In comedy, you have to be unafraid to hang from the tree branch naked in the high wind and you have to be absolutely unafraid to look ridiculous and silly.

Walk Unafraid
As the sun comes up as the moon
Goes down
These heavy notions creep around
It makes me think
Long ago I was brought into
This life a little lamb
A little lamb
Courageous stumbling
Fearless was my middle name
But somewhere there i
Lost my way
Everyone walks the same
Expecting me to step
The narrow path theyve laid
They claim to
Walk unafraid
Ill be clumsy instead
Hold my love me or leave me
High
Say keep within the boundaries if you want
To play
Say contradiction only makes it harder
How can I be
What I want to be
When all I want to do is strip away
These stilled constraints
And crush this charade
Shred this sad masquerade
I dont need no persuading
Ill trip fall pick myself up and
Walk unafraid
Ill be clumsy instead
Hold my love me or leave me
High
If I have a bag of rocks to carry as I go
I just want to hold my head up high
I dont care what I have to step over
Im prepared to look you in the eye
Look me in the eye
And if you see familiarity
Then celebrate the contradiction
Help me when I fall to
Walk unafraid
Ill be clumsy instead
Hold my love me or leave me
High
Walk unafraid
Ill be clumsy instead
Hold my love me or leave me
High

One Who Dwells In The Shadow
One who dwells in the shadows
Tall and unafraid
Unafraid except of himself
When he speaks
His love is revealed
And he only speaks
When he is in love...

Everlasting
By will jennings and michael mcdonald
This love is the only thing
Pinning our future to the past
What we have will always be
The part of this living that lasts
Baby, here I stand unafraid
To foresake this world for your tenderness
Im reachin out, I cant give up
Sometimes it seems to me
That this world is only where we start
For all its wonder I still believe
The answer lies deep within our hearts
Baby, here I stand unafraid
To give myself, to be set free
In love we find, there is no end
Weve always been
Well always be everlasting
Everlasting
We are everlasting
Everlasting
We are everlasting
Baby, here I stand unafraid
To foresake this world for your tenderness
Im reachin out, I cant give up
cause nothing matters
Without your lovingness

The River, and I
I stand naked, untouched
Alone, unafraid and still
The sun shies away
And the wind brushes past me
While I stand
Naked and untouched
I kneel down,
And feel the river
Flowing relentlessly, unstopped
Angry, loud, cold and pure
The river shows no mercy
As it beats against the rocks
It knows no love, no guilt
It only knows survival
As it finds its way
And so it flows
Relentless and unstopped
Yet, I fight the river
I yearn for its love
Like a fool,
I keep standing, waiting
The river keeps moving
Paying me no heed
Yet I keep standing
Naked and untouched.

Initiated to Protect Their Diminshing Freedoms
Too few too long,
Have not been listened to.
Those few so strong and brave,
Have sacrificed their lives..
And unafraid to raise their voices,
High.
Are not on these scenes,
To be demeaned anymore.
Too many convinced,
Their way of life defended...
To them had made sense.
With an allowing to leave them,
To be indifferent.
And all today who now can see,
Have come to realize...
Their priorities lived have been deceived.
Too few too long,
Have not been listened to.
Those few so strong and brave,
Have sacrificed their lives..
And unafraid to raise their voices,
High.
Are not on these scenes,
To be demeaned anymore.
And now today no one can escape,
What has been valued...
Has been reappraised.
With a wish for comprehension,
And a spreading of empathy will come their way...
As more and more on warring shores,
Find themselves caught up...
To free their minds,
From a raging craze that with them stays.
Initiated to protect their diminshing freedoms.

If It Had Not Been For Chemistry
I have never been here before.
To explore such views,
With anyone quite like you...
Full adventure and unafraid to explore.
Never before have I felt the student,
To allow myself to be taught...
By someone who brings,
A different insight to things.
If you had gone on another path,
I would have sat unchallenged.
And taken too much time,
To eventually let doubt have its way.
I can say today,
I am happy you found me sitting.
And owe meeting you to patience,
Somehow you knew for you it stayed.
I have never been here before.
To explore such views,
With anyone quite like you...
Full adventure and unafraid to explore.
'If it had not been for chemistry,
You and I would have only been here to see...
Just another someone else to forget and ignore,
As we continued on our separate journeys.'

