My dreams are shattered
My life is empty
They took my dreams away

This void that will never be filled again

They want me to be depressed
They want me to be hated

No one cares.
I'm just so sorry but no one cares about you.
No reason to get upset.
Do your own thing as you always do.
Let the time fade.
Follow the suns escape.
Take me somewhere, anywhere but here.
Like a ghost I just want to disappear.

Lifes Shattered Illusion
Love wanders through the tattered ruins of my heart,
Like a distant moment of a time long since passed,
Tis but a shadow of a thought in the gloom of night,
For the dream that I once held was ripped from me,
Shattered and broken I wander aimlessly through existance,
The rubble that was our life lays scattered around me,
Destined to suffer the heart wrenching agony of what was,

falling into the sullen
gray slumber of
my broken dreams
to the off-key melody
of my broken guitar
echoing the sound
of my broken heart
i yearn for glue
with which to mend
my broken home
that shattered along
with the pink guitar

Void In My Heart
There's a void in my heart
I can't seem to fill.
Been a parent,had three children
And a big house on the hill.
Hundred dollar in my pocket
And it didn't buy a thing.
Now there's a void in my heart
And a hole in my dreams.
Well I poured miles of concrete
And strung wire for telephones,
Dug ditches whenI was a yound boy
When I first left my parents' home.
Sang my songs for millions of people,
Sang good and bad news,

Well I did everything just like they said
So I could find happiness.
Went to school and got a college degree
