If That's the Path You Are Waiting to Have Cleared
Why have you chosen to climb over those boulders?
And walk your way through the forest,
Instead of following along a trail that has been paved? !
'I chose this as 'my' path!
I wanted to experience...
Those obstacles at my own expense.
To learn and observe as much as I could see.
Without taking it for granted,
I could take advantage of an easier way for me.
And I have no regrets.
How about you? '
I've been waiting now for awhile.
They have discovered an enormous amount of debris,
On my path.
Are you coming 'back' from distances?
Or are you moving along on a journey?
'Well...
I am moving forward,
Hopefully.
There was once a clear path.
I saw some folks on it.
If that's the path you are waiting to have cleared...
To visit or stay...
Or fellowship near.
Best wishes, my 'brutha'.
You got a long wait!
Back there...
Folks like to stay in debate,
As to who should do what...
To get things done!
You should go.
You'll be welcomed and caught up in it,
Before you know it!
That's why I long decided to do my own 'thing'!
Stopping to discuss what action to take...
Is not on my agenda!
Go! Or wait...
Or whatever it is you do!
They will love you!
And they will not believe,
Just how naïve you are! '

Perhaps He Can Tell Us What He Knows
If one continues to remove obstacles,
Off of one's path.
And a journey one has taken has had,
Nothing but obstructions along the way.
To make it easier for others to follow.
One day someone will ask,
To have a curiosity finally revealed.
'This path we have taken,
Seems to have been cleared...
Prior to us getting here.
Who planted the trees and flowers,
Along this path and paved it?
How can we rightfully call ourselves pioneers,
When someone else obviously...
Had to have been here before we came.'
~That's a very good question.
Let us wait until others awaken to notice.
But for now we will take the credit.
There appears to be an elderly man up ahead,
Picking weeds.
Perhaps he can tell us what he knows.
And then we can document that with re-writes.~

Choosing To Walk On The Right Path
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Is going to have its obstacles.
Temptations will be there to tease,
With attempts to weaken.
And faces familiar...
Will appear to critique.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Isn't an easy decision one makes.
It takes one to break away,
From barriers attached...
That are difficult to unlatch.
Yet...
Can be done to escape those traps.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Is going to have its obstacles.
And some days will seem impossible.
But that path chosen,
By the one who knows it is correct...
Will never bring to one regret.
If a faith kept is strong.
And an accepting felt within belongs.
Choosing to walk on the right path,
Will prove there to be nothing to fear.
Doubts disappear!
And those things wrong that prick like thorns,
From this right path...
Eventually,
Will be gone!

Leave The Past And Moving On With The Future
What does it means to
Leave the past, and moving on with future?
It means you have to just let it go
Even it going hurt and feel so much in pain
You have other things looking forward too
If you love something so much
It will come back to you
It does it meant to be and if don't then just move on
I have finally learn my mistakes after yesterday
It's was perfect day off
I want to be who I am
I changes so much just to fit in
That's not like me
Time to figure out what I really want
What does it means to
Leave the past and moving on with future?
It means that this is now and your chances to do what you been waiting for
Time is running out
No going back and forth in path
No going back and forth in past to future
I'm stop acting like I'm scared
I'm not and now this is my time
I'm not regreat anything anymore
I don't want be like this
I need to think before I say something or do it
Past is not something I need think about
I need to think about future that I'm waiting for to happen
This is me and I finally understand what I didn't before
It's all right in front of me
I need to grab it and hold onto it
Future is waiting for me
I'm moving forward
Leave the past and moving on with future

One Foot On The Path
You say, come over baby, come talk to me
Then you drive me so crazy
I cant hardly see
If this keeps goin on
I might just leave and not come back
I got one foot in your doorway
I got one foot on the path
Well you beg me to stay
Then you order me to go
All this up and down
Is wear and tear on my soul
Im wonderin if our future
Is gonna look just like our past
I got one foot in your doorway
I got one foot on the path
Now I love you, baby
Dont get me wrong
But this heart of mine
May not be that strong
You got me on your line
Reel me in or throw me back
I got one foot in your doorway
I got on foot on the path
Youd best thing about it, baby
But dont take too long
If we cant get it right
Ill just be movin on
I cant wait forever
For us to get this thing on track
I got one foot in your doorway, baby
I got on foot on the path

