Spirit

‘I died early, ’ said the Spirit,
‘So I didn’t have the chance to learn,
And though I don’t exactly burn
With envy for your thirty years,
It’s such a pity dying young,
The pleasures of a youth, unsung…
For all I left behind of me
Were memories of my mother’s pain
In birth and death,
Though such a breath of time it took,
It’s hard to judge that I had been,
That any could remain.
But for my father’s constant hurt,
His burden through a lonely life
Was such to crush the living breath
Right out of him, but could I see,
And crush the death right out of me.’

‘I hunger then, for knowledge
Of the seven wonders of the world
And nature’s secrets, all unfurled
As life unfolds before a man;
Of seas and skies, and mountains high,
The visions of an inner eye,
And colours I have ever longed for,
Colours I have never seen,
Though I have dreamed,
(Poor substitute it is for truth) :
I need the miracle of sight,
The senses in-between,
Which add your touch and taste and smell
To that of thought, which now I am,
A lonely thought communicating in itself
Its loneliness,
Your knowledge is an untold wealth.’

‘I envy you, ’ I then replied,
‘For ignorance of man’s affairs
Is rarely found,
And one who cares is better off
To never know.
But since you must insist to hear
The seven wonders are but fear
Of War, that selfish slaughter leaving
Millions dead and millions maimed,
And poverty, when countless numbers
Starve to death,
Diseases raging through a stricken land
To our undying shame
And apathy to suffering,
The depths of immorality,
And crime and violence in the streets
That holds a sway on everyone,
Commercial greed is God today.’

The Spirit sighed a troubled sigh;
‘An answer such as this unwanted
Tale of human misery and suffering
I’d not prepared for,
Makes me care for man no less, but
Takes me back and leaves me low.
A thousand years of meditation
On these things may mend my wound,
But now I cry, and go to find
A quiet place…
My innocence will not repair,
Not now or even soon.’

And so he sadly turned away,
In seconds then was lost to view,
I shouted that I meant to say
We still have hope…
But he was gone.

If we have time, I’ll never know!

It's All Because of Death

Why we are separated from our love ones?
Why we all have to die?
Why did you leave me alone in this hurtful world?
After all your promises dat you will be there,
for my wedding day, my graduation at the university.

Today I'm suffering because of death.
Today I have no father who will guide, protect, provide for me.
Today I don't have a home.

why death?
I'm living with my aunt she abuse me.
I have to obey everything she says, my feelings doesn't maater.
I don't have a say.
Why did you take my dad?

Death have no shame.
Why didn't you let me be a man before you take him?
You did the same thing to my mother when she gave birth to me.
She never had a chance to hold me in her arms.

I hate you death!
You took everything from me.
Sometimes I go to school empty stomach.
I'm living a life wit' no joy, no peace, no happiness
I'm a slave to her and her kids.
They treat me so...... bad, so... cruely....so less human.
I cry day night.
Saying why death?
but nobody answer me.

I'ts all because of death.
Death caused me suffering.
All I have is hatred in my heart.
IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF DEATH.

from a broken heart.

Ain't No Nice Guy

When I was young I was the nicest guy I knew
I thought I was the chosen one
But time went by and I found out a thing or two
My shine wore off as time wore on
I thought that I was living out the perfect life
But in the lonely hours when the truth begins to bite
I though about the times when I turned my back and stalled
I ain't no nice guy after all
When I was young I was the only game in town
I thought I had it down for sure
But time went by and I was lost in what I'd found
The reasons blurred the way unsure
I thought that I was living life the only way
But as I saw that life was more than day to day
I turned around, I read the writing on the wall
I ain't no nice guy after all,
I ain't no nice guy after all
In all the years you spent between your birth and death
You know there's lots of times when you should have saved your breath
It comes as quite a shock when your trip leads to a wall
I ain't no nice guy after all,
I ain't no nice guy after all
Hey Slasher?
When I was young I was the nicest guy I knew
I thought I was the chosen one
But time went by and I found out a thing or two
My shine wore off as time wore on
I thought that I was living out the perfect life
But in the lonely hours when the moons the only light
I thought about the times when I turned my back and
stalled
I ain't no nice guy after all,
I ain't no nice guy after all

