If It Opens
I owe the wonderful memories I keep,
To those who were unafraid to adventure.
The people who kept the reaching of destinies,
On their minds.
And finding the saying of 'why Not? ' unconfining.
So grateful I am to have dismissed limits,
To explore the value of a life given to me to live.
With a willingness to comprehend,
My commitment to the mix and my involvement.
Although I've grown to admit of having little patience,
When listening to those describing their fears.
With excuses to make to have them validated.
I owe the wonderful memories I keep,
To those who were unafraid to adventure.
And as I age to recognize doubters who profess faith...
I am happy not to be that one,
Procrastinating with a hesitation done.
I know what it is to pursue dreams that come true.
I also know what it's like,
To have more of them too!
And I also know too well,
Not to wait for someone else to open a door.
If it opens,
I will not be asked to walk through.
If a door can be opened,
Walking through it is what I will do.
I am a like like time!
With nothing on my mind but moving forward.

If It Had Not Been For Chemistry
I have never been here before.
To explore such views,
With anyone quite like you...
Full adventure and unafraid to explore.
Never before have I felt the student,
To allow myself to be taught...
By someone who brings,
A different insight to things.
If you had gone on another path,
I would have sat unchallenged.
And taken too much time,
To eventually let doubt have its way.
I can say today,
I am happy you found me sitting.
And owe meeting you to patience,
Somehow you knew for you it stayed.
I have never been here before.
To explore such views,
With anyone quite like you...
Full adventure and unafraid to explore.
'If it had not been for chemistry,
You and I would have only been here to see...
Just another someone else to forget and ignore,
As we continued on our separate journeys.'

No Life Is Right Until Lived
When the thrill of living my life has quieted to end,
I will not be discovered procrastinating with any fears.
Or recovering from regrets,
Of not facing challenges to overcome when first met.
Nor is my life in any position for anyone to place bets.
Although I may choose to take those risks 'I' accept.
I am a work-in-progress taking forward not backward steps.
I live a life lived unafraid to make mistakes.
And those monitoring perfection based upon etiquette,
Are powerless to suggest what my identity should be to please.
Since this life I live is 'my' experience without boundaries.
And I will dream to adventure and explore to make known.
No life is right until lived as one decides it.
With...
Or without,
Judgements heard that are passed.
With...
Or without,
Judgements heard that are passed...
No life is right until lived as one decides it.
No life is right until lived as one decides it.
And...
As one decides what life is right for them to live,
Who can demonstrate what perfection is?

What Do You Do I Ask
(5/4/12)
What do you do when you feel all hope is gone
And hanging by a thread you linger on.
What do you do when you take three steps forward
And eight steps back, and in life you're always under attack.
What do you do when you have door after door
Slam in your face, and to hide - there is no place.
What do you do when your loved ones have lost faith in you
And you don't know what to do.
What do you do when you pray every day
And the answers don't come your way.
Is this really the time to give up hope
When all your life you learned to cope.
Your dreams don't come when you want
And may never come at all
And to the ground they may fall.
Your dreams may not be what GOD has intended
But in your life, your dreams may be ended.
There may be another path that he wants you to travel
And his answers will all unravel.
Your life is not lived just for yourself
You must touch everyone else.
We are surrounded by millions of people
And each life touching another
And giving hope to so many others.
We can not see what he has in store
But we live with faith as we open the new door.
The door may be something that we don't expect
And it will make our lives better yet.
So open the door and let that radiating light shine through
For this is the light and path that belongs to you.

If Not For Eternity
Everyday,
All of us are given opportunities...
To explore and adventure,
Another aspect of life...
To experience something new.
And everyday excuses are made,
To have no time to find...
What it is we could and should do.
Complaining and delivering faults,
Have found many to accept this as their expertise...
With a choice to expose this as a gift.
And without solicitation...
This craft upon others is released.
Everyday,
All of us are given opportunities...
To explore and adventure,
Another aspect of life...
To experience something new.
And yet there are those who say they can not afford,
To waste their patience...
On something they rather ignore.
And ignore they do...
Themselves.
Commitments made to relationships.
Friendships taken for granted...
As futures of their children,
Delayed for a taste of procrastination.
But participating in something done...
That guarantees hours spent in frivolous fun,
Is given without a moment's hesitation.
Since this has been marketed as a life to live!
And aging with a maturity to reflect,
Is no longer regarded as a process to respect.
Nor is it prioritized as a positive.
And under a plastic surgeon's busy knife,
Everyone has a desire to pay...
Whatever it takes,
To appear and 'look' youthful...
Jusr for a day or a week.
If not for eternity!

