London riots 2011
Anarchy is wrecking Britain,
Whilst mocking every law written,
And those that make such madness reign,
Merely get looked at with disdain,
With no remorse for what they've done,
They think twas just a bit of fun,
While buildings are left to burn down,
People are scared to walk their town,
Mindless yobs that crave for acclaim,
Leave their country feeling great shame,
Blind that they'll pay the price in time,
And regret having turned to crime,
Each and every sight of mayhem,
Which the honest can't but condemn,
Calls there to be a prayer for calm,
As we hope no more come to harm.

Town & Country
Written by dewey bunnell and gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Touched by a butterfly on my way home
Flying who knows where
Walking down that dusty road
Without a care
The sun was shining up in the country
And bells were ringing downtown
Clouds were moving slow and lazy
While I was kicking around
And feeling out the town and the country
Feeling out the town and the country
Up on the hill I got a better look
I watched the river run brown (watched the river run brown)
And then I heard those songbirds singing
The country sound
When I got home I sat in my kitchen
And turned the television on (turned the tv on)
The news wasnt good so I didnt listen
I started clicking around
Thinking of the town and the country
I was thinking of the town and the country
Thinking of the town and the country
In the morning everything will be the same
Open up your world (watch the children play)
In the sun or rain
Thinking of the town and the country
A thinking of the town and the country
I was thinking of the town and the country (fade)

The Human Condition
An age that's in decline
The blind lead the blind
Live from day to day
Nothing here yet you stay
Painful memories you recall
Nothing left for you at all
Your life is your priority
No hope for you alone
Kept out of sight
Unseen, disowned
By society
You know what will be will be
No such thing as destiny
To watch the world as time ticks by
Many truths that you deny
You cannot change the way you feel
Some emotions you can't conceal
No way to end your misery
No hope for you alone
Kept out of sight
Unseen, disowned
By society
Salvage you identity
You cannot life off charity
This is a high price to pay
For being led astray
No feeling here but apathy
Can't risk emotional injure
No time for thought or sentiment
No hope for you alone
Kept out of sight
Unseen, disowned
By society

If Silence Breaks Its Silence
IF SILENCE BREAKS ITS SILENCE
Melvin Banggollay
The tail of silence riding with the wind
whispers echoes of rumor mongering
but when asked to accost its humming
Mute was his lips as if he knows nothing.
If silence will break its own silent beam
then lot of things could have been seen
Justice could have reign if eyes be keen
and tongue unafraid to tell what had been.
For fear of life, the ear of silence remain
to be deaf forever even it hears disdain,
The eyes that see is blind again and again
as lips close to shout for silence to reign.
Be brave to break the silence that reign
for truth to radiate justice that regain
Hope to those who sung victims pain
and torment to those that inflicts disdain.
Written when my father was wrongfully accused
of a crime of frustrated homicide that he never have done.

Golden Country
Golden country your face is so red
With all of your money your poor can be fed
You strut around and you flirt with disaster
Never really carin just what comes after
Well your blacks are dyin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are cryin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn
The time has come for you my friend
To all this ugliness we must put an end
Before we leave we must make a stand
Mortgage people you crawl to your homes
Your security lies in your bed of white foam
You act concerned but then why turn away
When a lady was raped on your doorstep today
Well your blacks are cryin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are dyin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn
The time has come for you my friend
To all this ugliness we must put an end
Before we leave we must make a stand, oh yeah......
(solo)
Golden country your face is so red
With all of your money your poor can be fed
You strut around and you flirt with disaster
Never really carin just what comes after
Well your blacks are dyin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are cryin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn

