A travelled man..a tribute to Mike Lyon.

I’VE BEEN A TRAVELING MAN EVEN BEFORE I WAS BORN
IT MATTERED NOT, A STORMY NIGHT OR A SUNNY MORN
A MONUMENTAL JOURNEY THAT WAS LIFE ITSELF
FOR NINE MONTHS I WRIGGLED AND THRASHED AND MADE MYSELF FELT

I WELCOMED THE WORLD, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND
I ANNOUNCED MY PRESENCE WITH MY OWN PERSONAL SOUND
I EXPLORED THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE WORLD
IT GAVE ME THE INSPIRATION FOR THE LIFE I WOULD MOULD

MY KNOWLEDGE I HAD TO PROVE….CONFIRM
I MADE USE OF EVERY SCHOOL AND COLEGE TERM
THE MELODIES AND NOTES THAT HELPED MY MIND TO TICK
I ENVOKED SOME OF MY OWN WITH MY GUITAR PICK

THE LEGACY THAT IS MY OFFSPRING I WILL NEVER SURPASS
AS THEY DO ME PROUD AND STRIVE TO THE TOP OF THE CLASS

FATE HAS SENT ME TO THE RIGHT SCHOOL, I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS TO MEET MY WIFE
THE UPS AND DOWNS, WORRY AND JOYS
I WASN’T TO KNOW SHE WOULD BE WITH ME TO THE END OF MY LIFE

I LET OUT A SECRET..OF THE PLACE IN CORNWALL I NAMED AFTER ME,
LYON POINT [ SMILE]
FOR WITH THAT NAME YOU KNOW ITS NO SLEEZY JOINT.

I BADE FAREWELL TO MY FRIENDS WHO I KNOW LOVE ME
ON MY FINAL JOURNEY, FAREWLL AGAIN AS IT WONT BE BY LAND OR SEA.

Graduation

In couple months I will graduate from high school
I'm so excited and anixety
First, I have to get through this couple months and
Do everything I need to do
We are leaving behind good and bad memories
Is another chapter in your life
Time to start new one in college or whereever you go
Years in school fly so fast
This is our moment to show people we love that we can do it
You have plan to go to college or whatever you have in mind
Time to get our freedom and be away from home
Time to live our life way we want
We are going our separate path, but
We still can get in contact with each other
No matter where we are in the world
This is greatest moment of our life
We are going tear, laugh, smile, and be proud what we done
Graduation
Is once in life time
High school don't last forever
This is what we been dreaming
All our life and we make it through
With our ups and downs, bad and good times
I never picture myself that I would be here
In front of whole school and get my diploma in my hand
This is all worth it
I never gave up or had any doubt
Thank you to all my friends who was like my brothers and sisters
They have been there for me, fun to hang out, talktative, and funny
Thank you to my family who is supportive, caring, and love me
Thank you to all my teachers who never give up on me and help me through
I have confident, hope, and believe in myself
That I will make it through and look where I am

The School Of Life...

The place were much was learned; The School Of Life.

A far different place than papers, books, and homework.
The School of Life, is a never ending, when it comes to lessons.

In The School Of Life, I have learned, that not
all, is ever learned, or comprehended.

The School Of Life, often teaches one, some bitter and
disappointing lessons.

This school, reveals much in the way of surprises. Many
that of a happy nature and some, devastating.

Somehow, The School Of Life, teaches one, to keep going.
To try...try and try again. We learn that much is gained
through tenacity. We learn it matters not how many times
one is knocked down, for it is how many times we get
up, that is the test in this school.

We learn of mans inhumanity to man. We learn that in
helping our fellow human beings, there is much reward.

We learn, that The School Of Life, has no graduating day.
We learn, that we remain, an ongoing student of education.

The School Of Life, does have its rewards; a diploma of
knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

The School Of Life, better than any college in the world.
The School of Life, where knowledge is ones ticket to
anyplace in the world.

Learn ye well, for in The School Of Life, one does not
have the opportunity to repeat a grade.

My First Day At School(***A Real Experience***)

Oh, it came so fast like a speedy train,
in the month of heavy rain,
when the birds of joy just flew away,
and my heartbeat rose up each day.

the vacations were over and,
there was no more time to play in sand,
but of course you know what that was,
it was my school reopening day as it is.

That day morn when I woke up,
thought if i had a ever or hiccup,
lazy and unwilling, of course, of huss,
made it to the waiting bus.

As the speed of bus went high,
i sank back to the seat with a sigh,
at last whe i walked down to school,
i never knew to use what tool.

As my school came closer,
I became more more dozer,
but wait! now that at school i was,
noone knows the tension a girl has.

When i stepped in to my class,
My courage broke like a breaking glass,
but when i found out i wasn't alone,
and found news friends to adorn,
for first school became a heaven!

