Emotional Surgery
Choices cut, but like scalpel
Are needed to bring healing
To make the blinded person well
And clarify his thinking.
For Love like cataracts gray
Truth to make them white,
For 'Love is blind' they all say
And lovers lose their sight.
Not able then to see control
And sheer manipulations,
Repeatedly they make the fall
To masquerading passions.
With pain, this cut I must make
In deep emotional surgery-
Pretentious 'love' I must forsake
And from you I must be free.

Little More Love
(John Farrar)
Night is draggin' her feet
I wait alone in the heat
I know , know that you'll have your way
Till you have to go home
"No's" a word I can't say
'Cos it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Where, where did my innocence go
How, how was a young girl to know
I'm trapped, trapped in the spell of your eyes
In the warmth of your arms
In the web of your lies
But it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
It gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right

I Hate You Then I Love You
Id like to run away from you
But if I were to leave you I would die
Id like to break the chains you put
Around me
And yet Ill never try
No matter what you do you drive me
Crazy
Id rather be alone
But then I know my life would be so
Empty
As soon as you were gone
Impossible to live with you
But I could never live without you
For whatever you do / for whatever you
Do
I never, never, never
Want to be in love with anyone but you
You make me sad
You make me strong
You make me mad
You make me long for you / you make
Me long for you
You make me live
You make me die
You make me laugh
You make me cry for you / you make me
Cry for you
I hate you
Then I love you
Then I love you
Then I hate you
Then I love you more
For whatever you do
I never, never, never
Want to be in love with anyone but you
You treat me wrong
You treat me right
You let me be
You make me fight with you / I could
Never live without you
You make me high
You bring me down
You set me free
You hold me bound to you
I hate you
Then I love you
Then I love you
Then I hate you
Then I love you more / I love you more
For whatever you do / for whatever you
Do
I never, never, never
Want to be in love with anyone but you
I never, never, never
I never, never, never
I never, never, never
Want to be in love with anyone but you
But you

Love At First Sight
See the lovers all gone crazy
Looking for romance it seems
Many sleepless nights will follow
Some may lose but some succeed
Love at first sight
What they want is...
Love at first sight
Make a play of lust intention
Only just one thing in mind
Make a slip could be forever
Wedding bells, the shotgun kind
Love at first sight
What they want is...
Love at first sight
Mouse takes the bait
So soon as he leaves his seat
Theres no escape, very soon their eyes will meet
Love at first sight etc.
Take your partner to surrender
Then your misdemeanours done
Sacrifice of maidenhood
But little boys must have their fun
Love at first sight.

Pain
Pain—sharpen but yet dull and painless.
So numb to the pain given to my body that instead of rejecting it, my heart automatically accepts the pain.
Like medicine to the soul, pain seems to be my healer.
Pain seems to bring together life and death.
Pain seems to soothe the soul because without Pain I would be weak: timid: short: and unfulfilled.
You see pain is needed to make a person stronger.
Pain is needed to make a person un-afraid of hurt.
Pain is needed to make a person stand up, be proud and walk tall because they are more certain of the future.
Pain is needed to make one feel more fulfilled.
All because of these feelings my heart becomes full but it brings me back to the root cause: PAIN.
This 4 letter word causes hearts to be crushed relentlessly. It dishevels emotions once grounded and bruises egos. Pain.
Pain. My painkiller.
Pain. My happy endings.
Pain. My way out.
Pain. My life.

Make Me
Tell me why after all this time is the light hiding in your eyes
Do I see promises never made or is it just a sweet surprise
(chorus)
Make me high ~ make me low
Make it stop or come on let the damn thing go
I am hanging on your heart
Make me love or fall apart
Come on make me
Talk to me tell me now tell me true
Tell me what you wanna do
Are we gonna go on one by one or do we go two by two
(chorus)
I need a place to lay my head
And take your wine onto my tongue
Pick me up and shake me shake me down
I need your heart to hear my song
Hold me now ~ see by me
Or let me go ~ open up your hand and set me free
Like a dandelion ~ like a hitcher on the wind
Set me free again set me free again
Set me free free free again
(chorus)
Make me fly ~ make me fall
Make me everything or make me nothing at all
I am hanging on your heart
Make me love or fall apart
Come on make me

Who Let In The Rain
Things like this
can always take a little time
I always thought
we'd be together down the line
we start to fight
and can't get over what was said
'cause you see black and white
and I see red
And I wonder who let in the rain
you know without you
I'm not the same
when love gets strong
people get weak
sometimes they lose control
and wind up in too deep
they fall like rain
who let in the rain
I make the bed and cover
where you used to sleep
I'm smoothing over promises
made in these sheets
I envy lovers passing by
out on the street
'cause what they have
I couldn't keep
And I wonder who let in the rain
you know without you
I'm not the same
when love gets strong
people get weak
sometimes they lose control
and wind up in too deep
they fall like rain
who let in the rain.

