Sons Faith, Mothers Pride And Pain
She stood looking down into the empty
Ground where her son would find his resting place.
Recalling her pride and joy, as he grew up
From a baby boy.
How he dreamt of things to come
As he played out in the sun
How he would walk with his head held high
And how she stood by his side.
He would always talk of how
he was destined to help others
And how his life would change
For every step had been pre-arranged.
He talked of things to come
And how it would be done.
He would say: there are many of us
Destined for greatness
but in different kinds of ways.
We just have to thank GOD and
get down on our knees and pray.
Many times I would ask: son! Why do you talk so!
And he would reply: many things we do not know.
But everything will be revealed in its
Proper time and place, and we will be blessed
By the LORDS holy grace.
The changes will not be world wide, and will
Be done a little at a time.
The same as GOD made everything in six days
And on the seventh he rested
So will our faith be tested.
You had always said that there are three things
In life. HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE.
And one cannot exist without the other two
This was taught to me by you.
You had shown me the power and strength
In HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE
By your belief in GOD above.
You have made me who I am today
And I thank GOD every day.
Some may see the glass as half full
And some may see it as half empty
I see it as a life of plenty.
You was put here as my mother to teach.
And I was put here as your son to learn.
And in my mind your lessons did burn.
And when it’s time for me to go
In your heart you will know
That I was destined to roam these skies
And to touch the heart of man
In every way that I can.
She recalled the words that he had said to her.
Mother! Why do you worry so?
You have instilled in me FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE
In my heart- and in CHRIST I’ve become a big part.
As they brought the casket to his final resting place
Everyone stood in amazement and awe
To what they had just saw.
she pulled back her shoulders and with
A smile on her face, she nodded to the priest
To give the last rites.
She stood with pride as they lowered the casket
Into the ground.
She stood with pride without making a sound.
She knew he was where he was destined to be
As the beautiful spirit flying free.
Everyone felt a chill, and they all looked around.
For they all knew “ he was heaven bound”.

No More Prayin
By michael mcdonald
Why do we look so hard?
Why do we ask so much?
In this world, its sad in a way
How time unblesses love, and faith is lost
Theres no more prayin for saving grace to find us
No more waiting for conscience to remind us
There are few things meaningless as words
At the point of no return
Why do we want so much?
Can we be satisfied?
In this life how many times
Can we pass the promised land, forever lost?
Theres no more prayin for saving grace to find us
No more waiting for conscience to remind us
There are few things meaningless as words
At the point of no return
We are lost between faith and hope
Between heart and mind, between love and pride
Eventually, the day will come
When lies wont buy time
Tears wont bring hope
When theres no more prayin
Nowhere to run or do what weve done before
There are few things meaningless as words
At the point of no return
We are lost between faith and hope
Between heart and mind, between love and pride

What If We Could See Ahead?
With times looking so very bleak, what if we could take a peek?
Of things that lie ahead for us, those who walk with Christ Jesus.
As it is Christ and Christ alone, who plots the path of all His own,
Man’s destined path, to fulfill, not man’s purpose, but God’s will.
My friend, if indeed man could, look ahead, you think we would?
Knowing that the times ahead, could bring us joy or bring dread.
Is not our tomorrow a mystery, one time in which we cannot see?
Is it God’s shield for all of us, a time for us to employ real trust?
What would be the heart of some, if we knew what was to come?
Within the heart of that individual, if a darker time was God’s will.
God knowing all, who He will test, to be a lighthouse for the rest,
Would it affect how we think, or even cause one’s faith to shrink?
What if some saw no trial ahead; would it skew our faith instead?
Would it cause that heart to swell, with a pride thinking all is well?
Is this why God truly limits man, from knowing God’s entire plan?
While daily guiding all of those, who truly follow Christ who rose?
So we are content in God to know, what pages of Scripture show,
Knowing this is but a temporal time, before an eternal life sublime,
No matter what our life may be, our real home is Heaven, eternally,
When we come to faith in Christ, God promised us an Eternal Life.

