When Time Stood Still
Far beyond the things you see
Time rolls on eternally
Got a thing about it
Just cant live without it
Sitting there inside your mind
Just waiting for the clock to chime
On a lonely line
Stood a lonely man
No pictures on an empty wall
No body there no one at all
Just echoes in the ivory halls
When time stood still
Days line up outside the door
Thought time had stopped there was no more
Been a lonely world
Such a lonely world
No pictures on an empty wall
No toulouse, vincent, or pablo
Just echoes in the ivory halls
When time stood still
No big machine or april showers
No submarines no plastic flowers
Just echoes in the ivory towers
When time stood still
When time stood still
When time stood still
When time stood still

The time helps
A frame that stood the test of time
Stands as a monument.
A thing that stood the test of time
Stands as an antique.
A writing that stood the test of time
Stands as a classic
A name that stood the test of time
Stands as a great.
There might be numerous
More valuable than them,
As casualties of accidents.

Idea
I been thinking sitting on a pole.
I'm getting sick of doing what I'm told.
Just me and the mirror and my brain.
But that was when I got an idea.
Came like a gun and shot in my ear.
Don't you think it's time you got up and stood alone?
Fifteen years I lay down on the ground.
I couldn't feel any noise or hear any sound.
Fifteen million years I spent down the line.
But that was when I got an idea.
Came like a gun and shot in my ear.
Don't you think it's time you got up and stood alone?
Get up and stand alone
music
That was when I got an idea.
Came like a gun and shot in my ear.
Don't you think it's time you got up and stood alone?
Get up and stand alone.
That's when I got an idea (repeat and fade out)

For Any Time...
for any time...
i should have stood up,
and didnt,
for any truth
i should have spoken,
but kept silent.
for anyone
i could have helped,
but turned the other way.
for any injustice
i should have fought,
but did nothing...
i ask forgiveness.
for any time...
i've stood up
and fought,
extended a hand,
given more than i could,
stood against the crowd...
i feel no remorse.
i am a man...
you are either
a man, or a woman...
in the end,
that is what we are called to be!

Aint It A Shame
(graham russell)
Hit with the bug to run, you didnt go to college we can use you son
You look like the pride of your home town
But how can you hold out when your luck is down
(chorus)
Aint it a shame, aint it a shame, aint it a shame, aint it a shame.
Because Im too tired to run around
Meeting people from the wrong side of town
Looking for a place to live, Ive got no money nothing to give, listen
All you gotta do is look around for something thats new
Find a job thats stimulating, thats easy and Im still waiting
(chorus)
Ive stood in line and done my time
With nothin to do all day
Ive stood in line with all my friends
With nothin to say all day,
Ive stood in line and done my time
With nothin to do all day
Ive stood in line with all my friends
With nothin to say all day, nothin to say all day.
Got brains but got no drive
Moneys cheap, the roads are wide
All the good positions go too fast
I need a job I know will last
Ive got a job for you can you push that shovel can you swing that broom
Keep your head down and dont go slow
But dont forget to stop with the whistle.

The Lonely One
After the show you walked right past.
Arms reached out for your autograph.
And as you flashed your backstage pass.
I caught your eye with a camera's flash.
When the band came out they stood behind you.
Cymbals crashed, the lights went blue.
You stood alone in the halo's haze.
Shinny guitar hung on gold lamay.
And you, you were the lonely one.
You were the lonely one.
When you perform it's so intense.
When the critics pan I write in your defense.
I understand I'm just a fan, I'm just a fan.
When I get home I turn off the alarm.
I've checked the phone, no messages on.
I play the ones from yesterday.
I play you're song just to hear you say that....
You, you're the lonely one.
You are the lonely one.
You, you're the lonely one.
You are the lonely one

Grandfather Clock
The old grandfather clock stood in the hall
It kept time for us all
Through winter, spring, summer, fall
When I was young I would say
The big hand is on five today
and that's how I told time that way
As I progressed in age
Time was read in the correct usage
And time became more of a gauge
Time to go to school and learn
Time to work for what you earn
Time to leave no stone unturned
Time for weddings dresses worn
Time for children to be born
Time for graduation gowns adorned
Time for me, time for you
Time to see things through
Time for living and dieing too
The old grandfather clock still keeps time
Counting the hours that life is prime
So make the most or be left behind
Waiting For The Rain
Im waiting for the rain
Im waiting for you
Im waiting for the rain
To clean my soul
Im waiting for the rain
Nothings gonna be better
Without you
The day you left me
The day you came
Ill never forget you
Feel you in my pain
The time stood still
The time was flying
I wonder why
Im not dying
Im waiting for the sun
Im waiting for a new day
Im waiting for the night
To close my eyes
Im waiting for the dark
Oh its gonna be harder
Without you
The way we danced
Ill always miss
Ill never forget
The way we kissed
The time stood still
The time was flying
I wonder why
Im not dying
Na na na na na
Na na na na na

