For Sympathy
since you married her
not for love but for sympathy
the gods agree
on some consequences
she will stare at you
and she will be nothing but
a ray of white light
you become the prism
to filter her soul
against the sun
your sympathy
shall spread her into
the many colors of
her griefs
soon she will say
that in the prism
where her soul passes through
there was no joy
there was no bliss
there was only this
little piece of happy moments
this pretense
not meant to last
her lifetime in the mask of darkness

Darkness And A Rod Of Light
darkness shall part like the legs of a woman
and i shall enter like a strong rod of light
like light i also bring the property of warmth
and you shall filter me like a prism and glass
we see a spreading rainbow of colors
we are amazed in the dance of silence
we dare not think of the magnifications
the usual refractions the optical illusions

I could compare my music to white light which contains all colours. Only a prism can divide the colours and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener.
Light And Darkness (Wholeness)
light and darkness
cannot survive without
each other....
they draw on each other,
feed on each other,
are formed by each other....
two parts of the same being,
wholeness, and expression....
light and darkness....
we look at life through prisms....
change the prism you're looking through....
from one of hatred to compassion....
all the colors of your world will change!
embrace the darkness, and
search for the light.....
creation, and the Creator,
are within you!
light and darkness....

Lend Me The Light
Lend me the light,
From your soul;
Lend me the celestial
Spark, to get into the
Heaven's heart.
Bask me under the
Heavenly glow of
Love, to learn the
Lesson of Humanity.
Let me be a prism
To separate that
Light into spectrum
Of colors to tinge,
The faded souls
Help them back to
The brighter life!

Accept my sympathy
In all sincerity
It is a pathetic pity
I merely offer sympathy
With such velocity
This sadness born out of the blue
That decides to levy itself on you
In your fixed stillness
I sense your illness
Accept my sympathy
You lost a pet
Somebody made you upset
Accept my sympathy
You lost a friend
Your broken heart is yet to mend
Accept my sympathy
You were once abused
Possibly at times wrongly accused
Accept my sympathy
You marriage is on the rocks
You got divorced, left without a buck
Accept my sympathy
You lost a fortune
Your voice can't sing a decent tune
Accept my sympathy
You lost in love or lost your job
Or perhaps at one stage got robbed
Accept my sympathy
Your life is a mess
Everything around you depresses
Whatever the circumstances
Accept my sympathy
And if I happen to show no sympathy
Please accept my sympathy!

Love's Colors
Love's colors are not all just black and white
The color of love, different to all
The prism of color is best in fall
They can be seen even in the dark night
See what you wish, red, pink, yellow or grey
Bask in its light, it will make you quite warm
It comes in all shapes and takes any form
Choose one you love best, and ask it to stay
Love's color is soft violet to me
I've only seen it twice in my long life
It's the soft color I see around thee
Both times I made that color my dear wife
I'm alone again and I do feel free
I cut out love's colors, and stopped the strife

Would You... (Open The Door)
if i set fire to my heart,
would you see the flames...
and stop, a stranger in the night,
to warm your soul?
if i broke the glass of my dreams,
would you pick up the pieces...
would the light shining on them,
become the prism of your thoughts?
and if i shed my leaves,
would you say farewell to the swallows...
and rake in the stillness, waiting on snow?
if my silence shouted...
would you hear... would you hear?
if i took off my mask,
would you open the door?

The Color of Absence
A prism
Of diverse colors
Intertwined
In mixed emotions
Released
In light, a burst of magic
In darkness
Shades become lethargic
Absence
Opens white and blue
Magenta, red, and green
Blended
Feelings left unseen
In sadness lost
Dissolved in hues.

Sympathy
So you've seen the sunrise on the Nile
solved the mystery of the mona lisa's smile
you proclaim your innocence
what you saying
makes no sense to me at all
So you help the needy and the sick
heard confessions of a lunatic
my eyes are growing dim
ghost shadows closing in
around me now
and there ain't no sympathy at all
just a sea of angry faces
staring at me
there ain't no sympathy at all
I gotta find someone
to make me happy
so you've scattered roses at Versailles
wiped a teardrop from an old man's eye
seeing you in such distress
I'm afraid I must confess
that boys don't cry
and there ain't no sympathy at all
just a sea of angry faces
staring at me
there ain't no sympathy at all
I gotta find someone
to make me happy
Solo
and there ain't no sympathy at all
just a sea of angry faces
staring at me
there ain't no sympathy at all
I gotta find someone,
gotta find someone,
gotta find someone

