Apocalypse

Reading the signs of a coming storm
Devastation as written in Destiny
Clouds of War starting to form
Ushering the demise of Humanity.

Listen and listen well to this
There is no turning back of pages,
Watch carefully so as not to miss
What was prophesied through the ages.

When men, on their foreheads have been marked
Or on their hands, the marketing code -
Then this confirms no idle remark
What has been written, what was forebode.

Fail not to seek the right Choices
Stand up for whatever has been True
Men were made free to speak with voices
Be human, not robots, all their lives through!

There Is A Voice

Written by JoJo Bean and David Harris

There is a voice in every form
A song in every breeze
Just listen to the thunderous storm
The wind that whistles in the trees

Or have you heard the oceans cry
And the hush of a bird on wing
Happiness in the morning dawn
And sadness that the end of day brings

Listen with your senses
At the voices all around
And hear about our world
Through the voices of its song

Learn to listen
With your mind’s eye
Whenever you watch a small bird
Wing its way across the sky

LISTEN

Listen
Listen more carefully
Hear your own inner sounds
Wait for the music
Listen
The poem is being written within you
It does not know your name
Or any name
But listen
Let its rhythm come
It needs not be anything any other poem has been before
Listen
Its your poem
Now
Listen listen listen
And write it slowly down.

Wisdom Of The Ages

(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
Listen, to the wisdom of the ages
Listen, to the words of many sages
Live each day, as if it were your last
Its written in the stars, your destiny is cast
And that hourglass, runs too fast no doubt
For the sands of time are running out
Listen, to the wisdom of the ages
These words, can be found in historys pages
Live each day, for happiness cant wait
And love while you may, but heed the hand of fate
If the finger points, its too late no doubt
For the sands of time, are running out
But the man who turns, and escapes somehow
Is the wisest of men
And to such a man, Id bow

Cycle Unbroken

Walking in circles, never ending
This world is so messed up, crazy
Surely a disasters impending
But everything I see is hazy

According to you everything’s perfect
You walk forward, don’t look, never stopping
Never seeing and never do you suspect
Out of sanity, this world is dropping

Listen, the children are singing
Of this worlds loss, sorrow, pain
You are deaf to their voices, over the ringing
But watch them stand tall, in this deathly rain

This sinister cycle must end soon
Before this sun sets over the sea
Before the night marked by the rising moon
End this cycle and set the oppressed free

But to do that you must listen
Listen to the caged and listen to me
To make this hazy world glisten
You must see this world as it should be.

Pages

Written by dewey bunnell and gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
In this bookcase full of stories
You find some of them are true
Tales of love and glory
Many lives of daring-do
There is mystery and adventure
They lie waiting there for you
So step inside and find the other you
Take the high road tomorrow
But the low road today
Reading others sorrow
Might just be the only way
The father hears confession
While the mothers feeling blue
These characters do what you want them to
In these pages we consume
Lives in many colors lovers in full bloom
And through the ages words are born
Speaking to the senses lifting the forlorn
Theres glamour and dementia
A message from the tomb
Staircase to the heavens
And secrets in the room
When you are riding on that dark horse
To the one that got away
Theres no regrets and no dues left to pay
cause in these pages we consume
Lives in many colors lovers in full bloom
And through the ages words are born
Speaking to the senses lifting the forlorn
Drifting down the river of the make believe
We laugh and grieve
Hoping for an ending of our own design
Where all is fine
In these pages we consume
Lives in many colors lovers in full bloom
And through the ages words are born
Speaking to the senses lifting the forlorn
In these pages we consume
Lives in many colors lovers in full bloom
And through the ages words are born... (fade)

Please, Listen ………….

Listen to the music, coming from above,
Listen to the voices, to the words of love.

Listen to the lyric, whispered in our dreams,
Listen to the answers, from our dears.

Listen, with much care !
May be..a meaning will appear!