Caress

I used to be careless
Then I longed for the sweet caress
The freedom, the release
The end of me
It was what I ate every morning
That thought... dying didn't matter, no mourning
What is there to mourn when there's no value?
And what can you value in brokenness
In deceit, in hatred, in lust, in loneliness
All I valued was the caress,
The lovely dark touch
The release, the purpose, the crux
I earnestly waited
I ardently longed
I deeply desired
But one day my whole life changed...
I saw value, I felt value, I saw love, I felt love, joy unfeigned
I cant quite describe it, certainly not it all
It was the day He stopped my fall
But I still longed for the caress
The end to the pain, the end of suffering
I had new reasons now I must confess
But the old remained too
I still earnestly sought to escape, but this time to You
I sough the seemingly easier way out.
Let me just say it outright
I've always juts wanted to die, desired death, eternal night
I sought death, sometimes it was all I thought about...

But today (3-23-12) I finally felt fear
Not only did I not desire death
But I was afraid of it I could not just let
My life go, and I knew You were near
So I didn't want to die, I felt fear
I wanted to give my friend a gift
With hopes to encourage and uplift
I wanted to free my friends from the lie
With truth, love, faith and hope
Not be remembered as 'there for them', just to help them cope
But to free them from bondage
From death so they might have life, no cage
No prison, no lies, no fear, no shame, no death
I want to see them live, I want to live with them
I don't just want to know when
I want to be there
I want to be there when it happens
So I cant die... I won't die, not yet
Not till they know life.

Sorry God if it
s a selfish request or thought
But I fell like this is kingdom You brought
So now I want to bring them in
Please help, I cannot do it alone, not in my sin
But with You I'll take them back
So for the first time in my life I
I don't want to die
Help me show them Your love, let it overwhelm

All of this from a bee
That landed on me
You could say I'm allergic, I could go in a coma or die
I wished that ti would just fly
Away... but in that moment I caught
Myself fearing death, desiring life, I haven't fought
The good fight, I'm fighting
I'm loving
I'm seeking
I'm praying
I'm finally...
Finally
Living

You Might Know A Hero...

Many have been wounded on the
battlefield of life. Wounded, in
their homes, streets and back
alleys of social interaction.

In the battle to survive, are there
more formidable enemies, than
grief, loneliness, illness, poverty,
and lost love?

So many, although seemingly
defeated, by an army of foes,
to opposition of life and living,
fight...go on.

Countless millions, are wounded by
emotional bullets...lethal grenades
of death, taking a loved one... and the
machine gun fire, of cancer and
other devastating diseases.

Yet, with a courage that can not be
measured, these unsung heroes
.go on.

Let there be a Congressional Medal
Of Honor, for life, for those unsung
heroes and their unyielding courage. Let
them know, in their time of need,
we shall provide them with, they emotional
medicine and care they require.
Love, compassion and understanding.

The next time, the word 'hero' is spoken,
look around, for on the battlefield of
life, there are millions, 'of unsung heros.'

From Childhood To Manhood

He wonders why his emotions come out.

When things in his life does not go right.

Demons that he struggles with and fight.

He wonders why his childhood family have stop communicating with him.

He wonders how things have change when we have matured.

He wonders how fast that his life went by sometimes he cry when

someone special die.

He have dreams of close people that he wish that was still alive.

He wonders why some of the people that he loved have left.

He wonders why its tough to make it in life but its really hard to go through death.

Memories that he love most that ended bad.

Which he truthfully knew that person who he could get along with the most out of any other person.

His heart is sunk down, but he is truthfully hurt with so much pain.

Sometimes he feels that things will never be the same when it rains.

He wonders why his friends that are alive have change since we grew.

