Think About It
I reflect on years past.
Knowing I did try.
I did my best.
I made my mistakes.
And learned from them.
I tried to right the wrongs of my past.
I tried to become the best person I could be.
Not for me though.
For someone I love.
You look as if I said something wrong.
Why is that?
You're a Christian?
I should put myself first?
Where does it say that in the bible?
Oh, mine must be missing that chapter.
I know,
It's called the book of You.
I don't know where it fits in exactly.
But I'm sure You do.
You know everything.
Self before others.
Make God right with Yourself.
Serve others, if the money is good enough.
So if I ask You what the meaning of life is,
You can tell me?
I Love Your Christian talk.
I Love Your Christian walk.
Or should I say strut.
You read the bible?
Well I read you, like a book.
You are about as transparent as a window.
I see through you completely.
Can you see me through your window?
Oh wait.
You are looking into a mirror.
What is the truth?
Your truth, my truth or His truth?
Is God's love tough love?
Or is it us that makes it tough?
My bible is in black and white.
You must have the gray version.
Take the easy way out.
You are only hurting yourself.
Turn the other cheek.
Did Jesus climb off the cross when it hurt too much?
Would You have told him too?
Would You say it's not worth it to him?
Or are You glad He said, “It is done.”?

I love Thee in the sky,
After long, hot summer days,
Like to run through the fields,
When they've finished makin' hay.
I love meeting people,
I've never met before.
And I like it when my friends,

Armchair Christian
All hail the Armchair Christian!
Pointing out the wrongs of others,
One sin at a time.
Fighting the spiritual battle,
From the comfort of your living room.
Your God is tailor made.
He fits you like a fine custom suit.
You could live a life that's abundant.
You choose to live one that is redundant.
To serve is what you expect from others.
You wear a cloak of self-righteousness.
You can do no wrong Armchair Christian.
You were given the special pass.
Your keenness can detect sin from a mile away.
It's is easy for you.
For you are spotless.
Throwing around scripture like an actor performing on stage.
Saying the lines you feel define the story.
Skipping the scenes you feel do not.
If God needed an Editor for the bible,

Purely Metaphysical-Letters to a Consciousness Waiting in Waste Letter X
Suffering made a brief visit in my life early this morning.
Instead of finding you last night I was found by another. She would not compete.
However mistakes had to be made in order for me to grow to the next realisation of truth.
Truth that I love you and no other.

Speaking Against ‘ Da Vinci Code’
What Jesus did until thirty
Years, isn’t mentioned in the Bible;
For next three years, he traveled wide,
To preach the Word of God’s Kingdom.
A busy man, a Master too –
With flock of Apostles behind:
He preached through parables to all,
And earned good respect ’midst people.
He spoke in parables;
He performed miracles;
His wisdom was so great,
That Pharisees did hate!
Yet, all the while, He knew His end!
A painful death on Holy Cross –
For sins of entire mankind;
He had His Father’s cause always!
Oh, what a sad life for young Christ!
His eyes revealed divine love first;
He had no time for romance, love;
His Father’s work was duty prime!
Like a man who knew His end was near,
He walked about praying, with fear;
He fasted often- bible tells;
Some laid snares to entrap Jesus.
Which doctor marries his patient?
Which lawyer weds his own client?
Do teachers marry own pupils?
These are’nt so common-place at all!
To say that Jesus was in love
With Mary Magdalene, that too,
Who was a known harlot those days:
Amounts to only blasphemy!
To speak wrong things about the Lord,
To lie about his personal life,
To misinterpret Bible’s words –
Are sins that God cannot forgive!
To slander about Christ’s conduct,
To spread false stories about him,
To hurt a Christian’s faith, beliefs –
Is but a work of Anti-Christ!
Yes, Satan trys his level-best
To bring a slur on Christ’s image;
But Prophecies will happen true;
God’s Words are words of truth always!
No Christian cares for Vinci code;
God knows to annul extreme lies;
Lord Jesus who won o’er satan
Was not an ordinary man!
His aim in life was Redemption
For mankind’s sins by death on cross;
The thought sometimes troubled his mind;
He prayed to Father for new strength!

I Want to Be True
I don't want to be clever or witty or wise
I just want to be true.
Truth?
Truth was us when, inside me, you looked into my eyes and found my love,
Truth was us when we laughed and played,
Truth was us when you cared too much for me to make love to me,
Truth was us, when knowing me, you were brave in your words and helped me be true.

Truth was your tenderness, your joy, your heart.

no matter how much you think you want or need it, the past has to remain just that, the past...

