A Dilemma
Sometimes we see someone
whom we believe
that our paths have crossed before.
However, time has blocked
the when and the where.
Their name escapes us too
and a dilemma arises
do we ask or don't we.
Is it just a case of
what we cannot remember
best stays forgotten in time?

Will The Truth Come Out One Day?
Will the truth come out one day?
Is what has happened wrong?
Our paths crossed in a funny way
To you I have nothing to say
But with you it's our secret all along
Will the truth come out one day?
If caught, a bad mood you'll display
But our concealing is strong
Our paths crossed in a funny way
I feel bad 'cause with you I didn't stay
But we weren't seeing each other for that long
Will the truth come out one day?
I'm glad it was under you I lay
Because my feelings for him have gone
Our paths crossed in a funny way
From this will I have to pay?
But i'm glad this is still going on
Will the truth come out one day?
Our paths crossed in a funny way

Remember When..
remember when i would cry
remember when you would just pass by
remember when you left
remember when i was blessed
remember when you left me
remember my whole family
remember your doughters and your sons
remember that they are not the only ones
remember all the trauma you caused
remember when our paths were crossed
remember when you wanted to say good bye
my world shattered because you were to me a nice mom.
i dont think you will remember this
because this might seem like nonsense.

Stays In Mexico
His name was Steve,
Her name was Gina,
(spoken) You've never been here before have you?
They met at a bar called Cabo Wabo Cantina,
He was an insurance salesman from South Dakota,
She was a first grade school teacher Phoenix Arizona,
(Spoken) No, My first time here
They started dancing and it got real hot,
Then it spilled over to the parking lot,
One more tequila they were falling in love,
One more is never enough!
(Chorus)
Don't bite off more than you can chew,
There's things down here the devil himself wouldn't do,
Just remember when you let it all go,
What happens down in Mexico,
Stays in Mexico
He woke up in the morning and he made
a little telephone call,
To check on his wife and his kids back
at home in Souix Falls,
(spoken) hey baby everything ok?
She hopped right in the shower with a heavy heavy mind,
(spoken) What am I doing?
He knew it was the first time Gina
had ever crossed that line,
They walked down to the beach and started drinking again,
Jumped into the ocean for a dirty swim,
One more margarita they were falling in love,
One more is never enough!
Chorus
Don't bite off more than you can chew,
There's things down here the devil himself wouldn't do,
Just remember when you let it all go,
What happens down in Mexico,
Stays in Mexico
Oh Mexico
Waiting at the bar at the terminal gate,
She says 'Steve I gotta go, I'm going to miss my plane'
He said 'One more tequila before you climb on up,'
She said 'one more is never enough!'
Don't bite off more than you can chew,
There's things down here the devil himself wouldn't do,
Just remember when you let it all go,
What happens down in Mexico,
Stays in Mexico
Chorus
Stays in Mexico,
Stays in Mexico,
Stays in Mexico,
Oh Mexico

Graduation Day
Theres a time a for joy
A time for tears
A time well treasure through the years
Well remember always
Graduation day
At the senior prom
We danced til three
And there you gave your heart to me
Well remember always
Graduation day
Take it away
Take five
Though we leave in sorrow
All the joys weve known
We can face tomorrow
Knowing well never walk alone
When the ivy walks
Are far behind
No matter where our paths may wind
Well remember always
Graduation day
Well remember always
Graduation (day) day

Do You Remember
Do you remember when we frst met?
When our first hug was?
Do you remember the first time you said i love you?
The first time we talked on the phone until 3am?
Do you remember when our first kiss was?
Do you remember where our first kiss was?
Do you remember...? ? ?
Do you remember our relationship?
Did you forget about us... about me?
Hopefully you didnt because i havent forgotten and i will never forget you or the thing we had.

Remember The Time
Do you remember
When we fell in love
We were young
And innocent then
Do you remember
How it all began
It just seemed like heaven
So why did it end?
Do you remember
Back in the fall
Wed be together
All day long
Do you remember
Us holding hands
In each others eyes
Wed stare
(tell me)
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Do you remember
How we used to talk
(ya know)
Wed stay on the phone
At night till dawn
Do you remember
All the things we said like
I love you so
Ill never let you go
Do you remember
Back in the spring
Every morning birds would sing
Do you remember
Those special times
Theyll just go on and on
In the back of my mind
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met girl
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Those sweet memories
Will always be dear to me
And girl no matter what was said
I will never forget what we had
Now baby
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Remember the times
Ooh
Remember the times
Do you remember girl
Remember the times
On the phone you and me
Remember the times
Till dawn, two or three
What about us girl
Remember the times
Do you. do you, do you,
Do you, do you
Remember the times
In the park, on the beach
Remember the times
You and me in spain
Remember the times
What about, what about...
Remember the times
Ooh... in the park
Remember the times
After dark..., do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Do you, do you, do you, do you
Remember the times
Yeah yeah
Remember the times

Donald Rumsfeld Meets William Wordsworth
There’s what we remember we remember
and there’s what we forget;
then there’s what we remember
that we’ve forgotten;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we used to remember;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we’ve forgotten.
There’s a poem there somewhere
now I’ve got that far.
Dammit, I’ll go for a walk
now the daffodils are out.