Notes From Freedom's Heart

i spend a lot of my time writing
about freedom, dignity, and equality....
using a lot of different forms, just
trying to be heard....
but i've come to the understanding
that whether i write it, sing i, play it
on guitar, paint it, dance it, or write
it on signs and march it.....
doesnt matter!
what matters is whether i live it!

when i can look into another human being's
eyes and not see color, gender, religious
or political idealogies, or sexual preference...
when i know that their mistakes and failures
are my own... that there is no difference
between us... that we have the same needs
and desires... and that we need each other.....

when i'm willing to listen, to offer a hand up, willing
to work and walk beside of (not in front of!) ....

when my thoughts, words, and actions reflect a deep
reverence and respect for all that lives....
when my choices validate humanity.....

when i can see without judging... when i'm
willing to speak the truth at all costs....
to give all that i have, and all that i am,
regardless of the risk....
when my own life matters less to me than
the lives of those i come in contact with....
when i'm willing to stand up for what's right,
for compassion, and for hope... even if it
costs me my own life....

then, and only then, i will have become
the poem i've tried all of my life to write...
then and only then, i will have become
fully human.... and will have answered the call
that we all have....

will i continue to write? yes!
but day by day, moment by moment....
i'll keep working!
will you join me?

The Author Of My Life

My God has penned the pages that told of my first breath
and has carefully written the paragraph depicting my death.
Then by grace the myriads of paragraphs between
are the pages which record my life on this earthly scene

For the God and author of all human history
has chosen to weave my name into its' tapestry.
Carefully mapping out my life well before my birth
and then He chose to walk with me each day on earth.

Stop Look & Listen

I was walking down the street
Just the other day
I caught a glimpse
Of life vivid reality
I saw a man on the street
Had no clothes or shoes
These are signs of the times
Thats what they say
Everybody better
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
The prophets of the times
Are written on street car walls
Cant you see them crying
Cant you hear them call
Mother mother children still
Got to grow
Father father where do we go
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
Space age assures us life will
Go on
And everybody trying to believe
Forget the future
Think about right now
Somehow seem to be growing
Theme
Prophets of the times
Are written on street car walls
Cant you see them crying
Cant you hear them calling
Mother mother children still have
To grow
Father father where do we go
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
Space age assures us life will
Go on
Everybody trying to believe
Forget the future
Think about right now
Everybody better
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
Stop look and listen
To your heart
Forget the future
Think about right now

In a Child's Voice

Listen to the voice of a child
You will hear the wisdom of the ages
A book ready to be written
Filled with many unwritten pages
Learn from their innocence
Honestly brutal but real
For they haven’t yet been tarnished
telling you exactly how they feel
So simple yet so wise they speak
feelings never compromised
For whatever words they speak to you
You should not be surprised
Listen to the voice of a child
You can always feel their pain
They will always bring you sunshine
When the world is filled with rain
Their laughter is the music
That comes straight from the heart
So learn to sing their praises
Rejoice in every part
Never let that child within
Escape or get away
For every child is a part of us
Each and every day
Listen to the voice of a child
Hear each and every word
For every question asked of you
From sublime to the absurd
There are many lessons to be taught
And dreams to be realized
We learn from each other every day
Yet we always act surprised
If we listen a little bit closer
You will hear that inner child
A lifetime of knowledge
Mostly tame but occasionally wild
In a world that’s constantly changing
You can always find a choice
In the wisdom of our childhood
You will truly find your voice

Mark Twain

There are some books that refuse to be written. They stand their ground year after year and will not be persuaded. It isn't because the book is not there and worth being written -- it is only because the right form of the story does not present itself. There is only one right form for a story and if you fail to find that form the story will not tell itself.

The Knowledge Of The Prophesies

For some days now I’ve found it impossible
to stop strange voice in my head.
It’s been telling me about the future of this planet
and to listen carefully to what is said.

It asks me questions to which I know nothing
and of course I can’t reply,
not just because I don’t know the answers,
but people are always close by.

I don’t want to give the impression
that I’m losing my mind and senses.
I have to think about my position in life
and consider all the consequences.

