Side by side sat
on a bench of terminal
Talking and laughing at
The things we have shared together.
Day after day,
Time has passed by
Our little conversations are

A way that makes me to smile,

So I come back at the terminal.

to see those big brown eyes

Is somebody waiting for me?

I'm so glad you made time to see me
How's life? Tell me, how's your family?
I haven't seen them in a while
You've been good, busier than ever
We small talk, work and the weather
Your guard is up, and I know why

In the middle
It strikes me when I see her smile,
I catered her well, for she was fragile.
Her heart I promised I will never break,
But it Is now or never, so the risk I will take.
Long before, we have made a promise,
"Either of us must not fall in love, or this friendship will vanish"
And so, the promise I tried to keep,
I think about it, every night before I sleep.
She makes me smile by her effortless actions.
When I am with her, I focus my attention.

This poem was written about a girl I know, who has a wonderful smile. Every time I meet her, she gives a smile that, well, looks genuine and makes you feel so welcome. I stand and listen, head bowed,
to my inner complaint.
Persons passing by think

There are times when we take journeys
and are hesitant at what we might find.
In the back of our mind,
we fear rejection of any kind.
We step down from the plane
nervous of our surroundings
not sure what awaits us here.