What's My Name
You always were too cool
Pushing us around school
Everyone knew who you were
You always walked the line
We had to step aside
We always had to eat your dirt
But the tables turned
And things have changed
Time for a lesson
So let's spell it out again
Remind me just in case
You might have forgotten
What's my name?
Say it again
You always brought us down
Kicked the weak around
Making out that we didn't exist
When we'd speak our views
You'd say 'who are you'
And make your point with a fist
But the tables turned
And things have changed
Time for a lesson
So let's spell it out again
Remind me just in case
You might have forgotten
What's my name?
Say it again

Cluttered
I've been thinking in circles and triangles
trying to help you figure out the feelings
mine were already figurative to you, but
added yourself, subtracted him and divided by me
equation would've been balanced for the time being
Oh! But to you, my love was just, an aura
never seen before, a touch never felt in the heart.
it was there even before the time itself existed
nothing to change about it, turn around,
crawl back or change myself in that case
More of that or lesser self-respect
then enter the heroine, not the drug
but in a way you were, I was addicted
I wasn't the villain, not the hero either
not in your eyes at least, sigh! Smiles
I watched it all burn upon my inner eye
triangles and squares, feets and acres,
whole books and empty sheets of memories
thinking in circles again
thinking is circled now
Love is deviant in ways that seem impossible
beautiful and unequivocal than the most
but no one gives a rat's arse, do they?
Consumer zombie minds, Hah! Dead walking!
Welcome to the future bro! My friend told me
Time do changes most people
so do feelings that slay the time
nothing stays the same for that long
but I wasn't the most, you knew it all along
thus the dilemma, I figured, I understood.

Time 'O Death
I remember the day I died
orbed circles spinning o'er me,
permeating my ashened, closed lids.
I spoke....but noone could hear me.
And amid this passage, bizarre as it be
I did feel upon me a thousand smiles
of those i'd crossed paths with in difference.
I smiled back....but noone could see me.
I awoke to the clamor and chaos
of mortals in pale green gloves 'n gowns
operating machines of resurrection;
'Time o' death'... I heard someone ask.
I had died....but it wasn't my Time;
Someone please remove those cold quarters
from my eye-lids, thank you!

Two Stars
Passing through night’s dark skies,
two stars crossed paths.
Each blazing flare,
gave hint to destined goal.
Briefly two courses merged,
as though communicating.
The elder star’s task complete.
The other, long life, lie ahead.
The tail of one began to dim,
hinting at growing old.
Soon, disappeared from sight.
Lost, midst star clustered canopy,
The fledgling burning brightly,
sailed along on course.
Time was drawing near,
its date with destiny to keep.
Two stars crossed paths
One a tired soul,
reaching for the heavens.
Another sought the earth,
to kindle life anew.

Never Too Far
You're with me
Til the bitter end
What we had transcends
This experience
Too painful to
Talk about
So I'll hold it in
Til my heart can mend
And be brave enough to love again
A place in time
Still belongs to us
Stays preserved in my mind
In the memories there is solace
Never too far away
I won't let time erase
One bit of yesterday
Cause I have learned that
Nobody can take your place
Though we can never be
I'll keep you close to me
When I remember
Glittering lights
Incandescent eyes
Still preserved
In my mind
In the memories I'll find solace
Never too far away
I won't let time erase
One bit of yesterday
And I have learned that
Nobody can take your place
Though we can never be
I'll keep you close to me
And I'll remember
A place in time
Still belongs to us
Stays preserved in my mind
In the memories there is solace
Never too far away
I won't let time erase
One bit of yesterday
Cause I have learned that
Nobody can take your place
And though we can never be
I'll always think of you and me
Always remember
Love
You're never too far

Fields Of Gold
There are fields of Gold behind the little house
Filled with the greatest of treasures
Bronze, Gold and Silver
Do you remember?
Remember our childhood, Our life’s
The shinning Silver sparkling in the skies
The brightest Bronze hidden under the ground
The greatest Gold glimmering through the fields
Can you see them?
Picture it in your mind
All the times we danced
Every time we laughed
Where we used to love
Or have you forgotten?
Forgotten the good, Forgotten the bad
Every memory
Every moment
Every word
I wish you’d remember
To turn back time, So you could take me
Take me to the gold
To the fields on a summers day
To our fields, our treasure
The Silver, The Bronze
The Gold
But the treasures gone
The house still remains
The fields just as empty as the day we left
Times have changed
Our life’s have changed
Our Silver gone dull
Our Bronze all rusted
Our Gold long forgotten
It was never there
The winds of time and turns of the earth have seen to that
But I remember
I cry for the children who found the greatest of treasures and those who lost it so soon after
And I dream of dancing and singing and running and laughter, of the treasures that lie in the fields of Gold.