Lonely Words...
First time on face book,
a lonely post on the wall.
First time with a poem,
a lonely comment below.
First time on chat,
a lonely sad face: -(
I hate you,
never comes back.
A stare in the eye,
never is enough.
only with lonely words,
have you read and comment.
Until those words have voice,
until the creator is seen...
This are lonely words to speak.
A lonely word like goodbye...
Like the fans spinning on the roof.
The full moon in the sky,
like a dirty sock in the boot.
This lips are lonely till they meet yours,
This arms are hopeless till they hold mine,
This voice is empty without your name sighed,
This are lonely words if I tell lies.

It's My Time
It's my time
Gather round girls
You I grew up with
My old friends that I used to scuff with
Need you round me
At this time
You've all had your turn to cry
An old friend stood closely by
Friends of mine
Stand by me
'Cause it's my time
It's my time
It's my time
It's my time to cry
Mm mm mmm
It's my time to cry
Oh oh oh oh
It's my turn to cry yeah
It's my time
Gather round boys
I used to play house with
Come here boys
I first kissed on the mouth with
Need your tender words so kind
You've all had your misty eyes
An old friend stood by to dry
Friends of mine
Stand by me
'Cause it's my time
It's my time
It's my time
It's my time to cry
Whoa whoa
It's my time to cry yeah
It's my turn to cry mmm
Fade:
It's my time
It's my time
It's my time to cry mmmm

Song Called Children
Children playing in a park with a ball, teddy bears, and dolls if you watch them
Very close then you see theres a love for all dancing through the light music
Only they can hear they can close their eyes knowing theres nothing to fear
They cant see a thing whistle through the trees cos they are still children
They are still children
Now their time has come and gone they are grown all to soon it seems children
In their land and dreams dancing through the light music that only they can
Hear they can close their eyes and know theres nothing to fear I wish that
Time stood still so they would never feel the pain of not being children I wish
That time stood still so they would never feel I wish that time stood still

House for Sale
I stood in the midst of the empty house,
It was silent, empty, and bare,
gone was the laughter the tears and the life,
and the family that once lived there.
I stood there observing, to try to revive
the memories this house had to share,
the secrets, excitement, unhappiness too,
these feelings so willing to bear.
I heard children playing and lapping up life,
I heard adults talking and scolding,
This house bore it all with its solid repose,
and accepted with wisdom beholding.
I stood in the midst of the empty house,
with a feeling of sadness around,
abandoned and empty, a lonely shell,
for the place never uttered a sound,
it was silent and bare, where the rooms had been stripped
and the furniture taken away,
the paint had been scratched and the floor left unwashed
when the house was abandoned that day.
The ghosts from its past walk through each lonely room,
and I sigh as I button my coat,
I slam the front door with an echoing bang
and a lump seems to lodge in my throat-
for there on the green lawn for all eyes to see
with dark letters outstanding on pale
is a board standing taut in the cold winter sun
with the large, lonely wording- "For Sale"

Over The Falls
They broke out in laughter again,
His lip beaded with sweat as they strapped him in,
And he stood by and waited to be called.
The talk was of times that had gone by
And the quantity and quality of women they lie.
His eyes welled with wet and his mouth had gone dry.
As he stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited like the others before
For his turn to go over the falls.
He got up and tried it again.
For lack of persistence is surely a sin.
As he stood by and waited to be called,
He looked to the lightning with glee
And admired his vessel for its symmetry,
Feeling twelve units shy of a bachelors degree.
As he stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited to be called.
He stood by and waited like the others before
For his turn to go over the falls.

