Veer Kahlate
Jo kewal kahte nahi kar dikhlate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Mar kar bhi jo vachan nibhate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Zindagi gar apne liye jiya to kya jiya
Jo dujon ki khatir mar jate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Mumkin hai rahon me katen bichana
Jo rahon me phool bichhate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Aag lagana ghar jalana hai aasan
Jo ughde ghar hai basate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
tan man ki Apne parwah na karke
Jo rahon se hatate kante, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Hon lakh badhaye jeevan me gar
Rahte sada jo muskurate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Yun to marte roz hazaron par
Vatan ki khatir jo mit jate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
Koi sataye lakhon unko
Jo uff bhi nahi kar pate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate
‘Deep’ naman hai aise veeron ko
Jo jag me har bar na aate, wo hi sachhe veer kahlate

Sheer
Deer, seer, sheer, beer, queer, veer;
And like the trafficking of narcotic substances! !
Seer, deer, sheer, beer, queer, veer;
But their full names were withheld for security reasons,
Because of this illicit business!
Appearances,
Declined,
A court of law,
Honoured;
With circumstances beyond your control! !
But, the suspects were handed over.

Gazal-Muskurate rahiye
Zindagi mili hai muskurate rahiye,
kaam dukh dard me, aate rahiye..
Aakhon me na aason aayen kisi ke,
hasen aur sabko hasante rahiye....
shool na bichaye rahon me kisi ke,
phool hi rahon me bichhte rahiye....
vair nafrat ko ab aao door karen,
pyar hi dil me basate rahiye.............
andhera khud hi mit jayega,
''deep'' jag me jalate rahiye...............

Sledge
Sledge, edge, led, seed, see, gel, lees, deg;
Sprinkle it all over and let me come to you,
For the anointing oil is now with you.
Deer, peer, seer, jeer, beer, veer, leer, queer!
Movable is the muse of your love;
But the performances of the laws are needed by us all,
And like the two male lambs seen around your compound.

Trainer On Adult Learning/ Teaching
I welcome each one of you, dear;
Please don’t have any fear
You can see well from the rear;
Just lend me your ear.
I wish to be a facilitator mere;
Today, you may not become a seer;
You need no head-gear;
I’m sure you all can hear.
I’m not an expert but your peer;
The things I tell you aren’t new but near;
What I say could make you veer;
Certainly, you will not tear!
But this isn’t the time for a beer!

Shouts and jeers!
With executive appointments in the land of joy;
But to restore the order of this welfare is like,
The muse of Romeo and Juliet! !
Beer, jeer, peer, seer, deer, leer, veer, queer;
And of the lies being peddled against you!
But i amAdisco in the land of Red Roses,
And i am here with the facts on this issue.

Desh ki khatir
Bhadta hi ja raha hai Karwan
Aazadi ke Deewano ka
Kya khoob nazara hai
Shamma ke Parwano ka
Ched diya hai jung dusra
Bhrashtachar ki khatir
Nahi chodna hai unko
Ho chahe jitney bhi Shatir
Kin Shabdon me tariff karun
desh hamara bada kimti
Isko hame nahi hai khona
meri yahi hai tumse Vinti
Jaago zara neend se apne
Desh ko har haal me bachana hai
Hamari khatir lad rahe jo
Hame unka sath nibhana hai
Sone ki chidiyon wala desh
Aaj mahangai ke hanthon mar raha
Corruption bhi badha hai itna
Sab kuch hi khona pad raha
Lokpal bill ko lana hai
Bhrashtachar mitana hai
Sabhi ko rojgar dilakar
Berozgari ko hatana hai.
Gar Khatam huwa bhrashtachar
Khushiyan aayengi besumar
Jhel rahe jo mahangai ki maar
“Deep” sawarega ghar sansar.

I Still Remember That Night
What would you do with my love?
What would you do with my muse?
What would you do with my nakedness?
Lover of plants and lover of beauty! !

Lover of plants and lover of beauty,
For, i still remember that night.

Descent and Defeat
To Karl Borromaus Heinrich
Over the white fishpond
The wild birds have blown away.
An icy wind drifts from our stars at evening.
Over our graves
The broken forehead of the night is bending.
Under the oaks we veer in a silver skiff.
The white walls of the city are always giving off
sound.
Under arching thorns
O my brother blind minute-hands we are climbing
toward midnight

Tree Plantation Ped lagayen, Paryawaran bachayen
Vrikash paryawaran ki shan hain
Vrikashon ko na katen hum
Ped lagayen, paryawaran bachyen
Vrikash hamari jaan hain.
Vrikash lagana acchi baat hai
Par Vrikash ki rakasha bhi Karen
Apne swarth ki khatir
Ped kaatna galat baat hai.
Ped pradushan se hame bachte
Ped hi barish late hain
Ped hi sunder fal hain dete
Aur hamari sehat banate.
Ped hamari khatir jeete
Kitna bada hai unka upkar
Khud sahkar dhoop aur toofan
Dete hame thandi bayar(Hawa) .
Vrikash hamare bade kimti
Inhe yun hi na barbad Karen
“Deep” eke k ped lagakar
Ghar apna aabaad Karen.

