We All Are HOMOsapiens
UN-evolved Homo sapiens a maggot amongst the crowd
A corpse half-life scurry in beneath the fleshy mound
An angel falling away from a once foretold pilgrimage
Knocked off unwillingly pulled down from a now so distant cloud
They say Lucifer when he was thrown away
Discarded stamped given a label dysfunctional a reject throw it away
From the heavens he pummeled straight through the ground
Conscionable thrashing through the surface
To rest in the center of the core
A star plummeting from the sky
Through the soil that holds your feet
Straight balancing your figured weight Satan never howls
No matter how hard you try to simplify the outcome
Everything filters through the palms of these
Desperate hands grasping piles of sand
Your fault an your fault alone
Ignoring the only reaching helping hand
Panic that's all that's left
Loving the things that laws have passed to ban
At the end of it all on the losing side
Runner up in the game we call kick the can
I looked surprised till the point of no return
Splat! ! face first into a followed whisper
Heard leading to a dead end no where to turn
Face to the curb..face to the curb
Accept smile an recieve the nightmares
Your dreams breeding unforeseen beatings

The Patron Saint Of Liars And Fakes
I'm holding out and I'm holding on to every letter and every song
I pulled myself out of the day we ever had to meet
Are you through with me?
So
And when it all goes to hell
Will you be able to tell me sorry with a straight face
And when it all goes to hell
Will you be able to tell me sorry with a straight face
I'm all ears and I'm all scars to hear you tell me
"Boys like you, you try too hard to look not quite as desperate."
Well I'm hanging on
But I still know the way to make your makeup run
So
And when it all goes to hell
Will you be able to tell me sorry with a straight face
And when it all goes to hell
Will you be able to tell me sorry with a straight face
And when it all goes to hell
Will you be able to tell me sorry with a straight face
And when it all goes to hell (take this to your grave )
Will you be able to tell (Ill take it to mine) me sorry with a straight face
And when it all goes to hell
And when it all goes to hell
And when it all goes to hell
And when it all goes

Ice Man
From Cap de Hault to Frenchman's Lease
Lies seven miles of moving ice,
A lady comes there once or twice a year
To view that precipice.
The glacier, that tortuously
Grinds along that deep moraine
Is known to all as 'Adam's Fault',
And Eve despairs the bleak terrain.
Eve Grise de Mare du Montalban
The countess from her place of fame,
Who played coquettish with her fan
When first to Adam's Fault she came.
Gervase and I both courted Eve
But she played him, and then played me,
The contest was uneven, for
Gervase was old nobility.
We both enjoyed a hearty climb
And took our contest to the 'Fault',
Who first would conquer Frenchman's Lease
And reach the peak, should win it all;
The right to ask the lady's hand,
To claim the prize of her by right,
The loser, then, would quit the scene,
Would disappear him, overnight.
The day was cold, a storm was due,
We set out with our picks and rope,
The ice was clear as rippled glass
As we ascended up the slope.
We'd made three of the seven miles
Before the storm burst over us,
Gervase was slightly in the lead
But stopped beside the Fault to rest.
The glacier was close beside
When I pulled up to shelter, then
A crevice, fifteen metres wide
Had opened up, quite close to him.
Gervase half turned, the blinding sleet
Reduced our vision down to naught,
He sought direction with his feet
And pitched head first into the Fault.
The depth seemed bottomless, I heard
Eventually, a distant thud,
Gervase had hit the glacier floor
And I was certain he was dead.
The storm, in one short hour had flown,
I turned and headed down again
To summon help, but he was gone;
I never saw Gervase again.
A year had passed, I asked my Eve
Her hand in marriage, and she wept;
I knew she loved Gervase, not me,
But he had gone… She would accept;
On one condition, that we two
Would journey back to Adam's Fault
Each year, until the glacier
Delivered up its grisly vault.
I had agreed, for then I knew
How slow the glacial ice would flow,
To bring that body down the Fault
Might take a hundred years or so.
But warming of the planet's face,
In recent years, increased its speed,
Though forty seven years had passed
Gervase would surface soon, indeed.
Last season, workers on the slopes
Had claimed to see a darkened shape
Deep in the ice at Cap de Hault,
But too deep to negotiate.
My mouth went dry, and I perspired
To think of that unholy hour
When Eve would see her love, Gervase
And set that love, again, on fire.
This year, I begged her not to go:
'We're getting old, too old for this, '
I pleaded, but her mouth was set:
'We must be there for our Gervase! '
A week went by, and then the call:
'A man lies underneath the ice,
We see him clear, ' the worker said,
'He's staring, looking up at us! '
So Eve and I walked up the slope
To see Gervase, entombed in ice,
He looked much as I'd left him there,
Eve sighed and wept: 'My poor Gervase! '
'He's just a boy! ' she sobbed, and looked
Surprised he wasn't old, like us,
The world had aged, and so had we
But he had travelled with less fuss.
And so I'm back, have locked our room
And left Eve to her love, Gervase,
I have a need to write my gloom
Before they take him from that place,
For when they pull that body free
From fifty years of shifting ice,
She'll see what she's not meant to see
Emerge from that old precipice.
For when they roll him from his bed
While Eve looks on, remembering,
I'll long have left this place of dread,
One bullet, swift, dismembering,
Will leave no pain, no guilt behind
Unlike the corpse of her Gervase,
Unlike the ice pick in his spine…
The shock and horror, on her face!

