Days

Every morning I awake
to face the coming day.
Some are harder than others.
Some are filled with promise,
while others are filled with dread.
All will consume me
before the darkness calls
and my head hits the pillow
of my comfortable bed.

Pillow

I try to get comfortable in my bed
But there's always something wrong
with the pillow ‘neath my head.
It's either too warm or sometimes too cold.
I turn it, pummel it
Then toss it aside instead.
But then I miss it and can't decide
Shall I grab it again
Or count to ten?
How can I sleep with no support?
My neck gets stiff. My eyes won't close
And all because of the pillow I chose.

Maybe I need a silk pillowcase,
one that's fringed with fancy lace.
Or maybe it's not the pillow to blame.
Maybe it's my head that's not the same.
It's filled with words and melodies
That makes my pillow hard to please.
I'll try to get comfortable again tonight.
It's my head on that pillow
or a pillow fight.

The Walking Dead

I don’t sleep too well anymore.
I’m usually awake in the morning by 4: 00
I look at the clock and say “Oh no! ”
Should I stay in bed and lie awake
or start my day early with a coffee break?

I’m ready for a nap in the morning by 10: 00.
But then I’d have to start my day all over again.
I’m not a good napper. I hear every sound.
I’m like a ball of string that’s tightly wound
but coming loose at the end.

Now REM sleep, what’s that about?
That’s something I think I’ve done without
for too darn long. It’s a female woe.
A man hits the pillow and off he’ll go.
He’s asleep before you can say goodnight.

It’s obvious it gets worse the older I get.
There’s a clock in my head that must be set
with an alarm that goes off at 4: 00 in the morn.
I wish I could sleep like when I was born.
But that’s not gonna happen soon.

So here I am deprived of sleep.
I’ve tried everything, even counting sheep
but the darn fleecy things keep on comin’
and in my head I hear a drummin’
sayin, ” get up, get up, and get out of bed.
Most times I feel like the walking dead.

Crime Of The Heart

Dreams that have melted now frozen like statues
Under the surface here lies the unknown
Love has a way of disguising its purpose
Seeing your pain my hand goes out to you
You should have known better than to trust him
How the pain shines through your eyes
Nothing hits harder than a crime of the heart
It breaks you up and it tears you apart
You just want to die, youve been so abused
Now you know how it feels to be used
Nothing hurts harder than a crime of the heart
Im such a fool, I should have known from the start
I saw it coming and I feel Im to blame
But love dont give in
I watch your face as you stare into distance
Eyes filled with tears that look so far away
Deep in your heart can you feel a resistance?
Love it just happens theres no-one to blame
You should have known better than to sacrifice
The stained-glass soul you hide
Nothing hits harder than a crime of the heart
Its the kind of feeling that pulls you apart
Theres no where to run, theres nothing to say
You never knew that you could feel this way
Nothing hurts harder than a crime of the heart
I could have told you he was wrong from the start
Im not guilty, but I feel Im to blame
My love wont give in
Crime of the heart

Down in the dark

Down in the dark, it’s all in my head,
The pain the sorrow, all of the dread,

I want it to leave, but it wants to stay,
I try and I try, but he won’t go away,
There by day, there at night,
Saying the things, that fills me with fright,

I’m down in the dark, it fills my head,
The pain the sorrow, all of the dread,

He’s always around, lurking inside,
Watching; waiting, my hands are tied,
In my head, always near,
In my thoughts, building the fear,

Down in the dark, filling my head,
The pain the sorrow, all of the dread,

The pain; it grows, bursting within,
The dark; he’s back, with his terror filled grin,
“I’ll help”; he says, talking to me,
“I know what to do, just come and see, ”

Down in the dark, it filled my head,
The pain the sorrow, all of the dread,

My thoughts are violent, with sorrow in my chest,
I just close my eyes, and hope for the best,
He tells me good job, I’ll find the light,
But my life is ending, with the chill of the night.,

Dead in the dark, lost in my head,
No more pain or sorrow, not even dread….,

September's Birth, In Beautied, As Best.