I need time alone to think and evaluate
whether I am really hearing a voice,
and if I am, what does this really mean,
and is it giving me any kind of choice.

The voice is giving me no peace of mind,
it's talking all the time.
From the moment I wake up in the morning
until way past the midnight chime.

It asks awkward questions about my thinking,
and questions about my belief.
It also questions all my answers and replies,
which brings no rest or relief.

It said I must listen carefully to the Knowledge,
it's accurate, reliable, and true,
and I should not speak of its origin
it must remain a secret my whole life through.

I can tell those that ask that I've seen it in the stars,
which I study and chart everyday,
The planet's positions, and rotations at particular times
clearly show what's coming our way.

I’m definitely questioning my sanity
my head is spinning in confusion?
How can I believe such nonsensical notions,
am I facing a psychological illusion?

Many people have reported to have heard voices,
which eventually became the death of them.
I think a doctor's consultation is my best option,
they may have a solution to the problem.

Full of doubt and feeling foolish I asked the voice
to prove something it had said,
and it said that tomorrow a fire in South America
would leave many people dead.

On the news next day I was shocked to learn
that the event happened as prophesied,
so I asked the voice to explain how it knew
and it agreed to give it a try.

It said that in the human brain there was a receptor
that was very rarely used,
and one day everyone will benefit from the use of it;
but still I remained confused?

“But why do I need to know the future, ' I said,
'and what use is it to me? ”
“It proves that the future is already set out,
and what will be, will be.

With this ability you could plan your life
to be and do whatever you please.
Just as long as you use it for the good of all,
it is one of life's most important keys.'

“But if people saw me talking to myself
they would soon certify me insane.”
“So place your questions and responses
through thoughts to and from your brain.

Please don’t use the available information
for greed or causing devastation,
because those that abuse the Knowledge
will suffer self annihilation.

You will not be the first human to experience
this kind of brain evolution.
There have been others who have died
using it for wealth and persecution.

Because I don't have the power to censure,
your conscience will tell you what to say and do.
So please, once again don’t abuse your ability
that I've made available to you,

“If I do take heed to what you have been saying,
and do become able to foresee what will be,
I’ll write a book of all my prophesies
that will benefit future history.

And if the people take notice of my words
and plan their lives around what I say,
the name of Nostradamus
will live on forever and a day.

Chosen People

Glory is on our way[? ]
Worship the sun, great spirit.
Born of the mother earth,
Seek for the true white brother.
We are the chosen people, give back our sacred land.
We are the four grandfathers, a destiny for man.
It is written in our prophecy,
[it is written in our prophecy]
That we shall find the true white brother,
[we shall find the true white brother]
Who will help us, joined together, to build humanity.
There is a place for everyone.
We are the chosen people, give back our holy land.
We are the ever forest, we are great spirits hand.
She will call us soon,
She will shake her body,
Bringing your land to ruin.
Why will the world not hear us?
We are most ancient teachers, we know great spirits plan.
We learned by natures secrets, the inner side of man.
We are the chosen people, give back our sacred land.
We are the four grandfathers, a destiny for man.

Poison

Help me
I'm in disgrace
Witness slow death
All over my face
Help me
Pick up my heart
Tell my friends
Wherever they are
Listen
They stole my dream
New corruption
Know what i mean?
Listen
Do you think i don't know?
I've got a face like metal
And a radio
Listen up
Listen up good
New man's fame
Is new man's poison
Stand up
Stand up and fight
Stand up i won't quit so
Stand up and play
Stand up
Stand up and scream
Stand up i won't run so
Stand up and lose
Listen up
Listen up good
Innocence
Is new corruption
Memories?
I don't need
A dead museum
And a grudge to feed
Memories
Rewrite shame
Rearrange the feelings
To ease your pain
Big lie
So this is the word
A needle in the back
And my voice unheard
Big lie
So this is the news
Radio lost
And i've nothing to lose
Nu voice
Said this is insane
I'm trying to learn the rhythm
Of the rule change game
Nu voice
I'm a clock with no hands
Someone said forgive them
I don't know if i can
Tell me
What did i do?
You'd think i'd sold perversion
To the son of god (who?)
Tell me
What did i say?
I don't believe that honesty
Pays
Listen up
Listen up good
New man's fame
Is new man's poison
Listen up
Listen up good
Innocence
Is new corruption