Laws
Laws created to curb the rise of domestic violence.
Laws created to curb the rise of racial tensions.
Laws created to curb interpretations,
Of what is and what is not politically correct.
But those who are corrupted and create the laws...
Can not see their own flaws,
That initiate the mess.
Laws created to curb a racial profiling on the rise.
Laws created to curb a greed that has affected lives.
Laws that limit freedoms to blatantly discriminate...
Those who do this anyway,
No matter what the laws are to perpetuate a hate.
Laws created to curb the rise of domestic violence.
Laws created to curb the rise of racial tensions.
Laws created to curb interpretations,
Of what is and what is not politically correct.
But those who are corrupted and create the laws...
Can not see their own flaws,
That initiate the mess.
And those upset by these laws,
Want more of them and yet neglect!
Like 'Commandments' given no respect.

Straight Through The Heart
You came on like an angel
I didnt see the evil in your eyes
I could see but I was blinded
Oh, believed your lies
You hit we with your promises
You shot me, I fell to the ground
Your promise of tomorrow
When I looked, you were
Nowhere to be found
You set me up right from the start
Stripped me of my dignity
You got me straight
Through the heart
I never did stand a chance
You got me straight
Through the heart
You cut me and left me for dead
You promised me a heaven
Turned out to be one hell all the time
The truth that youre pretending
Was just a chorus of lies
You set me up right from the start
Strip me of my dignity
And got me straight
Through the heart
I never did stand a chance
Got me straight through the heart
You cut me and left me for dead
You cut me and left me for dead
You came on like an angel
Just like an angel
You set me up
You got me straight
Through the heart
I never did stand a chance
Got me straight through the heart
You cut me, you left me
Straight through the heart
You never gave me a chance
Got me straight throught the heart
Im bleeding, youre leaving
Got me straight through the heart

It's My Fault
Everything is my fault
I am guilty for everything
Even for loving you
Which of course was a bad thing
You broke my heart
Not only with one girl but three girls
It's my fault
I am not everything you want and need
It's my fault
I can't be like her
I am sorry
It's My fault