Hazard
My mother came to hazard when I was just seven
Even then the folks in town said with predjudiced eyes
That boys not right
Three years ago when I came to know mary
First time that someone looked beyond the rumors and the lies
And saw the man inside
We used to walk down by the river
She loved to watch the sun go down
We used to walk along the river
And dream our way out of this town
No one understood what I felt for mary
No one cared until the night she went out walking alone
And never came home
Man with a badge came knocking next morning
Here was I surrounded by a thousand fingers suddenly
Pointed right at me
I swear I left her by the river
I swear I left her safe and sound
I need to make it to the river
And leave this old nebraska town
I think about my life gone by
And how its done me wrong
Theres no escape for me this time
All of my rescues are gone, long gone
I swear I left her by the river
I swear I left her safe and sound
I need to make it to the river
And leave this old nebraska town

Remorse & Regret
Remorse the feeling of regret
the regret of doing a event
The alarm of Knowing your Human
-
The feeling of which we all like Kill
The feeling that comes, when murder happens
But is unseen, neither Good, Bad
Just Unknown
-
Death, abuse, Blood, carnage
None of it is Ne or Unknown to it
Its just unknown to itself
-
No mercy in spreading itself
No remorse...
just regret and Fear, its job
building and growing like Cancer
Until you self-destruct
-
Remorse does its job
and so does Karma
But never equally...

Our Town
Written by ricky & marty wilde
This is your town, this is my place
This is where my whole world is lived in
Nothing much, and just out of reach of all the city lights
Its a high town, its a low town
Its get here, come on you grow town
No-one does, but everyone thinks theyre gonna make it soon
This is one place I respected
Now I feel its really dejected
No-one cares and the people just stare
And a man on the box says
Hey you, dont walk away, vote for me
Youll get more pay, keep working hard
But they work slow
Here it comes now, sunday morning
Just another sleepy town yawning
Down below everything looks just like another day
But, in the warm glow of the sunrise
Theres a child whos searching with young eyes
Looking round and feeling inside hes gonna fly away
There was one time I was leaving
But the folks around me kept grieving
Friends said go, but my dad said no
And my mum kept saying
Dont go, dont go away
Dont leave us, youve got to stay
Just raise them kids, oh mother no
No prospects, just projects
Dont try to tell me were living
Theres no real need to try
Cant you see this town gonna die
Hail the new age, its a rat cage
Join the place for breeding dumb spieces
All stacked up and doing whatever someone tells you to
Burn the place down, make it dead ground
Show the people just what theyre missing
Wake up, wake up, cant you believe in what Im telling you
Theres a house where I was born in
Now its changed without any warning
Cranes just crash and bricks just smash
While a billboards saying
Lets go, lets get away
Come fly me, youve weeks to pay
When sunshine calls, but I wont go
This is our town

A Lesson Learned
I just have think of the happy times we had.
I should be happy that I met you, but instead deep inside I feel sad.
Just because I never said the things to you that mattered most,
and now it's too late, I hope you can forgive me…
I have to bury this relationship, but it still haunts me like a ghost.
For what we had or could of is buried in the ground,
Maybe we never knew each other, just two people playing around.
Too scared to get to close, but too scared to let go,
Feeling quite confused and afraid to let it show.
It ended in such madness with only leaving a question mark,
"Of what if and what now? "
I know it left us not as friends,
but only foes,
maybe in time we will really know.
So whatever I did to you that made you so mad,
it was a learning lesson for me and that I should be glad.

Can I Play With Madness
Give me the sense to wonder
To wonder if Im free
Give me a sense of wonder
To know I can be me
Give me the strength to hold my head up
Spit back in their face
Dont need no key to unlock this door
Gonna break down the walls
Break out of this bad place
Can I play with madness
The prophet stared at his crystal ball
Can I play with madness
Theres no vision there at all
Can I play with madness
The prophet looked and he laughed at me
Can I play with madness
He said youre blind too blind to see
I screamed aloud to the old man
I said dont lie dont say you dont know
I say you pay for your mischief
In this world or the next
Oh and then he fixed me with a freezing glance
And the hellfires raged in his eyes
He said do you wanna know the truth son
Ill tell you the truth
Your souls gonna burn in a lake of fire
Can I play with madness
The prophet stared at his crystal ball
Can I play with madness
Theres no vision there at all
Can I play with madness
The prophet looked and he laughed at me
Can I play with madness
He said youre blind too blind to see
Can I play with madness
The prophet stared at his crystal ball
Can I play with madness
Theres no vision there at all
Can I play with madness
The prophet looked and he laughed at me
Can I play with madness
He said youre blind too blind to see