Forgotten, But Not Gone
(johnny macrae/buzz carson)
Her birthday came and went without a card, or a single I love you
On their anniversary she sat all alone at a table set for two
She tries her best to please him, but she never hears one single word of praise
She feels just like a stranger, in a home where love has seen its better days
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
Somehow he cant remember, when hes late to even take the time to call
And even on the nights hes there she gets the feeling hes not there at all
Shes become a prisoner in that big old house where sweet love used to be
Well, its not even over but lord she feels just like a memory
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone

Ill Remember You
Ill remember you
When Ive forgotten all the rest,
You to me were true,
You to me were the best.
When there is no more,
You cut to the core
Quicker than anyone I knew
When Im all alone
In the great unknown
Ill remember you.
Ill remember you
At the end of the trail.
I had so much left to do.
I had so little time to fail.
Theres some people that
You dont forget
Even though youve only seenm
One time or two.
When the roses fade,
And Im in the shade,
Ill remember you.
Didnt i, didnt I try to love you?
Didnt i, didnt I try to care?
Didnt I sleep, didnt I weep beside you
With the rain blowing in your hair?
Ill remember you
When the wind blows through the piney wood.
It was you who came right through,
It was you who understood.
Though Id never say
That Id done it the way
That youd have liked me to.
In the end,
My dear sweet friend,
Ill remember you.

Loss of Time
A forgotten time
A forgotten society
A forgotten land
A forgotten people
A time of peace
A time of war
A time of grieving
A time of celebration
A time of loss
A loss of knowledge
A loss of dignity
A loss of loved ones
A loss of sanity
A loss of peace
A beginning of a new time
A beginning of new life
A beginning of new knowledge
A beginning of new peace
A beginning of new war
Its all a cycle
From a new beginning
To loss
To a time of difference
Till it is all forgotten
And a new beginning is forged.

At Seventeen
I remember you when you were only seventeen
the sun was high above us then
and all the fields were green
and dressed in grey and white
the world was at your feet
but you'd no time for fame or lights
you were myth made real
and every part of me believed
I remember dancing in your arms at Christmas time
the local band played Maggie May;
the world was out of sight
and you were harmony
in every move you made
and I was just a teenage fool
with sense enough to pray
that I might spend some time with you
(chorus)
And now you've crossed the great divide
Your pain is gone, at such a price
And I will think of you, in grey and white,
I will think of you on autumn nights
I will think of you at Christmas time
And I'll think of when your lips touched mine
And I'll remember you at seventeen
When the sun was high
and all the fields were green
I remember you outside the gym when we were young
your eyes were full of sunshine,
there was passion on your tongue
I didn't have the words
to tell you how I felt
but still you took my hand, and walked
where love rose and fell
and I'll remember when we touched
And now you've crossed the great divide
Your pain is gone, at such a price
And I will think of you, in grey and white,
I will think of you on autumn nights
I will think of you at Christmas time
And I'll think of when your lips touched mine
And I'll remember you at seventeen
When the sun was high
and all the fields were green

Crossing Paths
Our paths
crossed
For a moment
in time
we were
together
Enjoying
each other
I blew a
kiss your
way
it caught in
the wind
It was
blown away
Never to
return
That was
yesterday.

Forgetting To Never Forget
September 11th 2001,
Only a child of five years,
Now 13,
Now I cant remember,
Now I have forgotten,
I cant remember what I was doing,
I cant remember how I felt,
The worse day of Amarican history,
And I will never remember,
I'll know it was there,
I'll know it was horrid,
I'll just never remember me,
I have forgotten,
To never forget,

A Boat By The Silent Pond
a boat stays on the silent pond
beneath the trees with wide branches
it is tied
not so tight
any child can let it loose
and release it and soon
it will go and
we wonder
what is it that it is waiting for
and for whom shall
this boat go
there is this ride that each shall take
no one wants to take it earlier
always one says later
later
there is no hurry
the children have grown and they wear
faces like yours
they go away and you are left alone
with the person you love
you have a conversation
time goes like a stranger
the friends you know have either grown old
or have died and their coffins pass by your house
you remember
memories and you smile at the youth you once had
you remember the boat
the child in you has loosened it
you pick up on what was easily forgotten
you cope up
you say you want the ride now
it is dark
and the silence spreads on the paddle
the ripples exude the essence of the journey
you hold a hand
and you sit comfortably without worry
it is time to go.