* when i was going on to my 5th class to a new school. of course i made a lot of friends and my shyness left me and i am now first at school

My Farewell

My farewell is a long one, I just have a lot to say.
Farewell to all of my teachers, you have taught me well.
You have taught me to grow with the world and with society.
You have taught me everything I know, and I say 'Thank you! '

My farewell goes to all of my friends,
You have been great throughout the years.
You have taught me a lot about life.
You have been there through the hatred and the love,
Through the ups and the downs,
Through thick and thin,
You have proved yourselves worthy of being true friends.
And I just want to say, 'I love you all! '

My Farewell goes to my parents.
You have also taught me well.
You are the ones who taught me how to credit others that I love and care
about. You sat with me in the doctors office through those painful shots.
You have been through hell and back with me, literally.
You have seen me grow from a little girl to the woman that I am today.

Father, you are the one who is going to give me away at the alter someday.

And Mother, you are the one who is going to help me find the perfect dress for my wedding and you are the one who is going to help me prepare for it.

You are the ones who I can trust with my life and I just want you to know that I am grateful and that I will love you with all my heart.
I will never forget you!

My farewell goes to Auburn High School.
I don't care how much I have said that I hated this old Brick building, I have come to be comfortable with it.
And I just want to say,

'CONGRATS CLASS OF 2010! WE MADE IT THROUGH! ! !

This Life Journey

This life journey we are on does have an ending
For all of us a final night and day
It may end for you in the place you were born and raised in
Or from there hundreds if not thousands of miles away

And whether you believe in a God and an afterlife or you are an atheist
To the Reaper of lives this does not matter at all
He does not differentiate between rich and poor and saint and sinner
To his sharp scythe everyone eventually does fall.

Along life's journey you will find joy and laughter
As well as sorrow hardship and despair
As we know everyone is not born as an equal
Though we all are born to breathe in the same air.

Our journey through life for us will end somewhere
It must end for him and her and you and me
And lets hope the journey for you will end happy
Where-ever or whenever that will be.

Our Final Farewell

To say our final farewell it happend not that long ago.
Our final farewell, I remember it so clearly.
Our final farewell, I remember your smile.
Our final farewell, I remember how proud you were
that you got promoted.
Our final farewell, happened like any 'goodbye'.
Our final farewell, you seemed happy.
Our final farewell, you seemed to enjoy life.
Our final farewell, you seemed to enjoy everything,
Our final farewell, I remember the conversation.
Our final farewell, sometimes haunts me.
Our final farewell, happened so quick.
Our final farewell, I didn't know that it was going to
be our last.
Our final farewell, happened more then a year ago
Your final farewell, happened on the 15/11/05 as you
took your own life.

Ups And Downs

Each life has its ups and downs
and I always figured
my life had more downs than ups.
However, when I stopped to look at it,
I think the reverse may well apply.
There have been more up than downs.

I have a wonderful wife,
which has to be an up.
I have been blessed with three lovely children,
which has to be another up.
I have friends from every four corners of the world.
There is no denying that is an up.

When I tried to look at the downs,
I really couldn’t think of any.
Therefore, at this moment
I am one of the few
real lucky people
who have more ups than downs.

Steps

My life was changed when you arrived,
I moved from Rock to lullaby.
I watched you as you grew and thrived
Just Daddy and his little guy.

When first you learned to ride your bike
and, wobbling, you sped away
I had a weird sensation that
I had just grown a touch more grey.

through every step of life with you
from nursery school through your degree
I paid the bills, I gave the rides
Life's afternoon you walked with me.

Afterwards, out with your friends
some beauties' eyes attracted you.
You stayed out late with your dates.
and I could not wait up for you.

Still later when you moved away,
and had a family of your own.
I didn't get to see you much,
we kept in touch mostly by phone.

Life is a journey, not a state
We knew this day would come for me
When I must go embrace my fate
and you must bide your destiny.

Our paths diverge, just yours goes on.
but do not stop to grieve for me.
I always knew this day would come
That I'd become a memory.

For so it was, and will always be
We parents bring life to this world
We start out as your guide and friend
never to see the journey end.