Depression To Faith
I see now that I can no longer cope
I finally reached the end of my rope.
All my life I’ve been the provider
Now I feel like I’m the outsider.
Looking in To the way life used to be
When I was happy and care free.
Now I am under so much stress
I think it’s time- that I rest.
I’ve always been the one to talk
About love, hope, and faith
Now I can no longer relate.
What makes us get to a point so low
That you have no where s to go.
When the apostles were crossing the lake
And the winds and rains came and they were sinking
They awoke JESUS saying
Master, master, - we are sinking.
Then JESUS calmed the waters and
the winds, and the rains
They just stood in wonder and felt so ashamed.
As he asked: where is your faith?
Now I stand here - ashamed of all my fears
For he is by my side to wipe away my tears.
My faith has always been my foundation
My heart, my soul, my inspiration.
Now I am growing weak
And the lords strength I do seek.
Without faith - all hope is gone
But the strength of your love lingers on.
So here I apply all that you’ve given
Because you make life worth living.

Rotten
There are many things my mind drifts through
Knowledge seems prudent at this time
So often a heart trusts on faith alone
Being broken and beaten along the way
Faith never seeming to be enough any longer
Not faith in God, but faith in people
Never knowing the truth...do you even know
Becoming someone I never wanted to meet
Falling miserably into your trap
Wondering when my turn for happiness will come
Am I destined to be alone in life
Maybe better anyway, disappointment stalks me
A time spent only to be wasted on those so unfitting
So I can be so unfulfilling in you life
Lies told and covered... deceit my only friend
My heart is numb and slowly you will fade away
I just hope you 'member' does not rot off
How tragic for her.

Love, Faith and Hope
Love is one identifying mark that sets Believers and others apart.
Men will know us from others when we have love one for another.
Love covers a multitude of sin, when you have Christ’s love within.
It was Christ’s love on the cross that covered the sins of the lost.
No greater love to comprehend than giving one’s life for a friend.
In His love, God did condescend, saving sinners like us, my friend.
We display the love of Christ, when we become a living sacrifice.
It’s a reasonable service to Him; As His Love washed away our sin.
If in your life you give God His place, He will then fill you with faith.
This Faith centers upon Him; as Christ turns you from a life of sin.
Faith becomes your foundation, the moment you receive Salvation.
Friend in your newly found Faith, you will be led by God’s Grace.
And friend your Faith is assured, as you put your Hope in The Lord,
Not in your life or other men but Hope in the One who God did send.
For Christ is The Hope of all men, He is The Beginning and The End,
As Christ is The Hope of certainty, that goes on well into Eternity.
My friend, Faith, Hope and Love, they are all gifts from God up above,
And if you glean from up above, you will see that the greatest is Love.
God’s Love produces in us a Faith that helps us point to God’s Grace.
Grace appeared to all then, and Christ remains The Hope of all men.

My Faith Keeps Me Safe
During times of great despair
I know my God is always there
He protects me from the evil eye
His hands reach down from the sky
To give me strength and give me faith
My god will always keep me safe
When I feel like I can't go on
My faith will always keep my strong
When I have no more tears to cry
When I feel like the world is passing me by
I know he will prevail
And lead me to his heavenly well
Its filled with hope, joy, and love
The water is from up above
I know he is there for me
Like he will always and forever be
Open your heart and let him in
He can show you the light within
Let him fill you up with his grace
When things are not going like you planned
Have faith
He gave me two angels to love
They are my life, my hope, my dreams
I know what A Mother's Love means
I like being on this team
I feel so happy and filled with delight
I can barley go to sleep at night
I can't wait to get to his heavenly place
My faith will always keep me safe

By Faith By: Cay Thorne
By faith we are loved –
By those who care for us.
By faith we have a heart –
To love everything and everyone.
By faith we can show virtue and enlightenment –
To those who need to be enlightened.
By faith we live within peace –
Especially during time of war.
By faith we have courage –
To do something brave and heroic.
By faith we face discrimination –
In every form there is under the sun with gusto and understanding.
By faith we can do wonders –
Beyond any means needed.
By faith we can do anything –
That we set our mind and heart on it.
By faith we have encouragement –
To try anything new that comes our way in life.
By faith we have hope –
To fight through any struggle that comes our way in life.
By faith we have hope –
To stop all wars and fights;
That begins with hatred.
BY FAITH ITSELF WE CAN DO A LOT OF GOOD IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT TURNING TO VIOLENCE.

