Maya Of Palm Beach
Maya with her charismatic smile
traveling worldwide many miles.
To Monte Carlo Maya attends
a Red Cross Ball affair that transcends
all the expectations of raising funds-
for the nonprofit Red Cross organization.
Attending are Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert II
they are married in a couple of years, very soon.
Music by Eddie Floyd with his saxophone-
makes the night a hit, he takes it home.
Even Ivana Trump and Rossano Rubicondi are there
Ivana is dressed in a flowing red long dress with flair.
Also attending is Super model Victoria Silvstedt
seductively poses in pink and is one of the guests.
Maya soon will be off to Korea in the far East
she will visit her son Vadim who Maya is happy to see.
Maya is posed on the set of TV series "The Surprise"
she is with her son who is character Stalin which airs at night.
Even though Maya's son is in the TV series "The Surprise"
Vadim is really a rock star in his real life.
Now Maya has to fly back to the states
she lives on the island that has mansion estates.
Maya has a new magazine that interviews Palm Beach socialites
even famous Elton John who gets in Maya's interesting writes.
Now I worked as a photographer for Maya in year 2005
Very great experience with Maya for Maya has an interesting Life.

Maya Love
Maya love - maya love,
Maya love is like the sea
Flowing in and out of me
Maya love - maya love,
Maya love is like the day
First it comes, then it rolls away
Maya love - maya love,
Maya love is like the wind
Blowing hard on everything
Maya love - maya love,
Maya love is like the rain
Beating on your window brain
Maya love - maya love,
Maya love is like the stream
Flowing through this cosmic dream

Maya Angelou
Maya Angelou
I like you.
You have a Brave
and startling Truth.
I have the couraged to face
face the loneliness.
Look, I am bold
and straight like you.
Maya Angelou
Im calling you
Im calling through your poem
the earth is listening
the sky is crippling.
Look, Look
Im floating Maya Angelou
I like you
Where are you.

ask Marcelino if he still remembers
when he was yet four years
and Maya was yet five on this very bed
where Maya just woke up one morning,
he kissed her.
he stole a kiss from her lips and from his
short pants, that of a child, loose and transparent
i have seen how hard his thing was
to my disbelief arising as it was from a very young boy
with milk on its tongue. And Maya too liked it.
There was no anger in her face.
Freud must be right. One cannot take for granted
the tick that sticks on the eggs of men
inflamming them.
One cannot take for granted the lust of the past.
They still haunt. They still confuse. They can still make us crazy.
Look under your pants.The difference is just the lush of the black hair.

Maya....maya....mayan.....maya
MAYA …..MAYA…..MAYAN…..MAYA
Thank God, you had not
made me something different
and allowing me to express freely - even
to speak ill of you boldly
watching all events, but very silently
showing your might only selectively - yet, surely
but, one thing I am unable appreciate
is your habit of putting true devotees to harsh tests
someone is spreading, that your count-down has begun
(by 21 Dec.2012) as per the much acclaimed Mayan calendar
to destroy this Universe as a measure of punishment
if such is the case, please tell me secretly in advance
Taking now shelter, ………I would emerge
.........as the first batch of ‘new settlers' ELSEWHERE.

To the Postmistress of Promised Land
Dipped in blood; my soul writes a letter
to a lass of a distant village called infinity.
Her name is *Maya.Agni.
Could you please let me know the postage?
Sorry, I do not know her whereabouts and domicile.
If undelivered; do not throw away
Please keep it with you forever.
* Maya is illusion and Agni is fire.

Small Bits of Illusion
Puppet reality prop-hand slips
illusive stage's illusionary curtain ripples
hypnagogic audience trance-like
Who noticed?
Did anyone else catch
Maya's fourth wall breach?
Maya,
may I please borrow-
without grasping,
five of your imaginary dollars
to go to the illusionary store?
Can I make my purchases
and still hope to
retain my emptiness?

Maya Angelou: A Phenomenal Woman?
Me thinks much ink
has been spilt
over the poem;
‘Phenomenal Woman’
by Maya Angelou.
Me thinks it is time
I stuck my oar in
had my say;
hopefully in a far
less controversial way.
So I ask all these supposedly
expert men who
read read read her poem;
then see red red red
who is Maya Angelou?
A Phenomenal Woman?
And to a man these reds do not know?
Do they also not know
that it is personal choice;
which poems poets writers we like?
All have differing tastes
all are entitled to their opinion!
Have they never heard
Maya Angelou recite one of her poems?
It brings a smile to my lips my eyes.
I receive Maya’s performance with pride?
It seems no one nobody does it better?
So again I ask do you know?
Who is Maya Angelou?
A Phenomenal Woman?
Wow what odds would you give
on Maya Angelou, a young
African-American girl
ever achieving?
Phenomenal success?
Maya Angelou had her baby
at age sixteen?
She left home at age sixteen
as a single mother?
This is a very hard road in which seeds
of success could never be sown?
At age three and a half
Maya’s parents divorced.
Her dad sent her to Stamps
Arkansas, to live with
her paternal grandmother.
Four years later, her dad
sent her to San Francisco,
to live with her mother.
Marguerite Annie Johnson
experienced legally enforced
racial discrimination.
As a way of life as a young girl
in the American South.
What odds now on ever achieving
phenomenal success?
What happened to Maya
at age seven eight;
God forbid I will not mention.
When Maya heard
her mother’s boyfriend;
had been killed by an uncle.
Maya felt “her words
had killed the man” and Maya;
fell into a world silent.
Maya “did not speak for five years”
until age thirteen;
reunited with her mother.
Did trauma cause mute Maya
“to go mute for five years? ”
Maya recalled, “I thought if I spoke,
my mouth would just issue out
something that would kill people,
randomly, so it was better not to talk.”
I shall not recite in detail
the story of Maya Angelou’s life.
Best you read it for yourself!
Therefore a brief synopsis;
age sixteen supporting herself her son
working as a waitress cook;
already given up talents for music,
dance, performance and poetry.
Then rebirth as phoenix a phenomenal life!
Time you look her Maya read all about it!
It reads like a suspense novel visual screenplay!
This is phenomenal women exceptional lady!
I shall never know Malcolm X; Dr. Martin Luther King!
So who is this phenomenal African-American women?

are but a few of Maya’s honours Maya’s many accolades.
Therefore in genuine sincere respect
I bow the head bend the knee.
And to these critic men these reds
I have but one thing to decree.
What God has seen fit to raise up
let no man attempt to tear down in stupidity.