September's baby is full of heart...
They to be filled with knacks at art.

They stretch towards ways of useful way of words...
They enjoy such as beautiful sights in birds.

September is a day in our life...
Since a day of birth and searching for that one perfect mate-
whether of that one most wanted husband or wife.

September's stone is that of a Saphired in blue...
A great beauty to eyes filled with, so blue in hue.

The sign of the scales will do...
Well due.

The Day Began Well

At mid-day when the darkness fell
did you not see those demons from hell?
Did you not hear the bells ring out
and the weeping angels wail and shout?

Before the darkness this was a happy place,
people wore smiles upon their face.
Then came the dark and the churches filled,
goats stood shackled to the windowsills.

An ill wind blew down the town’s main street,
the silence was broken by a deafening bleat.
An inherent sence of evil, dread, and gloom,
brought no peace of mind this afternoon.

From different directions voices could be heard,
preachers shouted their God filled words.
In makeshift churches the repentant cried out,
whilst hymns could be heard amid their shout.

It was as if they knew that the end was nigh,
hopelessness and despair filled every eye.
With sinister foreboding in their thoughts and heart
the darkness demons tore their souls apart.

The World Is In Pain

This world was once as bright as gold
With happy people young and old
But then as the people tell
To the evil goodness began to sell

The world wasn’t as bad as it is
With people’s tears coming out as rain
It wasn’t filled with darkness
It wasn’t like today - The World Is In Pain

And as the darkness began to prevail
So says the story tellers tale
From bad to worse, and worse to worst
It felt as if the whole world would burst

The world wasn’t filled with all sorts of crimes
With all the people going insane
The world wasn’t filled with killers and bandits
It wasn’t like today - The World Is In Pain

Now evil is ruling and angels are dieing
No truth is there and the people are lying
And as the truth is overpowered by lie
Over all places the dark clouds fly

The world wasn’t filled with lies
With search of truth ending in vain
The world wasn’t filled with darkness
It wasn’t like today - The World Is In Pain

Lonely

I am lonely
very, very lonely
as I sit here every night.
My heart has passed
the impossible dream
and waits as the darkness calls.

I am lonely
very, very lonely
as I sit here every night.
No one to comfort me
in the wee small hours
before night turns into day.

I am lonely
very, very lonely
as I sit here every night.
Watching the lights go out
as every sleep head
against a pillow falls.

Leaving me lonely
very, very lonely
as my companion of darkness
every night comes to call.

Psalm 59

Like rabid dogs my trials surround me
I hear them howling in the night
I seek some solace from my bed
But all my sleep has taken flight

Awake to me in all my troubles
For you alone Lord are my shield
On every side I am surrounded
As I fall down on the battle-field

Consume them Lord consume the darkness
Deliver me from every fear
Lift my head that I may see you
Let me know that you are near

A Peaceful Morning

From a sea of mist,
the sleeping trees emerged
under a cloudless sky
as the sun’s warming rays
lit up the surrounding hills.
Rabbits scampered on the grass;
birds glided in the sky,
the world began to awake
on a beautiful September morn.
No chill penetrated the air
and from the vantage point
where I stood was just a peaceful morning
emerging to welcome the dawning day.

Fearful Heads

The heads of the high and mighty
must be filled with dread.
They must be looking behind them
to see who wants them dead.

They wear the crowns of sparkling gems
and look down from their thrones.
They send their tax collectors out
to steal from weary bones.

But tired bones can gather strength
and somehow find a way
to keep those heads filled with dread
forever and a day.

Sonnet 2

The round old clock on the wall.
Silence is the dark of night.
How these shadows will crawl.
I hold closely my pillow tight.
There I thought I seen you,
But was it only a vision I seen.
How the darkness plays so true.
A face so pale and sadly mean.
Take this away from my very sight!
Tormented by these dreams I cry.
I can't wait for the morning light.
These nightmare's I ask myself why.
I awake to the morning sun's bliss.
For the night will change all of this.

