Gates Of Leaders
On the streets I walk, I see shop windows that are broken
I know I heard the fire extinguisher had spoken
but I never knew, and can never accept what we loose
I just don't know how me and you became so confused.
Because you and I have lost, we can't find
we can't speak properly because they make us lose our mind
me and you are the wrong way around
because time doesn't go backwards that's what I've found.
An apple from a tree falling will always want the ground
an audience for a band, they will always want the sound
a person who wants to learn, they will want to be taught
and a heart without no mind is searching for a thought.
To those I love I hate to think that we don't have what it takes
but if they don't teach us we'll never know how to climb the gates
cause we bring out knifes and Fork's with empty plates
and smash reflections, we smash until the window breaks.
I will work my whole life for a job I can't get
and I will do it all for my pension cause they have promised me it will remove my debt
but I asked for my loan a million times and haven't received one penny yet
I have just joined the unemployment line and I'm ready to place my bet.
I see a gambler who doesn't know how to get the dream
he is sat next to a homeless man who is an ex marine
and walking in is a gang member who has blew his life
a mother sits and cries because her son has just committed suicide.
I wanna tell the politicians they can no longer hide
that you are not flying our flag when you have took our pride
you have took the legs from men who once did walk
and your fighting a war but all you ever do is talk.
A prime minister has confused us because he has spoken
so the knife I bring forward is to cut him open
and the plate is for his head for thinking he fought
I don't know but I think he would want me to use the Fork
because I know he knows that animals are hungry after all
and that's why the gate is so big and really I am not that tall
but I put all I have on my belief that we are not too small.

Let's have a Chardonnay tonight
Don't take everything for granted
my indecision is just a cloud moving fast
when the dawn raises up I will be ready
it takes me years to understand
and now I won't step back
I'm going to divide at last, I choose to fly
I won't listen to this empty noise
I'm going to make you mine
there are so many me, so many you
and male seahorses become pregnant
Please no, don't tell me you're tired
I want to get high, I need to get confused
if I lose control I'll forget my mind
let's have a Chardonnay tonight
Somewhere we can't walk alone in the street
hungry animals are hunting around
somewhere we are eaten for nothing
smelly beds watching obscene faces
and the kids play out of sight
I should write pain on my left knee
over the scars, over the insensitive skin
they say broken bones concentrate weaknesses
I'll let you turn me on this time
and I won't dream that I'm hampered to run
Oh please, don't tell me you're tired
I want to get high, I need to get confused
if I lose control I'll forget my mind
let's have a Chardonnay tonight
There are natives in Africa
whose women teach the youngest masturbation
to better satisfy their men as wives
if you know your pleasure, you give pleasure
and my mother never asked me when I started fucking
We smoked pot together and we had sex on the carpet
I was looking at those trees outside the wide windows
I felt as I was moving as they did, with the wind
then we ate Indian food next to the river port
and the music took me to exotic places
Please, don't tell me you're tired
I want to get high, I need to get confused
if I lose control I'll forget my mind
let's have a Chardonnay tonight

Void
I've seen so many faces
These hands have lied before
I've kissed so many lips it's blocked my mind
I've whispered bullshit, nothings
I've cried alone in night
I thought I'd found the one a million times
But doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you in my heart?
And doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?
I let a stranger love me
I gave away my pride
I bit my lips, so I could block my mind
I've called your name to others
Just like a spinal chord
Severed and broken but the spark still tries
And doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you in my heart?
Doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the noise?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?
They don't know you like I do
They don't see the good inside you
They don't lie with you in bed and join you when you're dreaming
They don't see your softer side
Who'll be there to turn your light on?
Who will try to wash away the stain that love has left us?
Doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone kill the place of you in my heart?
Doesn't anyone bring the noise?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?