God Gave Me Style
[Chorus]
God gave me style
God gave me grace
God gave me style
God gave me grace
God put a smile on my face
Haha, God put this smile on my face
God made me shine like the sun
God make me shine like the sun
Sometimes I feel like I'm the one
Sometimes I feel like I'm the one
It ain't my fault
[Bridge]
I just reach for style, I'm hot I breaks it down
It ain't my fault, you can't break it down the way I break it down
[Verse 1]
Listen you can call me what you want, black and ugly
But you can't convince me the Lord don't love me
When my cds drop, they sell the best
You call it luck, why can't it just be I'm blessed
I'm a trackstar, runnin' through life, chasin' my dream
?? I may even trade in a mic in for a triple beam
I zone off thinkin' is there really heaven or hell
So what happens to a changed man who dies in a cell
I need no answers to these questions, cuz time will tell
Got a date with destiny, she's more than a girl
Don't much good come from me, but my music
Is a gift given from God so I'ma use it (Yeaaah!)
[Chorus]
God gave me style
God gave me grace
God gave me style

You out the hood, that's good now stay on the grind

Straight no Chaser
Always be there face i live with
always be there face i live with
abscess memory with broken fingers
all the fallen down angels
raw pain distress it's all in the way we
know
that we could have it all some satellites
of pain can't always be ignored
war on all sides war on all sides
drink life as it comes straight no chaser
straight no chaser
drink life as it comes straight no chaser
climb inside you away from strangers
building a system of alleys and
motorways
it's all in the way that we know
we could have it all some satellites
of pain can't always be ignored
it's all in the face of what we thought
we knew before war on all sides
war on all sides keep on driving
hair left morning wet
there's nothing like losing you
there's nothing like losing you
there's nothing like losing you
there's nothing like losing you

At This Point In My Life
Done so many things wrong I dont know if I can do right
Oh i, oh ive
Done so many things wrong I dont know if I can do right
At this point in my life
Ive done so many things wrong I dont know if I can do right
If you put your trust in me I hope I wont let you down
If you give me a chance Ill try
You see its been a hard road the road Im traveling on
And if I take your hand I might lead you down the path to ruin
Ive had a hard life Im just saying it so youll understand
That right now, right now, Im doing the best I can
At this point in my life
At this point in my life
Although Ive mostly walked in the shadows
Im still searching for the light
Wont you put your faith in me
We both know thats what matters
If you give me a chance Ill try
You see Ive been climbing stairs but mostly stumbling down
Ive been reaching high always losing ground
You see Ive been reaching high but always losing ground
You see Ive conquered hills but I still have mountains to climb
And right now right now Im doing the best I can
At this point in my life
Before we take a step
Before we walk down that path
Before I make any promises
Before you have regrets
Before we talk commitment
Let me tell you of my past
All Ive seen and all Ive done
The things Id like to forget
At this point in my life
At this point in my life
Id like to live as if only love mattered
As if redemption was in sight
As if the search to live honestly
Is all that anyone needs
No matter if you find it
You see when Ive touched the sky
The earths gravity has pulled me down
But now Ive reconciled that in this world
Birds and angels get the wings to fly
If you can believe in this heart of mine
If you can give it a try
Then Ill reach inside and find and give you
All the sweetness that I have
At this point in my life
At this point in my life

Hard Lovin Woman
(blackmore/gillan/glover)
She walked into the room
Her hand upon her hip
Said look out boy
Ill make your backbone slip
She looked straight at me
The devil in her eye
I knew what I was getting but took it by surprise
No fooling
She really knocked the stuffing out of me
Some woman a hard lovin woman
She chewed me up and spat me out
Some woman
Shes a hard lovin woman
Some woman a hard lovin woman
She didnt wear nothing but a smile
Upon her face
Licking her lips but I had the taste
Her temperature was rising
I was coming to the boil
Her fires were burning
She was pouring on the oil
I do not jest she really took me to the cleaners
Some woman
I felt just great when she pulled her 38s
It started with a smile
It turned into a laugh
It ended with a scream
I said enoughs enough
Never heard a word she wouldnt let go
A mans a man and every woman ought to know
And there I was
And she was dancing
Some woman here we go again