Listen To Love

Baby close your eyes, listen to love
See what dreams are made of
Oh, and if one kiss
Speaks to us like this
Why resist it, baby, listen to love
The voices of reason
Say not to leap in
They tell me be careful, friend
Dont get burned again
But when I feel your heartbeat
I know something beautiful is starting
We need to believe in
Baby close your eyes, listen to love
See what dreams are made of
Oh, and if one kiss
Speaks to us like this
Why resist it, baby, listen to love
Venus rose out of the sea
Looking for you and me
She showed us the stars above
Said all we need is love
Its no time to be modest
Give it up, surrender to the goddess
You know in your heart its true
Baby, shes calling you
Come on now, come on now, come on now
Tell me you can hear it
Come on now, come on now
Open up your heart, listen to love
The stuff that dreams are made of
Oh and if one touch
Can reveal so much
Dont you know weve got to listen to love
Baby close your eyes, listen to love
See what dreams are made of
Oh, and if one kiss
Speaks to us like this
Why resist it, baby, listen to love
Why resist it, baby, listen
Listen to love
Come on now, come on now, come on now
Tell me you can hear it
Come on now, come on now
Open up your heart, listen to love
The stuff that dreams are made of
Oh and if one touch
Can reveal so much
Dont you know weve got to listen to love
Baby close your eyes, listen to love
See what dreams are made of

Speaks to us like this
Why resist it, baby, listen to love
Open up your heart, listen to love
The stuff that dreams are made of
Oh and if one touch
Can reveal so much

Written In Blood And Love

In pages written in blood, in pages written love.
Stories are told of you grow old together.
Live to dieing forever.
Scarred by the pain of misery.
Scarred by the imperfections the have created so many rejections.
Give me the antidote to the poison that I have slipped in my own drink.
Let me breath the life in again.
Drowned out all the cowardliness of my angel who holding me up.
Such a beautiful crutch.

Still in the pages written in blood, in the pages written love.
We are just one of millions.
Every story is the same.
All that's changed is the names, places, and faces.
Erase it all.
Rewrite the entire fall.
Let the wind take me.
Let the lightning strike me here and now.
For i will not let it cloud my judgement.
No matter the storm that's brought on.

In the pages written in blood, in the pages written in love
Hate me for the right reasons
Hate me because I am what you wanted me to be.
In all the irony.
I didn't change for you.
It was done way before you came along and sang your song.

All the pages have been written, in blood and love.
The Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet to the fullest.
Its the cruelest games in tragedy strikes without a ounce of leniency.
No mercy to those who are jumping without a life line.
Protection against the evil of an accident so quick.
A slip becomes a fall.
Next your trying to stall buy a little time.
But its in vain.
Nothing can be changed.
Its sink or swim till you reach shore.
So long off stripped of everything you thought was important.

Values so mixed up in these pages written in blood, in the pages written in love.
We have killed another pair of doves.

The Jaundiced Eye

to a jaundiced eye the world
appears yellow

and that includes all the details
and shades: the graffiti and
the effete

a society overrefined
turning yellow green with age
and envy

over the happiness of others
those who jumped over the fence to find the unique
pleasures of
violet grass and
purple clouds and
gray sun

one must not be bothered by the latest news of himself
narrated by
an acquaintance from far north
where the buffaloes are butchered

a name is kicked out from the pages of the morning papers
over a cup of cold coffee
another refined destruction of an icon
in you

listen the mesmerizing sound of your name
as you pray to
your favorite saints
do not be afraid
that is what is always said inside your heart
be not confused
in the middle of the crowd
there is the lonely you

listen to it carefully
it is the only true and honest voice
it does not betray you
and so
obey it.