Door (popular poetry)
I am very unfortunate old and poor
But rich and young
Will come to play
Any time
to your ground
Just keep open wide your wonderful door
I am a man with some delightful light
From the magical moon
At night
will come as a dream
just keep your wonderful door open and wide
I am a river with strong current and high tide
Will come
To your beach
any time
just keep your wonderful door open and wide

In The Midst Of The Doing
What I have managed to accomplish,
With a focus on attempts to pursue...
Has not been without sacrifice or effort,
And a fixed determination to prove...
My life live and the experience of living,
Means more than approval to me someone gives.
I am here to live life.
And adventure possibilities to either create,
Or accept as is.
And those who sit seeking acceptance,
Are usually the ones wasting time to complain.
While conducting campaigns to gain sympathy.
With a hope empathy is there to share in abundance.
People like this are often limited.
And grieving with excuses to make them sound legitimate.
I am not immuned from making mistakes.
And as long as I live there will be more I will make.
But...
It will be in the midst of the doing done.
And not in the faking...
To allow to be dismissed,
The seriousness of my wishes.

My Own Voice
I had heard them in the distance,
Defining for themselves...
Beliefs to accept.
And within my heart,
I had to keep moving forward.
Because in my mind,
I had found my own voice.
And it took a long time,
To comprehend.
With a giving to it my total attention.
And accepting my fate was to stay,
Walking in faith.
To observe it being validated.

Too Fearful To Fully Grasp
It is much easier for me,
To be very patience with a child...
Asking questions about life.
Than it is for me to answer,
Those same questions asked...
By one who appears to be an adult.
But has a mind of a child.
And the simple aspects of life,
They have yet to experience.
Or too fearful to fully grasp,
With a faith they claim to have...
To explore and adventure.
A living of life to fake it...
Is difficult to explain,
To anyone seeking how best to live it...
On their terms AND with expectations.

Goodbye, Farewell
Farewell is beautiful
A glimpse into the future
Farewell is wonderful
It sets for Adventure
Goodbye is sad
A dive into the past
Goodbye is hard
It memories cast
For old faces must go
Yet new places to go
A chapter opened
And a chapter closed
O Farewell O farewell
How nice if I could tomorrow tell
O Goodbye O goodbye
In thou sweet memories lie
For us you take backward
And make to the past hold
Farewell a' forward
To face the future bold
And today
Yes verily day
With feelings set at bay
These very words I say
Farewell and goodbye
Goodbye and farewell
I say with pleasure and pain
Yes with tears
With grief and joy
Tears of grief and joy

Memories
Memories of good times
Memories of bad times
Memories of our love
So many memories
Memories of us crying
Memories of us laughing
Memories of our commitment
So many memories
Memories of us hugging
Memories of us kissing
Memories of those late nights
So many memories
Memories of how we met
Memories of how you left
Memories of what you said
So many memories
Why did you leave me
with so many memories
Did you ever realize
that my memories are yours
Everything we did together
stays within our memories
I remember getting hurt
Do you hurt too
Let's make a new memory
that we can both share
Let's love again
in our memories

Wonderful World
Refrain:
Its a wonderful world where we belong to
There are so many things we can learn
Its a wonderful world and we will promise
We will take our chance
Its a wonderful world where we belong to
We have a heart full of dreams
Its a wonderful world and we will promise
We will take our chance
Its a wonderful
Its a wonderful
Its a wonderful world
1.
Walk along the road, the view gets no clearer
Dont waste your time dont let nobody hear ya
Here is your harmony, here is your friend
A positive spirit thats holding your hand
Stop, step back dont let somebody play the game
Scream it out then you can take the pain
Open up your mind, free your soul
Its a wonderful world and were taking control
2.
Its a constant fight that will always last
Its a war between the present, the future and the past
Confusion goes on, do we know right from wrong
Live each day like the last ,then youre strong
The clock of your life is ticking slower and slower
If we give up our dreams we go lower and lower
Open up your mind ,free your soul
Its a wonderful world and we are taking control

I Want to Know
There is too much I can not ignore.
Too much beyond my open door,
I explore to have those unknowns shown.
I can not sit...
Just to imagine what exists.
Or to hear from others...
From their point of view.
As they experience what it is,
I too wish to do!
There is too much I can not ignore.
Too much beyond my open door,
I explore to have those unknowns shown.
And my mind will not leave me alone...
Until my curiosity satisfies that quest in me.
There is too much I can not ignore.
Too much beyond my open door,
I explore to have those unknowns shown.
I want to know...
More of this life God has gifted.
I want to know...
And not inflict upon myself limits!