Can't Stop Now
I noticed tonight that the world has been turning
While I've been stood here dithering around
Well I know I said I'd wait around till you need me
But I have to go, I hate to let you down
But I can't stop now
I've got trouble of my own
Cos I'm short on time
I'm lonely and I'm too tired to talk
I noticed tonight that the world has been turning
While I've been stood here withering away
Well I know I said I wouldn't leave you behind
But I have to go, it breaks my heart to say
That I can't stop now
I've got troubles of my own
Cos I'm short on time
I'm lonely and I'm too tired to talk
To no one back home
I've got troubles of my own
And I can't slow down for no one in town
No I can't stop now
And I can't slow down for no one in town
And I can't stop now for no one
The motion keeps my heart running
The motion keeps my heart running
The motion keeps my heart running
The motion keeps my heart running

Mishmash! Wish-wash! A LONELY FISH Washes Away in Troubled life Seas!
Among twinkling stars – blue, red, yellow, I am blue with lonely flu!
Among the glossy stars, I am a dark space, a black hole, a black dwarf;
My life sucks for lonely bucks, everything sucks by lonely heat blue,
Squashed inside, packed outside by lonely gravity sucks – it kicks me off!
Mishmash! Wish-wash! A lonely fish washes away in troubled life seas.
Cock-a-hoop! Cock a snook! Oh my god! Lonely fish weeps in sleep!
Night has started, brain is heated – a lonely man repeated word ‘awful’;
I read lonely book full, It can be harmful, and it can be dreadful;
My heart is filled with empty space, my mind killed in the rat race!
Life dies inside me; hope dies outside as no one is beside my face;
Mishmash! Wish-wash! A lonely fish washes away in troubled life seas.
Cock-a-hoop! Cock a snook! Oh my god! Lonely fish weeps in sleep!
Alone I am in blowing wind as I stood in dark ravine of lonely ground!
Alone I am, I heard a baying sound – a tiny translucent gray cloud;
Alone I am, it is the loudest noise in the silence – a howling cry!
Alone I am, it echoes everywhere – I can’t explain any more – I’m dry;
Mishmash! Wish-wash! A lonely fish washes away in troubled life seas.
Cock-a-hoop! Cock a snook! Oh my god! Lonely fish weeps in sleep!
Alone I am wherever I go; alone I am whatever I do, I’m a lonely flower;
Alone I am in depression, alone I am in frustration – oh lonely sparrow!
Alone I am in today, alone I am tomorrow – all the time in sorrow....
Alone I am – lift me up, alone I am – help me out of the lonely river.
Mishmash! Wish-wash! A lonely fish washes away in troubled life seas.
Cock-a-hoop! Cock a snook! Oh my god! Lonely fish weeps in sleep!

Over & Over
Lonely one, lonely one, lonely one, lonely one...oh baby.
Hey, were falling like the rain
From the sky (dont know why) I thought that things would change.
But, in the real world, you make it so hard
Ive lost my faith in the stars
And my heart keeps on breaking
Chorus:
Over, and over, and over again
My heart is breaking
Over, and over, and over again
Hey, were moving like the sea (can you take me)
Where I wanna be (where I wanna be)
Its clearer than water
My love cant be stronger
And no ones better for me
But in the real world
You make it so hard
Ive lost my faith in the stars
cause my heart keeps on breaking
(chorus)
Every time you leave me
I just cant believe it
Tell me why its so hard to give you up
Over and over
Every time I tried, it hurt more inside
I should have known from the start, tell me why its so hard
Lonely one, lonely one, lonely one, lonely one...
Please dont leave me, my heart would be such a lonely one
I think its time this time...(over and over)
Dont ever leave me
Please dont leave me, my heart would be such a lonely one
I think its time this time...(over and over) ooh baby
Ive got to give you up, but I dont want to let you go
I think its time this time...
Please dont leave me, my heart would be such a lonely one
I think its time this time...(over and over)
I dont, dont wanna believe that its over
I think its time this time...(over and over)
Dont ever leave me, oh my heart
The fire keeps on dying in the end.
Hearts keep breaking...

So.. Lonely I Feel! ! !
The days were dry
the nights were scary
with those lonely dreams & thoughts
and the eyes filled with tears & sorrow
so.. lonely i feel
so..lonely i feel
everyone else left me alone
everyone else passed by
without even noticing me
as though there was no one standing
i felt like a lonely tree in the desert
so.. lonely i feel
so..lonely i feel
i wanted someone to hold my hand
i wanted someone to wipe my tears
but all the time i was
left alone with noone to help me out
so.. lonely i feel
so..lonely i feel
i wanted to screem
i wanted to cry
but had a fake smile everytime
it was a long time i had laughed
it was a long time i had smiled
i did my best to be with this world
but every time i had failed
so..lonely i feel
so..lonely i feel! ! !