In Search Of Peter Pan
Its been such a long week.
So much crying.
I no longer see a future.
Ive been told when I get older
That Ill understand it all.
But Im not sure if I want to.
Running into her arms
At the school gates
She whispers that Im a poor kid.
And granny takes me on her knee.
She tells me Im too sensitive.
She makes me sad.
She makes me feel like an old man.
She makes me feel like an old man.
They took the game right out of it.
They took the game right out of it.
When I am a man
I will be an astronaut,
And find peter pan.
Second star on the right,
Straight on til morning.
Second star on the right,
Straight on til morning.
Dennis loves to look
In the mirror.
He tells me that he is beautiful.
So I look too, and what do I see?
My eyes are full,
But my face is empty.
Hes got a photo
Of his hero.
He keeps it under his pillow.
But Ive got a pin-up
From a newspaper
Of peter pan.
I found it in a locket.
I hide it in my pocket.
They took the game right out of it.
They took the game right out of it.
When I am a man
I will be an astronaut,
And find peter pan.
Second star on the right,
Straight on til morning.
Second star on the right,
Straight on til morning.
Second star on the right,
Straight on til morning.
When you wish upon a star,
Makes no difference who you are.
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true.

A Dream
I dreamed that I ws dead and crossed the heavens,--
Heavens after heavens with burning feet and swift,--
And cried: "O God, where art Thou?" I left one
On earth, whose burden I would pray Thee lift."
I was so dead I wondered at no thing,--
Not even that the angels slowly turned
Their faces, speechless, as I hurried by
(Beneath my feet the golden pavements burned);
Nor, at the first, that I could not find God,
Because the heavens stretched endlessly like space.
At last a terror siezed my very soul;
I seemed alone in all the crowded place.
Then, sudden, one compassionate cried out,
Though like the rest his face from me he turned,
As I were one no angel might regard
(Beneath my feet the golden pavements burned):
"No moew in heaven than earth will he find God
Who does not know his loving mercy swift
But waits the moment consummate and ripe,
Each burden, from each human soul to lift."
Though I was dead, I died again for shame;
Lonely, to flee from heaven again I turned;
The ranks of angels looked away from me
(Beneath my feet the golden pavements burned).

The Spanish Archer
Well there must have been a reason for the
Smile that you had upon your face last night
Are you the cat that got the cream did you
Lick your lips did you close your eyes
Can you imagine how it feels its so hard to reveal
Oh I cant get through and Im falling
Im getting out Im losing ground
The spanish archers gonna bring you down
Is there someone somewhere waiting in the wings to take my place
Lets not drag it out like a cagney death scene
In this season of change its not hard to explain
Like the leaves on the trees Im falling
And as you turn dont look away
The spanish archers gonna make you pay
Do you remember when the sky was blue we used to talk for miles
And now we drive along in this thundering silence
Its such an obvious lie with that easy smile of yours
Im letting go and Im falling
Im getting out losing ground
The spanish archers gonna bring you down
Well is there something I can say as
We stumble to the edge have we gone too far
Why dont we call it a day before we call it a nightmare darlin
If we made a mistake then all that it takes to be free
Is the wave of a hand and youre falling
And as you turn dont look away
The spanish archers gonna make you pay

One Face
One face in a crowd is hard to find.
One face in that crowd is on my mind.
How can I find the face of one,
The face that to me is like the sun?
Shiny and bright with a radiant glow,
The face that picks me up when I'm low,
Eyes that light up wherever they are
Just like the splendor of an evening star,
Lips that break into the sweetest smile
That lingers for me for the longest while,
Hair that surrounds that face like a frame
That always sets my heart aflame.
I search all the faces but cannot see
The one that means the world to me.
I'm lost. I'm wretched. This should not be.
There are too many faces. I'm lost at sea.
One last glance and to my surprise
There's your face, your smile, your eyes.
The crowd's still there but not for me.
For the face I love is all I see.

The Summons
Straight to his death he went,
A smile on his lips,
All his life's joy unspent,
Into eclipse.
The song of the shell he heard
Cleaving the dark,
As though 'twere the song of a bird,
Linnet or lark.
Why would he go so fast
Out to the dead,
All in a heavenly haste
Not to be stayed?
What did he see afar
That drew him after?
Light from a merry star,
Singing and laughter?
Nay, but a face was his
Only in dreams,
Only in dreams of bliss
In the star-gleams.
Nay, but a face that watched
Long years to see
Who came by the door unlatched,
If it were he.
What was the voice before
That lured him on?
'Oh, thou long-hungered for,
My son, my son!'
Lo, he hath heard, hath seen,
He hath slipped over
Where the great days begin
For friend and lover.