Time Doesn`t Heal
What rubbish that people say..
False hopes at the end of the day..
Tradegy strikes and it doesnt stop there..
No it holds on, lingers and breaths on your very air..
It changes everything, who you are, how you think, your essence, it is you..
With all the ifs, buts, n maybes, why mes and what to do..
Every wish, every dream, is nothing, moving on is harder than it seems.....
In body, in mind, in motion, watching others in envy, as you live your shattered dreams..
Its blatant and true over the years, that my babies have stayed just so..
My arms still ache to hold them, breathe in their scent n protect them, you know..
If you see me in a world, all of my own, dreaming of the what might have beens..
Dont feel sorry for me, i want the images of these wonderful scenes..
I no longer have the innocense of it wont happen to me..
3 times fate has taken from me..
So time hasnt healed and my other children here in their own right..
I still mourn, I still cry into my pillow at night..
My boys, my babies, my memories, my no where land..
They live in me, my heart, my soul, my mind, my hand..
Time hasnt healed my gapping wound, its open and hurts just as much as the first day they were gone..
Time is a healer for those around me, whos memories of them have long gone..

If One Understood and Had Patience
A mind that remains stifled,
Will always be in conflict...
With one of growth.
And an attempt to convince the other,
Communication could be established...
If one understood and had patience.
As if hesitation and patience...
Were related to a life of experience.
And a consciousness unafraid to dare.

God Open Door
People go out from my life.
A person lives a door open in my heart.
But God is there to fall it out in my heart.
People open a door to enter in my life.
But they not know as well as god knows me.
Some people don't want to open door for me.
But god is will to come in.
Person closes the door and I feel sad.
But god is there to make me happy.
But god opens all of them.

Meant To Live
Does it seem as obvious as it is,
That the ones unafraid to take risks...
Have faced challenges and experiences,
To mature from them and benefit.
And not succumb to doubts and fears presented.
While those living lives undecided,
Have become accustomed to hiding...
Behind a host of excuses and alibis to deny,
Life is given and meant to live.
And not to become seduced by re-adjusted limits.

Idea Poemized
soft click click as the rain
goes pitter patter on my roof this does not make my life wain
this causes me no pain
its not being in an empty house all alone that causes hurt
its not having your face pressed deep in the mud or dirt
thats not what hurts. not even when i cry
cry....unafraid of what 'they' think i just cry not like cry
like im gonna die
just a little tear
right here
not afraid to cry
i will let my feelings out! unafraid, , , ,
i can pretend I'm ok when im not and it eats away
at me killling me all day
yet that still is not too much for me
what burns me to a crispy stench is having to watch you walk
not even giving me time to talk
just walking away leaving me all alone another day
thats what hurts me and tortures my soul
losing you everywhere i go no one to extoll me
to tell me you can do it! i see my old friends and memories
they remind me of you and watching you walk holding the keys
to my life to my happiness i do regret some choices ive made
but i must keep going
always knowing
if i just had that one chance
to do it all again to have one more dance
one more night i would give everything up! just for that
just for another chance to say something different in that fateful chat....
Maybe you dont understand most dont... but maybe you see
that i'm giving you these words nay my heart! im giving you me

Here & Now
Here and now
Is the way I live
Unafraid of
What life gives
And there have been times in my life
I couldnt see a difference
In pain or in joy
Or in sun or in rain
They just seem the same
But Im only human
Branded by my ambitions
But Im going to make it
Here and now
Is the way I live
With an open heart and mind
So many intentions
In this life I could have followed
But one of those
Paths must lead to your heart
Here and now
Is the way I live
Unafraid of
What life gives
Respect things I dont understand
So many intentions
In this life I could have followed
But one of those
Paths must lead to your heart
Here and now
(here and now)
Here and now

Making Those Choices To Do
Choices made are just the beginning,
For other choices to make.
Leaving an appetite to develop,
In a patience where choices sit to marinate
Procrastinating in hesitation,
Makes for the creating of excuses...
Easier to get nothing done to wait.
Like one who wishes for a taste of cake.
However, making those choices to do...
Does remove those excuses made done,
With no follow through.
And pursued as one's destination that comes.

It's Easy To Walk In Someone Else's Shoes
It's easy to walk in someone else's shoes.
And to feel what it takes to place their footsteps...
With mistakes made.
To never look back with a moving forward unafraid.
Just ask anyone who has done that!
There are so many...
Standing on the sidelines with a giving of their opinion.
Ask anyone one of them to confront their own fears,
As others near watch...
Dissecting everything that someone else exposes,
While listening to those who oppose and show it.
It's easy to walk in someone else's shoes.
And yet...
As easy as it is,
Those heard passing their judgements...
Are not so quick to prove those shoes on them will fit.