All that matters if only that they knew.

Money never matters to him.

Because his family and friends was his support that makes him have a strong heart.

He wonders how will he die only time will tell as years pass by

He only live by the truth not by a lie only whats real that meets the eye.

That Millions Do Live In Poverty

That millions do live in poverty should never be seen as okay
The gap between the haves and the have nots keeps getting bigger by the day
Everyone should have the chance to live happy a home to live in and enough for to eat
There never should be slums and ghettos and never a poverty street,
That millions are born to live in poverty and to end their hard lives in despair
Only tells us if there's a god that god favours the wealthy and that god is not very fair
To leave millions homeless and dying of malnutrition the people condemned to die poor and young
In the refugee camps of the World live the displaced, the poor and unsung,
In the age of celebrity worship the poor in millions multiply
Why millions are destined to be poor don't ask me I wouldn't know why
Even in the World's wealthiest Countries poor people are no longer rare
And millions and millions of have nots in the bigger World out there
And millions are dying of hunger and millions are doing it tough
And millions are displaced and homeless and as refugees living it rough.

Scared to Death

I feel my heart beat as I lie there and breath every breath in.I feel as if im scared to death and nothing there to support me as i fall.I dream dreams that could not have an explination to them.I wake up breathing as hard as before as my feet touch the floor, I am scared to death.I love my life but there comes a time when you just have to admit everything that is wrong. As I breath so calmly and smooth just then i find out the truth.Im scared to death.I walk around with a smile and realize this life has so many 'un-discovered' facts and as we learn the facts i see that the worlds going to waist.Im scared to death.I look around wondering if anyone else knows or feels my pain, only because im scared to death.I wish i could tell someone I wish they would know, so i dont feel as if im in the world alone.Im scared to death.I wonder how i live this life with all the secrets i hold my behind my breath just to realize im scared to death!

Self Is Grand Mother Of All!

Knowledge is mother of fear,
minion of mother,
Understands what is fear,
Knowledge of pain,
Knowledge of failure,
knowledge of action and reaction
and when grown up,
becomes minion of fears!

Soul in the growing body,
knowledge becomes mother of fear,
May be pain of a fall,
Or a bite of ants or wasps,
knowledge of things around us is mother of fear!

Knowledge of own capabilities and inabilities,
Knowledge of bondage and faults,
Old age and death,
knowledge of pain
strain,
failure or insult,
knowledge of fall is mother of all fears!

Body, mind and intelligence,
When glows with knowledge of world,
Every thought and action,
Orbits around unknown fear,
Spinning or rotating around axis of fear,
its cute pet name is carefullness!

Paradoxically,
Fear is mother of all Knowledge,
Fear of fall,
Makes one carefull on walk,
Fear of consequences,
Makes one to think right,
act right or walk straight,
Fear is mother of all Knowledge,
Takes one above the plane,
or takes one to man of knowledge,
Make one polite and flexible,
fear of death makes one to think of eternal,
Fear of law, may be law of land,
Law of divine or law of nature is mother of knowledge,
Everyone is comes with lesson,
Either to teach or to learn,
Every fear of consequences is mother of all Knowledge divine!

Fear of flaws of own,
or flaws in human laws is mother of all Knowledge!
The best teacher never preach,
But teach to clean the knowledge that is mother of fear,
Tears off the veil of fears,
Lit the lamp of knowledge of fearlessness,
light the dark corners,

Fear of sin or reasons for the fall,
Replaced by knowledge of courage,
Expert is that captain of ship,
Drive to safe still water,
Anchore safe,
the ship swinging in storm of fear
Is safely anchored in knowledge free of fears!

Or fills with knowledge of fearless Self,
can pierce the balloon of fear,
Make one
Work well, live well and behave well!

And fear becomes a trait,
Knowledge is mother of fear,
Knowledge of old age,
Weakness of old age,
Or may be of body and mind at growing stage!
Experience of adverse
gives rise to knowledge that is mother of fears!