Whenever I Say Your Name

Whenever I say your name, whenever I call to mind your face
Whatever bread's in my mouth, whatever the sweetest wine that I taste
Whenever your memory feeds my soul, whatever got broken becomes whole
Whenever I'm filled with doubts that we will be together
Wherever I lay me down, wherever I put my head to sleep
Whenever I hurt and cry, whenever I got to lie awake and weep
Whenever I kneel to pray, whenever I need to find a way
I'm calling out your name
Whenever those dark clouds hide the moon
Whenever this world has gotten so strange
I know that something's gonna change
Something's gonna change
Whenever I say your name, Whenever I say your name, I'm already praying, I'm already praying
I'm already filled with a joy that I can't explain
Wherever I lay me down, wherever I rest my weary head to sleep
Whenever I hurt and cry, whenever I got to lie awake and weep
Whenever I'm on the floor
Whatever it was that I believed before
Whenever I say your name, whenever I say it loud, I'm already praying
Whenever this world has got me down, whenever I shed a tear
Whenever the TV makes me mad, whenever I'm paralyzed with fear
Whenever those dark clouds fill the sky, whenever I lose the reason why
Whenever I'm filled with doubts that we will be together
Whenever the sun refuse to shine, whenever the skies are pouring rain
Whatever I lost I thought was mine whenever I close my eyes in pain
Whenever I kneel to pray, whenever I need to find a way
I'm calling out your name
Whenever this dark begins to fall
Whenever I'm vulnerable and small
Whenever I feel like I could die
Whenever I'm holding back the tears that I cry
Whenever I say your name, w

Early Morning Silence

Sitting in the early morning silence
that hasn’t filled with
the approaching days gloom.
That time when the mind
has a chance to run free.
The early morning silence
when no one is around.

The intrusive world has not
invaded our space with idle chatter
from sources that surround us
making up our daily lives.
The early morning silence
we need to activate our mind.

You sit in the darkness
just before the dawn appears
enjoying the solitary that is temporary stillness
brings to your ears.
The early morning silence
when no one is around.

The Well

At sixteen I believed the moonlight
could change me if it would.
          I moved my head
on the pillow, even moved my bed
as the moon slowly
crossed the open lattice.

I wanted beauty, a dangerous
gleam of steel, my body thinner,
my pale face paler.
          I moonbathed
diligently, as others sunbathe.
But the moon's unsmiling stare
kept me awake. Mornings,
I was flushed and cross.

It was on dark nights of deep sleep
that I dreamed the most, sunk in the well,
and woke rested, and if not beautiful,
filled with some other power.

This Present Darkness

I'll get through the present darkness; yes through it with The Lord,
For He's an unchanging Light in darkness, and a solid Rock for sure.

Trials will come in this world; He told us we will have tribulation,
But we look for a world far better through His promise of salvation.

For when life get truly hard to accept and my only question is why,
I think of Paul's revelation, when after the trumpet we hit the sky.

A glorious day is coming friend, to leave the world behind for sure,
The day we see those who went before us and together meet The Lord.

When my life seems filled with pain and I begin to wallow in sorrow,
The Sprit reminds me my home is above and I look towards tomorrow.

As a Christian I'm not promised an easy life filled with prosperity,
Instead blessings come my way, when I Glorify God in my adversity.

Trials are so tiny compared to the blessings The Lord sends my way,
And even when my heart gets heavy, I know He's coming again one day.

Knowing that He's coming again very soon, helps me I'm very sure,
To take full advantage of each day and witness at every opened door.

Jesus told us we are to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove,
But we need to be serious about Eternity and win the lost with love.

