If That's the Path You Are Waiting to Have Cleared
Why have you chosen to climb over those boulders?
And walk your way through the forest,
Instead of following along a trail that has been paved? !
'I chose this as 'my' path!
I wanted to experience...
Those obstacles at my own expense.
To learn and observe as much as I could see.
Without taking it for granted,
I could take advantage of an easier way for me.
And I have no regrets.

So far, so long I was a lonely goat
Walking up the mountain path
With no shepherd to guard

Damaged
Waiting for the feeling to subside,
Paranoid, I melt into myself.
They say Im to reach inside and find
The broken part of my machinery.
Psychoanalyze the chapters
On the path to my darkest day.
Searching for the answers,
All I see is damage through the haze.
Picking up the pieces of my life
With no direction for re-assembly.

The path in the woods
that was calling to me
was filled with wonders
I would not see.
For fear of the unknown
was a terrible thing.
But still the lure of the path
did bring

The Path
There is no turning back from this unending path of mine
Serpentine and black it stands before my eyes
To hell
and back it will lead me once more
It's all i have as i stumble in and out of grace
I walk through the gardens of dying
light
