the burnt out ahses
...burn out, burn out
Tamed with confidence
of a brighter future
Fueled These new shores burn
Dark past lies cold Shadow
My sweet sweet shadow
To you i look no more
Another dawn collapses
Do I need to be reminded?
A glimpse of my safe home
A path to hide all anger
In circles I catch
A torch carried by the immortal
From depth that I created
In vain ecoes fade

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXXVIII)

Out of the storm, God addressed Job:

‘Who’s that who obscures divine plans,
Through ignorant words of a man?
Gird up your loins and ready be,
To answer now, my each query! ’

I’ll prove your understanding’s dearth!
Where were you when I made the earth?
Who measured earth’s size, can you tell?
Who laid its cornerstone so well?

Who stretched the measuring line for it,
While morning stars did sing and shout,
When sunk were earth’s pedestals firm?
Who shut the sea at birth from harm?

Who clad the clouds in garment sky?
Who made the darkness in bands lie?
Who latched the bar across sea’s door,
So as to still its mighty roar?

Can you command the morning sun?
Have you shown ev’r the place for dawn
To shake the wicked off surface,
And hold the ends of earth in place?

The earth is changed by seal like clay,
And dyed like garment by a Fay;
The arm of pride is shattered right
From wicked ones, withholding light.

Do you know where the sea begins,
Or walked the depths of abyss since?
Have you been shown the gates of death,
Or gates of how darkness has birth?

Can you the earth’s breadth comprehend,
Wherein darkness dwells, apprehend?
Which is the way to light’s abode?
Or place all in their homeward mode?

Were you then born ahead of all?
Your age in years, can’t you recall?
Have you been to the snow’s store-house?
Have you been to the hail’s ware-house?

For times of stress, I have reserved;
For days of war, I have preserved;
Where do the winds part o’er the earth?
And whence the east wind has its birth?

Who lays the channel for the rain?
Who shows the thunderstorm its lane?
Who brings the rain to no-man’s land,
To desolate wilderness’ sand?

To make the desert too, verdure;
Where blossoms plants unknown, mature;
Who is the father of the rain?
Dew-drops- who has them begotten?

Out of whose womb comes frost and ice,
When stone-held captive, water lies?
Can you undo The Orion’s bonds?
Give color to the forest fronds?

Can you bring in the right seasons?
Or guide The Bear’s train with reasons?
Do you know heav’n’s ordinances
And execute them on earth’s plans?

Can your voice tear through clouds aloud?
Or stormy waters, you enshroud?
Can you send lightning on their way?
‘Here we are! ’ to you, do they say?

Who counts the clouds in His wisdom?
Who tilts sky-waters to freedom?
Who fuses earthly dust to mass?
Who feeds the lion-cubs or ass?

Who brings the prey to lioness?
Who taught it to crouch in boldness?
Who gives the cock its crowing skill?
Who gives the ravens their due fill?

Darkness triumph

In gust of sorrow, does darkness dwell
Eyes open or closed, it hardly quell
Engulfs into heart shell, never to be flare
Here darkness stays virgin, forever to reign
Such purity of darkness, pious than light
Embrace every form, without any bias
Shuns worldly treasure, in emptiness seek pleasure
No light manipulate, such darkness immaculate

And in such darkness, we still feel worried
Nothing but of, our own devious belief
That in light we hardly gaze, in darkness chase
Besiege light illuminated, fails prize integrity
Of human conscience, blight by fragility
Eternity has witness, blindfold justice conquest
Alas! After viciousness, committed in light.
Triumph of darkness, linger in reverberating silence

Come Here - Light

After light comes darkness
And after darkness comes light
For you and with - I shall caress
And fly onto your flight
To the sunshine nearby
Just across the dim sea
Through the blue morning sky
That the soul sets free

Every hour of the dark
Shall not dwell on too long
For the gleams must spark
In a new day breaking song
That shall melt any ice
That has broken its way
In the roots full of lies
That now meet brighter day

Come here with your speech
In to love of the far
With every thought it’ll teach
Of peace – not of war
Come here in your wings
Fly among true love
With what it to the heart brings
Full of sunshine from above

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXIV)

Job Continues:

Why God doesn’t set time-frames for all?
Why friends can’t see a man’s sad days?

Wicked erase every landmark;
They steal the herds of other men;
They drive away orphan’s asses;
The needy can’t walk on a road;
Widow’s pledged ox is stolen too.

They drive the poor into hiding
Like desert asses, seeking food;
The Steppe provides food for their young;
They harvest untilled lands at night.

They have no clothes against the cold;
They’re drenched by heavy mountain-rains;
They cling to rocks without shelter;
They press the oil out between rows.

They glean the vineyards of wicked;
They tread wine-presses but have thirst;
They carry sheaves but look famished;
With naked bodies, they pass nights.

The dying groan in dust with pain;
The souls of wounded cry to God;
When darkness falls, the poor get killed
By murderers who abhor light.

Adulterers await twilight;
‘No eye sees me! ’ is what they say;
The thief awaits the night’s onset,
And wears a mask to roam and loot.

In dark, they break into houses,
And shut themselves when comes the dawn;
To them, the day is dark like night;
Their land is accursed to the core;
Like wood, God splinters wickedness!

God assures safety and support;
He sustains mighty by His strength,
And watches over all their ways;
Exalted for awhile, they’re gone
Like ears of grain, that’s shriveled, dry!

This is the truth and what happens!
Who brings my arguments to naught?

Sunshine vs. Darkness

The sunshine keeps the darkness away. The darkness takes over but soon the sunshine takes over again when its raining sunshine still comes through. We always want sunshine to light our way. But others want the darkness to stay around. When darkness falls many people come alive, others sleep and wait for the sunshine to come again. We all want different things for sunshine or for darkness. Some love the sunshine others love darkness. I see all the saddness when its sunshine. But yet the darkness I see all happiness. Sunshine brings saddness and the darkness brings happiness and excitement!

When There's Darkness, The Will Always Be Light

When There's Darkness, There will always be light

It was said that
Every corner of darkness,
There will always a spark of light
To eases the burden of human kind

The light will gives us hope
To live for tomorrow
The light will gives us strength
To fight for what we believe in
The light will gives us faith
To carry on living.

The light will gives us power
To stand up for our rights
To help others who is in need
To save the world from destruction and extinction
To give them the strength
To fight for tomorrow

The light is a person
Who will rise from the ashes
Who will help us to make the world a better place
Who will keep us from falling
Who will save us all from the disaster of the world

This person is an unknown person
Who will lead us all from the crisis
Who will lead us to our freedom
