The War of Error

Shove Democracy down their throats
Annihilate the race that disagrees
In Saudi brotherhood, make dollar float
What foreign policies are these?

Modern ethnic cleansing in disguise
Power holds the upper hand and aces
Who cares how many more millions die?
Who marks the devastation in their faces?

Controlled charade and Protectionism
Ignore the nations, what 'autonomy'?
You are the movers of expansionism
Through greed, you kill them with sheer Poverty.

What a sham and hollow masquerade!
The war games that you play reveal.
Ooops! What a big mistake you made -
The War of Error was all a pathetic deal.

My Own Summer

Hey you, big star
Tell me, when it's over
Hey you, big mood
Guide me, to shelter
'cause i'm through
When the two
Hits the six
And it's summer (cloud)
Come - shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove - shove it, shove it, shove it
The sun - shove it, shove it, shove it
Aside - shove it aside
I think god is moving its tongue
There's no crowds in the streets, and no sun
(in my own summer)
The shade, is a tool
A device, a saviour
See i try, and look up
To the sky, but my eyes burn (cloud)
Come - shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove - shove it, shove it, shove it
The sun - shove it, shove it, shove it
Aside - shove it aside
Come - shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove - shove it, shove it, shove it
The sun - shove it, shove it, shove it
Aside - shove it aside
I think god is moving its tongue
There's no crowds in the streets, and no sun
In my, own, summer
Come - shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove - shove it, shove it, shove it
The sun - shove it, shove it, shove it
Aside - shove it aside

When the modern corporation acquires power over markets, power in the community, power over the state and power over belief, it is a political instrument, different in degree but not in kind from the state itself. To hold otherwise — to deny the political character of the modern corporation — is not merely to avoid the reality. It is to disguise the reality. The victims of that disguise are the students who instruct in error. Let there be no question: economics, so long as it is thus taught, becomes, however unconsciously, a part of the arrangement by which the citizen or student is kept from seeing how he or she is, or will be, governed.

Shove

Woke up confused in a place I didnt know
And heard the hissing of an overused stem
The air around me is corrupt and on the take
Heard someone shout I think hes breathing again
It seems at first that no-one ever succeeds
You shove and shove until youre ready for more
And if the truth forgets to visit again
Dont take offense, hes never been here before
Shove! shove! shove! shove!
Shove in my head
Shove! shove! shove! shove!
Shoves you instead
Shove! shove! shove!
Puts you flat on your back
Shove! shove! shove!
Till the quiet attacks
Feels just like someone sank their teeth in my head
They tried to suck away my everlasting soul
I talked to God and all his literary friends
Said I was late so I just shoved it in again
Shove it again!

There Is a Lumping In Their Throats

Trust dusted.
Lusts of all kinds,
Now being busted.
And the smuggling once done,
Leave few prepared to run.
Nervous servants see this coming.
Some slip through exits.
None are humming.

There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
Without a boat.
~~~OH! ~~~
There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
Without a boat.
Gagging on fresh canteloupe,
Dressed in bathrobes in the castle.
Loud knocking on the doors disturb...
Hired belly dancers' tassels.
And the naked thieves who fed on grapes,
Watch the vice squad and cops rushing.
While the herdsmen hustling antelope...
Smoked their dope on the hills,
Without a hassel.
And from the castle windows seen,
Crooks sliding down ropes!
Some in mink coats.
Clinging onto bling...
While exposing 'other' things!
There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
Without a boat.
~~~OH! ~~~
There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
Without a boat.

And all those who had trusted a few...
Didn't know the few they trusted were police too.
They knew that they had been screwed,
When the canteloupe they gagged on...
They saw the antelope chew.

Trust dusted.
Lusts of all kinds,
Now being busted.
And the smuggling once done,
Leave few prepared to run.
Without their suits and ties to disguise...
How could they hide their naked thighs?