Get It Moving
(david smalley)
Baby, dont you know that I couldnt share you
So, if youre coming back well get things straight
Its been so long since the day you left me
I never thought that Id have to wait
Get it moving back my way
Oh, I couldnt live another day without your love
Get it moving, yeah
Said you didnt want a love that would tie you.
You needed time and would I wait.
Ive been so lost and now Ive got to tell you
I need it all, I cant be second rate.
Get it moving back my way
Oh, I couldnt live another day without your love
Get it moving back my way
I need your loving more each day
Get it moving back my way
I wont be happy till I know youll stay
Said you didnt want a love that would tie you
You needed time and would I wait
Its been so long and now Ive got to tell you
I need it all, I cant be second rate
Get it moving back my way
Oh, I couldnt live another day without your love

Search
Keep on searching for there is a path for you.
Keep on waiting for the right person will come to you.
We all get impatient but the wait is worth it.
For the obstacle will soon get smaller and smaller as our path becomes clearer.
So continue to search and you will see a bright light at the end.
For you have been waiting and searching and have found your star.
She is lighting up your path with every step you take forward.

Faith I Don't Question
How can I 'see' some things and you don't?
That's a good question.
One I can not explain.
When I see a clear path,
I walk on it.
There may be some obstacles.
I face them and move on.
You,
I hear rustling through the brush,
Cussing at the leaves falling from trees.
And criticizing the insects,
And other animals in their natural habitat.
I hear you struggling over aches and pains.
You inflicted them.
On that route you insist you must maintain.
When I see a clear path,
I walk on it.
There may be some obstacles.
I face them and move on.
How can I 'see' some things and you don't?
That's a good question.
One I can not explain.
I make sure the path I'm on,
Has some direction.
And I stay on it with faith,
I don't question.
I just 'do' and let God be my guide!

On That Path
I'm on that path,
So was my mother,
I'm on that path,
Just like my brother.
I'm on that path,
I didn't know my father,
I'm on that path,
And i am the master.
I'm on that path,
upon the good, straying from evil.
I'm on that path-
There is no cheating.
I'm on that path,
God knows i need him.
I'm on that path,
and i hope i'm never leaving ;)

Wait And See
There you go looking cool,
Writing rules
For your theories of romance.
I know that you doubt me,
But without me
You'd be tearing off your one chance.
Wait and see,
This could be the last time for me.
Baby, just wait and see.
All the times
I came running back
Down the path of the least resistance.
I felt my body
Was just a hobby
For your heart's indifference.
Wait and see,
This could be the last time for me.
Now baby, can't you wait and see?
Just you wait and see.
Just you wait and see.
Wait and see.
I've been trapped by your innocence,
Haven't seen you since
You caught me, baby.
Shot down by the one I love,
Now I'm taking off
With the things you taught me.
Wait and see,
This could be the last time for me.
Now baby, can't you wait and see?
Just you wait and see.
Just you wait and see.
Wait and see.

Endless Journey
The journey we make in life is long and hard. This
journey which has its crossroads. . . when we get to them.
we have to decide on which road to take, what path to
make and what's down that road. This journey that we must make has many obstacles,
many detours, many signs. We see the signs, but never
heed its warnings, we see the detours in life, but seem
to stray the other way. Life is rough and so is this journey that we're making.
This journey we make has its trail of tears and its path
of happiness, the two never meeting. When finally, we choose our path, we must follow it to
the end, to the end of its road, which is our destiny in
life. That's when life begins.

No One There to Empathize
If the path you walk upon,
Has been cleared of brush...
You may find your journey easier,
With less urgency to rush.
You may even stop upon it...
To elect to renovate your findings.
But if you believe this path brings you faster,
To your wishes...
You may become quite upset,
When you begin to realize...
The steps you follow,
Are not yours to correct.
Or can be changed...
To provide your cries for comfort!
And too late,
To recover the time wasted.
With no one there to empathize...
Or validate your complaints.

Lure Of The Path
The path in the woods
that was calling to me
was filled with wonders
I would not see.
For fear of the unknown
was a terrible thing.
But still the lure of the path
did bring
curiosity that could
not hold me back.
No matter the danger,
no matter the fear
I'd travel that path
and never veer.
For the path in the woods
would always be
waiting for me
and calling to me.

A story …nothing to say
Flying in the sky wasn't enough
I choose the path to have which was rough.
Dignity and pride moving along with me,
I was the brave one whom all want see.
Like the sky was not enough as much as I thought,
I choose the path but soon the path trouble me too.
Now I am helpless neither I am in sky nor in the path,
What could I do except to survive, cry or die.
Answer
Oh! Little fellow sorry to hear you
But your mouth is not the only mouth to listen,
And your ear is not that which only listen what you speak.
Can you tolerate all of them as you are,
nor in the sky and the path you choose.
I m sorry I can do nothing coz in sky difficult to fly,
In path difficult to survive.
Do what you like, return alone in the sky or choose the next path as you like.
But thing about those dam dignity and pride,
Which will kick you through out the life.