What's Wrong With Kid Now?
Whats wrong with kids today? The way they speak, they don't care,
Oh what's wrong with kids, they don't even like anymore to share;
Some have become bullies, and like to cause harm and trouble,
Where back years ago, when I was young, kids would would be so humble.
What's wrong with young people, They don't care if they get caught,
Swearing, lying, cheating, Doing drugs, they'll not do what theyre taught;
Some underage caught driving and end up killing someone they don't know,
But fail to take the blame, please God, let them see that others know.
What's wrong with some young adults, who have become parents too soon,
Then leave their young ones unattended, and babies left in their room;
While the parents are out doing drugs and drink, not caring at all,
Please God, they need to grow up and see, they have taken a fall.
What's wrong with other people, from many different places,
Coming to our country, who cause strife, for strangers faces;
Why can't they think of becoming a very trusting, caring friend,
Please God. Make them see, the world has gone round the bend.
What's wrong with country leaders, who bring shame to their country,
By stirring up strife in their party, being dishonest, to so many;
Why don't they realize they'll be caught, when they don't expect too,
Please God, help us to get honest leaders, to be honest and be true.

Dont Make Our Love A Crime
Words and music by rick nielsen
Give me passion, Ill make it good
Im not crazy, just misunderstood
And I wanna be caught with you
Oh yeah
Ive been framed all my life
Didnt do it, Im no enemy
Now I wanna be blamed with you
Oh no
Dont you make our love a crime
Please dont make our love a crime
If you do well all regret it in time
So dont you make our love a crime
You murdered just a part of me
Im still alive and breathin free
I wanna be punished with you
I know what youre goin through
You gave me a fatal bite
I wanna spend my time with you, you, you
Dont you make our love a crime
Please dont make our love a crime
If you do well all regret it in time
So dont you make our love a crime
I know what youre goin through
Its happened to me once before
And I know what youre gonna do
I wanna spend some time with you
Its stronger than it was before
And Ive saved it up for you, you, you
Dont you make our love a crime
So please dont make our love a crime
If you do well all regret it in time
So dont you make our love a crime
A crime, no

My Leaving Gift, My Prayer
As I prepare to leave I ask myself
What does it mean if I do not get a gift?
What does it mean?
How will I feel?
It means no one cares
No one likes you
I can only expect to get back what I give
Feeling scared as this answer reached me
I say a prayer that it should reach you
I should learn to give more
I hope that I can accept the truth, regret my mistakes, learn from them and hope to change
Hope to be better, hope to be stronger
I hope that I can stay strong, grow into myself and expand out of myself
To doubt myself less and enjoy the good in some
I hope not to conform to a world that does not see me as I am but as I should be
To sympathise with people who see me as different and fear me for it
Who wish I would be just like them so that things would be easy for them
So that they do not have to try so hard to understand the things they are not used to
I hope to believe there is good and seek it out where it can be found
To open myself
For when I am open I can give and receive
As an open bottle can be poured from and filled

