Eyes of the Earth
Clouded ponds…
Emerald lakes…
Lens to enlarge
To magnify
To look far without
From deep within
Eyes of the earth
To study the sky

Big and bold and defined
you are like a lens
You are like a lens
A big round thing of
Convex glass
Magnifying every minute
Thing or small matters
Every word every letter
Well on a positive side
All words become so clear
And they appear so loud
On the other hand, don’t
Magnify sunshine lest it
Becomes so hot
and turn To fire and
we get burned we get charred.

Earth Again
They are incomprehensible, the things of this earth.
The lure of waters. The lure of fruits.
Lure of two breasts and the long hair of a maiden.
In rouge, in vermillion, in that color of ponds
Found only in the Green Lakes near Wilno.
An ungraspable multitudes swarm, come together
In the crinkles of tree bark, in the telescope's eye,
For an endless wedding,
For the kindling of eyes, for a sweet dance
In the elements of air, sea, earth, and subterranean caves,
So that for a short moment there is no death
And time does not unreel like a skein of yarn
Thrown into an abyss.

Corner Of The Earth
Little darlin dont you see the sun is shining
Just for you, only today
If you hurry you can get a ray on you, come with me, just to play
Like every humming bird and bumblebee
Every sunflower, cloud and every tree
I feel so much a part of this
Natures got me high and its beautiful
Im with this deep eternal universe
From death until rebirth
This corner of the earth is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it Im blessed
When the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
So inspired of that theres nothing left to do or say
Think Ill dream, til the stars shine
The wind it whispers and the clouds dont seem to care
And I know inside, that its all mine
Its the chorus of the breakin dawn
The mist that comes before the sun is born
To a hazy afternoon in may
Natures got me high and its so beautiful
Im with this deep eternal universe from death until rebirth
You know that this corner of the earth is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it Im blessed
When the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
This corner of the earth, is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it Im blessed
When the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me

Soul searchin
Isolation from the truth
Got me deep in their lies
So I close my ears shut
Stare deep in their eyes
But I don’t see clear
So proceed with my mind
Only to learn we can’t connect
I’m deceived by their kind
At times I wish I could just
Flow with the breeze
I’m gone with the wind just
Blow on the trees
No hesitation to make moves
Finally free
But my souls stuck in this body
Till freedoms achieved
At times I wish I become
One with the waves
One with the ponds with the rivers
Or the lakes
One with the ocean or seas
No debate
I’m alone in the streets
I need the keys to the gate
But every time i spend a couple of
Hour’s with nature
a feeling of fulfillness
Begin to take over
But I guess this is what you call a
Spiritual healing'
Accompanied by calm waves
Call it mutual feeling

You are the lens in the beam. You can only receive, give, and possess the light as the lens does. If you seek yourself, you rob the lens of its transparency. You will know life and be acknowledged by it according to your degree of transparency, your capacity, that is, to vanish as an end, and remain purely as a means.

Emerald Green
Emerald green is the colour of life and of the springtime,
Conveying harmony, joie de vivre and most important, love
Emerald green retains its lively vigour all the time
In all nuances, like those wonderful green eyes that rove.
Sunlight dances across the Gulf of Mexico, a lovely place
With emerald green waters and very hot white sand.
Moreover, we see this green in a forest, a darker space,
Or we can see it in the green grass in the Spring land,
A metallic green body with small yellow sweet stripes
And emerald eyes has the Hine’s emerald dragonfly.
Nymphs hatch in marshes high in sedge meadows,
When sheds its skin and emerges an adult to fly.
A mineral emerald green contains the Romanesque murals.
The old Masters used verdigris for them and copper green
To make a deep brown, mixed it with sulfur-containing colors,
Such as cadmium yellow, vermilion or blue-ultramarine.
The green we see in December represents the evergreen tree,
A symbol of life continuing even in that dark day.
We look to the pins and the rhododendrons and we agree
That greenery will return to the world again someday.
The green chosen for the color scheme of Christmas night
Is emerald green, that deep, pure, clear green inside
That seems to shine with light, in the season of white
When there isn't much natural green available outside.
A very ambitious plant is hymenaea courbaril, the tree named Amber
It has the most attractive emerald-green heart shaped leaves.
Like Orchid Tree, so pleasing to the eye with their alluring shimmer.
Lycopersicon esculentum has emerald green tomatoes with dark green stripes.
With this emerald green Van Gogh wanted to paint plastic correctly
Maybe his eyes saw a special nuance, after cutting his ear
He worked alla prima, on to the canvas painting directly
From his imagination and from reality, making the image believable.

Dippold the Optician
What do you see now?
Globes of red, yellow, purple.
Just a moment! And now?
My father and mother and sisters.
Yes! And now?
Knights at arms, beautiful women, kind faces.
Try this.
A field of grain—a city.
Very good! And now?
A young woman with angels bending over her.
A heavier lens! And now?
Many women with bright eyes and open lips.
Try this.
Just a goblet on a table.
Oh I see! Try this lens!
Just an open space—I see nothing in particular.
Well, now!
Pine trees, a lake, a summer sky.
That’s better. And now?
A book.
Read a page for me.
I can’t. My eyes are carried beyond the page.
Try this lens.
Depths of air.
Excellent! And now?
Light, just light, making everything below it a toy world.
Very well, we’ll make the glasses accordingly.