Make It Right
(r. lawrence/c. bernard/s. benson)
(make it right)
(make it right)
Youve been on my mind
cause the last words I said
Felt so wrong ,so unkind
No ones to blame
But somewhere along the way
I know that somethings changed
What was said
And what was done
Is not the way of love
Just look what weve become
Chorus:
Feel me touch you tenderly
Im makin an apology
Please hold me close tonight
(make it right)
Can we try to love once more
And make it like it was before
I need you by my side
(make it right)
(make it right)
As we close our eyes
Can you hear me prayin
How can lovers be so blind
It hurts me so, just dont know
That we could fall again
Help me understand
Can we forgive
Can we compromise
Just believe that we can
Leave it all behind
We can get to where
We feel good inside
Open up our hearts
And keep this love alive
Chorus
(make it right)
(make it right)
Ooh make it right for me, babe
(make it right)
(are we gonna) make it right
(we can see it) see it in our eyes
(can we do it) do you wanna try
(dont you know I)
Ill always love you, baby
(give a listen)
Listen to the words Im sayin
(tell you that its)
Its only love were makin
(all you gotta) ooh
Chorus
(make it right)
Im touchin you so tenderly
(please hold me close tonight)
Never let me go (make it right)
Can we try to love once more
And make it like it was before
I need you by my side
(make it right)

Make it right

First Love is You
It is never wrong to love someone else;
But make sure your first love is you.
You can buy your lover a gift that is cool.
But make sure you also buy something just for you.
You can whisper sweet words in your lovers' ear.
But make sure you tell yourself you are beautiful every time you look in the mirror.
I know when you love someone else you sometimes lose yourself.
And there is nothing wrong with love someone else;
But make sure your first love is you.
The First Time We Fall In Love
How well I remember my very first love affair.
Those juvenile fantasies and innocent dreams we shared.
But we're too blind to realize that we are totally unprepared
For the first time we fall in love.
We think it's forever, the first time we fall in love.
We always treasure the first time we fall in love.
Those other romances come and go,
But we cherish the memory of
The first time we fall in love.
First love can be such a strain.
It can rule your head, it can bring you pain,
And when it ends it seems such a shame.
The first time we fall in love,
Can make you sad, it can keep you awake,
It can drive you mad.
People say you're too young and it's only a fad
The first time we fall in love.
The first time we fall in love.
The first time I fell out of love, it knocked me through the floor.
My world came crashing down, it shook me to the core.
I was unprepared 'cos I was only a kid
And I was much too young and I wasn't equipped
For the emotional pressures and stresses of it.
But oh, I'll never forget
The way that she looked the first time we met.
Time goes by but we never forget
The first time we fall in love.
Love can be exciting, it can be a bloody bore.
Love can be a pleasure or nothing but a chore.
Love can be like a dull routine,
It can run you around till you're out of steam.
It can treat you well, it can treat you mean,
Love can mess you around,
I can pick you up, it can bring you down.
But they'll never know
The feelings we show
The first time we fall in love.
The first time we fall in love.

Give Love Another Try
After all pain and suffer you been put tooo
Give love another try
I promise you that I won't let you fall down
Take my hand and take this chances while we can
I will make you feel special, happy and smile again
Make our wishes come true
God bless the broken road and
Lead us into each other
Please stand back up on your feet and
Give love another try
You will miss all good times
You will have with me because of past
You shouldn't let this get to you too much
You making yourself all sad and miserable
It's time to let it go
That person was jerk for doing that to you
Deep inside I know you're a great person that I want to love
Don't lose your chance to be with me
Because you will regret this for rest of your life
You will keep wonder
I know what's like from my experience
I miss on a great person
I don't want to get hurt from him or any other guy so
Give love another try

You Cant Make A Heart Love Somebody
At a table for two
With candlelight and wine
That diamond burnin holes in his pockets
Thinkin nows the perfect time
When he popped the question he could see
The teardrops fill her eyes
She said I knew this was comin, and Im sorry
But I hope you realize
Chorus: you cant make a heart love somebody,
You can tell it what to do
But it wont listen at all
You cant make a heart love somebody
You can lead a heart to love
But you cant make it fall.
Then she reached for his hand
And said I want you to know
Ive done everything that I know of
To make the feelin grow
Ive begged and Ive pleaded with my heart
But theres no gettin through
My hearts the only part of me
Thats not in love with you
You cant make a heart love somebody,
You can tell it what to do
But it wont listen at all
You cant make a heart love somebody
You can lead a heart to love
But you cant make it fall.
You cant make a heart love somebody,
You can tell it what to do
But it wont listen at all
You cant make a heart love somebody
You can lead a heart to love
But you cant make it fall.
You can lead a heart to love
But you cant make it fall.