Captain America
Captain America is that you
Flying down the highway
In your red white and blue
You remind me of the days
In that infamous war
When we werent quite sure
What we were fighting for
I see you again and it makes me think
About just who I am
Is there someone in charge
Who can lead the way tonight
Who knows the plan
Where theres love
There is grace
Theres still hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Gives me faith in the human race
Captain America what do you see
Millions of your brothers say theyll fight to be free
Who could have known you would be the chosen one
To kick start our dreams
The cycle of life goes around and round again
Tell me what does it mean
Can it be true
Where theres love
There is grace
And theres hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Gives me faith in the human
If we could trade all of our tomorrows
For the best of our yesterdays
Erase all the pain and the sorrow
Would there have to be a high price to pay
Hey Hey
We run for our lives
And were searching for shelter now
From the coming storm
Are you the man who can lead us once again
So come on, suit up, lets go
Where theres love
There is grace
And theres hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Theres not a damn thing we cant face
Where theres love
There is grace
And theres hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Gives me faith in the human
Faith in the human race
Yeah, I got faith

The Impossible
What seems to be impossible, is realized through the God of Israel,
By God, all things are possible, while His purpose, God does fulfill.
Christ is Immanuel, God with us, and in The Lord, we place our trust,
Though men are but of dust, He does the impossible in men like us.
All the impossible for God above, is nothing for His Awesome Love,
Guiding us in times deemed tough; showing all what faith’s made of.
The impossible comes many ways, as we live out these earthly days,
But as the task, to Him we raise, He turns that impossible into praise.
The things in life that men pursue, Christ, in Heaven above foreknew,
All difficult things we need to do, can and will be completed through,
The authority of the Living God, who reigns above this earth we trod,
As God guides us with staff and rod, as we travel on the earthly sod.
Even situations that we can face, would be impossible without Grace,
As we look back to time and place, God’s Hand in lives we can trace.
His hand of Grace reaches down, where the impossible can be found,
With a love that’s sure and sound, providing a Grace that will abound.
Nothing is impossible for Him, who sent His Son to die for all our sin,
Using our faith God puts within, He helps us through the time we’re in.
All the impossible men conceive, God works out in those who believe,
So The Spirit in others may conceive, desire that His Son they receive.

Love and Faith
All we have is love and faith
So much of life is fragile
We learn
And can be taken away
So much can go astray
But for love and faith
The last things to leave us
The first we hope for when we stray
The two things we pray
Even when heath and youth wither away
We may or may not feel loved ourselves
But if we have love in our heart we are truely blessed
And if we have faith we have what is best
Because God will see us through the rest

Son Of Man
Vocals: phil collins
Oh, the power to be strong
And the wisdom to be wise
All these things will
Come to you in time
On this journey that youre making
Therell be answers that youll seek
And its you wholl climb the mountain
Its you wholl reach the peak
Son of man, look to the sky
Lift your spirit, set it free
Some day youll walk tall with pride
Son of man, a man in time youll be
Though theres no one there to guide you
No one to take your hand
But with faith and understanding
You will journey from boy to man
Son of man, look to the sky
Lift your spirit, set it free
Some day youll walk tall with pride
Son of man, a man in time youll be
In learning you will teach
And in teaching you will learn
Youll find your place beside the
Ones you love
Oh, and all the things you dreamed of
The visions that you saw
Well, the time is drawing near now
Its yours to claim in all
Son of man, look to the sky
Lift your spirit, set it free
Some day youll walk tall with pride
Son of man, a man in time youll be
Son of man,
Son of mans a man for all to see

We’ve Faith To Hope
When peace on earth has blessed our ground
When innocent of sin
Then Christ God’s Lamb we’ve truly found
And Fire burns deep within
With peace God brings His love inside
Brings faith The Truth to learn
Brings hope to be the faithful bride
Of Christ who’ll soon return
Faith is the hope of that unseen
Of promises divine
That we one day as Heaven’s queen
May drink eternal wine
What hope has faith that’s placed in man?
What hope can such faith bring?
Is this not part of Satan’s plan?
To grieve our Lord and King
The word of God is all too plain
The past has shown quite clear
There’s nought to learn, there’s nought to gain
From man who’s wisdom’s here
We need to seek for higher things
We need to seek The Light
We need to seek the truth Christ sings
On pages black on white
Knowledge will come with wisdom’s dawn
Waiting at Jesus feet
We’ll drink His blood and be reborn
Through spiritual food we eat
By faith alone these things are done
Through faith we understand
That through our faith true life is won
Within God’s Promised Land

Robin
The robin rested, looking back
At me, while I looked out.
For there I stood, all dressed in black,
No hope and full of doubt...
Just like a statue, so forlorn,
No focus at that time...
Weak as the day that I was born
With one huge hill to climb...
My loneliness was hard to bear,
No friends, no family...
No sweetheart stood with me to share
The loss, the tragedy...
The robin sang despite the cold
And greyness of the day...
As if with faith as good as gold,
He soothed the pain away...
That tiny creature brought me hope
No heavenly choir could sing...
As if to help my heart to cope,
It waved with just one wing...
As if it knew life wasn't fair,
Yet God grants faith anew...
Today, by faith, I can declare,
Merry Christmas to you...

