Ivory Towers
In ivory towers they sit
Oblivious to the world outside
The decisions makers huddle
Anyone who questions them
Receives double talk and gibberish in return
Always ending that, we are right you know
Continuous Governments
Feed the masses with pork pies
Those silly stump holes
Don’t seem to realise
The majority of the masses
See through their thin disguise
If they were to see
What the masses see
Maybe their decisions might change
Making it easier to live
And give a better life
To the likes of you and I

Your Hero
The heroes of the masses they live for their renown
And the masses create their heroes and then drag their heroes down
And the masses are unpredictable they change from day to day
And some of their heroes like the Autumn flowers are quick to fade away.
Yet there are millions of unsung heroes and they live on every street
And every day a hero I feel privileged to meet
True heroes male and female yet by the masses unsung
The World is full of heroes of heroes old and young.
Some heroes of the masses are arrogant and proud
And their egos over-swollen from the adulation of the crowd
But give me the unsung heroes who go their own quiet way
Who out of the kindness of their hearts perform one good deed every day.
Many heroes of the masses are not heroes to me
Though every day I walk the street some true hero I do see
Your hero is chauffeur driven and drinks the most expensive wine
And you can have your hero but your hero isn't mine.

There Are More Stars Than Poems
There are more stars than poems-
More vast silent worlds
Than small verbal ones-
Masses and masses of mass and fire
Masses and masses of darkness and death-
And against this millions and billions of words and more little words -
More stars than poems
And far too many of both
For human comprehension

It is proof of a base and low mind for one to wish to think with the masses or majority, merely because the majority is the majority. Truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority of the people.

The Rain Maker
Dull clouds shade the bright stars in the sky
Bring rain to fuel my desire.
Bring rain to feed the masses.
Bring rain to make the world green and lively
Then shoo the clouds away to begin a new day.
Created by the man above
To give life the world below
Supplied by Mother Nature
And Father Earth to provide life
So that man can exist, live, and work for a better future.
Man sows the land and seeds the dirt.
Flowers sprout, bountiful vegetables.
Powerful smells of the future so bright.
Love and nourishment for the masses
Become the Rain Maker.
It is His gift to man.
Rain shrouds the gray sky.
He makes the rain so we can live
To serve Him on the mortal lands.
He is the Rain Maker.

The Racial Gun!
the racial gun
has always been pointed
at the masses....
by those who control us
for their own benefit.
'keep them afraid of each other,
make them hate each other,
tell them they're different! ....
anything to keep them
from realizing they're all human,
and joining together! '
anything to keep us from rising up,
and throwing off the chains
of oppression!
folks, there's only two kinds of people....
the masses, struggling, working, needing,
living, loving... just trying to get by....
all different colors, male and female....
and the ones who keep their finger on us,
well hidden, well insulated....
who take from us to feed their greed!

But the question is to find and rear leaders that are really one with the masses. This can only be accomplished by the masses, the political parties and the Trade Unions, by means of the most severe struggle, also inwardly.

My Prerogative
Get Busy/
Everybody's talking all this stuff about me/
Why don't they just let me live/
I dont need permission, make my own decisions/

Decisions Are Best Made With Logic
decisions
are best made
with logic
practically
efficiently
thus usually
learning
from
mistakes
decisions are made
for the common
good of all citizens
who could not
imagine a system
not doing this?
now
reality
check!
welcome to

earth world
welcome to
the land
where lives
chronic
corruption
jealousy
stupidity
private interest
rules here!
climate change
global disasters
threaten planet
earth summits
first world nations
manipulative
their currencies
promote protectionism
private agendas
ignore deforestation
chronic extinction
all ice caps melting
abandon most citizens
prepare select few
to survive meltdown
unbelievable
surreal
no attempt is
made to
save
masses
post-apocalyptic disaster
history 101: global genocide!
death of nations sacrificed
Titanic life boats
women children left to die!
world leaders elect
primary elite policy
to save only themselves!
plus rebuild teams
decisions already made
it has already been decided!

Diesel For The Masses
i rose to the top
with my last gasp
i sank to the bottom
the smell was rotten
diesel for the masses
education drifted by
inflation hit the sky
as we floated ever high
diesel for the masses

In part by their apathy, in part by their passivity, and in part actively, these masses of people make possible the catastrophes under which they themselves suffer more than anybody else. To stress this guilt on the part of masses of people, to hold them solely responsible, means to take them seriously. On the other hand, to commiserate masses of people as victims, means to treat them as small, helpless children. The former is the attitude held by genuine freedom-fighters; the latter the attitude held by the power-thirsty politicians.