The Drunkards (Story-Bullying)
There was three of them in an old pickup truck
After drinking all night at the GOLDEN DUCK.
As the sun was coming up they was screamin and cussin
As to what to do next - they was fussin.
When seeing this sixteen year old riding her bike to school
They started acting like the drunken fools.
They started screaming and howling and giving wolf cries
As the girl rode on by.
They wasn't just satisfied with their howls and cries
They wanted her by their sides.
They turned the truck around and cut her off
They was going to show her ' who was boss'.
They tried to grab her from the back
But she was prepared for any sneak attacks.
She had her guardian angel with her from heaven
And she had been learning KUNG -FU since the age of seven.
When the first one reached out to grab her
She grabbed his wrist and pulled his hand straight up and back
Till she heard his wrist crack.
As the second one came running up
A round house kick in his face
Sent him flying into space.
The third one came at her with a tire iron in his hand
As she crotched down and took her stand
When he was about two feet away and open wide
In his crotch her kick did fly.
All three men lay on the ground
as she picked up her bike without a sound
Put her bike on their pick up truck
With this girl they was s- out of luck.
Then drove the truck into town
and told the sheriff where they could be found.
They was charged with 'drunk and disorderly manner'
And on the high school there flies a banner.
'Protect yourself and don't give in
Being a bully you will never win'

Mammals and humans in sex
The breasts are not at all sexual stimulants
To the mammals; they are just milking teats
But to the Homo sapiens, a potent weapon
Since the time they started mating face to face.
Kisses are not mammals’ fore play aids.
Maximum they resort to licks and bites.
The Homo sapiens invented kisses,
Lips starving, denied enough breast milk.
We take salvage in external sex.

Can't be forgotten
Life can’t be forgotten
Wealth should be had but never be ill gotten
Both are very difficult to carry on
Still it must be lived on and won
Death can’t be cheated
As it has something to do with us and related
We may face it as ill fated
Or enjoy it as highly rated
Each stage of life is like rainbow
Welcome all of them and allow
Let one by one row of it be understood
Each row with color stands for and essential as food
Nothing may be remembered by followers
As we all are strangers and passengers
Traveling in same bogey with little space
Yet objecting with dislikes.color and race
All may get down with limited baggage
More weight may not be possible with age
Young may try to have as much as possible
Old people may find it hard to carry with troubles
What is to be preserved and what is to be thrown?
What is to be retained and labeled it as own?
Everything may vanish in little unknown time
We forget hard facts of life sometimes
We may be finished but not the bitterness
Everything takes us over easily and shown on face
We run behind it as totally mad
Result is proved to be futile and turn very sad
Fight it out but not with idea to stick
Play like ball and offer hard kick
Throw it in open field and patiently wait
Accept the goal as accomplishment or fate
It is hard to know or digest
Still it can be considered as best
Finally we have to come down and rest
Whether you take it as challenge or test

Not All Me
I rather face all on top of my face
I am the perfect target screen
For your blindly fueled rage
I bare the brunt of your long buried pain
I don't mind helping you out
But I want you to remember my name
It's not all me
It's not all my fault
I need remind you, but I won't take it all on
Past riddled rage
I see the buttons I engage
Is my dignity in place?
I'm all too happy to switch
It's not all me
It's not all my fault
I need remind you, but I won't take it all on
Lest I find my voice
Find the strength to stand up to you
Lest I stay to my limit
And only take on what is mine to
We are a team
I'm here to help mend and rescind
All I trigger unknowingly
A job I hold in high esteem
It's not all me
It's not all my fault
I need remind you, but I won't take it all on
It's not all me
It's not all my fault
I need remind you, but I won't take it all on
I'll only take some of it