Sons Faith, Mothers Pride And Joy
She stood looking down into the empty
Ground where her son would find his resting place.
Recalling her pride and joy, as he grew up
From a baby boy.
How he dreamt of things to come
As he played out in the sun
How he would walk with his head held high
And how she stood by his side.
He would always talk of how
he was destined to help others
And how his life would change
For every step had been pre-arranged.
He talked of things to come
And how it would be done.
He would say: there are many of us
Destined for greatness
but in different kinds of ways.
We just have to thank GOD and
get down on our knees and pray.
Many times I would ask: son! Why do you talk so!
And he would reply: many things we do not know.
But everything will be revealed in its
Proper time and place, and we will be blessed
By the LORDS holy grace.
The changes will not be world wide, and will
Be done a little at a time.
The same as GOD made everything in six days
And on the seventh he rested
So will our faith be tested.
You had always said that there are three things
In life. HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE.
And one cannot exist without the other two
This was taught to me by you.
You had shown me the power and strength
In HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE
By your belief in GOD above.
You have made me who I am today
And I thank GOD every day.
Some may see the glass as half full
And some may see it as half empty
I see it as a life of plenty.
You was put here as my mother to teach.
And I was put here as your son to learn.
And in my mind your lessons did burn.
And when it’s time for me to go
In your heart you will know
That I was destined to roam these skies
And to touch the heart of man
In every way that I can.
She recalled the words that he had said to her.
Mother! Why do you worry so?
You have instilled in me FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE
In my heart- and in CHRIST I’ve become a big part.
As they brought the casket to his final resting place
Everyone stood in amazement and awe
To what they had just saw.
she pulled back her shoulders and with
A smile on her face, she nodded to the priest
To give the last rites.
She stood with pride as they lowered the casket
Into the ground.
She stood with pride without making a sound.
She knew he was where he was destined to be
As the beautiful spirit flying free.
Everyone felt a chill, and they all looked around.
For they all knew “ he was heaven bound”.

Smash You
Hangin' out on the avenue
Looking for something to do
Didn't know when we first met
That you would be such a pest
Didn't go callin' on the phone
I don't need your dial tone
You been treatin' me so bad
You're the best girl that I ever had, so
Oh, oh, oh, oh, baby
Go, go, go, go, honey
Oh don't you know
You make me wanna smash you
Fighting on the avenue
I knocked some sense into you
Oh I know it's not enough
You think you're so damn tough
All this talk about suicide
Too many pills
Too many lies
Oh baby
You're no good you see
One, one, one get away from me
Oh, oh, oh, oh, baby
Go, go, go, go, honey
Oh don't you know
You make me wanna smash you
Oh, oh, oh, oh, baby
Go, go, go, go, honey
Oh don't you know
You make me wanna smash you
Ah, go!
Fighting on the avenue
You make me wanna smash you
You make me wanna smash you
Oh!
Hanging out on the avenue
Lookin' for something to do
He didn't know when we first met
That you would be such a pest
I picked up the phone it rings
Baby make me wanna smash your head
You been treatin' me so bad
You're the best girl I ever had, so
Oh, oh, oh, oh, baby
Go, go, go, go, honey
Oh don't you know
You make me wanna smash you
Oh, oh, oh, oh, baby
Go, go, go, go, honey

You make me wanna smash you
Smash you

When I Lost Myself
There are those who are forever searching and
After many decades have passed lose themselves to another world-
Although with much certainty and disillusionment
I can hardly remember living much of a life in
This world where people walk with confidence and self-assurance everyday-
Memories of nights as a child so young
Hearing voices others did not hear and
Seeing frightening sights others did not see-
Feeling alone although in the midst of myriads of others, afraid to speak,
Fearful to walk the streets others took for granted-
I was only six years old when voices threatened to kill
Would invade my already troubled mind and
I found myself an outcast for reasons I hardly understood-
The purple tree with golden flowers that grew inside of my bedroom-
As strikingly stunning as it was,
I fell to the floor when I tried to climb,
Because it only existed in the fortress of my mind-
My journey to find myself began when I learned to walk-
I learned to scream before I learned to speak-
Decades have passed and memories are evading me-
Walking the same path day by day-
While others are looking for a place in a world I feel I am not a part of,
My journey to find myself continues-
I walk upon a different path and have climbed many mountains
Seeking purple trees and my own garden of Eden-
Or merely for others that would accept and just remotely understand
The person I am and the world I have lost myself to-
Although my spirit at times evades me,
In the back of my mind I know in reality there must be a place for me and
Although at times my only wish is to climb that phantasmal purple tree
Until I reach the sky and disappear within only a moment’s notice
I will not give up the fight- I was born into this world so there must be a place for me-
Many decades have passed and today I see the sunlight peering through the clouds,
Though an outcast, I have a heart, a mind and feelings as does everybody else-
I continue to walk the streets everyday and my visions of purple trees, and
My dogged determination are what makes me unique- and someday people shall
Respect the person that I am and understand that flowers grow on every tree and
Every flower is unique, has its own special scent and every flower is
In its own way- magnificent and beautiful…

