a dandelion dazzles
bright yellow petals
set among soft blades
green grass carpets
flowers waiting host bees
in pollen quest flights
petals fade to dreams

tiny flowers bunched seeds
together dream lift flights
to distant diverse fields
dandelion purpose blooms
dream flight tiny flowers
produce seed parachutes
compass aline on heavens
choose navigation stars
rich green grass maps
imagination showers

or grey black storms
watch seasons changes
feelings thoughts minds
souls dance time changes

yellow petals subtle changes
one day transformation clicks
into white honeycomb wishes
fades into spectral stems

Gust Cotton Seed Wind Snows
dandelion remain herald mystic envoys
empire expand into new territories
honour all seed dispersed ruderals
who restore beauty to poor wastes
where once was barren life emerges
ruderals rapidly colonize wastelands
dandelion colour paint disturbed soils
yellow orange canopy veils delights
poet in appreciation walk restored fields
dandelion bright yellow bewitches souls
set off hues contrast in rich green grass
delights hearts soft walking grass blades
delights hearts walking nature's hue skins
surfaces stretch into infinite possibilities
even after flowering is finished smiles
dandelion flower head multiple rebirths
for entombed day or two flower head dries
is this husk death as fall off petals stamens?
miracles move bracts reflex curve backwards
into full sphere tiny parachute ball opens
expand lift ready seed-bearing parachutes
feathered leaves now cotton seed wind snows

Duplicated Dandelion Diversity
what is a dandelion?
upon examination
a mini map mystery
wind reproductive diversity
multiple magnificent
miniaturized flowers
many tiny flight flower arrows
arranged symmetry reality
each tiny flower perceives
forms composite flower head
hundreds of yellow florets
upper layers raised to sky
butter cup yellow bright light
flower heart warms inflorescence
lower layers enlarge spread
curve down bow in symmetry
bright yellow bewitches souls
set off in contrast rich green grass
delights hearts walking grass blades
delights hearts walking green imagery
leaves form a rosette above central taproot
yellow to orange coloured flower heads spread
open in ray stream daytime close sleep night
flower heads mature spherical clocks spy
soon host birth transformations
real flowers wax dandelion blooms
each single flower head floret prepares
each seed stem attached white threads fluffy
cypselae on dandelion clock ticks
matured capitulum await breezes winds
to disperse in wind seed birth rights
hair-like calyx tissue waits above each ovary
each tiny flower has produced a seed
white spectral seed head manifests
design wonder delights child hands
dimensional layers link preflight mystery
seeds produce asexually by apomixes
where without pollination are produced seeds
offspring identical to the parent plants
resulting in offspring identical genetically
mystery mystery raptures in dandelions
strong breezes winds produce dandelion snows
run in fields as expand lift seed parachutes
seed-bearing parachutes create flower destiny

Bright Yellow Petal Flowers Imagination Showers
in life I never drank dandelion wine
for sour grapes bitter tastes I had no time
upon rich green grass map child like flowers
bright yellow petal flowers imagination showers
through blue skies or grey watch seasons changes
feelings thoughts minds souls through wonder ranges
yellow petals one day transform into white honeycomb
fade into spectral preparation seeds in readiness to roam
dandelion seeds are spun web silk threads of freedom life
carried away by gust breath of wind or child’s puff glow spice
tiny silk stem parachute flowers, freedom launch breath awaiting
to travel like tiny parachutes, on breeze wind wonder never abating
strong wind can carry tiny flower parachutes, miles away from parent
plant yet freedom seed flying stays, within wonder of any vision heart