Boudicca
A past king of East Anglia,
Ruled with men from a foreign shore,
Despite a cultural barrier,
There was no cruel bloody war,
Life was better than twas elsewhere,
But of somethings all weren't aware,
Had all intentions been made clear,
There would have been due cause to fear,
Lest it ends up being misplaced,
Choose carefully where to put trust,
Failure to means what's to be faced,
Could well seem to be unjust,
Alliances don't always last,
When the king died things changed fast,
As their claim to the land was lost,
The common people paid the cost,
Once the Anglian king was dead,
His wishes were not respected,
Liberties were taken instead,
Which ruined all those affected,
Though she'd once been by a king's side,
Boudica's will was defied,
She ended up battered and bruised,
Whilst her three daughters were abused,
The cheated despised their fate,
As the hardships faced caused them pain,
The people boiled inside with hate,
For they had no voice to complain,
Men were burdened with debts and shame,
Due to how hard their lives became,
Thing seemed to get worse by the day,
Which brought about yet more dismay,
A rare chance was happened upon,
That put in doubt the ruler's reign,
For whilst their troops were briefly gone,
People felt their plight need not remain,
They believed that their former queen,
Could make things how they had once been,
Sure their land could be theirs again,
She rallied together the men,
Passions were fuelled a great extent,
Many had call for an outlet,
These people made war their intent,
Giving their foes due cause to fret,
All across the land waves were felt,
Owing to the change of hand dealt,
The rebels obtained much support,
Ready for battles to be fought,
Days would see very little calm,
For to war all were to succumb,
The foes met came to the most harm,
Because they found themselves overcome,
The offensive achieved its aim,
Making the land seem free to claim,
Whilst enemies had met their doom,
For twas the due thing to assume,
To secure the land as their own,
Rebels took revenge on their foe,
Which most would struggle to condone,
They didn't have any remorse though,
The foreigners struggled to cope,
And found themselves with dwindling hope,
The threat which the rebels did pose,
Couldn't be crushed when it arose,
The rebels sought havoc to wreak,
As they went on a killing spree,
They slew both the strong and the weak,
Whilst dismissing their every plea,
No mercy to which to appeal,
Meant some suffered a grave ordeal,
The much unexpected defeat,
Almost called for all out retreat,
Nothing kept the rebels in check,
They left thousands dead in their wake,
Towns were pillaged and left a wreck,
And damage done for vengeance sake,
The changes to the land were stark,
As the disturbance left its mark,
Boudica had her land back,
But her plans did not stay on track,
The foreigners suffered much loss,
But came back as a stronger force,
Determined to quell the chaos,
And bring their schemes onto course,
The foreigners found their success,
With skills others didn't possess,
Their true might was shocking to face,
So they in time secured their place,
All of Boudica's dreams died,
As she had to give up her fight,
She suffered a blow to her pride,
Since she'd not quelled her people's plight,
Boudica left this life,
Escaping from all of her strife,
She lived on though she weren't alive,
For her story was to survive.

Burn That Bridge
Burn that bridge
By: jimmy buffett, michael utley, will jennings
1984
Im not sayin Im scareda you
But your kinda love is somethin new
When I hold you were swayin in the wind
Of all the bridges Ive ever crossed
High and lonesome and wild and lost
I feel this time Ill take it to the end
We dont care what the people may say
If theres a price its the price well pay
Chorus:
And well burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to
Burn it down
Burn it down
We both done our share of runnin around
So we know enough to know the kind of love weve found
Its the real thing and weve got to see it through
Im a singer and a sailor on a midnight sea
(oh captain come and take me on your fantasy)
If were crazy that aint nothin new
cause we dont care what the people may say
If theres a price its the price well pay
Chorus:
And well burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to
Burn it down
Burn it down
Who knows how it started
Who knows it end
The point of no return is waiting
Just around the bend
Chorus:
And well burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to
Burn it down
Burn it down
Chorus:
Yes well burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to it
Burn that bridge when we come to
Burn it down
Burn it down
Burn it down
Burn it down
Burn it down
Burn it down
Burn it down

We were once a thriving town
envied by ports from miles around
plenty of fish and jobs for all
and then the pride before the fall
the fish are gone, the jobs are few
the town no longer what we knew
yobs with drugs, no jobs or hope
just endless puffing on their dope
older people afraid to pass by
who saw the good times and wonder why
i hope my children fly this town
and find somewhere nice to settle down
a place where maybe dreams come true
with jobs, and hope and a future too.