The Homeless Man
I reluctantly wake up to another bleary, dreary day
To see the marks from those broken shards of glass
The anxiety, stress and anger, those desperate cries for help
Wrists throbbing, trails of blood, but still on this mortal earth
Shouting, crying at the top of my voice in my head
Those voices and screams, why why, but still left unheard
A hopeless situation in a hopeless uncaring world
Why do I carry on, I do not know
For I am the homeless man
As I walk and wait for the daily metro as the shops begin to open
Looking on as shutters go up, coffees are poured
Those enticing aromas that I can ill afford
Lost in the wilderness, trying to work things out
Confused, not understanding, just want to hide myself away
Those black clouds that are looming heavily above me
To tired to care anymore, to tired to walk, to tired to care
For I am the homeless man
I am the strange man people look at whilst sneering, jeering
Walking down the road getting on with their lives
The business men that carry on with their shallow existence
Unaware and unwilling to care
Their clockwork lives telling them to carry on
Stepping over you, shouting abuse whilst you just sit there
The mothers and children merrily off to school
Complaining because you’re in the way
Why, because I am the homeless man
I wave my hand out, only wanting some small change, begging to live
Thinking whether I will I eat today, but gone without now for so long
Do I even care whether I die or live in the uncaring world
The tall buildings that are drawing me near
Looking from the rooftops above, just one more step and it will all end
Unsure of what is stopping me taking that last plunge
Is there still a glimmer of hope, a strand from a rope to hold on too
For I am the homeless man
I am the man with hidden disabilities
No sticks or wheels to burden or for people to see
But the one in my head, the other person I hate the most
The resentment and anger I have for myself
For the person I have always long to be
Now the paved streets have turned to doors and bars
The sneers and jibes, anxiety and paranoia
What will the future hold for me, we will have to see
For I am the homeless man
So next time you walk through your town or city
On your way to school, work or leisure
And maybe you will come across a homeless man, woman or child
But do not walk past or shun away
A homeless person they may be, but humans they are too
Spare a kind thought, a handshake, or some small change
Because through some misfortune
You too could also be that homeless person

A Man Could Get Arrested
(tennant/lowe)
--------------
Do it (do it do it do it do it do it...)
Do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it...
Do it now do it now do it now do it now do it now do it now do it now
Do it (do it do it do it do it...)
Late on tuesday evening, such a commotion in the street
Someone broke a window, and someones head got beat
A wave of breaking bottles, crashed across the city street
And someone got arrested, for the breach of the peace
If you wanna walk (walk walk walk walk)
Dont talk (talk talk talk talk)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna earn (earn earn earn earn)
Learn (learn learn learn)
How to do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it do it)
And if you wanna ride (ride ride ride ride)
Dont hide (dont hide)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna stay (stay stay stay)
Dont say (say say say)
Prove it! (prove it prove it prove it prove it prove it prove it)
How much longer are you gonna sit and talk to me?
You got so many problems and a split personality
You want to see a doctor before our love is tested
How much longer a man could get arrested?
If you wanna walk (walk walk walk walk)
Dont talk (talk talk talk talk)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna earn (earn earn earn earn)
Learn (learn learn learn learn)
How to do it! (do it do it do it do it do it)
And if you wanna ride (ride ride ride ride)
Dont hide (hide hide hide hide hide)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it)
And if you wanna stay (stay stay stay)
Dont say (say say say)
Prove it! (prove it prove it prove it prove it prove it prove it)
Youve got your health, youve got everything, thats what my doctor said
You may not have much cash, but youve got a roof over your head
Of course I said I loved you, not just cause you insisted
How much longer a man could get arrested?
If you wanna walk (walk walk walk walk)
Dont talk (talk talk talk talk)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna earn (earn earn earn earn)
Learn (learn learn learn learn)
How to do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna ride
Dont hide
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it)
If you wanna stay (stay stay stay stay stay)
Dont say (say say say say say say)
Do it! (do it do it)
Do it! (do it do it do it do it do it do it)
Why dont, why dont we do it now?
Do it now?
Why dont, why dont we do it now?
Why dont we do it now?
Why dont, why dont we do it now?
Why dont we do it now?
Why dont we do it now?