My Little Man

I watch him breath
As he sleeps in his bed
No longer a child
But a man instead
He gave me new meaning
He gave me new life
He helped me be
A better human being in life
He came into being
From deep within me
Nine months he grew
A kick start to new life
The day he was born
I looked on in awe
At this small baby boy
Who gave me a chance?
At a wonderful new life
From baby to child
To teenager, then young man
I wonder and think
Is he ready for life?
Can he handle the journey?
That is now, his, own plight
Will he make the right choices?
When in doubt, when in strife
Softly I smile at my little man
Will he be the man?
I know he can be
To me he will always be
The small little miracle
That god gave to me
And yes I know
He is just like me

Wolf Man

What do you think about a girl
who fell in love with a wolf man
night after night
she would look at his photo
on an LP record cover
missing him and thinking about him
This girl was me in my younger days
for he looked so serene and beautiful
without knowing his fate that
when the moon rises he will have to turn into
a wolf and roam around the fields and mountains
She didn't know his fate though she knew
he is the wolf man
with the charm he only contained in his feature
with a soul that maddened him and her
simultaneously
They never met in person
but the girl was truly in love with this wolf man
or rather a young boy he was
as young as she was I think 14
him 17 at the most...
One day this girl went to see a movie
about the wolf man
though it was banned for a school girl to go
see a movie by the school authority
she dare went to the theater and watched this movie
Nazareno it was titled
and saw the boy turn into a wolf
and saw that boy in real form
When would she meet this wolf man
in her life?
If fate allows her to see him in person
that will be a love for the first sight!
The boy grew over the years and became a man
a young man who could hand her a hand
to rescue her to rise from her
own seclusion and show her a new world
that would enlighten her soul and body
to be able to truly love someone
she dearly care about,
and that was her fate that she would
finally meet the guy in person
maybe a knight on a white horse
as many would described her him to be
and experience a new life
with and through him.
so this girl was waiting for that knight to arrive
at her door step
but he didn't come
so she had to go all the way across the sea
to eventually find him and meet him
and she is renewed by that knight
not on a white horse but
near her and beside her and with her
Now that her story is complete and
a great helper he became to her
such a soul and feature the man held
with him to show this girl the direction to go to
and led her through the walks of life
She is back home now having met this man
the wolf man who always was in her mind
and the wolf became a human again
and came to this human world.
Now they are here finally
safely arrived from the long
journey life challenged her to take on.

Only If I Could

I've made a lot of mistakes throughout my life
there are many things in life I regret I didn't do earlier
there are choices I've made in my life
I wish I could take them back
but, now it's too late cause I'm getting older
tick-Tack Tick-Tack
The clock won't stop
The time is slipping away
Only if I could
I would go back in the past
and change the mistakes I've made
and do everything I didn't do
Now, I'm about to die
there's no much time to have fun
to share one last kiss with the loves one
oh, that's life
enjoy it now my friend
love as long as can
do what you want to do
like what you do
Only if I could
I would restart my life all over again
I would restart my journey in a better way
we only live once
so, enjoy it
don't wait for later
because it would get colder
Once again
life is short
so enjoy it my dear dear friend

Doin Just Fine (Soul Solution Radio Mix)

There was a time when I thought life was over and out
When you went away from me
My dying heart made it hard to breathe
Would sit in my room
Because I didn't want to have to go out
And see you walking by
One look and I'd break right down and cry
Now you say that you've made a big mistake
Never meant to take your love away
But you can save your tired apologies
'Cause it may seem hard to believe
But
[Chorus: ]
I'm doin' just fine
Getting along very well
Without you in my life
I don't need you in my life
I'm doin' just fine
Time made me stronger
You're no longer on my mind
You were my earth
My number one priority
I gave me love to only you
Anything you'd ask of me
I would do
But somewhere down the road
You felt a change in the weather
And told me that you had to journey on
A kiss in the wind and your love was gone
Now you say you never meant to play your games
Girl, don't you know it's far too late
Because you let our love just fall apart
You no longer have a heart
[Chorus ]
When you said goodbye
I felt so all alone
There were times at night I couldn't sleep
My heart was much to weak to make it on my own
Baby after all the misery
And pain you put me through
So unfair to me girl
You're no longer my world
And I ain't missin' you at all
[Chorus ]

Have you ever felt like this was the end
End of our journey
we reached our destionation
love brought us together
& Than made us reach our final resort
Wich is Torn aprt at the seems
we both thought it was love
But the journey has ended
& we both have reached
our final path of a whole new world
& a whole new begining
but the ending of our journey
will always be left Dreding
But our story
will always remin
unwritten & unspoken
but always remember
Love will always find a way

Sailboat

As each grass grows and blows, so it is how each soul in life must grow, which goes like a sailboat.
Life is like a sailboat in that you are traveling on trouble waters as you embark on your journey, and throughout your journey as deep and uncertain as the waters are for a sailboat, the same fate lies in the journey of life.
No matter how straight the gate of life is, one will always face troubling waters.
Some days may be sunny and great to sail, while other may be rainy and dark.
But just as a sailor is able to maneuver through troubling waters and is able to dodge rocks and waves; we too possess those entities to be able to be rocked and stay steady like a sailboat.
But at the end of the day we are able to look to the sky and see the clouds and know that the unmoved mover is the reason for any progress through the struggle.
Being able to look from the higher land above, we then can see from where we have come.
As unsuspected as it may seem, sailing through all the struggles, we can now see the beauty of life from the other side looking in

Sonnet: Our Life on Earth Precedes Heaven

This world is like a boarding-lodging place!
We need it surely for our earthly stay;
But when we leave it for a newer base,
Our earthly days, forget forev’r, we may.