But experience of love and compassion,
Fear of fall is good companion,
Teaches discipline and restraint
Make one daring and caring,
Someday one will understand the paradox,
'Knowledge is mother of fears,
Fear is mother of all knowledge,
God is father, and Self is Grand mother of all! ! !

Compassion And Empathy

They have so much in common compassion and empathy
And those who do possess them are blessed 'twould seem to me
For these are rare enough gifts in the Human World of today
Where many are poor and homeless and in life have lost their way
Those with empathy and compassion in words never put others down
And you never will find them amongst the judgemental of the town
They feel for the suffering of others more of their type we do need
For their kindness and generosity of spirit as good people they do succeed
Those with empathy and compassion always helping people in poverty
They help the homeless and the destitute and they help the refugee
If everyone were like them there would not be poverty and crime
And war that cause death and suffering would be of another time
But not everyone is like them which does seem sad to say
So for those with compassion and empathy let us hear the loud hooray.

Life Or Death?

Every day we live, we always face death
We get closer to it, every time we take a breath
Life is special but death brings peace
Life brings reality and things you believe
Death is hard for everyone around
Death is quiet, no more bad sounds
Life is also hard, all the things we go through
Life can never be easy, no matter what you do
Death is sad, for those who cry
Death is meaningful, for those who die
Life is a work of art, it's nice to look
Life is full of teachings, like an open book
Death is the new life, might as well be dead
Death is a lot more, for what's up ahead
Life brings new things, always something new
Life brings surprises, something out the blue
Death is scary, nothing we want to see
Death is negative, a place we don't want to be
Life is full of love, with the ones close to you
Life is full of money, for those who sue
Death is empty, nothing compared to this
Death is a lot of things, too long of a list
But life is everything; don't wait till there's nothing left
Death can wait, so don't waste your last breath
So just pick your choice, which one? Life or death?

Question

Why do we never get an answer
When were knocking at the door?
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war.
Its where we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need.
In a world of persecution
That is burning in its greed.
Why do we never get an answer
When were knocking at the door?
Because the truth is hard to swallow
Thats what the wall of love is for.
Its not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
Its more the way that you mean it
When you tell me what will be.
And when you stop and think about it
You wont believe its true.
That all the love youve been giving
Has all been meant for you.
Im looking for someone to change my life.
Im looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what its done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me through.
Between the silence of the mountains
And the crashing of the sea
There lies a land I once lived in
And shes waiting there for me.
But in the grey of the morning
My mind becomes confused
Between the dead and the sleeping
And the road that I must choose.
Im looking for someone to change my life.
Im looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what its done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me to
The land that I once knew.
To learn as we grow old
The secrets of our souls.
Its not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
Its more the way you really mean it
When you tell me what will be.
Why do we never get an answer
When were knocking at the door?

Ive Found A Reason

Written by ricky & kim wilde
Been a long time alone now
Only live every day on my own terms
Doing everything my way
If you dont understand you had to learn
You say you see a different world
That you dont believe in what I say
Now you walk into my world
Aware of the danger
But you wont turn away
Somewhere down the road I left a part of me behind
The girl you want to know left years ago
Before she lost her mind
You brought back the heart in me
I thought Id never find
cos I didnt care before
But now Ive found a reason
Baby, how did you find me
Ive been lost for so long without a trace
You came back to remind me
Got me back from a sad and lonely place
And all the ghosts have disappeared
Youve taken away the things Ive feared
Ive turned my back on all the pain
You gave me a reason to llive my life again
Somewhere down the road I left a part of me behind
The girl you want to know left years ago
Before she lost her mind
You brought back the heart in me
I thought Id never find
cos I didnt care before
But now Ive found a reason
You were there before my eyes
How could I have been so blind
Ive got one life
Ive been wasting time
You came to save this heart of mine
And all the ghosts have disappeared
Youve taken away the things Ive feared
Ive turned my back on all the pain
You gave me a reason to llive my life again
Somewhere down the road I left a part of me behind
The girl you want to know left years ago