Love’s Fitfulness
You say that I am fitful. Sweet, 'tis true;
But 'tis that I your fitfulness obey.
If you are April, how can I be May,
Or flaunt bright roses when you wear sad rue?
Shine like the sun, and my sky will be blue;
Sing, and the lark shall envy me my lay:
I do but follow where you point the way,
And what I feel you doing, straight must do.
The wind might just as well reproach the vane,
As you upbraid me for my shiftings, dear:
Blow from the south, and south I shall remain;
If you keep fixed, be sure I shall not veer.
Nay, on your change my changes so depend,
If ends your love, why then my love must end.

Lure Of The Path
The path in the woods
that was calling to me
was filled with wonders
I would not see.
For fear of the unknown
was a terrible thing.
But still the lure of the path
did bring
curiosity that could
not hold me back.
No matter the danger,
no matter the fear
I'd travel that path
and never veer.
For the path in the woods
would always be
waiting for me
and calling to me.

Many Will Love You
Many will love you; you were made for love;
For the soft plumage of the unruffled dove
Is not so soft as your caressing eyes.
You will love many; for the winds that veer
Are not more prone to shift their compass, dear,
Than your quick fancy flies.
Many will love you; but I may not, no;
Even though your smile sets all my life aglow,
And at your fairness all my senses ache.
You will love many; but not me, my dear,
Who have no gift to give you but a tear
Sweet for your sweetness' sake.

In his image
god creates the physique
as a compass
to him
the body a sanctum
to cultivate
the soul
god creates the physique
as a guide to
finetune his soul
god creates the physique
a tool to upgrade the
vibrations of the soul
in order that it can fit
nicely into the mould of god
god creates the physique
to see how far man
can veer away from him
the physique a piano
songs of the soul
are played

Revoked
Revoked,
Battle,
Multitude,
Pestilence,
Without! !
But your sweet muse is very much noted by all.
Revoked, reed, deer, dove, doe, drove, revoke!
Withn and without;
But your sweet muse is very much noted by all,
And you came out of the war alive.
Revoked, veer, ore, roe, rode, rove, rod, red, do;
Within and without!
And like the joy of your works at hand;
But your sweet muse is now noted by all.

Sonnet: God Is Our Master And Guide
The work of God is strange in its outcome;
He knows the needs of every soul He made;
He hears our calls though He may look so dumb;
And guides all hearts to do the things He bade.
However much a man may slog in life,
Things cannot happen without God’s consent;
He tests each heart and soul with joys and strife;
The good on earth we do is Heaven’s rent.
God’s chosen souls can’t ever from Him veer,
From righteousness, if God wants them all near;
He knows the hearts even before we think;
He knows the song even before the ink.
All souls to God must finally comply;
Queries of God, We must someday reply.

Abernathy Road Roundabout
Bronze angel, strong arms
lifting the rainbow,
you stand in the center.
Our fast cars veer around
north, then east
to shop, to school,
to home
but we can’t see
what you see.
Even the truckers,
who lumber down
Abernathy Road
and enter the circle
with heady grapes
ready for press, for barrel,
for thick, green bottle
steer past you.
Our lives are scheduled over-full.
We all have
some place else to go
until unfulfilled,
we return at last
to our bright center,
and in your embracing arms
we rest.

Sonnet: Less of the Different?
(after Ashbery)
A sonnet's 'just more of the same'? Uh, no.
It's rather like less of the different.
There is no formula involved, you know.
True, syllables and lines and rhymes get spent
At predetermined intervals: mirage
Of order. Inside, sonnets are a mess
Of words, a slew of syntax, a barrage
Linguistically set off; are nonetheless
Provisionally impish-and as free
As freest verse to chat up any ear
Or signal any eye. The form, you see,
Is just a well mapped route from which to veer.
A sonnet is a disobedience
Of sounds, a flaunt of form, a tease of sense.

I Will Write About You, God
I will write about You,
With my last breath I would.
Your Hand's upon my pen,
Your Words in mind again.
Tried to veer away from it,
Tried some drama and some wit,
But You are so persistent,
Gave the score for my content.
You will not let me go,
I plant Your Words, they will grow
In hearts of hardened soil so barren,
You draw them in, the souls of men.
Now is the time, now is the season,
To write Your Words that is the reason
This gift was given, it's for You.
Until the end...I will write about You.
'For it is God Who works in You, to will and to do according to His good purpose.'