While the smoking of the dope supplied...
Came from the herdsmens' tribe!
~~~OH! ~~~
There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
Without a boat.
~~~OH! ~~~
There is a lumping in their throats.
That made some want to jump the moat.
Or even float...
~~~OH! ~~~
Without a boat.
~~~OH! ~~~
While they sat soaked.
~~~OH! ~~~
And jailed they mope!
What Are The Requirements Of Democracy?
What are
the requirements
of democracy
in an ennobled
modern society
incorporating
principles
of uncompromising
absolute justice
to light the way?
Democracy requires
accountability
democracy requires
transparency
especially
when extraordinary
steps are taken.
Above all else
democracy requires
compliance with
the rule of law.
Law both domestic
and foreign especially
to achieve maintain
international credibility.
Compliance is impossible
when an extraordinary
despicable technique
such as torture operates
outside of rule the law.
A country which proposes to make use of modern war as an instrument of policy must possess a highly centralized, all-powerful executive, hence the absurdity of talking about the defense of democracy by force of arms. A democracy which makes or effectively prepares for modern scientific war must necessarily cease to be democratic.
In democracy
In democracy
Writ of the peole runs.
In democracy
Repesentatives should not
Called leaders.
In democracy
Representatives must not
Act as er whim.
In democracy
Representative should not
Show dictatorial style.
In democracy
Representative should not have
Arrogance of power.
In democracy
Treachery and
Ruthless decisions
Not good.
In democracy
The representatives
Should be sensitives
Towards sensitive issues.
The first and most important is to emphasize the enduring nature of the alliance relationship particularly with Europe which does share our values and interests even if it disagrees with us on specific policies.
Get Ethnic
(rap:)
Lying here in the sun just trying to get a tan
Trying to find a look to go with the plan
Everyones different
Everyones go their thing
Spinman give me a rhythm...swing, swing
You dont have to dance alone
You get on the floor and make yourself at home
Do anything you want to do
Its alright... its all up to you
(ethnic chorus):
It doesnt matter what skin youre in
Baby let the groove begin
Get ethnic...all day
Get ethnic...all night
gonna chill and ride the day out
People let me tell you what its all about
Get ethnic...all day
Get ethnic...all night long
(talk):
Walk my way!!!
Talk my way!!!
This is a new direction
Were gonna take it to the street
Spinman throw down a funky beat
Ooh sweet
Dont really care where you come from
You may move to a different drum
Jump right in and take you place
Were all part of the human race
(ethnic chorus):
Like you mama do
And your daddy too
Its an attitude
(ethnic chorus x 2):
Everybodys different
And we all have a song to sing
Spinman do your rhythm thing...swing...swing
Spinman do your rhythm thing...swing...swing
(ethnic chorus):
Cmon cmon baby
Smooth me out
Smooth me out
(chant fade).
The Modern Day
I stand up for my pride
I dont wanna be just like anyone
In this world I cannot hide
I must finish what I have begun
Thats the way I play
In the modern day
cause I wanna stay
In the modern day
Got a picture in my mind
Of the way that I wanna be
So I search until I find
The power inside of me
Its another phase
Of the modern day
Gotta face up to this life
Cant let it get the best of me
So I make a sacrifice
If thats the way it has to be
Im doin what I feel is right
Im ready if I need to fight
In the modern way
In the modern day
Gotta face up to this life
Cant let it get the best of me
If I make a sacrifice
Thats the way it has to be
Like a motor in overdrive
I feel good and I feel alive
I got no need to beg or borrow
Got a shortcut to tomorrow
And Im on my way
To the modern day
Got a lot to say
In the modern day
cause I need to stay
In the modern day
In the modern day
Until democracy in effective enthusiastic action fills the vacuum created by the power of modern inventions, we may expect the fascists to increase in power after the war both in the United States and in the world.
The So Called Honorable
For to cling to power or for need of power on most policies they disagree
Between the Government and their Opposition there's does not seem much difference to me
Those out of power verbally attack those in power that is how it's been for years
Who wins or loses the Election should not be cause for joy or tears.
Who is in or out of power I for one do not care
That they do not bring change to my life for the good I am all too aware
Democracy is the best form of Government by many we are told
But the workings of Parliament has not changed from the long gone days of old.
Of the praises of Democratically Elected Governments many feel happy to sing
