The Color of Absence
A prism
Of diverse colors
Intertwined
In mixed emotions
Released
In light, a burst of magic
In darkness
Shades become lethargic
Absence
Opens white and blue
Magenta, red, and green
Blended
Feelings left unseen
In sadness lost
Dissolved in hues.

So Many
It's so weird!
so many shades of green in my mind!
I fear one, other
I love? Green, gray?
Green, green
green cloudy
clear, I Followed It
My heart is red! And... do not match!
So many shades of....
Could be blue
Gray may be
'm lost in so many colors
Where is my sound To complete this picture?
my colors, my red, my Suffer
My Lord, my North, snow in me
under other color on to me!

For Sympathy
since you married her
not for love but for sympathy
the gods agree
on some consequences
she will stare at you
and she will be nothing but
a ray of white light
you become the prism
to filter her soul
against the sun
your sympathy
shall spread her into
the many colors of
her griefs
soon she will say
that in the prism
where her soul passes through
there was no joy
there was no bliss
there was only this
little piece of happy moments
this pretense
not meant to last
her lifetime in the mask of darkness

Light And Darkness (Wholeness)
light and darkness
cannot survive without
each other....
they draw on each other,
feed on each other,
are formed by each other....
two parts of the same being,
wholeness, and expression....
light and darkness....
we look at life through prisms....
change the prism you're looking through....
from one of hatred to compassion....
all the colors of your world will change!
embrace the darkness, and
search for the light.....
creation, and the Creator,
are within you!
light and darkness....

Choose Your Color
I will paint the walls blue
Blue is calm, blue is power
Blue is the color of tranquility
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the ceiling green
Green is healthy, green is peace
Green makes time move faster
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the floor red
Red is fire, red is danger
Red is the symbol of passion
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the sky purple
Purple is sad, purple is gloomy
Purple is the color of romance
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the tree black
Black is fear, black is death
Black is the symbol of grief
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the street yellow
Yellow is happy, yellow is fresh
Yellow is the color of sunshine
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint the fence orange
orange is wisdom, orange is wealth
Orange is the color of success
Do you see my colors yet?
I will paint everything white
White is good, white is pure
White is the color of faith
Have you seen my colors yet?

A Picture Of Colors
A picture of colors
A purple forest of colors
A balloon of colors
A blue fantasy of colors
This is what our planet should be
A whirlwind of colors
A white world of colors
A resting place of colors
A red hideaway of colors
This is what it should look like
A ‘yes' world of colors
A yellow rainbow of colors
A graced hill of colors
A green meadow of colors
An overflowing basket of colors
An orange bowl of colors
This would be a perfect place
Sorting Our Colors
REMEMBER..!
The day our crayons got
mixed up
we were coloring in our
books
two little girls
sorting through their
colors
red, blue, green, yellow.
Today..!
Once again I sit sorting
our colors
now I sit alone thinking
of you
red, blue, green, yellow
only our colors remain.

Shades Of Love (In The Light)
Light is love
Come after the flames
Illuminate bliss in every eyes
Once it comes, lift life high
Darkness cant even deny
Because love is the light
And truth don't lie
Colors of seven
Spectrum in one
One is only a love
And love is the light
From the highest dark sky pointed by the brightest stars
Rolling on the driest land into the deepest oceans
And light illuminates love on any edges it found
Blessed life we may see but a blessing shine we cant count
Let miracle of love bright
As it delivered by the light
So colors of seven freely fly
So blue when it touches the sky
Kisses on the roses, turn petals red
Yellow shining gold, when it warming the sun
Walking shine in the desert, growing green in every step
Spectrum blended into shines for light shading life
Colors in each of you, color in me
Let our spectrum be one
Only one
One is our love
and love is the light
May forever it brighten our hearts

In Our Black And White World...
in our black and
white world
play me a song
of the rainbow
strum me your
guitar
and let me live
on multicolored
notes
i too shall sing
the colors of
my own world
and you may listen
both of us
shall paint
this black and white world
with the shades
of our hopes
pastel blue
light green
bright red
shining gold.

The Grey Areas: Revised
they think and teach you
that black is black and white is white
that either you are moral or immoral
that either you leave or stay
that either you die or live
that there are only choices of
either/or
they tell you do not do this
do not do that
do only this and that
they prohibit you and tell you
it is for your own good
as though they are gods
and you are the dogs
an old man with bright eyes
asks me to go near him
and he says: try the middle of things
it is not just black or white but
there are shades and shades of choices
in between
in there everything is allowed.
the grey areas. the exceptions. the exemptions.
try them. they are all exciting. like the colors of the rainbow
like the patches of red, and orange and blue and pink
you see, who is telling you that there are no other colors
than black and white?
i am neither good nor bad.
In truth, i am just myself.