Smash
Hey
What are you thinking
I tried to reach your face
Say
See what youre thinking
Dont carry around that pain
Everytime I see you
Picking at yourself
I love
I love when things worked out
Smash
I heard you crying
Seven times this year
Crash
cause now youre smilin
Holding back those tears
Every time I see you
Picking at yourself
I love
I love when things worked out
Every time I see you
Torturing yourself
I love
I love when things worked out
I see it from another place right now
Im coming home before I hit the ground
Run fast there I wanna be gone now
Smash
And I feel it
Smash
And I feel it
Smash
And I feel it
Right now

What Would The Children Think
She wakes up in the morning with the new sunrise
Looks at her husband sleeping still
Inside she cries
She makes the children breakfast
Gets them on their way
Watching them through the window
She prepares to face another day
Then her husband tells her
That he wont be home til late
Theres so much work hell have to stay behind
But she knows it isnt work thats on his mind
But still hell never leave her
Cause what would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do
If they knew the way it was
But theyll never learn because
What would the children think
Where would the children think
At the gate she kissed him
And watched him walk
Hoping this small charade
Will stop the neighbors talk
She turns to hide a tear
Inside her gilded cage
She cries for the love she could not hold
And lost to someone half her age
Then her pride and breakin heart
Tell her to run away
But she values what shes got a little more
Two kids, one 9 and nearly 4
And she would never leave them cause
What would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do
If they knew the way it was
But theyll never learn because
What would the children think
Where would the children think
What would the children think
Where would the children go
What would the children do.

Through Falling, Falling Snow
As from my frozen window pane
I looked upon that winter's day,
The snow was drifting deep and crisp
And skies were darkest grey,
I did not wish to leave the warmth
Of home but knew I had to go,
And walk towards those factory gates
Through falling, falling snow.
I headed down those empty streets
Within the early morning light,
So hard each step I had to take
Through all life's bitter spite,
I longed to be back home again
As freezing winds did cruelly blow,
But headed to those factory gates
Through falling, falling snow.
I wondered where it all went wrong
Those thoughts remained within my mind,
As I did languish in the drifts
My eyes were almost blind,
I could not see the way before
And yet the way I seemed to know,
That led unto those factory gates
Through falling, falling snow.
And so towards that bleak estate
Past houses that I knew so well,
I thought that I would rather starve
Than face that day of hell,
I fought against my apathy
But soon my tears began to flow,
As then I saw those factory gates
Through falling, falling snow.

The Dark Saga
The deal was rigged
There's darkness in my soul
I want to die again
An empty soul shrouded in darkness
Alone and confused what am I?
Images flash memories jaded
He took my life God damn his lies
Fight son of the damned, bring down the heavens
Smash in the gates, burn 'em down
You must accept the fate that you've chosen
You will obey your destiny
Chorus
I cheated myself for love
Love unconditional
Now just to see her face
I've lost it all
Bridge
I know there's goodness in me
Though I'm not the same
I will defy the master
I will refuse to be his slave
No, I was betrayed I can't accept this
My future's unclear, it's a lie
I'll follow my heart stand and be counted
The curse will lift I will survive
Repeat Chorus

Everything You Don’t Know About Me
My mind is lost
My heart is lost
My body is lost
My spirit is lost
And I don’t know
If I can find it.
My pride is somewhat lost
My soul is somewhat lost
My thoughts are somewhat lost
My words are somewhat lost
Can not find what to say.
My life is confused
My daily happiness
Is still confused.
My smiles that I give
Are confused
But I don’t want to pretend
That I am happy when I’m not.
The smiles are numb to me
The laughs are numb to me
The good spirit is numb to me
The goals are lost and forever
Numb to me.
The love is no longer there
The happiness is no longer there
The smiles and pretending is
No longer there.
The happy thoughts are
No longer there.
Nowhere to be found
This is me.
But I don’t get it
They hurt me
Can’t they see?
Maybe I should just stay out
Of their lives.

