Black Rose

My dreams are broken;
these words are forever unspoken.
I know not who I am;
I know I am a rose without a stem;
a black rose that bleeds red;
my heart is full of dread.
I try to go beyond this reality;
to a place they call fantasy;
to try and find myself;
by looking for a heart shaped box left upon a shelf;
for I am a black rose that bleeds red;
it seems I am better off dead.
I am a lonely lost ghost;
nevermore will I be your host.
These wounds are but a memory of my affection;
if only you could see my broken reflection.
You caused my hands to be tainted with your blood;
now I have been swept away by this tormented flood.
You left me in solitude;
all alone, cold, and nude.
I know not what to do;

This Bridge
Today with a thought so concerned all the friendships
you had you lost you always burned
This bridge is weakening in its time
And no one cares about your broken life
Or its unwritten line
So unwrap your gift of sorrow
Retreat to your tired home
Burn a cigarette to its end
And rebuild your selfless throne
Someone tell me why our dreams always end up untrue

How the years have passed so fast

Funeral Train
Funeral Train
Waiting around,
for a funeral train in Chester,
and I don't feel it's coming round.
I heard my mother,
crying in the kitchen,
doing her best not to make a sound.
And I could lay on the rails or set my sails,
or clench my fists again,
maybe put my guns away.
Remembering you and what you wanted.
All that we stood for.
How can I walk away?
From these,
home dreams,
and half broken bridges,
that you wouldn't dare to burn down.
And it's,
old friends,
who tell you you're not alone,
and then they never come around.
I know now that I can't win,
when there's nothing left to lose.
It's only revenge.
And Lord, we’ve tried and tried,
but the future died for me,
in a hotel in LA.
Someday, one day, can’t catch a break.
Spend half my life on a line in a factory.
Waiting for some fresh air.
In these,

The darkness blooms on this cold still night,
Loneliness I wait; I wait for time to take flight,
But loneliness I wait; lost forevermore,

Lost forevermore like my burden upon dreams,

Awaken now by agony and greed,

All the years combine, they melt into a dream,
A broken angel sings from a guitar.
In the end theres just a song comes cryin up the night

God walks the Earth no more
