A Real Gem

A classic beauty met my eyes
As if from Roman years
And there she was, so worldly wise,
Adorned with pearls like tears.

With jet black hair to match her dress,
She smiled on my TV,
Exuding humble happiness
For all the world to see.

I watched enthralled yet not at gold
For necklaces and rings,
For she was winsome to behold,
Outshining all these things.

God bless her gently day-by-day,
This girl with twinkling eyes.
I hope God hears these words I pray
Because she's really NICE...

When She Smiles

When she smiles, it's like the sunshine outshining stars above.
Transcending time and space divine with warmth and holy love.
Her joy's just like the rainbow's arc that brightens yonder sky.
Her vibrant voice sings like the lark, a gift no man could buy.
Her eyes are like those twinkling stars, like gemstones set in pearls.
Her heartbeat's soft like strummed guitars. Her hair's a thousand curls.
Her arms are like Aladdin's Cave, with treasures beyond price.
Her courage helps us to be brave. Her wisdom makes us wise.
Her memories can guide us still, through life's confusing maze.
Her prayers provide us with the will to trust God all our days.
Her hope provides us with the light that sometimes faith would share.
Like golden eagles, we take flight and glide upon the air.
Behold this maiden's heart of gold, her fashion sense and styles.
In truth, if I may be so bold... I love her... when she smiles...

Be Happy And Live On

A wise man once told me
There is no reason to regret
He said life is way too short
Why must we always fret
I watched his eyes and smiled
He had answers and truth
The story he told me one day
And those words came proof
Be Happy And Live On
His hair was whiter then snow
His eyes a dull sleepy blue
Such a joyful smile in his face
And a heart of gold how true
A farmer in his own trade
Years of hard working hands
But he was so very much more
He was a to me a magic man
Be Happy And Live On
One day sad news came across
The old man had passed away
Tears ran down my eyes hard
I had nothing anymore to say
It's hard to really be so strong
But his words live on and on
Be Happy And Live On

Beauty is not in colours

Black hair is nice, but not black teeth.
White teeth are nice, but not whit hair.
Red lips are nice, but not red eyes.
Black eyes are nice, but not black lips.

Beauty is not in colours;
Beauty is in the concepts.

Eyes Waterfalling

Let me out to play
Let me find a way - to be
Let me feel the sun
Life has just begun for me
Eyes waterfalling, a world full of tears
Eyes waterfalling, but nobody hears
Laughter all around
Its lonely looking down - from here
Fuel my shallow pride
And teach me how to hide my fear
Eyes waterfalling, a world full of tears
Eyes waterfalling, but nobody hears
Theyve got control of my life
I cant break away
Theyve shaped my destiny
No use the boy in me
I go to join my friend
Hell bring me joy again
Eyes waterfalling, a world full of tears
Eyes waterfalling, but nobody hears
I lost control in the night
And drifted away
Eyes waterfalling, a world full of tears
Eyes waterfalling, but nobody hears

Beauty Beyond Belief!

Behold the beauty of her face, the twinkles in her eyes,
Her smile, her style, her noble grace, her countenance so wise.
Behold the beauty of her hair cascading left and right,
The way it shines beyond compare, so debonair and bright.
Behold the beauty of her lips like effervescent wine
And how genteel the lady sips when she decides to dine.
Behold the beauty of her neck, the pendants that she wears,
The choicest gems we're meant to check as she attracts our stares.
Behold the beauty of her form that stands out from the crowd...
Defiantly beyond the norm, she holds her head up proud...
For she's no timid little miss content that she's called cute...
For she's aware of all she is and seeks to stay astute.
In this old world, where youth excels, opportunity knocks...
It has been said that beauty sells as fast as diamond rocks.
To me, she's sweet, as good as gold, as fine as filigree.
When God made her, He broke the mould, for she's a sight to see...
From head-to-toe, beauty above and beauty underneath...
She's the reason I fell in love... Beauty beyond belief!