Straight Into The Heart
The anger.
The hate.
It's coming out of every pore.
It's a case where only filth can be described.
Imagining so vivid images of slashing someones throat.
Why you do that to me, god only knows.
But it takes everything I got to keep my temper in check.
This time, this time, I'm just going to walk away.
Cause I've been hurt to many times before.
A look back forever more.
The smile is just disguise of things so deep that I hide.
If you think I'm happy then just maybe you'll be better of in the mind and heart.
The path I walk is but confusion in the dark.
A lost little child trying to find his way back home.
Born under the sun upon a forced wedlock never meant to be.
Living someone else's destiny.
If only they were in my shoes.
The maybe they'd understand the world so demanding I live in.
But I will not ever bring another in the way did you.
Never again.
The path of the broken.
I fell down on the ground and told you everything.
My weakness was yours.
My heart was exposed.
And the knife you shoved right through.
The blood dripped off it the blade as you pulled it out.
It was with out a doubt the worse experience in my life.
It was my fault I never blamed you,
I gave the opening.
So I should been better prepared to perform the closing.
And emergency surgery please make room.
He has a life threaten wound.
We have to go in now.
No time to waste.
A saving grace.
Putting everything in it's proper place.
It is as it should be.
But now I'm leaving that all behind.
A part of my life I shall never again describe.

I Heard It Through The Grapevine
I bet you're wondering how I knew.
Ah, what you're plans to make me blue.
With some other guy you knew before.
Between the two of us, you know I love you more.
It took me by surprise I must say, when I found out yesterday.
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Not much longer would you be mine. (Not much longer would you be mine)
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
And I'm just about to lose my mind.
I know a man ain't supposed to cry.
But these tears I can't hold inside.
Losin' you would end my life you see.
'Cause you mean that much to me.
You could have told me yourself,
Oh, that you love someone else.
Instead I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Not much longer would you be mine. (Not much longer would you be mine)
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine. (Heard it through the grapevine)
Oh, and I am, and I am just about lose my mind.
People say believe half of what you see.
Oh, and none of what you hear.
Whoa, I jus' can't help being confused.
If it's true please tell me dear.
Do you plan to let me go
For the other guy you left me for

A Member Of The Corps
He was small for a Marine,
The dying boy there in the bed.
Three times he'd fought off cancer
but now, inside his head,
a serious infection
would claim his life instead.
Cody Green was only twelve.
All his life he'd loved the Corps.
They made him a navigator,
The insignia he wore.
An honorary soldier
A marine in time of war.
The crises was upon him.
He would not win this fight
A fellow member of the Corps
Stood honor guard all night
There would be a flag draped coffin
for this member of the Corps.

A Marine in time of war..

God Will Judge
I came upon a fork in the road
And I didn't know which path to take
Should I take the path most traveled upon
As that decision I just have to make.
So I ponder the decision for a while
Till an outcome came to my mind
I would take the one that was less traveled
And truthfully I still know not why.
I started my journey down that path
As down that road I began to walk
I then began to think the thoughts to myself
And also to myself I began to talk.
I came upon two men and a woman arguing
Screaming back and forth about hate and love
I bowed my head and then I walked away
And I said to them, one day GOD he will judge.
I walked down the road a little bit further
Then I noticed water upon the path
It formed a pond which became my mirror
Then I saw myself looking in, so I had to laugh.
I looked so sad and I look so confused
As at first I didn't think that it was me
But they say with age comes wisdom and sadness
So maybe that really was myself looking back at me.
I continued my journey down the path
Just seeing were it was going to take me next
Or will the road just end like how it began
So later in the day I might sit back and reflect.
I then came across some people stealing and fighting
While an innocent man was screaming that's enough
Then like cowards I saw them all just run away
Then I said to the innocent, one day GOD he will judge.
So I continued my journey down that path
Out of curiosity to see where It would take me then
But it took me back to that same fork in the road
My ending was also where my journey did begin.
Then suddenly I had awaken from that dream
My journey was really a dream that I just had
And was it a dream about my very own circle of life
Especially my pain and suffering and what made me sad.
So I sat up in my bed and started reflecting back
Into my soul which is full of sadness of love
I think the dream was telling me do not ever forget
And that also in time to all, GOD He will judge.