You brought back the heart in me

Now Ive found a reason

My Lover, Death

I am depressed
My tears repressed
Whilst inside
My pain I hide
They just don't care
They only glare

I hold my breath
As I welcome Death
I walk inside;
His lonely bride
Only He cares
Misery he shares

My lover Death
Take my last breath
My body cold
My life He holds
Death is my love
He is enough
To take my soul away

Disingenuousness

Here lies another box for nature,
Carbon ready;
Black to eyes down here,
Where death is at its job.

Up there you’ll hear a rhythmic sob
Or two from living yet-to-dies –
A humming lacrimoso –
It all but cleans the eyes:

Forget it –
The dismal show of grief –
Life is only chemistry –
Our stay is only brief.
It’s we who hype it up!

Diaphragms jerk again;
The jet monotone of hearses
Feeds the disingenuousness
Of undertakers –
They seem to stare at something up ahead –
For them, it’s in the blood,
To taxi off the dead.

Tiny Words

Who am I?
What I am?
..dont really know..
Today right now
I think I feel to be
nothingness or
just a minuscule
dot
Almost invisible
in these immensities
can't see myself..
cannot find me..
but hey! ! guess what? !
other minuscule dot I hope
is out there thousand and
thousand miles away
this dot, it seems to me,
does
think and wonders.
of my minuscule heart
my thought my doing
Woww! Awww..
Isn't that amasing? !
here I am!
no more lost

These dots:
are never meant to see
or touch..
each are soo far away..
too far
still
soo close.. sometimes
they stretch a rope
from one to other
become more close
..by closing eyes..
dreaming of
touch smell taste
such a new feel
new spinning dance
new colours
amasingly the world around
transforms
everything
becomes soo small
reduced to dots
and so
two, three, millions dots
tinny, little.. quietly
just for a second. right
now
transform..
in one..
they grow and grow
what do I see
one very very biig big heart..
these dots..might bring
some drops
of happiness or sadness
what are these dots?
maybe, no more than
little tiny words..

On An Old Sepuchral Bas-Relief

WHERE IS SEEN A YOUNG MAIDEN, DEAD, IN THE ACT OF DEPARTING,
TAKING LEAVE OF HER FAMILY.

Where goest thou? Who calls
Thee from my dear ones far away?
Most lovely maiden, say!
Alone, a wanderer, dost thou leave
Thy father's roof so soon?
Wilt thou unto its threshold e'er return?
Wilt thou make glad one day,
Those, who now round thee, weeping, mourn?

Fearless thine eye, and spirited thy act;
And yet thou, too, art sad.
If pleasant or unpleasant be the road,
If gay or gloomy be the new abode,
To which thou journeyest, indeed,
In that grave face, how difficult to read!
Ah, hard to me the problem still hath seemed;
Not hath the world, perhaps, yet understood,
If thou beloved, or hated by the gods,
If happy, or unhappy shouldst be deemed.

Death calls thee; in thy morn of life,
Its latest breath. Unto the nest
Thou leavest, thou wilt ne'er return; wilt ne'er
The faces of thy kindred more behold;
And under ground,
The place to which thou goest will be found;
And for all time will be thy sojourn there.
Happy, perhaps, thou art: but he must sigh
Who, thoughtful, contemplates thy destiny.

Ne'er to have seen the light, e'en at the time,
I think; but, born, e'en at the time,
When regal beauty all her charms displays,
Alike in form and face,
And at her feet the admiring world
Its distant homage pays;
When every hope is in its flower,
Long, long ere dreary winter flash
His baleful gleams against the joyous brow;
Like vapor gathered in the summer cloud,
That melting in the evening sky is seen
To disappear, as if one ne'er had been;
And to exchange the brilliant days to come,
For the dark silence of the tomb;
The intellect, indeed,
May call this, happiness; but still
It may the stoutest breasts with pity fill.