A Little Catechism From The Demon
What is a demon? Study my life.
What is a mountain? Set out now.
What is fire? It is for ever.
What is my life? A fall, a call.
What is the deep? Set out now.
What is thunder? Your power dry.
What is the film? It rolls, it tells.
What is the film? Under the Falls.
Where is the theatre? Under the hill.
Where is the demon? Walking the hills.
Where is the victory? On the high tops.
Where is the fire? Far in the deep.
Where is the deep? Study the demon.
Where is the mountain? Set out now.
Study my life and set out now.

Perverse
I can't even look at you
Remembering what you meant to me
Remembering now how it felt to walk alone
When all around was laughter and chaos
Looking at your eyes
Still and unblinking for the lens all seeing
The lens is killer
The observer perverse
Yes
I am
Perverse

Emerald Eyes
Written by bob welch.
You dont know what she means to me
Shes a heart that beats close to me
And gettin back to the way I feel
Her honest word is my only real thing
When she comes to me then I feel fine
And Im not afraid but so gratified
Emerald eyes is a mystery
Starin through to the heart of me
Find, emerald eyes in the night
Gleamin shiny and bright
As if covered with silver
Shes still a mystery to me
The way she sails away slow
Makes your day to day life easy
Emerald eyes is a mystery
Shes my place of serenity
And gettin back to the way I feel
Her honest word is my only real thing
Only an honest word, maybe a sky report
Could be a weather bird it was so close to me
Emerald eyes is a mystery
Shes my place of serenity

Sentinels In Green
Leaves a dancing.
Sentinels in green.
They cascade down the hill
An emerald waterfall.
Oak, ash, beech,
A joyous blending,
A whispering chorus.
Flirting in the wind,
This gossiping canopy.
Glorying in the sun.
Set deep in black earth
They know no boundaries.
Do not fight for their scraps of earth.
A perfect synthesis, harmonius,
Joyous to behold.

A Winter Memory
Enchanting Winter Memory
The day is lead dark and heavy, TV tells me of unwanted snow,
planes cannot take off or land.
There wasn’t much snow on the flatland of western Norway,
but it was cold, lakes and ponds froze and a bitter wind blew.
I skated round and around till I was inside a white vortex and
the world a blur, I heard nothing alone in the magic stillness
of my breath, now I was free and could fly.
Suddenly the wonder ended, I fell on hard unyielding ice, back
on earth I heard the farmer calling me… milking time.

My Way Home
I will give it all
We've all been down the dusty road trying to see around the bend
In search of something
Lots of faces different places, emptiness had settled in
And then I saw him
I'm the lover of your soul
Deep inside this man that I know
Vision picture perfect world as you focus in the lens
Fairy tale begins
I'm so happy that I found you
I just wanna break down and cry and laugh and hug and kiss
I'm the lover of your soul
Deep inside the man that I know
I will give it all and let go
Through his eyes I find my way home
He can take me to heaven
That's why I need him, and I want him
That's no one I'll ever love, no other can touch him
I will promise you with all I am
I'm the lover of your soul
Deep inside this man that I know
I will give it all and let go
Through his eyes I'll find my way home
I will find my way
I will find my way
I will give it all
I'm the lover of your soul
Deep inside this man that I know
I will give it all and let go
(go go go go)
I will give it all and let go

Take Her
As she danced about the sun,
She whitened the green plains under her;
As she moved about the moon,
She whitened the red valley below her;
But, in the light of her golden wings i do rest my case.
With a gentle motion in heaven's blue smile,
Over the lakes and the plains with her sweet love;
But in the depths of the purple sea,
The stars peeped behind her and peered.
She is very far away but,
Her love and rest ardour me;
And the diamond lights up her secret mine like,
The dark plains below her;
Which is found in an old region when looking for her.
The pearl gleams forth from her coral strand,
Like the wealth of the seas;
Over her sands of gold i do respect.
Not there my child,
Over here to see the fearless eyes of love;
Like the lit by her deep love's truth.
Her love is like the flowers of the bees,
Remembering the day when she first came;
Take her as your wife and make love to her.
Take her like the sages of Egypt,
Take her like the wealth of the seas,
The very lit by her deep love's truth;
Study her dance and be in love.

Monuments And Melodies
My hands are trembling
And my eyes are on fire
And this house is crumbling
And I've been left out all the while
Yeah, yeah
You make me happy
You magnify my better half
You make me certain
Though all I have today is your photograph
My past is perilous
Each scar I wear sings
Monuments to where I have been
And melodies to wear I am going
Yeah, yeah
You make me happy
You magnify my better half
You make me certain
Though all I have today is your photograph
When will I see you again?
Still-life can only go so far
I need you in front of me
To say my name
Say it to me, say it to me
Say it to me, I want you the way you are
The way you are
Yeah, yeah
You make me happy
You magnify my better half
You make me certain
Though all I have today is your photograph
You make me happy
You make me happy
You make me happy
Oh