Sally's Goodbye
Sally got up early to find what she could wear,
Then brushed her teeth and combed her hair.
She wasn’t going outside to play,
For today was a very special day.
Sally put on her favourite dress and matching headband,
In her favourite colour she looked so beautiful, just as planned.
‘Are you ready? ’ her daddy said
‘Yes Daddy I am, I’m just making my bed.’
She held her Daddy’s hand as they walked to the car
For she knew someone was watching from afar
They got in the car and drove away
Looking at the white clouds, with a touch of grey.
Everyone was there to give her a hug and kiss
She knew it was a day that no one would miss
In her matching headband and blue dress
As she walked through the doors she said god bless.
The place was decorated just like she thought
There was just enough room for the flowers she brought
Sally went up to the front of the room
And she knew that she would see her Mummy soon.
‘Here you are Mummy, I got these for you’
She was wearing her favourite colour, which was blue.
Sally placed the flowers she carried in her basket
With all the others right on top of her Mum’s casket.
Sally was 7 years old and didn’t understand
That her mummy couldn’t see her pretty blue headband
Daddy came up and placed on some flowers
He smiled, looking at Sally, ‘she’ll know they’re ours’.
They took their seat and began to wait
Most guests were seated, some were late.
The minister talked of a woman so beautiful
A wife, a mother and all things wonderful.
Sally asked Daddy if she could say a word
It was the sweetest thing her Daddy had heard.
‘Of course you can, Mummy would be proud,
Just go up there and remember to speak loud.
Sally walked up the front and stood at the pew
She knew everyone could see her in her dress of blue.
With memories in her head and love in her heart
She cleared her throat and began to start.
‘Mummy was so beautiful and so kind,
When I did things wrong, she would never really mind.
Mummy was very sick, and now she’s in heaven
She missed my birthday, because today I’m seven.
I wore our favourite colour today, I hope she can see
I wore a matching headband, it’s nice, I think she’d agree.
Mummy, I will make sure that Daddy will smile
Because I know that we won’t be seeing you for a while
We miss you more each and every day
But I still see you in my own special way.
I close my eyes, and you are there
Smiling back at me with your long blonde hair.
I love you mummy, you’re the best mum to me
I know that this is the way it has to be
Every time I think of you I will smile
And I will see you in heaven, in just a little while.’
Sally sat down with a smile on her face
Daddy held her in a warm embrace.
‘I’m so proud of you’ Said Daddy with a tear in his eye
It’s not forever Daddy, it’s just a short goodbye.
Sally watched her mummy be carried away,
Her head held high she began to pray,
‘Dear god please take care of my mummy,
she will be the most beautiful angel there will ever be’

Love, Hope, and Faith
We live tomorrow
the dreams of today
Our hopes of the future
gives us faith along the way
Love is the river
of this wakened state
Its never out of time
its never too late
It gives us life
as it flows through our lives
It tears through confusion
loneliness and strife
Love cuts a clear path
through the test of time
You can see where it has been
and watch it unwind
Free as a river
that you can’t control
You can’t even say
where it might flow
Hope is a power
that cant be taken away
It can pull you through
even the toughest of days
Hope can keep you going
when everything else fails
It keeps you company
on the loneliest of trails
Faith is ever daring
in the face of defeat
It can bring you courage
that nothing can beat
Faith is never doubting
in yourself or your beliefs
Holding on to what you know
when content is just a dream
Faith can give you strength
to face what the future brings
Combined with hope and love
you only need the three of these
Love is like a River
Hope is like a dream
Faith is just believing
with nothing to be seen
So dream of tomorrow
and love for today
Hope with all your heart
Let faith show you the way