A Rose With A Tinted Past
A wind from the north country.
Blows through the tapestry of my mind.
Like flowers in the wind.
I sway like a silver birch.
Winging high I soar though the sky.
A bird of tell tale feather below.
Ah, a rose with a tinted past.
A tear of dew on each new petal.
Shadow of sky I see.
A big yellow eye that warns me.
Spring has fallen by the way side.
Summer warms each small bed.
Sleep eluded the dreamers head.
Days hark of summer sandwich paste.
Eaten down in gulps of haste.
Gone are the winter winds.
Replaced by summers warm rays.
Ah, our rose with a tinted past.
Born out of a refuse tip.
Born with buds pointing skyward high.
To catch the sun through a cloudy sky.
Born with a majestic air.
The dark clouds of heaven see you there.
Rain dances on your petals blight.
Sky thunder roars.
Storm of shadows pass overhead.
Wind of tears, tears and shreds,
the petals from our roses head.
Sky of blue, no clouds of night.
Looks down at the sorry sight.
Head limp, beauty gone.
Sadness of glory light.
No longer see the sunlight.
Petals sweet, insect head.
Food for natures bed.
Earth dust shower still.
Life is short to fulfil
Day - night passes a solemn breath.
For our tinted roses death.

My Canadian Chronicles 19
Sitting in the sunshine
enjoying the silence of the day.
Relaxing, as all my worries
seem a million miles away.
I don’t want reality to ever kick in
as I sit enjoying the sunshine
on a peaceful summer’s day.
I am enjoying all nature’s natural sounds
like the birds chirping in the trees.
Enjoying summers stance
as the smell of new mowed grass
perfumes the summer day.
It is just like heaven
relaxing on a summer’s day.

Morning’s Glory
Dawn breaks the stranglehold
of a sleepy dusky night.
The sun peers above the eastern horizon
as morning begins to break into full glory.
Flowers open their petals wide
to allow the warmth inside;
birds leave their roosts
to wander the sky.
The morning’s glory soars
on delicate golden wings
as the early birds begin to sing.
Morning’s glory looks down on all
awakening with sleepy eyes,
preparing them to go
through a brand new day
that starts with the morning’s glory
and the sun shining bright.

Why
(with 3t)
(michael)
Why does monday, come before tuesday
Why do summers start in june
Why do winters come too soon
Why do people fall in love
When theyre always breaking up, oh why
Why do we love if love will die
Why does wednesday come after tuesday
Why do flowers come in may
Why springtime go away
Why do people fall in love
When theyre always breaking up, oh why
Why do I love you tell me why
(tj)
Its not like I can explain whats in my heart
Its just I feel a crazy pain when were apart

Evening In June
(Van Morrison)
By the light of the moon
When the night holds the secrets
Of the sleepy lagoon
I'm contemplating moonlight
On the water
When I'm walking with you
On an evening in June
On an evening in June
It can get so sentimental
When I'm thinking of you
And I can't think of anything
Except being with you
When the summer is through
On an evening in June
On an evening in June
Well it lifts me up
When I'm talking to you
On an evening in June
When the flowers are in bloom
And the sky is so blue
Well there's so many things
Taking place
That it's hard to keep up with it all
Keep your eye on the ball
And to make the right call
When we're longing for fall
On this evening in June
[Instrumental break]
On an evening in June
Well it lifts me up
When I'm talking to you
On an evening in June
When the flowers are in bloom
And the sky is so blue
Well there's so many things taking place
That it's hard to keep up with it all
Keep your eye on the ball
And to make the right call
When we're longing for fall
On this evening in June
By the sleepy lagoon
On an evening in June
By the light of the moon
By the sleepy lagoon
On an evening in June
On an evening in June
By the sleepy lagoon
By the light of the moon
By the sleepy lagoon
On an evening in June

June... June... June... June...
This is for June....and all the summers it brings
Wind chasing bells......of a Church steeple ring
Olde songs of wedlock....over top hat, and lace
'Fore June passes torch....to July's scarlet face
Tree's are full jacket's...........of multi-hue green
The last pink magnolia leaf......still can be seen
There's a breeze in the air, that carries a scent
Of her sweet honeysuckle....fresh efflorescence
Still, nights cast a chill, but June has its motive
An inviting warm flame....bright amorous votive
Moonlite romance...'neath a nautic June breeze
Make love in June sparkle like starshine on sea