Prism of Winter
The sun begins to slowly rise
Into the soft pastel colors of morning
A beautiful sunrise starts a story of winter
Beginning with the sun spreading it's rays of light
The snow is starting to fall in the light of the sun
Falling as light as soft white feathers
Spreading through the bright glow from the sun
An enormous arch spreads through the sky with many colors
This colorful arch adds a beautiful scene to the sky
A rainbow called the Prism of Winter

Sympathy
(mark ashton, graham stansfield, david kaffinetti, stephen gould)
Now when you climb into your bed tonight
And when you lock and bolt the door
Just think about those out in the cold and dark
cause theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love to go round
And sympathy is what we need my friends
And sympathy is what we need
And sympathy is what we need my friends
cause theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love to go round
Now half the world hates the other half
And half the world has all the food
And half the world lies down and quietly starves
cause theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love to go round
And sympathy is what we need my friends
And sympathy is what we need
And sympathy is what we need my friends
cause theres not enough love to go round
No theres not enough love
No theres not enough love to go round

Metal
Listening to the love songs on the radio
I stare at the little blade of cheap metal
It can do so much damage
My scars you can see
Yet it's the only one I can turn to
Knows all my pain
Knows my broken heart
And the taste of crimson blood
The pain it causes is welcome
Over the pain they cause
My little friend knows me,
My soul, and eats it up
Sometimes I get smart and don't look
At my little blade, my friend
But I'm so predictable, it loves me
And I hate my need for that little piece of metal
Its sympathy cuts so deep
Body and soul it slices through
And though I hate that thing,
It's my only happiness

Is A Prism!
when 'We The People'
goes from concept to reality,
then, and only then,
can real change be created!
unity in diversity!
freedom is a prism,
shine your light on it,
and bask in all
its different colors!

Daughters (Anabella and Brittany)
She is my light
Both wave and particle
Though a rainbow betrays
Her myriad colors
No prism exists to
Penetrate her sun
Clouds part
As she awakens

Sympathy
I don't want nothing
Cause nothing's all you give
I don't need your touch
That could be too much for me
I don't want your lies
Burning deep inside of me
Look into my eyes
I don't want your sympathy
Should've known it was over
Can we still bring back before
As the love is certainly colder
You don't need me any more
Now nothing lasts forever like I said before
I don't want your sympathy no more
I don't want my love
It's been misunderstood
So I think I'm giving up
I can never give it up fair way
I don't want your lies
Burning deep inside of me
Look into my eyes
I don't want your sympathy
I don't want your sympathy
I don't need you here with me
I don't want your sympathy
I can't take it anymore
Because I'm hurt enough before

Tao (Social Activism)
the Tao of social activism,
found in the newborn baby's cry.
in the hands that plow the earth,
that build, shape, and mold.
in the colors of the prism,
dividing light stream by stream.
in the raw and beating heart,
and the red blood pulsing.
in the day that follows darkness
without thought or plan.
in the breath inhaled and exhaled,
in the hand that fits in mine!

Kiss You Again
Laughing, singing, dancing, enjoying life,
thanks for being so sweet and kind and
brilliant and shiny and inspiring, you are
a bright light unto me, thanks for contri-
buting to my passionate delight with life
Thanks for eternal moments of infinite
love, moments I relive in my life every
time I dance in the sun and sing with
the wind, pure light without spectral
lines, you became a godly being
In the prism of my mind, a pure golden
light of divine inspiration – come, let
me kiss you again…

Shades Of Love (In The Light)
Light is love
Come after the flames
Illuminate bliss in every eyes
Once it comes, lift life high
Darkness cant even deny
Because love is the light
And truth don't lie
Colors of seven
Spectrum in one
One is only a love
And love is the light
From the highest dark sky pointed by the brightest stars
Rolling on the driest land into the deepest oceans
And light illuminates love on any edges it found
Blessed life we may see but a blessing shine we cant count
Let miracle of love bright
As it delivered by the light
So colors of seven freely fly
So blue when it touches the sky
Kisses on the roses, turn petals red
Yellow shining gold, when it warming the sun
Walking shine in the desert, growing green in every step
Spectrum blended into shines for light shading life
Colors in each of you, color in me
Let our spectrum be one
Only one
One is our love
and love is the light
May forever it brighten our hearts