Hidden Message
I give up,
not on love,
but this love,
i have for you.
Love has no bounds,
but just leaves me,
falling to the ground,
sheading many tears.
Only you,
could make me,
fall so hard,
that i shatter.
Very few people,
can feel true love,
and many people,
go chasing love.
Every morning,
I wake with a smile,
just because,
i'm thinking of you.
You are different,
When i try to let go,
smething's pulling me,
saying no.
Oh why me,
why did i have to fall,
why can't love be simple,
like the a b c's?
Underneath that,
person others see,
is a guy who really cares,
that only i've seen.
Every second,
seems like a year,
when we're far apart,
i need you here.
Going through this,
i now see,
that maybe i was,
meant to fall.
Any way you see it,
it'll always be there,
so to lose this love,
i must lose you first.
Many days,
i've tried to,
get over you,
but yet i failed.
More and more,
you're on my mind,
i can't seem to,
let you go.

Birds To Fly
A day,
a love,
a smile,
a wink.
You make me smile,
you make me cry,
you make me laugh,
you make me get by.
I feel love at the sight,
I get lost in those eyes,
I feel pain knowing there's no 'we, '
I get lost by your words of love.
You make my day,
you always have,
you make my tears,
you make them hurt.
I love the way you smile,
I love the way you laugh,
I love the way you look at me,
I love the way you act.
You're like the stars in the sky's,
You're like the reflection on the water,
You're like the wings for birds to fly,
You're like the rays from the sun.

In The Afternoon
The light is fading in the afternoon
Wont you see me baby in my room
Theres something that I wanna say to you
Tell me baby am I getting through
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
In the afternoon, in the afternoon
The light is fading from across the way
I see you coming baby every day
I see you running, running from across the field
And I wanna know if you can feel the same as me
Cause I wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
In the afternoon, in the afternoon
The wind is howling baby outside the shack
Train whistle blowin from across the track
Get on my wavelength, and you set me free
I just wanna be everything you want me to be
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
In the afternoon, in the afternoon
The moon is sinking way across the trees
I can see my baby but she cant see me
Ive got a longing deep within my soul
I have to take it there and let it roll
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
Wanna make, wanna make, wanna make, wanna make
Love to you
In the afternoon, make love in the afternoon
Make love in the afternoon
Let it roll
You got me reelin and a-rockinand rollin again
Let it roll
You got me reelin and a-rockinand rollin and rollin again
Oh, Im rollin and tumblin, and Im rollin and tumblin
And Im talkin all outta my mind baby
Let it roll
You got me reelin and a-rockin
And Im talkin all outta my mind
Im talkin all outta my mind
Make love in the afternoon
Make love in the afternoon
Make love in the afternoon

Little L
There you were freaking out,
Trying to get your head around the fact that me and you and love is dead
See how Im trippin out
cos you cant decide what you really want from me
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
There you were shouting out
Cranking up your altercations, getting upset in your desperation
Screaming and hollering
How could this love become so paper thin?
Youre playing so hard to get
Youre making me sweat just to hold your attention
I cant give you nothing more
If you aint givin nothing to me
Dont you know that
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
Seems like youre stepping on the pieces
Of my broken shell
cos you make me love you, love you
With a little l, you know
Thats the way you make me love you, yeah
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby
With a little l
Why does it have to be like this?
I can never tell
You make me love you, love you baby

Don't Make Me Come Over There And Love You
Don't make me come over there and love you I'd be beside you in a single bound.
Don't make me come over there and love you, 'cause I will, right now
I don't need any explanation for why I crave all your honey talk.
Don't make me come over there and love you, 'cause it's a short walk.
You better tone down your persuasion. Start behavin', before I go and fall apart.
My heart's been on a long vacation, but now it's beatin like a cha-cha-cha.
Don't make me come over there and love you, 'cause I will, right now.
(Music Break)
You better tone down your persuasion. Start behavin', before I go and fall apart.
Don't make me come over there and love you, because it's lookin' like a perfect spot.
Don't make me come over there and love you and give all I got.
Don't make me come over there and love you, 'cause I will, right now,
yes, I will, right now.

Her...
I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if i'd,
make her my own,
and never let her go,
hug her tight,
treat her right,
act all polite,
take her on a date,
make sure i'm never late,
kiss her on her lips,
talk about our kids,
Make her feel like princess,
living in a castle,
hope that is not too much hassle,
But i am so blessed,
hope i can be the best,
hold you tight,
have your BR3A$t,
on my chest,
pass the test,
NOW YOUR MINE!