Thou mother, dreaded and deplored
From birth, by all the world that lives,
Nature, ungracious miracle,
That bringest forth and nourishest, to kill,
If death untimely be an evil thing,
Why on these innocent heads
Wilt thou that evil bring?
If good, why, why,
Beyond all other misery,
To him who goes, to him who must remain,
Hast thou such parting crowned with hopeless pain?

Wretched, where'er we look,
Whichever way we turn,
Thy suffering children are!
Thee it hath pleased, that youthful hope
Should ever be by life beguiled;
The current of our years with woes be filled,
And death against all ills the only shield:
And this inevitable seal,
And this immutable decree,
Hast thou assigned to human destiny,
Why, after such a painful race,
Should not the goal, at least,
Present to us a cheerful face?
Why that, which we in constant view,
Must, while we live, forever bear,
Sole comfort in our hour of need,
Thus dress in weeds of woe,
And gird with shadows so,
And make the friendly port to us appear
More frightful than the tempest drear?

If death, indeed, be a calamity,
Which thou intendest for us all,
Whom thou, against our knowledge and our will,
Hast forced to draw this mortal breath,
Then, surely, he who dies,
A lot more enviable hath
Then he who feels his loved one's death.
But, if the truth it be,
As I most firmly think,
That life is the calamity,
And death the boon, alas! who ever _could_,
What yet he _should_,
Desire the dying day of those so dear,
That he may linger here,
Of his best self deprived,
May see across his threshold borne,
The form beloved of her,
With whom so many years he lived,
And say to her farewell,
Without the hope of meeting here again;
And then alone on earth to dwell,
And, looking round, the hours and places all,
Of lost companionship recall?

Ah, Nature! how, how _couldst_ thou have the heart,
From the friend's arms the friend to tear,
The brother from the brother part,
The father from the child,
The lover from his love,
And, killing one, the other keep alive?
What dire necessity
Compels such misery
That lover should the loved one e'er survive?
But Nature in her cruel dealings still,
Pays little heed unto our good or ill.

Just Wanting To Be Understood

No one understands
No one comprehends the pain I feel
No one cares
What happens to me
No one cares
How I end up

Anger running so deep inside
I've been hurt on too many times
Pain strikes with every thought
Of how life used to be
Friends and loved ones lost
Relationships once had ignited
Everything in life killed
By one feeling
ANGER

Pain streaks through my veins
As I try to feel what I used to
As I try to imagine
The good old days
When everything was better
When someone actually cared

The pain never leaves
From way back when
Images stuck in my head
Thoughts never said
Life sinks into a hole
No one notices what happened
Disappeared and never returned

Best friends never again
More pain hits
Nothing ever the same
Anger so deep you want to kill
Given the chance you probably will
Hatred, pain, past memories relived

Wondering what is in store
How you hate the life you live
Want to hide
And never return
Die and never be seen
Live a different life than you lead

Get out and roam
You've tried before
Never quite got out that door
Always one more thing to do
Never time for just you
No one ever seems to care
Life was better somewhere else

Death seems so much better
But deep down inside
You know it's no the answer
Get out you scream
To your pain
Leave forever
And come not again
Hatred is the cause of this all

Nothing understood by those who care
They don't seem to know you're there
They hear but don't understand
They see but don't comprehend
Life so simple never repaired
Everything seems so useless there

Killing all around us
Between ourselves
Wanting to get out
Of this world we live
Death seems the answer
Yet never said
Tried so hard but never won

Anger towards ones your supposed to love
No more trust
To him you give
Hurt you one to many times
Permanent was the pain
Bruises from his anger you recieve
More anger you then get

Killing not the answer here
Wishing it was
So you could be free
One more freedom you would get
If he weren't around to hit

Anger can't be released anymore
Trouble is caused to much
Always more pain from it
What to do you do not know
Leaving for good would be so great
Getting out of something so bad
Worse than thousand about to die