Letter From My Father - Song Lyrics
How`ve you been son
Heard life`s not been well
Are you reading My word
Or are you trapped in your shell
Come step off your path
And walk with me on mine.
Things that are so tough
Will work out just fine
All you need is some faith
And you just need my will
Then your path will be straight
I`ll be waiting until.........
Chorus:
I`ll wait til you find me
I`m not very far
Just open your heart
And reach up to the stars
If you want to believe
It`s all just a dream
But it is much more simple
Than you think that it seems
I remember back when
I was betrayed by my friend
And everyone thought
I had come to an end
It was where I began
It was part of my plan
And I love you so much
I am the Son of Man
Chorus X 1
My words of truth
They will not deceive
Come walk on my water
I will make you believe
So please take my hand son
I will give you much more
Than you`re life ever gave you
Just walk through my door
Chorus X 2

Last Call
Caught in a strugle
With your back against the wall
You saw it coming and you all must heed the call
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The clock is ticking and it's moving fast
Can we move on or are we victims of the past
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Racism flourished and it's stronger than before
People are fighting in another local war
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The hate must stop and the war must cease
To make this world a place to live we must have peace
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Think before you act...
Before it's too late...

Stranglehold
Can I get you to give me a minute of your time?
Can I get you to slip me the answer?
Can I get you to slow me a little of your mime?
You were always a very good dancer
Id be happy to show you a bit of what I found
Id be happy to share in its beauty
Id be happy to lay low inevitably bound
I would only be doing my duty.
I wait, I wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the bar
I can wait, I can wait , I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you
Stranglehold, you know youve got on me
I dont want to go without you.
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
But I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
Are you willing to wager a little of your life?
Are you willing to take such a gamble?
Are you ready to walk on the edge of the knife?
Then I think we can skip the preamble.
I wait, I wait, I can wait. I cant wait back in the bar,
I can wait, I can wait, I can wait back in the car
Ill be waiting for you. Ill be waiting...
Stranglehold, you know, youve got on me
I dont want to go without you
Stranglehold, youve got me where you want me
And I want to know more about you I want to know more
About you.
I can wait, I can wait back in the bar I can wait, I can wait
I can wait back in the car Ill be waiting for you.

The Journey to Love
The path to true love can often be
Long, winding and somewhat rocky.
The journey can be easy at times,
But difficult at others.
The journey can be short for some,
But long for others.
The journey will never be the same for each other,
Because every one of us is different.
None of us will ever know what this path is like
Until we have to travel it ourselves.

Here Comes Your Man
Outside theres a box car waiting
Outside the family stew
Out by the fire breathing
Outside we wait til face turns blue
I know the nervous walking
I know the dirty beard hangs
Out by the box car waiting
Take me away to nowhere plains
There is a wait so long
Here comes your man
Big shake on the box car moving
Big shake to the land thats falling down
Is a wind makes a palm stop blowing
A big, big stone fall and break my crown
There is a wait so long
Youll never wait so long
Here comes your man
There is a wait so long
Youll never wait so long
Here comes your man

Casting One's Own Shadow
Call your trip whatever you wish.
I've learned not to debate, argue...
Or 'franchise' anyone's opinion,
As if to make mine!
Nor do I agree to evaluate...
Someone's statement,
Whether a line given to solicit...
An opinion I've given in anything I've written.
I've learned an exchange of experiences,
Is not a possibility.
And I've learned this by listening.
And this many people seldom do.
I've been up and down too many times,
To discover my own comprehension...
About life.
My life and how 'my' life is connected.
When I found criticisms made of me by others...
'Added' to my understanding,
If right, wrong or indifferent when given...
I still had to brush my own teeth.
Walk on my own two feet!
And be accountable for my own actions.
I stopped making excuses,
When they began not to make sense to me.
I spent more time defending myself...
Instead of living my life.
And I began to do that...
When I started to appreciate myself.
And 'if' I was to give my advice to anyone...
AND...
I did say 'if'.
I would say this...
If anyone finds they are seeking acceptance,
On a path they have chosen to take...
It is not a path they have chosen.
How can it be?
How can someone declare something theirs,
When others can do the same thing thing?
If voices can be heard?
Footprints can be seen?
And the path one takes has already been paved?
That is following...
Not casting,
One's own shadow!
I do not wish,
I demand people to get out of my light.
What would be the point,
If I am patiently waiting for someone else to decide...
Whether or not they want to move out of it?
That kind of time I am not giving to anyone!
Period.
I've learned many lessons.