My friend, all comfort and earthly gain is only temporal prosperity,
But trials for the Christian are a wealth of gain for all Eternity.

Black Snow

Winter has come
He'll show us
What will come upon
The forever lasting signs

Flowers shall wilt
And never grow again
Trees and us have died in Winter's wrath
He have only hallowness
Filled with dread

Does he have darkness in his heart?
Is pain all he seeks?
Yet he have sadness in his eyes
Is pain all he seeks?

We shall wilt
And never grow again
We died upon Winter's wrath
We shall filled his hallowness
Filled with only dread

But, Winter's tears fallen upon us
Expecting ice to stab thee
Cold as his heart we have expected
For coming at us
Is the cold snow of his sadness

His sadness is greater than his hate
His loss is greater than our pain
He murdered us for a reason
Probably he knows that Spring will never revive us
Spring have died with the Earth and tribe

Sadness in his heart?
The pain is what he has left
Yet there is greif in his blackened heart
Is salvation all he seeks?
His pain will finally fall apart

His heart is broken
And forever more, he will never have love again
Spring have died in human's wrath
For his heart is hallow
His tears shall bury us
In black snow

With Doubt

My mind is often filled with doubt
about who I really am.
I know my name and what I be,
but really who am I?
Some say this and some say that,
they are only reflections
of who I really want to be.
My lack of confidence in myself
leaves me lagging behind everyone else
and my mind filled with doubt
about whom I really am.
Dark clouds descend around my head,
no clear sky do I see
and mind is filled with doubt
which disguise is really me.
Will my mind clear one day
and reveal the truth to me
or will I face life with doubt
of who I really be.

Jamie Lee

Three a.m. in the morning
And your day seems so long
You lay awake in your bed and sigh
Wishing a father could fill your home
And as the tears roll down your face
Soak your pillow you stop and say
Oh mama dont you worry
Things are going to be ok
Though we never had much and we always fussed
Constantly knew that you were there
To bring us back together and to show
How much you cared, you were always there
You were there for me mama cant you see
I will always be your little baby
You took up for me gave me things I need
Singing la la la la
Good times went so fast though they didnt last
I will always be filled with your memory,
Oh mama
Ill always be your jamie lee
When you cry, I cry too
When you hurt, I hurt with you
So, dry up those tears, Ill always be here
To comfort and care for you
Though we never see each other much
In my heart is where youll stay, so mama
Dont you worry, things arent always gonna
Be this way
You were there for me mama cant you see
I will always be your little baby
You took up for me gave me things I need
Singing la la la la
Good times went so fast though they didnt last
I will always be filled with your memory,
Oh mama
Ill always be your jamie lee
Even though were far apart, you still warm
A place in my heart, all alone, dont know
What to do, just dont say goodbye, just say I miss you

The Future Of A Weed

The eternal future of every weed is truly a very bleak one indeed,
And even though they do not believe, they are truly a soul in need.

They are not planted by God and have no divine purpose at all,
Instead they are simply used by the devil to deceive man to fall.

For Satan cunningly plants them all around with one purpose in mind,
It is to grow up with the children of God only to deceive and malign.

But The Lord is gentle in hope that some weeds will come to believe,
For at one point in time we too were lost in the world and deceived.

Jesus pulled me out of the soil of darkness filled with ugly blight,
He then planted me on The Eternal Rock and filled with His Own Light.

He gave to me His Light my friend, so that I could share it with you,
Friend Christ died for the ungodly, which means He died for you too.

Put away your empty laughter, and be filled with the joy of The Lord,
He died to save you I promise, and by God you have not been ignored.

Christ is coming at the end of the harvest to take out all the weeds,
Christians alone will be judged and rewarded for all of their deeds.

The weeds will be tossed into darkness, and will never laugh again,
Only weeping and gnashing of teeth with not even Satan for a friend.

Continue to harden your heart my friend and you will eternally lose,
Imagine, hearing forever the last voice that shared the good news.