In His House Of Standard Things
to make perhaps an impression of what is beautiful
he lets me in his house
he gives me some drinks and he begins to tell me
what indeed is beautiful
he chooses his colors
mostly green with whites embedded like pearls
on blue green seaweeds under a deep blue sea
he chooses the shapes that fit
mostly spherical and embossed
he likes static things like sculptures of the
busts of great men that he adores
light is not as bright as he wants it to be
more of dusks and twilights
for he does need not so much light to make his life visible
he likes the touch of silk and threads
he adores the gentleness of the wind
exquisitely plucked from a dawning breeze
and then after i have seen them all
he asks me to leave
it is a matter of simply having me in
for a showroom
a lecture on what is beautiful
how i wish to be back in that house again
green and white and shades of these two colors
but it is over
and the house has since been flown to the sky
and its doors and windows closed
and the door bell
had since been concealed with a thick wall
and the gate is locked with steel bars
well, for wherever he is
and whether his house was real or not
let me say, (and that i really forgot)
thank you sir
tomorrow, i will build a house of my own
but it will not be green and white
i will choose the pastel orange side of things like the sunset of my life
and some reds and pinks for the love of my life

For The Humanity's Peace
Who knows how do we feel
We are the art lovers we breath feelings
Our strength is the love of the humanity
Our most valuable possession are our emotions
The honesty of the feelings are our wealth
We pour down our feelings upon white papers
We try to draw down our aches.others pain with colors of our emotions
An expression of a happiness or a love and the most the time about others broken smile
Because we are the most people who really care for others pain
We are the artists the peace and humanity lovers
we pour down our emotions to an empty white papers
To write down a poem
To protect others rights we forget our's
Our feelings are our values
And for humanity's peace we do care the most.

After All It Is Not At All Darkness
as you learned what darkness is
in the middle of your grief
and lament
light sometimes comes surprisingly
from the holes of your walls
and you find warmth and colors
pink, and red, and green and blue
in a prism of light
from a slit of your window
and you look out to another world
beyond your walls and
windows
you find
a rainbow, some clouds, evergreen mountains
you find a trail
inviting you for a walk
you feel the cool air
wishing you to breathe
you see a world before you
arms ready to embrace
hands always waiting for you to be caressed
it does not take much to open an eyelid
to wake up and then try this walk of life.

The Fading Of The Day
God in his usual strokes
splashing the colors
from indigo to magenta
to light blue to saffron
paints another day in the
lifetime of
the black canvass of our lives.

The Color of Life (a written picture)
Blue spruce
- in a green garden
Black bird
- above a yellow field
Brown hawk
- against a red canyon
White cloud
- within a blue sky
Purple silouette
- leaning upon an orange dusk
All the colors
of the earth
And all the colors
of those that live therein
Are all the colors
of all of Life.

How Many Shades Of Green
HOW MANY SHADES OF GREEN
How many shades of green
Olive green
Dark green
Light green
Yellow green
How many shades of yellow
Deep yellow
Rose yellow
Sun yellow
Morning light yellow
How many shades of light
How much light
How much Beauty in the world
How much Light-
How much- God.

Soft On My Eyes
Pastel colors, soft and pale
muted for my sight
express a feeling of tranquilness
and so it is I write
of baby blankets,
soft and light.
And pale pink roses
that carress my eyes
and colorful sunsets
in the skies.
Of robin's eggs
in shades of blue
and aqua waters
in a tropical view.
Of soapy bubbles
that burst in air,
leaving their colors
floating somewhere.
Of springtime lilacs
that start out dark
then lighten slowly
to leave a mark
on my memory forever
so pale and sweet,
erasing the intensity of
the colors of heat.

Blind Leading The Blind
Blind leading the blind
I tried to explain colors to a person who could not see
But I found it was too hard for me.
Then a thought came into my mind
To put their feelings into color and rhyme.
The first question I asked is:
WHAT DO YOU FEEL ABOUT “LOVE”?
“I feel like I’m flying high above the sky”
Then I will call that GREEN
For high above the earth, that color is seen.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT
WHEN YOU’RE FEELING “DOWN”?
It’s when I have no one to talk to and no one around.
Then I will call that BROWN.
WHAT ABOUT “SADNESS”?
That is when I lost something that cannot be replaced.
Then I will call that “GREY” for that
Is something which in your heart will stay.
WHAT ABOUT “LAUGHTER”?
That is when my stomach shakes like Jell-O.
Then I will call that emotion “YELLOW”
Then the final question I must ask
WHAT ABOUT GOD?
That is when I am lifted high above
All that I think and feel.
Since GOD is pure, I will call it white
Because he puts your heart and soul into flight.
“ we have enough colors for different emotions
Just like the raindrops that fall into the ocean.
Now the colors no longer have a barrier, because now
It has an emotional carrier.
Emotions and colors go hand in hand, just like the joining
In a wedding band.

Irises, a painting by Vincent van Gogh (Ekphrastic Poetry)
There is an explosion of green life in the light,
This life extrapolates all its emerald green.
This life needs its eternity to be as tight
And as deep as an icy queen needs her own sheen.
And all the colors of the rainbow may be seen
In different amounts to the different shades.
Blue iris is placed in a complex world of green.
Into the flowers’ bed, these flowers are like spades.
They need to reassure, as Pantone may suggest,
This world of mystery, which no longer excites.
With pale neutral yellow tongs, they're in great request,
With neutral yellow thoughts, they please the Queen of White.
Alongside darker colors, neutral things sustain
The balance of thoughts serving as background to pray.
The warm cadmium yellow may exigently drain
The bad spirits and irises keep them away.
Van Gogh used such a small amount of indigo,
While this indigo conveys truthfulness and trust,
But his emerald green was like a piccolo,
And through this emerald his world was readjust.
Using the bright head against the rich blue background,
Van Gogh sent messages writing with his colors.
In ochre's religious fight, he lost his ear's sound
To purify this world, where the thought discolors.