To Be With You Again
Ive been making moves in chains
Wrapped around my hollow heart
The thought of you remains
I cant replace your face no matter how I try
And in the night I cry from wanting you
You know I thought I could not lose
America was calling me
You said I must choose
Between a life of love or visions that will fade
And now the choice is made Im so lonely
Can you feel me
Reaching out to you
Im so lonely
Are you lonely too
I would give anything
To make you understand
That I would go anywhere
To be with you again
Heaven help me if you can
I remember better days
But now I understand
You cant buy happiness, love is not for sale
The night is turning pale and Im needing you
Ive tried to talk the time away (but the time is here to stay)
Empty ears arent listening
To one word I say (time to play)
The dream became a big machine out of control
And here inside my soul I am so lonely
Where are you now
When I need you so
Im so lonely
I need you to know
I would give anything (can you feel me)
To make you understand (reaching out to you)
And I would go anywhere (where are you now)
To be with you again (when I need you)
I was standing in the rain
I was trying to break the chains
I was calling out your name (something snapped inside of me)
I need to be with you again, yeah
Baby
Can you feel me (can you feel me now)
Reaching out to you
Im so lonely (I am so lonely girl)
Are you lonely too
Where are you now (I would go anywhere)
Now I need you so
Im so lonely (I am so lonely girl)
I need you to know
I would give anything
To make you understand
And I would go anywhere
To be with you again
And you are the only one
Who can break these chains
And I would go anywhere
To be with you again
(can you feel me)
(reaching out to you)
(where are you now)
(when I need you so)
(Im so lonely)
(are you lonely too)
(where are you now)
(now I need you)

The Broken Heart
Between the trees, he stood, that lonely man.
Looking out with eyes that did not quite see.
In his sad mind there really was no plan,
He knew not what would be his destiny.
He’d spent so many hours just standing there,
Days fine and sunny, cold or thick with snow.
And seemingly his brain was unaware
That he was pacing slowly to and fro.
The days when he had worked, had loved, had smiled,
When things were good and life held happiness,
Were gone, and now no job, no wife, no child.
Alone he faced the world in deep distress.
He must somehow take hold and try to mend,
The broken heart that shattered with the grief.
To forward go, to turn the final bend,
And leave the past behind and find relief.
Between the trees, he stood, that lonely man,
And looking up towards the sky, he said,
‘You’ll both be with me through my earthly span,
To meet again in paradise ahead’.

Sons Faith, Mothers Pride And Joy
She stood looking down into the empty
Ground where her son would find his resting place.
Recalling her pride and joy, as he grew up
From a baby boy.
How he dreamt of things to come
As he played out in the sun
How he would walk with his head held high
And how she stood by his side.
He would always talk of how
he was destined to help others
And how his life would change
For every step had been pre-arranged.
He talked of things to come
And how it would be done.
He would say: there are many of us
Destined for greatness
but in different kinds of ways.
We just have to thank GOD and
get down on our knees and pray.
Many times I would ask: son! Why do you talk so!
And he would reply: many things we do not know.
But everything will be revealed in its
Proper time and place, and we will be blessed
By the LORDS holy grace.
The changes will not be world wide, and will
Be done a little at a time.
The same as GOD made everything in six days
And on the seventh he rested
So will our faith be tested.
You had always said that there are three things
In life. HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE.
And one cannot exist without the other two
This was taught to me by you.
You had shown me the power and strength
In HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE
By your belief in GOD above.
You have made me who I am today
And I thank GOD every day.
Some may see the glass as half full
And some may see it as half empty
I see it as a life of plenty.
You was put here as my mother to teach.
And I was put here as your son to learn.
And in my mind your lessons did burn.
And when it’s time for me to go
In your heart you will know
That I was destined to roam these skies
And to touch the heart of man
In every way that I can.
She recalled the words that he had said to her.
Mother! Why do you worry so?
You have instilled in me FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE
In my heart- and in CHRIST I’ve become a big part.
As they brought the casket to his final resting place
Everyone stood in amazement and awe
To what they had just saw.
she pulled back her shoulders and with
A smile on her face, she nodded to the priest
To give the last rites.
She stood with pride as they lowered the casket
Into the ground.
She stood with pride without making a sound.
She knew he was where he was destined to be
As the beautiful spirit flying free.
Everyone felt a chill, and they all looked around.
For they all knew “ he was heaven bound”.