Homelessness In Winter
back about 30 years ago,
living on the streets in Charlotte...
finally found a job... was lucky enough
to have a place to take a shower...
sleeping in the backseat of a broke
down Ford Maverick... cold winter...
got up and walked 4 miles to work
every morning,4 miles 'home' in the
evening...
went on for a couple months before
i got a place to live...
so yes i know what homelessness
feels like...and i cant help thinking
about all the empty foreclosed houses....
empty houses, homeless people....
back then, even if you couldnt find a
real job, they had a place where you
could go and line up to do day work...
worked all day for about 25 dollars...
if you couldnt do that, you could always
sell blood.... i dont know what they do
now....i just know it's a hard life...and if
you've got family, got kids...
something to think about the next time
you see a homeless person walking the
streets!

Unexpected
I was talking to you on the phone for very long on, which makes me happy because
It been two years since I heard your voice
It's not same without you here
You are living in Orlando to go college
I can't wait to see you soon when you come done for Thanksgiving break
Unexpected
I change to a bad girl by sneaking out of house after you text that you want to see me
I have so much mixed emotions, and I don't know how I feel right now
As I was walking down the street in the middle of the night, you call me and my heart start beating fast
You stop your car right in front of me, so you can come out to hug me and it all feels so right
You sitting in your car, holding my hand, smiling way you do, and looking me in my eyes as we talk
I forget how mad I was
When we talk and catch up about our life, it makes me realized how much you have change
I feel like nothing could go wrong
Then we drove around to have time of our life
I rather be there with you and no one else
We did crazy things in the car and act like no one else is around
We finally park somewhere quiet and ten minutes later we have fight about stupid stuff
That made me walks away from you in the first place
You drove me home and few words were spoken
Unexpected
You said wait when I about to leave because you want a hug and I was confused
It's really over or it wasn't?
The next day, I talk to my friend who I haven't heard in awhile
She found out that you were lying to me
You are back with your ex and cheating on her with me
I can't believe you lied to me
How can I ever trust you again?
Tell me that you never cheat and is your friend's cousin who does it
You will never change
You always be that guy who breaks my heart
I never want to speak to you or never ever want to see you again
I though give you a second change means that everything will be different this time
It wasn't and always going be way I left
I am one putting all the effort to give us another try, but
Unexpected
You won't do the same and said you want to, and lied again
I am being strong and not crying for someone who doesn't care for me
I have to go and get off your train
All I have left of you is smell you left on my clothes when you hug me
Unexpected

The Heart Never Learns
Only time can bring the peace of mind
you treasure
only love can really break your heart
but we must feel the pain before the pleasure
only then can we tell them apart
we are never too afraid of taking chances
searching in the dark with no concerns
but it's always the same with
all romances
it's the heart that never seems to learn
thinking that it's finally my turn
like a fool believing every word
you tell me that it's over but
that's not what I heard
'cause my heart just never
seems to learn
many times I've wished that love had
never found me
after knowing all the pain that
it brings
always hoping to feel your arms
around me
without fear
of losing everything
it's the heart that will awaken
all the senses
and the senses light up the soul
but we hide what we feel with
more pretences
than the pride that comes before
the fall
thinking that it's finally my turn
like a fool believing every word
you tell me that it's over but
that's not what I heard
'cause my heart just never seems
to learn
how can I ever find what I've
always wanted
with a heart that never seems
to learn
never seems to learn