But in Parliament that Parliamentarians obliged to vote with their own parties does not seem a democratic thing
And that the Party or Parties elected by the majority of the voters makes decisions for everyone
Is hardly true democracy when all is said and done.
The hierarchy refer to Parliamentarins as the honorable a title he or she for life does keep
But such a title for most Politicians makes the word honor seem cheap
Like dysfunctional adolescents in Parliament every day
Supposed to be honorable men and women behave in a most immature way.
Armenian Americans - American Armenians
Oh dear Armenians - you whom
Mother America took to her bosom,
helped so many of you to become
rich and powerful...
if the Turks acknowledge the ethnic cleansing
as we call it now, of so many years ago,
when so many erred -
will that assuage your grief? will that
soothe your soul? Must you ask this
of an America not without its own blemishes
in ethnic cleansing, over a longer term...
when the guilty men have long since met their God;
met His justice and his mercy; who - if some
faiths are to be believed - have been reborn
to live out the fruits of their good deeds and their bad...
yes, it is wrong for Turks to bring injustice to today
and say, we'll only help you if you dropp this call
for 'apology, admission' - from whom to whom?
equally wrong, to demand this of the Turks
who today are blameless of their past...
will admission help them too?
Should Adam forever apologise to Eve,
forever, Eve to Adam, and the serpent, thus, to both?
Koha - you the beautiful, who shone behind
the counter there at Macy's - may we look
into each others' eyes, and drink the future's love?
Last Dollar On Earth
Yeah!
Line up!
Step right this way to see the last dollar on earth
Sign up!
The bus leaves today to see the last dollar on earth
Behold the wonder of the modern age
Displayed resplendent in its gilded cage
Theres not another in the world today,
And you just cant take it with you
All night!
Theres a special tonight about the last dollar on earth
Thats right!
And all the pundits were right about the last dollar on earth
Its always occupied a special space
We keep a guard around it just in case
Many have died to have its fleeting grace,
But you just cant take it with you
Get set!
Only one pint of blood
To see the last dollar on earth
No sweat!
Only one ounce of flesh to touch the last dollar on earth
When we lose exposure in its permanent enclosure
Then you can be sure that well take it on tour
So when it comes to call at your local shopping mall
Though the crowds may be large,
You can put it on your mastercharge
The two most important things that can be done to promote democracy in the world is first, to bring moral clarity back to world affairs and second, to link international policies to the advance of democracy around the globe.
My Own Summer (live)
So this is the last treat of the night coming up right here
This is a song, this is a tour actually, this is the first time we've played this song on tour
I'll spit it out eventually
Anybody like the Deftones?
Got any Deftones' fans in the house?
Put em' up if you are
Let me see you if you know the words to this sh*t and i'll come down and sing it with you
Hey you, big star, guide me when it's over
Hey you, big mood, guide me to shelter
'Cause I'm through, when the two hits the six and it's summer
Cloud, come
Shove
The sun
Aside
I think God is moving his tongue
There's no crowds in the streets
And no sun
In my own summer
You guys feeling that?
Who can help me with this sh*t, can you?
Can you help me with this sh*t?
Stay right here, stay right here
Hey you..
Stay right here
Come on
Yo, yo
What the f*ck is going on?
Yea, bring him over here
Allright bro, we gonna teach these mother f*ckers this sh*t, ok?
You guys gonna help us out right now?
Allright you guys
Chester, when you're ready bud
The shade is a tool, a device, a savior
See, I try
(You better watch out)
And look up
(Where?)
To the sky
(Why?)
But my eyes burn
Cloud, come
Shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove
Shove it
The sun
Aside
Cloud, come
Shove it, shove it, shove it
Shove
Shove it, shove it, shove it
The sun
Shove it, shove it, shove it
Aside
I think God is moving his tongue
There's no crowds in the streets
And no sun
In my own summer
Benediction
My message this evenin
Is simple indeed
Wherever you wander
Whatever your breed
Theres just one thing baby
That comes from above
When push comes to shove
Thank God for self love
Thank him, thank him
God for self love
Thank him, thank him
God for self love
When push comes to shove
Thank God for self love
When livin gets heavy
And hope starts to fade
You just cant continue
That old masquerade
Remember the power that comes from above
When push comes to shove
Thank God for self love
Thank him, thank him
God for self love
Thank him, thank him
God for self love
When push comes to shove
Thank God for self love