Our Tree
When spring comes round, our apple tree
Is very full of flowers,
And when a bird sits on a branch
The petals fall in showers.
When summer comes, our apple tree
Is very full of green,
And everywhere you look in it
There is a leafy screen.
When autumn comes, our apple tree
Is full of things to eat.
The apples hang from every branch
To tumble at our feet.
When winter comes, our apple tree
Is full of snow and ice
And rabbits come to visit it...
We think our tree is nice.

The Tree And The Branch
the tree looks
upon a branch
where a ripe
fruit is hanging
the tree says
it is mine
the branch say
i am holding it
the tree says
the branch too
belongs to it
angry about the
tree's greed
the branch lets go off
the ripe fruit
a hungry child
picks it up
and goes home
with a happy heart

Even Today The Incompetent Deny It
What will you say to those,
Who were unafraid.
The ones of faith and spoke the truth.
The ones you have betrayed.
What realities will form your words,
To be accepted and believed.
What will one who spoke of hatred,
Say to those who suffered from misdeeds.
Even today the incompetent deny it.
They gather to seek new committees...
To explain their failures.
Even today deceit is used.
To attempt more confusion.
And to abuse those accused...
Of seeing things too clearly!
What will you say to those,
Who were unafraid.
The ones of faith and spoke the truth.
The ones you have betrayed.
What will you say,
When that day arrives...
To find you,
The one despised.
What will you then say?
It is okay?
Like you have done...
To have things your way.

The balloon in the tree
There high up in the tree
was a bright Red balloon
how did it get there I mused?
Was it put there by a little boy
or did the wind pluck it from his hand?
it was stuck firm on a branch now.
When I came by the tree the next day
I looked up and it was still there
and it wasn't the only balloon
there was a blue one and a yellow one?
The following day the tree was covered in them
all different colours and sizes and shapes
the wind and rain couldn't pop them dead.
Every day more balloons were there in the tree
all different colours, shapes, and sizes,
the wind and rain wouldn't hit them at all.
I was the only person who knew of the tree
it became invisible to anybody else
the balloon tree was there just for me.
When a balloon died another took it's place
so the tree was always covered in balloons
throughout the years it stood proud and strong.
You may say I'm making this up or I'm mad
and there's no such thing as a balloon tree
but I know it's true so that's all that matters.
This is for Chloe, Holly, Katie, and Oliver.

Y.. Tree of Life
The tree of life
It has a branch
A money making branch
The bigger the money making branch
The more comfortable our life
But if the money making branch
Is the only branch
On our tree of life
It is such an ugly and unstable tree.
A prayer and devotion branch
Will stabilize the tree of life
Let it be a real big branch
On your tree of life
But if only two branches on a tree
Imagine how ugly it would still be!
So let there be branches
Of Affability and Charity
Of Cheerfulness and Friendliness
Of Gentleness and Honesty
Of Humility and Compassion
Of Spirituality and Wisdom
Of Courage and Hard work
With these branches present,
It will carry soon the lush greenery
Of love and job satisfaction
And soon enough, the tree of life
Will bear the fruits
Of peace of mind and happiness.
A wonderful tree of life I wish you
with many fine branches
and lots of greenery and fruits.

Here & Now
Here and now
Is the way I live
Unafraid of
What life gives
And there have been times in my life
I couldnt see a difference
In pain or in joy
Or in sun or in rain
They just seem the same
But Im only human
Branded by my ambitions
But Im going to make it
Here and now
Is the way I live
With an open heart and mind
So many intentions
In this life I could have followed
But one of those
Paths must lead to your heart
Here and now
Is the way I live
Unafraid of
What life gives
Respect things I dont understand
So many intentions
In this life I could have followed
But one of those
Paths must lead to your heart
Here and now
(here and now)
Here and now

Regardless If Being Assessed
I have never been curious of those,
Who have a lot to say about others.
But keep themselves hidden behind masks,
As if afraid to show their own faces.
Or have I been interested at all in those,
Who introduce what they do...
As if to do this puts them high on a judgement list.
I can tell in a minute who is ambitious.
And who lives to experience life without it being a task.
But those who live just to be pretentious,
Aren't as interesting as the ones...
Who seem to be unafraid to walk upon an unchartered path.
To be who they are and say whatever they like.
Regardless if being assessed by others addressing it.
'Did you hear what was said about you? '
~Of course I did.
They are not the only ones here assessing too.
Feeding imaginations I find exciting to do.
I've grown accustomed to being stripped naked,
Without being asked!
Or being in the presence of those disrespecting!