June Bug
it was june
the flowers were out
the air felt sweet
children came out to play
the smell of cotton candy
the fresh taste of cold beer
the sun warm on his cheeks
suddenly she was there
like a plant now born
smilling and reaching for his hand
he melted inside
his head swirled
he was bitten by the june bug

Lost In Meaning....
a dandelion
against the wind
the wind spreads
each sleeping willow lightness
you watch it
and give it meaning
so light as a whisper
the soul sings
you follow one
landing on the blade of grass
you shed off
a mask
naked you fly as light
as a piece of dandelion blown by the wind
you are lost.

Another Way of Love
I
June was not over
Though past the full,
And the best of her roses
Had yet to blow,
When a man I know
(But shall not discover,
Since ears are dull,
And time discloses)
Turned him and said with a man's true air,
Half sighing a smile in a yawn, as 'twere,—
"If I tire of your June, will she greatly care?"
II
Well, dear, in-doors with you!
True! serene deadness
Tries a man's temper.
What's in the blossom
June wears on her bosom?
Can it clear scores with you?
Sweetness and redness.
Eadem semper!
Go, let me care for it greatly or slightly!
If June mend her bower now, your hand left unsightly
By plucking the roses,—my June will do rightly.
III
And after, for pastime,
If June be refulgent
With flowers in completeness,
All petals, no prickles,
Delicious as trickles
Of wine poured at mass-time,—
And choose One indulgent
To redness and sweetness:
Or if, with experience of man and of spider,
June use my June-lightning, the strong insect-ridder,
And stop the fresh film-work,—why, June will consider.

Summers Gone
Looking in a window on a rainy day.
Thinking about good things that I just threw away.
Looking in the gutter, watching the trash go flowing by.
Thinking its summer, but there are only clouds in the sky.
When I think about what we wasted, makes me sad,
We never appreciated what we had.
Now Im standing in a doorway with my overcoat on,
It really feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
It should have been a laugh, it should have been fun,
When I think of all the things that we did last summer.
Now I look back, it seems such a crime,
We couldnt appreciate it at the time.
Now Im standing in a doorway, thinking of summers gone by.
It ought to make me happy, but it just makes me want to cry.
I was riding in the car with my mum and dad,
He was drivin the car, the kids were drivin him mad.
Dad looked at us, then he looked at his wife,
He must have wondered where we all came from.
And then mum said, dad, you know it wont last for long,
Before you know it, summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
I really blew it all, when I think it through,
I really lost it all when I lost you.
Now Im standing in a doorway with water in my shoes,
It really feels like, feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
Summers gone, so alone.
Summers gone.

Poof
If you have never poofed a dandelion
Rubbed petals of roses
Sniffed peppermint leaves
Stepped in virgin snow
Nor heard the sigh of a dog
The hooting of an owl
The moaning of a cat
Cawing of a raven
Or nursed an ice cream cone
Swallowed jell-o
Eaten sushi and venison
Shouted just to hear the echo
Then you have never lived
Still young of heart
Bangeeing from a bridge
Sky diving, skiing
Or even mundane mountain climbing
Can be thrilling
Live it up
Poof a dandelion

Mr Dandelion's Seeds
No one
can catch
the dandelion seeds
from cartwheeling
across the sky
spreading
busy yellow flowers
for children
to thread their hair
and marvel
at spring.

26 of June
26 of June came again
The old month of June
Old but always young
In the calendar of glory
The gala caliber
counted high
'cause the freedom course
call, culminate
and came to the final call
cheerful calls
calls of the courage men
who retained hopes calls
to, heart
and healing the wounds
of the soul
26 of june came again
the old month of june
old but always charm
when we differentaite
the light
the light of the freedom
the lost and cost althou
it; very high
the dignity through the lost
we, reign
as a nation
we, regain
to the heart again
26 of june came again