A Welcome Burden
Shout!
Heavy! you want it heavy!
Welcome to my world, either way you pick youre winding down
Heavy! I want it heavy!
Welcome to my world, either way you pick youre winding down again
Gather your pathetic masses and bring them to me
To a world devoid of lie
To another time, to another place
And then they pick a man, (? ) tastes my misery
Rip away her disguise and brothel the lies that ya find
The truth is sickening!
We dont need to change it, really
I kind of like it ugly!
Lay it mean! it binding! seathing! blinding! screaming!
Gather your psychotic masses and bring them to me
To a world devoid of sanity
Another time, & another place
And then the violence creates calamity
Rip away her disguise and brothel the lies that ya find
The truth is sickening!
We dont need to change it, really
I kind of like it ugly!
The race of the mother culture is thickening!
The rape of the mother culture is nearing!
The face of the mother culture is sickening!

Mass Communications
after learning
the english language
and having mastered
it so well
now you are on your
own
as a reporter
you have to learn
the language of the
masses again
you an alien
of the masses
must take back
that lost
appeal
i want to make this sound
like a poem
for you
but i know it won't
are you gonna
be poetic when doing
a reporting job?
about the mass killing
in ampatuan?
gee, i guess not
sorry.

Creativity
I sit alone
Waiting
Pondering
Will inspiration
Be at my beck and call
Will I be able?
To let go of this energy
This light that cries out
To be free from this cage
I smile at myself
I smile at this place
I smile at the wonder
That's inside us all
Creativity
An inspiration on life
Flock to the masses
The masses of light
We are the penmanship
That the creator
As given to thee
To write our epochs
On the canvas of life

An Inferiority Complex Involving Pork Pies
Why do you tell such awful pork pies?
All of us here can see through your lies,
If you once to the truth it would be a surprise,
But the Truth very often is a liar's disguise!
Perhaps you think you'll win our esteem,
We'll believe, after all, you're not what you seem,
We'll call you a hero, fulfilling your dream:
Wouldn't it be great if we fell for your scheme!
You'd better make peace with the person you are,
Try not to swagger when you walk to the bar,
Try not to boast about your second-hand car,
It's old and it's rusty and won't take you far!
It's a tragedy, really, that you feel so small,
You're short and you're puny and wish you were tall,
You'd like folk to come running whenever you call,
But when you cry out they don't notice at all!
Your trouble, my friend is the chip on your shoulder
Which seems to grow deeper as you get older,
You'd chat up the ladies if you felt bolder
But the smiles on their faces would turn a lot colder.
And it's all because of those silly pork pies,
The desire to be 'Someone' in everyone's eyes,
You've created an image that most people despise -
For God's sake stop telling such awful pork pies!

Close To The Wire
A hopeful adventure
Got missionary ways
Could start in the jungle
Feel this way
Search for an answer
Over land and over sea
All the mountains
Of promised opportunities
I cried out but you were lost
In a corporate position
So moneys the solution
Curing all that ails the nation
But what about the hearts of man
The spiritual needs
Im staring at the starlight
And I just cant quite believe
That im
Chorus:
Lost in the fire
So close to the wire
Got to survive
So close to the wire
The soul needs attention
Like the body needs to breath
But banks want investment
So who are we
Cultures are dying
But gold reserves are safe
Cant live in this jungle
But cant escape
Whatever happened
To the dreams we shared together
A taste of wine
A moonlight song that lasts forever
Chorus
Feel the expectation
Written in the ways
Each move of a man give away
You look good to me
Sat in your ministry position
An image for the masses
Making serious decisions
Talk about, sham about
For all the world to see
Your rhetorics a quiz game
And a mystery to me
Chorus
So close to the wire

Two Methods
To bucks and ewes by the Good Shepherd fed
The Priest delivers masses for the dead,
And even from estrays outside the fold
Death for the masses he would not withhold.
The Parson, loth alike to free or kill,
Forsakes the souls already on the grill,
And, God's prerogative of mercy shamming,
Spares living sinners for a harder damning.