This world is like a journey by a ship!
On board we meet some friends and strangers say;
When destination comes, farewell we lip;
And like a dream becomes the yesterday.

This world is like a trip to foreign land!
It springs surprises, shocks, sadness and joys;
Let’s nev’r forget the divine, loving Hand;
Let’s listen to the Omnipotent Voice.

Our earthly stay is but a transient must
To gain Heaven, tho’ made from earthly dust!

Letter to my Father.

If I try to go back into the hands of time
I can't recall the first day of my life
But with care and affection from mom I grew up
With the passing of age to school I went

Father you made me go to school
You made me keen to be in class
And saintly made me take pen and paper
And painted my books with a the colours of my writing

I must apologise my father
Despite the years in class I am not a doctor
Nor a pilot or a lawyer or the teacher you intended
Because I got tired of the books
When I could not cook the answers
I walked out of school

But father do not scold me
Nor poor cold water on my path
Cool down your wrath and smile
I am a self made man of God
I run a multimillion church with a large flock
And I milk them well by the Bible fodder

Father I write this letter to you
Beseeching you to revoke your decision
Of banishing me when I dropped out of school
Because father,
I dine with the kings, date the queens
And I still preach to the emperors of the land

Life is a Journey of Ups and Downs

Even on a newly paved road, we can still encounter a constructors’ bumpy works – or maybe these exist purposely for travelers’ safety – but we don’t know until we passed them to our rides. Same as life: it is journey of ups and downs. We can ponder the past, as beautiful sceneries and yet we missed some details by obstruction of bumps, which we cannot look back by the speed of our commute. Same as life: we can look ahead and enjoy smooth rides towards sunset in an open view, like a dream full of colorful wishes or ambitions, yet only to be sighted by careful attention and guidance of our hands. Same as life: each one has final destination in this crazy world, and time is our age with unknown stoppage of seconds, but we all arrive to our own destiny.
Yes! Life is a journey of ups and downs – whether today is a joyful result of good fortune, and yesterday was the absence of luck, while tomorrow remains in the vein of the wind. Life, like given clays to perfectly shape them into a ball, and each print of fingertips are imprints of struggles. We can mold them in any sizes and shapes – as greatness to our endeavors – of how we work our fate throughout our given time. Some succeed and some fail.
And yes! Life is a journey of ups and downs – whether we are surrounded by thinkers or traitors; lovers or haters; good friends or enemies – to carefully eye them with our best judgment: Such judgments that do not offend one as opposite but as a protection to our own well being to learn of what we must know and gain of what we must earn.
Indeed, life is journey of good and bad, joy and sorrow, luck and misfortune, like post-signs: we can only repair the repairable and leave the un-repairable, so we can move on until our final destinations were reached upon God’s will.

Death Is Not Goodbye, It Is Just Farewell

I've reached that point where I now know,
My life here is over it's my time to go,
By the principles of honesty I've tried to adhere,
Perhaps that's why I do not feel fear.

When I leave this life my journey will start,
So I don't feel down now it's time to depart,
I'll be heading for the joys of eternal life,
No more pain or the feelings of strife.

I'll feel sadness for those I will leave behind,
But we'll never be far from each others mind,
I'll be watching over them from up above,
that way I can shower them all with my love.

I'll leave them with memories they'll never forget,
By focusing on them there will be no regret,
Life will go on but they will be aware,
They will feel my presence they'll know I am there.

I'll be back again with my Mum and Dad,
With that in mind how could I feel sad,
From those earthly pressures I'll forever be free,
There is so much I'm looking forward to see,

Thousands of relatives and friends from the past,
Together forever this new life will last,
Scientists say it's a dream but dreams do come true,
My undying faith will carry me through.

They'll all be waiting for me to arrive,
With that welcome to come I know I will thrive,
I'll be safe in the knowledge this new life is forever,
Where all life is equal now that's really clever.

There'll be animals and plants and beautiful seas,
No fighting or hatred nor any disease,
A kingdom where we are all treated the same,
Equality for all no recognition of fame.

No religious conflict or issues of race,
Infinite happiness is what I now face,
A wonderful world with a happy accord,
If you trust in your God this will be your reward.

No more sadness just feelings of joy,
Where nothing can upset or ever annoy,
That life I once had I will no longer miss,
For the one I have now is perpetual bliss.

By teaching your loved ones you will meet again,
From grieving too much it will help them refrain,
By knowing you're around them their fears will dispel,

‘' Death Is Not Goodbye It Is Just Farewell ‘'