The Girl With Lovely Lips

So sweet of face was she to me, with eyes like sapphire stones!
Her voice a softened harmony, just like an angel owns...
Her song was music to my ears, a Spirit-filled embrace...
And I'll recall, throughout the years, a miracle took place!
In seconds, she had drawn me close - in minutes, I was hers.
How long I stared, God only knows, yet that's how love occurs!
Each chorus made my heart to melt, like sunshine warms the ice...
For deep inside, that's how I felt - because she looked so nice!
Her lips like garnets gently smiled, beneath her cheeks so pink -
Her countenance, so meek, so mild, I didn't want to blink!
To think, I didn't know her name, her age or her address,
Yet knew I'd never be the same or find such happiness!
I'll pray for her! May she be blessed! As blessed as I feel now!
Because, to me, she was the best God's mercy could allow...
If she were mine, my fingertips would reach to hold her hand...
I'd gently kiss her lovely lips and hope she'd understand.
Each lover knows this magic spell may fade away in time...
God bless her heart, for I can tell, she's lovely, sweet, sublime...

Eyes are eyes

Daring and crying,
Roving and exploring
Sometimes twinkling
Eyes are eyes
They speak
What’s in the heart inside?
Store tears
Flow them freely
In happiness and misery
Eyes meet eyes
Heart beats increase
Love game begins
Two souls meet
Close when one sleeps
The world of dreams
Slowly creeps
Vanishes when open
Reality seen
Unlucky are the ones
Without eyes
Unable to see
The beauty around
Eyes are eyes
They see
Good and ugly alike

A Tiny Word

Good words are like a string of pearls
That carries joy in all the curles

And bring to others to happiness door
Marked with joy, care, fun and more

So try to say nice things to all
Even if its a tiny word or small

For joy that will be left behind
Will surely spread happiness all kind

So put nice words together my dear
As it also shows how you care

And seek for hidden joy in curles
For good words are like a string of pearls.

What a beautiful girl
A golden brown hair
Is about to on curl

Her life is full of love
She will fly with golden doves
That goes hand in hand with Shea love

Mylee is inspiration to us all
A creation of unity of love to give us all
Peace, happiness and bliss

God bless her coming into this family so humble
She will fill us with pride in her arrival to mumble

At an early age...Iove you my family...
You are my heritage and you make me happy

She will be adorned with silver and gold trinkets
Crowned with lovely mom and dads gifts

Like her beauty reflects
Her life will reflect
The love that we all give her in retrospect

The Prospector's Parable

When Summer came, I looked for gold! I found it in her hair!
Such was the glory to behold, it really wasn't fair!
I went in search for sapphires! I found them in her eyes!
Where dazzling beauty conspires, intent on causing sighs!
I found two rubies in her cheeks each time she blushed with glee!
Her teeth like pearls a diver seeks deep down defiantly!
Yet all these treasures truly pale when compared to her soul
The true romantic's 'Holy Grail', the wise man's only goal...
To find a girl to love for life! The woman of your dreams!
Perhaps the one to be your wife! At least that's how it seems!
To sacrifice one's all for love, to start a family,
Remembering the Lord above has caused these things to be!
What use is life without a friend, someone that you hold dear?
That's why I'll love her till the end when silver hairs appear!
Beyond this world the soul endures - this truth I count sublime!
No more the need for doctors' cures... transcending space and time...

Ebony Eyes

Shes a miss beautiful supreme
A girl that others wish that they could be
If theres seven wonders of the world
Then I know shes gotta be number one
Shes a girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
Shes a devastating beauty
A pretty girl with ebony eyes
Shes the sunflower of natures seeds
A girls that some men only find in their dreams
When she smiles it seems the stars all know
Cause one by one they start to light up the sky
Shes a girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
Shes a devastating beauty
A pretty girl with ebony eyes
A girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
A devastating beauty
A pretty girl with ebony eyes
When she starts talking soft and sweet
Like birds of spring her words all seem to sing
With a rhythm that is made of love
And the happiness that she only brings
Shes a girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
Shes a devastating beauty
A pretty girl with ebony eyes
A girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
A devastating beauty
A pretty girl with ebony eyes
Yeah, yea yea
.......yeah
Pretty black beauty
Yeah, hea yeah
Yea, yea, yeah, yea, yea, yeah
Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yeah
Shes a girl that cant be beat
Born and raised on ghetto streets
Shes a devastating beauty

The Buckskin Bag of Gold

Last night I met him on the train--
A man with lovely eyes;
And he gave me a searching glance
Of sweet charm'd surprise!
I knew 'twas he the lady meant,
Who once my fortune told,
By his jet black eyes, his grand moustache,
And his buckskin bag of gold.