Horseshoe
Maya, the lovelorn lass in the stable who spends the whole life
with a hobble horse as a hobby until she became a hoary woman.
One day the stallion said goodbye to her.
But still she hears its sorrowful neigh.
The cruel life hoaxed up to her death bed.
Now she rest in peace behind the stable in the horse's grave.
The Blacksmith's beautiful daughter who carries a horseshoe at all.
The teacher questioned her in the Sunday school.
'Where do you come from Maya? '
'I am staying behind the horsewoman's graveyard' She replied.

a Song delight
today he perform the dance and rudram in him
when he curb the maya it is the full in swing
when universe in dark he dances in graveyard
when the universe awaken he dance with her!
The joyous of the minutes and profound thoughts
and the limitless sky is the eyes of wisdom
the earth beneath is the stage to dance
the mantra of joy ever rejoiced!
ye, in joy take the flowers to ponder
ye, in joy make the oceans to raise
ye, in joy make the breeze to flow rhythm melodious
ye, in joy make the rays shine glitter!
Relentless dance the rudram, performed to curb maya
beneath his legs maya down in flake
flares of fire swallows the love of the impure
over my head a place for you and you run over the world
who ever wishes to drink! the river you are
hate not the people and hate not yurself
let you dance in joy and my dance always relentless!

Maya
You love is like ne wineskins,
And down to the river side with a view;
For the sweet water of Maya is what you share with me.
I met you with my own eyes and i saw your love,
And you were in a trance with the muse of your love!
As the flowers sang to your beauty with the care of love,
And like the complexity of the things seen around you.
My root of love is so spread out to the waters deep,
And you are Maya from these waters deep;
For your love is like the new wineskins sold in this town.

I've Come to You
I've come to you,
With tears you dry.
I've come to you,
To be by your side.
And when you comfort me,
I am fine!
I come alive inside.
You do this,
And I am lifted up!
You do this,
And I am strengthened.
You do this with just your touch.
I've come to you,
With tears you dry.
I've come to you,
To be by your side.
And when you comfort me,
I am fine!
I come alive inside.
You do this,
And I am lifted up!
To walk again on a path.
Knowing you are there,
Caring!

Tell me Brother
Tell me, Brother, how can I renounce Maya?
When I gave up the tying of ribbons, still I tied my garment about me:
When I gave up tying my garment, still I covered my body in its folds.
So, when I give up passion, I see that anger remains;
And when I renounce anger, greed is with me still;
And when greed is vanquished, pride and vainglory remain;
When the mind is detached and casts Maya away, still it clings to the letter.
Kabîr says, 'Listen to me, dear Sadhu! the true path is rarely found.'
Sa May Dagat
Mga halakhak
kaunting bangayan
maya't-maya'y luha
muli'y, mga halakhak...
Sa may dagat
naruon ang mga alaala ng pamilyang
patuloy na nagbabago
mga bata'y lumalaki
ama't-inang puti ng buhok
ay dumarami.
Ang dagat
sa tuwina'y saksi
ng pagmamahalan at pag-aalitan
ng pamilyang malapit
minsa'y malayo
at sa kanilang mga puso
ay kanya-kanyang tuwa
at kanya-kanyang pighati.
Sa may dagat
hangin doon ay kaysarap langhapin.
Sa may dagat...
aah, kung takbo ng buhay
ay hawak ko lang.

Mayan Appreciation
The Maya appreciate people
even when departed are dead.
Maya invite dead spirit
to continue in the world;
to remain in the world
to help with their toil.
To do this the Maya pass
coca leaves three times;
around honoured laid out
corpse of the dead person.
While in esteemed western society
we do not even appreciate;
the living when they are alive
when unknown strangers unknown to us.
Why is it people living at altitude
in primal harmonious agricultural lifestyles;
have a reverent respect for nature essential
have a more enlightened attitude to life?
I thought pursuit altitude sickness
was supposed to harass affect;
people living at such high altitude
yet Maya living in clouds of Gods;
become tired ill with decent into valley
of pristine fertile green pastures;
where interactive infection breeds
swifter than can grow green spring grass.
Even among Maya some villagers
get drunk so become violent;
and cannot behave as civilized
people by necessity must behave.
Even when Mayan villagers
must sacrifice a lama for meat;
music is appreciation played
all care all life reverence;
must be appropriately given
to all community animals sacrificed.
Even the tinku the fighting ritual
an encounter of differing energies;
tinku is ritual encounter not brawl
to restore unity among participants.
Tinku meaning equals fighting not to win
but to define territory between villages;
the recognition is that community unity
is needed for essential survival of villages.
Feathered hats of warriors are shaped
like hats of conquistadors who took territory;
this fighting ritual is for luck to keep away evil
evil legacy is greed rage conquistador values.

I probably spent the first 20 years of my life wanting to be as American as possible. Through my 20s, and into my 30s, I began to become aware of how so much of my art and architecture has a decidedly Eastern character.

I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.