Truth That Sets You Free
Words expressed to you and me, that the truth will set you free,
Not simply truth of any kind, but, Truth which leaves sin behind,
The Truth spoken of is Him; The One Who saves many from sin,
The Truth available to all of us, is the Lord Himself, Christ Jesus.
Friend in the Bible you shall find, God's Truth of an Eternal kind,
Truth that is beyond the world, Truth which Jesus Christ unfurled,
A Truth that's meant for everyone, coming from God's Only Son,
His Truth, which sets men free, from the present through eternity.
Common truths known on earth, for man, are of no eternal worth,
All common truths known to man, access not God's eternal plan,
They are better than lies for us, but, have not His Righteousness,
Common truth won't get us to, Eternity, prepared for me and you.
The only Saving truth, in this life, is Truth, in the person of Christ,
God's saving Truth all men need, His Gospel Truth all must heed;
Common truth will not set you free, or give you new life eternally,
For man's word shall fade away, but, God's Truth is here to stay.
The Saving Truth, you have heard, is there for all in God's Word,
The Way, the Truth and the Life, is the Living Word, Jesus Christ,
Whose Word comes from eternity, Truth, that saves you and me,
Reading His Word reveals proof, He's the author of Eternal Truth.
Christian soldier
The Christian Soldier,
The Christian soldier goes to fight, a war on evil, every day and night,
Fighting for what the Lord God says. Is only right, with all their might;
They fight the enemy, for peace and truth, yet they are so brave,
And Jesus showed why we go, when He died our souls to save.
The Christian soldier has his armor, his breast plate, and His helmet too,
Then comes feet shod with the preparation of peace, this is True
Truth and Mercy are on the soldiers side, for the enemies destruction,
And with it comes the sword of God, and we're safe under Gods redemption.
The Christian Soldier, those, who have been washed and bought with a price,
The price of the lamb, And we'll win the war, against the enemy who isn't nice;
We have the Words of Christ, bestowed on us, promises from above,

I Am What I Am
My life has become what it is by God's Grace and His Grace all alone,
For God chose me and sought me out, to make me one of His very own.
He provided in my life a witness through my wife of what I could be,
Though they were once darkened, through my eyes, His Grace I can see.
Because I never read it, I knew not the Truths in the Bible at all,
And that I was a sinner destined for Hell because of Adam's fall.
I was taught to believe that there was a God in the heavens up above,
But never was I told about God's Grace, Mercy and His Abundant Love.
I thought that my living a good life down on earth was simply enough,
For me to go into heaven when I died, to be with The Lord up above.
When I realized it was not me at all but only the Blood of The Cross,
The Lord filled me with His desire to share the Gospel with the lost.
When I began, the one thing that I lacked was the boldness to share,
The Eternal Truth of how The Lord loved me and how much He did care.
As I read the Bible, my first example was John the Baptist for sure,
When speaking of Jesus, he said, “I must be less so He can be more.”
This then filled me with The Lord's boldness and a new Eternal sight,
And with my eyes now on Eternity, Jesus became the center of my life.
I can truly say as the Apostle Paul did and with the same humble nod,
Today I am what I am, truly and only by the Grace of Almighty God.

Christian Poetry II
Christian Poetry is a very funny thing,
You never know what is going to be liked,
Should I leave it like this or make a change?
That’s wrong, on second thought it does sound right,
Religion is an especially touchy subject,
With so many different spiritual & academic views,
Over a hundred worship sites in Cleveland alone,
Then there are God’s chosen people, AKA the Jews.
Jesus was, no not really, had a child, and say’s who?
Mary Magdalene is not whom He was married to,
Made millions of bucks from the movie and book,
Do I really need to take a second look?
Of course I don’t because that’s not my faith,
I refuse to stand in line and wait,
To see a flick I know to be totally untrue,
If you want to believe that stuff it's up to you.
Just remember that on Judgment Day,
It’s either two thumbs up or down,
The second coming of Christ will only be one way,
This time Jesus won’t be here to play around.
I hope for your sake God is still in the mood to forgive,
A burning lake of fire is not where you want to live,
The first reading of the bible makes sense to no one friend,
That’s why you have to read it again, again and again.
Who goes from kindergarten to grade 12 in a year?
Same with 4 years of college, graduate school then a PhD?
That does not sound like anyone I know,
And for sure it definitely is not me.
It’s a gift to be able in rhyme to write,
Causing Christians the world over to unite,
This is the only known sure bet,
It would never be possible without the Internet.
Like it or not there will soon be an ending,
That’s OK; it’s only a book that said you had to believe,
Hope you don’t have any fences that need mending,
Your reward? Just be prepared to receive.
God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit is not a panel,
You will not be able switch to another channel,
Unlike American Idol the public does not vote,
Pick up the bible instead of your remote.

CHRISTIAN SOLDIER'S LOVE POEM
Darling I love you with all of my heart and soul
Much more than any of God's blessings on Earth.
It's hard to believe Heaven planned it this way
For your love for me is far beyond my worth.
Life would be meaningless without your love
With no one to cherish, honor, protect and provide.
I treasure our moments and all that we share
You're always my angel of love, at my side.
I love how you love me beyond all compare

The dove of truth is sitting in our garden