Yes! (Ha! ha!) Yes! (ha! ha!) his is the man
Who does your fortune hold!
He has jet black eyes, a grand moustache,
And a buckskin bag of gold.
Tall! (Ha! ha!) slim! (ha! ha!) quick as a flash!
And twenty two years old;
He has jet black eyes, his grand moustache,
And his buckskin bag of gold.

The dearest man you ever saw
How much I love him now!
And if I should live a thousand years,
No other hears my vow.
Like Judas--no, like Jupiter,
He look'd so brave and bold,
With his jet black eyes, his grand moustache,
And his buckskin bag of gold.

Sweet boy bring me the "Morning Call"
Perchance I'll find his name;
At the "Grand Hotel" he must have stopp'd,
I wonder when he came!
He must have charm'd those Lumpkin girls,
So haughty, proud and cold,
By his jet black eyes, his grand mousetache,
And his buckskin bag of gold.

How can I seek a name unknown?
Oh, tell me where he went!
What is this I read! why Papa's bank
Is robb'd of ev'ry cent!
The thief, it seems, left town last night,
Well, well! I'm nicely sold!
He had jet black eyes, his grand mousetache,
And his buckskin bag of gold.

Heart Of Gold

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

In a world where darkness comes up with the sunrise.
We have all made a compromise to survive.
Living a lie, with a single tear dropp in our eyes.
It turns in to many.
A plenty.
Where we have surrendered up our greatest beliefs.
A sacrifice of the soul.
We are all losing control.

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

I never thought anybody could bring me back from the edge.
My spirit is going to soar.
I'm looking for the double edge sword.
Expecting to die by it with a roar.
I thought I would have angered the beast who dwells in the fires.
But he never appears.
Instead suddenly all I see is good tidings.
It is the horse I want to be riding.

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

Who are you?
Why are you helping me?
Where does all this love towards fellow man come from?
I'm a friend.
I do this because I can.
It's not easy to understand, when they are no demands.
An angel has whispered upon my ear again.
Speaking of the knight in white armour.
Saying when he comes.
All pure souls will be undone, released and gone.

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

When it is a heart of gold.
In this story happiness unfolds.
A gift has been given.
The wise man says just take it.
Just take it.
Don't ask why.
For it could go back up to the sky.

She smiled at me

At Lolly Jackson’s bar
she smiled at me
and as smiles goes,
her’s was teasing.

She smiled quite gay
and her eyes and lips
and exquisite body begged
to play.

In my inner soul
I started to pray
to keep this blonde temptation,
with her inviting boobs and hips
far away from me.

The energy of life
was bursting out,
with every step she took.

a Year later
I saw her in the street
and her thinning hair
and bony face,
reminded me of someone
from somewhere.

When she smiled
It was a ironic grin
and somehow,
I could still see
beauty in her eyes.

Her body was paper thin
and her blue eyes
were sunken in
and AIDS had taken her
to the verge of death.

New Year Wish

'GOOD LUCK', 'GOOD LUCK'
Rings mid-night bell on New Year's Eve
Twinkling stars surround the moon tonight
As day breaks, they will be out of sight
Clock is ticking away, to bring in new day
Its time for all of us to pray, to say
'Oh GOD! THANK YOU '
'Bless Us with Love, Happiness, Health, Peace and Prosperity'
'Let there be Unity in Diversity'
'Let all the coming days and years be Joyful'
'Let the World be Beautiful'
Let us smile with the first Sunshine
Feel the Happiness thats Divine
As the gentle breeze touches, soul arouses
Fresh as dew on sweet scented roses
Its a New Beginning for me and you
To Fulfil Wishes Old and New
Everything is warm and bright
Flowers bloom in new light
'Let all the coming days and years be Joyful'
'Let the World be Beautiful'

To Sylvia

"O love, lean thou thy cheek to mine,
And let the tears together flow"--
Such was the song you sang to me
Once, long ago.