A True Blessed Hope
Christ is indeed for us my friend, our true Blessed Hope for the end,
He is our Blessed Hope my friend, in that we will see a brighter end.
This Hope is something we can’t see, that we can know is sure to be.
And this hope is for all who come, to a living faith in God’s Only Son.
In Jesus Christ we’re set apart, through faith in Him at the very start,
We’re set apart when we’re saved, from a world that’s quite depraved.
We’re seated in a Heavenly place, through the work of Saving Grace,
And sealed by The Spirit of God, and protected in this world we trod.
Placed on a much different path, and saved so we don’t suffer wrath.
The Wrath of God is sure to come, but not on men who love The Son.
We’re sealed until our redemption, and my friend there’s no exemption,
Once He comes to live in our heart, Christ my friend will never depart.
The Man of Sin is being held at bay, and he shall be up until that day.
Being held back until that very hour, by The Spirit’s restraining Power.
An hour of trial coming upon men, left on earth following Satan’s plan.
Our light will not in the world, when Satan’s darkened plan is unfurled.
For he will be revealed on the day, when The Holy Spirit is taken away.
And that’s the day my dear friend, Believers shall see the brighter end.
For on that day Christ will descend, to the clouds to meet us my friend.
And every believer will one day see, what for many today is a mystery.
The Blessed Hope brings us Salvation, while all others face tribulation.
Jesus is our Blessed Hope indeed, and all the assurance that we need.
Friend there can be no denial, that we’ll be kept from that hour of trial.
Jesus will keep us from that hour, by His Grace and Sovereign Power.

The Shadows Fell
April was a lovely girl, her warmth was in her eyes
And she and I would walk within the calm of clear blue skies
Too short our time together, and what time consisted of
I knew her well, the shadows fell
See, April was my love...
A young man then, I knew the things a young man knows
But somehow lost it all with age, I guess that's how it goes
But April understood, and in time revealed to me
Reflection, my direction
And what April was to be...
She became to me the way to love's soothing caress
The answers to all questions, life and love, were met with yes
All that April showed to me, my heart still now believes
To take her place, her smiling face
April love, my heart still grieves...
Our time together had the look, forever on it's face
The hands of time stood still for us, in arm, and sweet embrace
It wasn't meant to be for us, nor I to have the sound
But she was singing, bells were ringing
As she felt the darkened ground...
Too soon my April left me, to some higher plane I'm sure
To wait for me to come someday, and reminisce with her
To tell me why each tear was lost, each April that I cried
As love turned to loss, inside the cross
When my April died...
Winter's breath blows hard upon her memory now
But I remember April, springtime love and lifetime vow
Sometimes I can feel her touch, and feel the gentle breeze
The days and nights, the wrongs the rights
There are many thoughts of these...
Many years ago now, April's love had held my heart
Too many days, and nights spent now without, but not apart
And I would trade my todays, for yesterday to be...
With April once again, and back to when
April was my love, you see.......

Ballad: Pope Benedict XVI in US,2008
The Apostle of peace had come:
Pope Benedict by name;
To US, where he was welcome,
With missionary aim.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
In doldrums lies, world of today;
Man’s faith in God is weak;
Most think that science has final say;
So, God, most men don’t seek.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
The family in danger lies;
Now love does not prevail;
As virtues are replaced by vice;
And freedom blows like gale.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
The quest for God is dying fast;
Rely men in own toil;
‘The mole is mound’- all sins of past!
Man’s soul is on the spoil.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
With fervent prayers, send your pleas,
To God who is above;
The caring God will surely ease
Your problems, with great love.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
Encounter living God in life;
Blessings will follow then;
God cares for you in any strife;
Keep eyes upon Heaven.
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
Though holy is matrimony,
And sacrosanct is sex,
Man sins for sake of more money,
In ways that all can vex!
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.
Like love of God that radiates,
Let man’s heart do like-wise;
Let’s take the narrow road to Gates
Of Heaven; Be soul-wise!
‘Let faith in earthly life, God find;
Christ is the only hope,
For modern world, and all mankind, ’
Said Benedict, the Pope.

Faith For The Faithful
Through righteousness that’s not our own
Through gifts we now receive
Through Fire that melts a heart of stone
We’ve faith to Christ believe
We hope to see what’s never been
What no ones had to share
No ear has heard no eye has seen
We know through faith it’s there
Through faith we’ll see our God above
Through faith we live in peace
Through faith we’ll share eternal love
Where joy will never cease
Yet even when we go to sleep
Faith plays its wondrous part
We trust The Lord each night to breathe
Keeping alive our heart
Right there it seems to Christians odd
Why atheists don’t die
Unconsciously, they’ll trust in God
Yet consciously deny
Thank God for gifts that reigns supreme
Thank God for faith divine
Thank God for Christ The Living Stream
Through whom now life is mine
It’s mine because of faith’s embrace
Because of love unknown
Because I live to see the face
Who sits on Heaven’s throne
Alone I’d fail to walk the walk
I’d fail to claim this boast
No flesh and bone could talk the talk
Without the Holy Ghost