Dont Walk Away
I know what youre doing
You dont want to put the hurt on someone
Youve been trying to convince yourself
Youre better off if you just turn and run
But Im gonna hold on tight
Ive got a feeling
Youll only happen once to me
And no one, not even you
Is ever gonna make you wrong for me
Dont walk away
Or are you looking for a price to pay
Is that your master plan
Dont walk away
Ill do everything to make you stay
Ive got to make a stand
Dont walk away
Im not afraid
Dont walk away
I dont know where youre going
But I know what youve got on your mind
And I think your fear is showing
You dont leave things like fear behind
And I hate to be the one
To break it to you that
Were only human after all
I can mend a broken wing
Ill give you everything I have
Dont walk away
Or are you looking for a price to pay
Is that your master plan
Dont walk away
Ill do everything to make you stay
Ive got to make a stand
Dont walk away
Im not afraid
Dont walk away
You used to be the one
Who used to be so strong
What happened to your rationale
Your heart is on the line
It happens all the time
Dont walk away
Dont walk away
Dont walk away
Or are you looking for a price to pay
Is that your master plan
Dont walk away
Ill do everything to make you stay
Ive got to make a stand
Dont walk away
Im not afraid
Dont walk away

Season Of Unrest
Watching TV, I really can’t quite believe my eyes.
The country’s losing control, I’m starting to realise.
If I was caught up in the riots, I’d be shaking with fear,
But, to be honest, I wouldn’t even dare venture near.
All that people can see for many miles around,
Are buildings on fire, being razed to the ground.
Some people have literally lost all their possessions,
Which hits them harder in this time of recession.
Faced with rioters with masks to hide their faces,
Riot-trained police are put through their paces.
The authorities seem to be rapidly losing control,
And their lack of strong presence is taking its toll.
In some places, are police dressed in their riot gear.
All around, you can almost smell the sense of fear.
Cars and buildings are being deliberately set on fire.
People are running amok till their heart’s desire.
They’re breaking down people’s front doors,
As well as looting goods from the nearby stores.
Many shops have had their windows smashed;
Their goods carried off to where the loot is stashed.
Petrol bombs and missiles are being thrown at the police,
Who are doing their best to restore relative peace.
The streets are bathed in orange firelight,
As police and rioters continue to fight.
Staff have locked themselves in; to scared to leave work.
Scared of getting caught up in the mobs going berserk.
TV reporters try their very best to keep us up to date,
But, with their own lives at risk, reports have to wait.
Unrest has now spread far and wide.
Law abiding citizens run and hide.
People are being forced to leave their homes.
Through the dark streets, terrified, they roam.
Unrest has been brewing for quite a while.
With cutbacks and job losses, people get riled.
People wonder where will be targeted next.
The whole country, this problem now affects.
I’m concerned for the safety of a dear friend.
I do so wish these awful riots would end.
I really do hope that it’s not long before,
Peace and harmony are restored once more.

Speechless
(ian hunter)
Every time I watch you
Gotta switch you off, you surely cant be serious
Every time I see you
I just cant believe you go below ridiculous
All those days I spent
Starin at your wilderness
All those ways you got to me
Through me, you, you leave me speechless
You, you make me scared of you
You make me scared of losing concentration
You make me afraid of you
Make me afraid of losing conversation
All my friends say that youre forbidden - fruitless
I hide away with you - Im guilty - Im guilty
You found my only weakness
You, you leave me speechless
Entertainment came and went
Why cant you be more curious, adventurous, mysterious, sensuous
Your remote control
Is sending out patrols, Ive go consumer sadness
Spray me - camouflage me - blind me
So I cant see, help me through this madness
All those years I spent
Clingin to your warm breast
All those words
I dont think I guess
Gotta get you off my chest - you pest
You, you leave me speechless