Such was the song you sang; and yet
(O be not wroth!) I scarcely knew
What sounds flow'd forth; I only felt
That you were you.

I scarcely knew your hair was gold,
Nor of the heavens' own blue your eyes.
Sylvia and song, divinely mixt,
Made Paradise.

These things I scarcely knew; to-day,
When love is lost and hope is fled,
The song you sang so long ago
Rings in my head.

Clear comes each note and true; to-day,
As in a picture I behold
Your tur'd-up chin, and small, sweet head
Misty with gold.

I see how your dear eyes grew deep,
How your lithe body thrilled and swayed,
And how were whiter than the keys
Your hands that played. . .

Ah, sweetest! cruel have you been,
And robbed my life of many things.
I will not chide; ere this I knew
That Love had wings.

You've robbed my life of many things--
Of love and hope, of fame and pow'r.
So be it, sweet. You cannot steal
One golden hour.

Hope Dieth: Hope Liveth

Strong are thine arms, O love, & strong
Thine heart to live, and love, and long;
But thou art wed to grief and wrong:
Live, then, and long, though hope be dead!
Live on, & labour thro’ the years!
Make pictures through the mist of tears,
Of unforgotten happy fears,
That crossed the time ere hope was dead.
Draw near the place where once we stood
Amid delight’s swift-rushing flood,
And we and all the world seemed good
Nor needed hope now cold and dead.
Dream in the dawn I come to thee
Weeping for things that may not be!
Dream that thou layest lips on me!
Wake, wake to clasp hope’s body dead!
Count o’er and o’er, and one by one
The minutes of the happy sun
That while agone on kissed lips shone,
Count on, rest not, for hope is dead.
Weep, though no hair’s breadth thou shalt move
The living Earth, the heaven above
By all the bitterness of love!
Weep and cease not, now hope is dead!
Sighs rest thee not, tears bring no ease,
Life hath no joy, and Death no peace:
The years change not, though they decrease,
For hope is dead, for hope is dead.
Speak, love, I listen: far away
I bless the tremulous lips, that say,
“Mock not the afternoon of day,
Mock not the tide when hope is dead!”
I bless thee, O my love, who say’st:
“Mock not the thistle-cumbered waste;
I hold Love’s hand, and make no haste
Down the long way, now hope is dead.
With other names do we name pain,
The long years wear our hearts in vain.
Mock not our loss grown into gain,
Mock not our lost hope lying dead.
Our eyes gaze for no morning-star,
No glimmer of the dawn afar;
Full silent wayfarers we are
Since ere the noon-tide hope lay dead.
Behold with lack of happiness
The master, Love, our hearts did bless
Lest we should think of him the less:
Love dieth not, though hope is dead!”

Mi Hermosa Fay

There is a girl for who I care
With deep brown eyes
And long blonde hair
A natural beauty to behold
The love she has can not be told

Oh how I wish that I was there
To see those eyes
And Stroke that hair
To keep her safe and free from pain
Something she'll never feel again

One day my Fay this will be true
And I will give my love to you
I'll see those eyes
And stroke that hair
And prove to you how much I care

Sad eyes, sad eyes, across the room
Sad eyes, crying in your gloom
Sad eyes, love has been untrue
Just look at me, oh just look at me
Just look at me, Im lonely too
Im like you, so like you, sad eyes
Oh sad eyes
Dont you know that tears can be erased?
Oh sad eyes tears wont help
But maybe I can replace that other face
Sad eyes, sad eyes, this aint just a line
Sad eyes, maybe we can find
Sad eyes, somewhere down the line
Happiness, oh happiness happiness together, you and i
Someday, some way, sad eyes