I'm In A Trouble
Ive got something to tell you
About my heart,
That you hold.....ahum
If youre down well theres someone there...ah ah
Dont you know.....ahum
Well you know theres a place
Way down deep
Where I hide
Im in trouble.....ahum
Its a garden I keep
You dont know
You cant find
Im in trouble.....ahum
I hold you close
You turn away
You know what I want to say
After this love
After the rain
After our rivers run
Youll fill my eyes
With silver rays
And with a golden sun
Im still here
Unafraid
If you dont come
Oh, Im in trouble.
What do you think about me?
What do you think about me?
Well you know part of me is
Deep in you
You dont want
All my trouble.....ahum
Wont walk out
I want to stay
Id light up your heart
If I found the way
After this love
After the rain
After our rivers meet
Youll fill my eyes
With silver curves
And golden memories
Im still here
Unafraid
Wont you please come
After this love
After this crying
After the stars all fall
Youll fill my eyes
With tears of joy
Well laugh about it all
Im still here
Unafraid
If you dont come
Oh no no, Im in trouble.....ahum

Winter Wonderland
Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin',
In the lane, snow is glistenin'
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walkin' in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
While you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walkin' in a winter wonderland.
--- Instrumental ---
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
While you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walkin' in a winter wonderland.
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walkin' in a winter wonderland...

As I Age
For six weeks,
I was in isolation.
To have every single secretion,
Coming out of my body analyzed.
Then scrutinized with x-rays and blood taken.
And for five months I laid up in a hospital,
Back in two thousand and four.
Being ignored,
While the nurses and doctors used me...
To explore.
And to have someone come up to my face and say,
Today...
I don't know what it is like to be criticized,
As if I stood naked! ?
They absolutely do not realize,
I thank God even my right eyebrow doesn't raise...
Not like it use to especially,
When I hear such ridiculous comments.
Not that I have anything against being naked.
It's just that I get fewer requests to do it as I age.

Sleeping with the night's seas cry
Take me on your flight bird of prey,
float me above the doom of the last poet
reading the last poem. Like the entire sky
beats off into a fire of night stars with your wings
and touches itself along a cool and swollen highway.
Where we are driving into its dark womb.
My ears what you soul fights to explain. My eyes
the tides of the moon to their fullest,
and your heart having that opportunity
to mercilessly crack and break.
As i include it into my dreams, where i am going
into the dark side. As i have just seen the bottom,
and i consecrate the copulation of the sky
with my soul slightly open, unafraid if a dead person laughs.
Unafraid as my salt wind goes ashore,
and dawns sun rises up holding herself with her hands.
Wearing out after one glimpse this child of mine.
This man that is begging the gods, to spend
the whole day hopelessly gazing. Tears shed
in large drops, and that divines retirement.
That that descends from heaven, and doesn't follow my heart.

If It Opens
I owe the wonderful memories I keep,
To those who were unafraid to adventure.
The people who kept the reaching of destinies,
On their minds.
And finding the saying of 'why Not? ' unconfining.
So grateful I am to have dismissed limits,
To explore the value of a life given to me to live.
With a willingness to comprehend,
My commitment to the mix and my involvement.
Although I've grown to admit of having little patience,
When listening to those describing their fears.
With excuses to make to have them validated.
I owe the wonderful memories I keep,
To those who were unafraid to adventure.
And as I age to recognize doubters who profess faith...
I am happy not to be that one,
Procrastinating with a hesitation done.
I know what it is to pursue dreams that come true.
I also know what it's like,
To have more of them too!
And I also know too well,
Not to wait for someone else to open a door.
If it opens,
I will not be asked to walk through.
If a door can be opened,
Walking through it is what I will do.
I am a like like time!
With nothing on my mind but moving forward.

Winter Wonderland
(Felix Bernard/Dick Smith)
Over the ground, lies a mantel of white
A heaven of diamonds shine down through the night
Two hearts that are thrilling
In spite of the chilly.... weather
Mmmmhmmm...
Sleigh bells ring, are ya listening?
In the lane snow is glistening
It's a beautiful site
We're happy tonight
Walkin' in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is the new bird
He sings a love song
As we go along
Walkin' in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman

Later on we'll conspire

Walkin' in a winter wonderland... Yeah...
